I finished my shopping and all I knew was I needed a good meal. I was passing by Steak house restaurant and I started ordering whatever I wanted. The food was delicious 😋, sizzling as it was served in my table and the staff were amazing 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👌🏾😀

Feel like this is a hidden gem. Service has always been excellent whenever we have come here and food is piping hot. Staff are always polite and attentive. Definitely recommend the mocktails. Our go to is the Beef loaded meal.

I might have had a better steak in my life but I can't remember when. Staff desperate to please and I will be back. Frequently! I had the 340g ribeye and the taste blew me away.

A first time visit here and a dam good experience The service was quick and efficient, without being overbearing The staff were polite and friendly - Hamza The food was outstanding - cooked to perfection, tasty and full of flavour - the medium rare sirloin was amazing. The sides were plentiful and also tasty. My uncle and I had a wonderful time, ate great food and paid a very reasonable price. Food: I must say it deserves a genuine 5 star rating. Steaks are the main course meal so we tried a ribeye and sirloin cuts with medium rare temp. And it was 10/10. Meat was definitely fresh and good and the steak cuts were as they should be. Services by Staff: Amazing friendly staff. We had interaction with Usman & Zayn initially. They made sure that we had an amazing experience. On the top of that when our food was served, Mr Mehboob (Chef) came out personally to check if the steak temp and taste were up to the expectations. In addition to this, they served our kids complimentary juices with popcorn chicken. Also gave them the activity pages to colour. If you are looking for Halal Steaks. This is your place in Cov.

The steak was excellently seasoned as well as the spicy rice. The staff were welcoming and friendly too!

Manager is on her phone all day and goes into the kitchen to disturb the chefs. When dishes are ready she disappears and then after 10 minutes the chefs need to come out and take them to customers and apologise. Absolutely unacceptable.

ridiculously expensive!! I paid £40 for this meal. You have to order sides separately even if it's a sauce. Food wasn't extraordinary. We get extra large platters in other restaurants at the same price.

I was rather disappointed in my visit to Steakout. I ordered a sirloin but it was almost a rump steak with the amount of fat and gristle in it, and for £19.95 for the smallest steak it didn't seem worth it. I suspect the restaurant doesn't actually cook the steaks fresh, but they cook from frozen as my medium steak had half medium and the other half medium rare. My husband asked for a blue steak but the restaurant didn't actually know what blue meant, which was a shocker for a steak specialist restaurant, they then went in to say that blue steak meant they would serve it blue but they referred to it as rare. He got a rare steak, it was just laughable really. Our friends who we went with weren't impressed either, the wrong order came, the wrong drink came and everyone's food came at different times so no one was able to eat together and one person was eating at the end when everyone needed to go. Service was so slow, starters took 45 mins to come out and when desserts came out one of our friends waited half an hour for her desserts by which time when it did come out everyone had finished their dessert. Management is really bad and disorganised here, we were very disappointed and won't be coming back. I'm only giving stars because the one waiter was helpful in cleaning my baby's bottle and bib, he was lovely.

Steakout is one of the best restaurants in Coventry. The food is really delicious and perfect, and the prices are reasonable. The staff is very professional and the service is exceptional. Mursaleen treated us very well. We will visit again. Highly recommend this place.

Lovely steak, prefer here to Miller & Carter! Friendly and helpful staff. It's expensive but the quality of the food was superb. Only let down was a couple of women watching things on their phones and the volume travelled round the restaurant, which was very annoying.

This is a alcohol free restaurant, that doesn't bother me, it was busy but service that very slow. The food wasn't much, I haven't had a spicy chicken pie before. Maybe if I tried something else it might have been different. The pie was obviously a frozen pie because it had two different types of pastry, the mash potato served to my brother, looked that it had been mucked. My gripe with the service,I asked for a drink , three attempts before it arrived. Won't be returning. I think they should look up when there are events on in the city.

I first want to compliment the exceptionally polite and well-mannered staff - I've not encountered this level of courtesy even at full-blown (and significantly more expensive) restaurants. Food was excellent, well-priced, came quickly, and the menu offers a nice variety of choice. - We arrived at 6:40pm, the food was on our table by 7pm leaving us plenty of time to get back to the Belgrade. Will be going again. This may, in fact, be our new food place of choice when shopping in Coventry.

The stake was so delicious and service was outclass. I order rib eye stake.

I went in there to have a pulled steak burger and found few really concerning takeaways. 1. Hygiene - The bottle of the water was dirty enough to disgust me not to even have it. Please clean the covers of the bottle. Moreover, the place just did not seem clean with dirt stains visible everywhere. 2. Food - For charging such a premium price you expect fresh ingredients. The burger’s lettuce was going brown and just tasted out of date. The fries were not even well salted it was just plain. 3. Service - Staff was decent nothing bad to say about but nothing good as well. Overall if you don’t want to risk eating rotten ingredients and clean water DO NOT visit this place. Alternatively, you can visit a nearby steakhouse opening just in front of this restaurant with seems to have already caught my attention.

Lovely place for drinks ans drinks are top notch. Food was really good decent size portions price is also reasonable. Can’t be ask more of it but still I ll ask for litte music 🎶

Both food and service was really nice. We loved the beef sirloin steak and the chicken steak. The pina colada was the best we had in Coventry. Me and a friend tried to call to get some information about the availability so as we could make an informed decision as to whether we could get a reservation or just walk in and instead we were met with a lot of rudeness and impatience, and the lady who originally picked up the call even canceled the call on us after being rude. Only for someone else to pick up the call and be just as rude and sarcastic. I understand that these jobs are hard as I also work in retail, but there's never an excuse to talk to a possible customer like so at any time. The staff at this establishment should be ashamed of acting like this and if they don't like their job, they should look elsewhere for work, might I suggest in the mountains raising farm animals.

Amazing venue…tasteful decor, comfortable seating, clean & modern. Must be the best rib-eye steak I’ve ever eaten…succulent and full of flavour. Can tell it’s from high quality beef. Texas Steak House doesn’t come close! Dynamite shrimp yummy & classy presentation. The chops obviously have a secret recipe that no other place can match. Portion sizes also make it worth the trip . Would highly recommend for individual or family.

Tried Steakout for the first time today and we wasn’t disappointed. Our drinks and food came quickly. Staff were very attentive. The loaded fries were amazing and the steak was cooked perfectly. Great prices , very happy with our visit.

High quality steaks with sophisticated atmosphere! Really beautiful restaurant located in the heart of coventry. I visited there on a sunny evening. Very trendy clean, staff were very attentive and friendly, good customer service and unbelievably tasty meat. I ordered rob- eye steak and signature chicken burger and a mojito drink. The food was prompt and bursting with flavour. The rib- eye steak’s enticing scent and thick cut was beautifully tender. Every ingredient seemed to be well though out and married with each other. I love the whole order. As a person who loves food i totally recommend it.

Decided to eat here before going to the theatre. My kids ordered the Angus burger and thought its the best burger they've had in a long time. Also the mango milkshake was a big hit!The service was great. However the place was quite empty.

Standard of food here has gone down since they’ve had a new chef. I’ve been complaining for months but they just don’t care. Ordered dynamite prawns and they had no sauce , ordered wings they were burnt with no blue cheese sauce.

Food tasted amazing even the kids enjoyed their meals. The children's meals are a good size and price and had just enough variety to choose from. Personally, I feel the cost of an adults meal leans slightly on the expensive side, considering it is just the meat you pay for (cheapest meat on menu is £15.95 but we had the 200g Philly Cheese Steak and 200g Rib eye), and add chips or anything else on as a side. Service is in need of improvement. Spent quite a while waiting to be able to order then table wasn't cleared in a timely manner; which put us off ordering dessert. I could understand waiting times being longer if it was busy but there were only 2 other families in there. On a positive note, the food didn't take long to arrive. It was also a nice touch that the children menus had colouring pictures on, but when we asked if they had any colours as we didn't bring any, the gentleman said he would find out then went off, never to be seen again.

The taste of stake was fine but extremely dry. No sides with it, fries, or vegs. The stake portion was also less. Not worth the price.

Food ordered: T bone steak (steak out style) Filet mignon (Western style) Mash potato Fries Buffalo wings This review is going to be one which urges immediate intervention and improvement on the owners part, the experience is simply not good enough. Being one of two surviving steakhouses in coventry city centre I expected the pedigree to be much higher than it was. Service was run of the mill, not rude in any manner but not high quality - the server did not even ask how we would like the steak cooked. As he ran away, I had to throw the assertion at him. The wings were not fresh. From the frozen bag to the fryer, then dooked in standard supermarket sauces and served plainly without the addition of herbs or greenery. Would not buy again until improvements are made. The Filet mignon - poised for the fan favourite that is 'medium' - came to be a horrifically uneven rare and overcooked depending on what angle you came at the steak. The taste was 7/10 but when coupled with the lacklustre peppercorn sauce this quickly slumped to a 5/10. The sauce was too thick, likeness of a curry sauce with not many peppercorns with such resistive permeability that taste can't sliver through. Would recommend a whole revamp to the offering. Pause here - the location of Steakhouse is fantastic. The breathability in seating is a stark difference to the overcrowded opium den that your usual steakhouse can be. The move to have a bespoke dessert parlour would be a welcome one - if the offering was again improved (more on this later). The point is there is potential to 'Steakout', but it has not been fully realised. Would love to come back when these changes are met. So this isn't a bleak review it's again, an urge for improvement. The t bone was thin, dry, not in the boundary of 'medium' scalding once again, and somehow the 'steakhouse' version turned out to be completely tasteless! Reaching for some liquid to quench this salivary drought you'd arrive at the peppercorn sludge ill-equipped to quench nor compliment the dry t bone. Sided with a tasteless Mash, just like mum makes... when she makes it on the hob... After pouring in the sachet of Aldi's instant Mash. Not to confuse with the buttery soft Nandos Mash this was more a Sunpat's crunchy peanut butter texture where you might stumble across something solid and grainy every so often. Needed more butter. This is a plead to the steakout team. Eagerly awaiting your glow up.

This is just a take away place, nothing to do with the restaurant nor pub/Cafe. Paper manues sticking to the tables. Steaks with no wine. (Zero alcohol drinks) Burgers, ready to cook, dry meat, with a single slice cheese from shop. Sticky tables. No kids area. We were 7 people, adults, kids. Harvester would be much preferred.

Quite possibly the worst steak I've ever had. Small and full of fat and gristle. A few chips, accompanied this miserable piece of meat, which weren't anything special. I gave them 2 stars just for the quick service. I won't be going here again.

Been to coventry many times but never tried Steakout, thought i’d give it a shot. The place was practically empty which I can understand why with online orders etc. I had a chicken burger which was extremely delicious but very small in size. The pulled Angus beef burger was amazing despite taking a while. The mango juice was delish and so was there mojito, well done. I was not given a stirrer for the coffee which I asked for. [Tip for the server. If you give someone tea or coffee please note that we will need spoon/stirrers]. The atmosphere is a bit dull and the music did not help. Should try upbeat genres. I recommend to visit though.

Went here yesterday with the boys, ordered 2 tbone steaks and 1 minion food was exceptionally good, the prawns were really good too, but i really loved the service from the waitress there , her name is orla , she was amazing properly made sure to look after us boys, shes a asset to the restaurant. I just had to write this review I took my sister out for dinner the other night for her 16th Birthday. We was running late and everything was closing as it was getting late thankfully we found Steakout. When we got there they was almost closing but still managed to accommodated us. Even with closing time coming we didnt feel rushed even when it came to having our food. Our Waiter was Name Hamza he was Outstanding!!He checked in on us and made sure we had everything we needed.Our main course came on time and was so delicious and the dessert was just perfect. After a theatre show we arrived just before opening time , but as we had a toddler in tow we were let in. Service and hospitality was perfect . Food unbelievably good. Restaurant and bathroom spotless. Near to bus station, and has an adjoining Shakeout premises within. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed hers. Make sure you visit .

FOOD was amazinng its a must tryy and the service from an indian boy as well was top notch. he deserved the £1 tip i gave him. the steak was blissfully cut the food melted in my mouth it was like adams apple but instead it was brown but was so worth the visit

I just felt like heading out to Coventry on a Sunday afternoon as I don’t go that way that much, and as I was walking around the city centre. I saw Steakout and I thought I’ll give it a go. When entering the place it was not busy, and I assumed that it gets busier during the evenings. The guy at the front who served me was polite and friendly, when I asked him questions about the menu he was good and answered my questions politely. For the starters I ordered the Dirty Fries (with ground beef), the drinks I ordered the Mixed Fruit Juice and the main dish, I ordered the Fillet Mignon (340g). The Dirty Fries were good, they were like a main course meal by itself. The Mixed Fruit Juice was refreshing and cool (I should of asked for more and binged on it 😅). And the Fillet Mignon was on the point between good and ok. Apart from that my experience at Steakout Coventry was a good one👍.

This was my first time with a stake. I can't rate it 5 star. It was just good. Customer Service was good. Food was Service in about twenty minutes of order. Dirty chips were the best item. It was really hard to find parking.

We visited on a Saturday evening about 6:30pm and there were plenty of tables available. Nice and clean, background music not too loud. The staff were chatty and attentive to the right level and gave us a few minutes before taking a drinks order then giving us time to look at the menu offering to explain anything on there. We had some starters, a sizzling butterflied chicken, a sandwich and burger. We were all pleased with the portion size and quality of the food. Service did seem a little slow but to be fair there was a local rugby team that ordered before us! Dessert portion size was ample after what we'd had.

Ate in on a relaxed mid month Saturday afternoon. Not many people in eating. The service was great. The young lady that served us made us feel most welcome and ensured that the little changes to our orders were made. Even made small talk with us when we asked what there was nearby to do. Food exceeded our expectations. I had great short ribs. Desserts looked amazing (but I was stuffed from the main). I tipped I was that happy. We would go again. No negatives that I can think of. A good experience.

Terrible food after a long wait finally received my food which was not what I ordered and the rude young blonde waitress (but acted like the owner) was very inappropriate and flirty with some members in our group which made everyone uncomfortable and very argumentative with others

The food is good but the presentation in cheap! You order a steak for £20-25 and it comes in a plate with not a stick of fries or even a bunch of salad ! It will not kill them 25P of fries or Salads.

Never reviewed before but felt the need. Absolutely horrendous food and service. Beef items were pure gristle, and chicken items were more sinew than meat - all meals practically inedible. It also is completely unacceptable to allow customers to roll out prayer mats in the middle of the restaurant for private prayer. Chosen as somewhere suitable for three pre-teens, but a terrible experience all round.

Family birthday party- Son with ADHD grandparents and kids. Really inviting and gave us a good seating area for son to be loud and not upset people. Food was moderate. Bad side- Gave us out of date mayonnaise. We only realised after eating it because we seen date on packet. Restaurant manager apologised and said she had the same issue with some chocolate they ordered recently. This didn’t help the fact we had just eaten out of date mayo. (Over 2 months out of date). One of us already has an upset stomach. Second concern was the fact you couldn’t flush toilet paper. You had to wipe your bum then put it in a bin next to the toilet. Maybe we are just expecting too much but for what you pay I would expect better.

The worst meal I think I've ever had. Visited as a family of five ..took 20 minutes to order and that was with us gesturing someone over. Food took 45 minutes to arrive. I went for the steak sandwich and I couldn't find any steak in it. Overpriced c**p. You'll find better at Wetherspoons.

Tasteless food and greedy owners/management. If you order something and its not as described you're stuck with it! I ordered the pulled beef dirty fries. I got mince meat instead and they went on to insult my intelligence and tell me that pulled bbq beef is ground. These guys need to close down ASAP

Restaurant seems to encourage their delivery drivers to use a pedestrian crossing to park up on the pavement outside the Restaurant. This is dangerous and should not be encouraged. Please remind your drivers that pedestrians have priority on pavements and crossingsz not cars parked illegally - continuing to reverse across a pavement whilst pedestrians are trying to pass is not a great idea!

Meat was well cooked, we had a nice server very attentive and always checked on us. The mixed veggies were a little light on the portion side but the sweet potato fries made up for it. They were very very good. Crispy too!! Didn’t break bank either and the food was served fast even in a larger group.

This was a very nice meal! We got the mixed grill, the mac and cheese burger, the philly cheesesteak, and the dirty fries. The mixed grill was the best part and highly recommend getting that. The mac and cheese burger was okay, but the mac and cheese tasted like it has been sitting for awhile. The waitstaff was friendly, but the wait time and attentiveness was a bit slow.

First failure: 50 minutes to bring out steak and chips, while online order after online order was fulfilled. When we mentioned this to the waiter, we were told not to worry because they actually operate 3 additional 'dark kitchens' and that wasn't why our food took so long. But no explanation given as to why steak and chips took 50 mins. For future restaurant reference, no-one wants to eat at a restaurant which has 'dark kitchens'. This is not a plus-sign or valid excuse for poor service. My meal was fine, but my dad's meal was not. The steak (ordered med-rare) was overcooked and very dry. The onions served with it were undercooked. The 'chunky chips' (which cost £6!) were also undercooked. The manager didn't bother to check in once, although we saw them checking in with other tables. After the waiter let the manager know we were unhappy, no attempt was made to rectify or even apologise. Vents are duct-tape repaired which is never a good sign; I wish I'd read reviews before coming to this restaurant. My dad was very unhappy that he paid £30 for a crappy overcooked steak.

Personal sehr freundlich, Essen hochwertig, Steaks, Lamm und Burger auf den Punkt gegrillt, so wie wir es bestellt haben. Waren zu sechst hier. Empfehlenswert. Es gibt keinen Alkohol, was zu einem zivilisierten Umgang mit dem Personal führt.😊

Honestly, if I could give this place less than one star, I would. Absolutely horrendous experience. Especially it being Christmas Eve. We had a party of 13 and nobody was happy with the food. I myself ordered the dirty fries which were described as being pulled beef, but what they gave me was a burger patty with undercooked chips literally the chips were white. I asked to speak to the owner whose name was Hassan, which was the biggest mistake as all he did was make excuses and blame his staff, which i found quite shocking as his staff actually went above and beyond, and were really sorry about the food we had received. The steakout brand really needs to look into this branch and its management. Myself being the owner of a brand. I would never let this person be in charge of a branch with my brand name on it.

We had steaks. Nothing was delicious. Even could not bring fires hot. So you can imagine how the rest food could be.

Service was great (waitress friendly and polite) but the place was empty, appearing to serve mostly deliveroo orders. Dirty fries were more like "drowned" and the burger was bland. Aggravating tiny glass soft drink bottles and no beer. If I hadn't been exhausted from a 4 hour train journey I'd have just left. The shake was also disappointing. Would not go here again.

Compared to Torros it’s terrible. Very expensive for what they give. My steak was very chewy and was not edible. Doesn’t come with sides unless you order separately and even then they forgot my sides aka chips. Did they expect me to eat the steak by itself? The drinks were completely forgotten. Cost an arm and leg. Will not be visiting this place again….I’d rather walk the extra 30 seconds and indulge in delicious Torros
