Amazing. Really impressed. Good atmosphere, great food. Moeez was an absolute gem, we felt truly looked after. Usman though...

Long waiting time. We waited an hour for drinks and extra half an hour for starters. The main meal takes two hours which they told us ONLY 10-15 minutes. So disappointed! The chicken wings are salty and steak has no flavour. My friend ordered lamb which tasted like kitchen paper. Most of my friends have food poisoning after the meal. Definitely black list!!!

As I have celiac disease I rang to make a reservation and to check on the menu options. I was assured that they catered for celiac and had gluten free options. When ordering I was handed a sticky book full of crosses on thier food. My ONLY option was a single plain, dry steak, no appetisers, no sides, no sauces and no desserts. As I was with my family for a birthday event I felt I had no option but to sit there awkwardly with my pathetic excuse of a 'meal'. I asked the waiter why i was told they catered for celiac as i wouldn't of come if they had been honest and he reshowed me the book and pointed at items with barley in stating I could of had those! I would not recommend to anyone with any dietary requirements.

Went to steakout with family. Nice calm atmosphere. Excellent service. There was a little bit delay in serving food. I guess preparation time. Food was good and fresh, tasty.

Absolute tosh! Have no idea why my review keeps getting taken down, the chips we received were hard in the middle and undercooked! The lamb had an odd flavour to it, so not sure what kind of spices etc were used, but it didn’t work well with the meat. Furthermore, the tap water was provided in glass bottles that clearly needed a clean!

The food was amazing aswell very flavourful and it was made quickly. We had Moeez as our server and he was so kind and helpful and made the experience that much better! He was there whenever we needed him which was great aswell, will be coming back.

Una experiencia abrumadora. Gastamos en total alrededor de 130 - 140 gbp en total en una fiesta de 5. Inicialmente, el personal en la entrada, la decoración era como se esperaba, era tranquilo, que no era algo malo. Eventualmente pusieron música ya que su ambiente no era previo. Todas las comidas se pidieron medias pero 3 de las comidas salieron bien hechas y bastante duras del primer corte. Planteó el problema a un miembro del personal donde el chef aparentemente dijo que se convierte en bien hecho de medio debido al plato chispeante, que no debería ser una cosa. Los platos Sizzler son para mostrar solo donde el calor reacciona con generalmente lo que el jugo de limón puesto sobre una placa caliente. No estoy de acuerdo en que esté bien hecho para cuando se corte por primera vez. Uno de los miembros de mi partido no comió toda su comida, después de esto y no se ofrecieron a reunirse en medio de compensarlo con un filete re-hecho o un reembolso. Pagamos la factura completa causando un alboroto mínimo, sin embargo debo admitir que por el dinero pagado, el valor de la comida y la calidad estaba por debajo de la par. Siento que podría haber conseguido comida de mejor calidad y cómo lo pedí en el camino desafortunadamente.

Took my mum out on a girly date and although it was raining on the day, the place was really warm and our server Moaz was really friendly and accommodating by offering to turn the heating up for us. Our meal was really delicious and done to our liking and we were given some fries on the house which was a nice touch (gratitude in the little things I guess). It was a really nice meal and would go back again.

The food presentation is great! The food, however, is tasteless! I've been here twice now, the first time I blamed my taste buds, but the second time, I cemented my opinion. There is no value for money whatsoever! Such a shame, they're right in the heart of Coventry city.

A questionable lunch - after being seated I asked the server what beers they had, the server I formed me that they didn't server alcohol as they didn't have a licence, a steakhouse that doesn't serve alcohol? I mean really? Anyway we proceeded to order 2 filet mignon with a few side orders and water to drink. After a much longer wait than expected, considering the place was virtually empty the average tasting food came. The quality of the meat was poor. They are obviously buying it as cheap as they can to try and maximise profits. It was an ok meal, but just ok nothing more. Now, the thing that really ruined it was the hefty price they charged. All in all I feel like I paid £100 for about £50 - £60 worth of food & drink. If it was more reasonably priced I would of gave a much higher rating.

The food was actually amazing and the service was top notch and man pretty sure his name was hamza pretty tal with a beard and comb over. He served us and he was amazing i wish i tipped him but had no extra money he was amazing though. The seats were amazing and the food i ordered and mt friends did were 10 out of 10 qualtiy. And i thought coventry had no good steak places . Thank you defo got a regular customer now.

Feel like this is a hidden gem. Service has always been excellent whenever we have come here and food is piping hot. Staff are always polite and attentive. Definitely recommend the mocktails. Our go to is the Beef loaded meal.

I might have had a better steak in my life but I can't remember when. Staff desperate to please and I will be back. Frequently! I had the 340g ribeye and the taste blew me away.

A first time visit here and a dam good experience The service was quick and efficient, without being overbearing The staff were polite and friendly - Hamza The food was outstanding - cooked to perfection, tasty and full of flavour - the medium rare sirloin was amazing. The sides were plentiful and also tasty. My uncle and I had a wonderful time, ate great food and paid a very reasonable price. Food: I must say it deserves a genuine 5 star rating. Steaks are the main course meal so we tried a ribeye and sirloin cuts with medium rare temp. And it was 10/10. Meat was definitely fresh and good and the steak cuts were as they should be. Services by Staff: Amazing friendly staff. We had interaction with Usman & Zayn initially. They made sure that we had an amazing experience. On the top of that when our food was served, Mr Mehboob (Chef) came out personally to check if the steak temp and taste were up to the expectations. In addition to this, they served our kids complimentary juices with popcorn chicken. Also gave them the activity pages to colour. If you are looking for Halal Steaks. This is your place in Cov.

Manager is on her phone all day and goes into the kitchen to disturb the chefs. When dishes are ready she disappears and then after 10 minutes the chefs need to come out and take them to customers and apologise. Absolutely unacceptable.

ridiculously expensive!! I paid £40 for this meal. You have to order sides separately even if it's a sauce. Food wasn't extraordinary. We get extra large platters in other restaurants at the same price.

Estaba bastante decepcionado en mi visita a Steakout. Pedí un solomillo, pero era casi un filete de grupa con la cantidad de grasa y grasa en él, y por £ 19. 95 para el filete más pequeño no parecía valer la pena. Sospecho que el restaurante en realidad no cocina los filetes frescos, pero cocinan congelados ya que mi filete medio tenía mitad medio y la otra mitad medio raro. Mi esposo pidió un filete azul, pero el restaurante no sabía lo que significaba el azul, lo que fue un shock para un restaurante especializado en filetes, luego entraron a decir que el filete azul significaba que lo servirían azul, pero se refirieron a él como raro. Tenía un filete raro, era realmente risible. Nuestros amigos con los que fuimos tampoco estaban impresionados, vino el orden equivocado, vino la bebida equivocada y la comida de todos vino en diferentes momentos, así que nadie pudo comer juntos y una persona estaba comiendo al final cuando todos necesitaban ir. El servicio fue tan lento, que los entrantes tardaron 45 minutos en salir y cuando salieron los postres una de nuestras amigas esperó media hora por sus postres para cuando sí salió todos habían terminado su postre. La dirección es muy mala y desorganizada aquí, estábamos muy decepcionados y no volveremos. Sólo estoy dando estrellas porque el camarero fue útil en la limpieza del biberón y babero de mi bebé, era encantador.

Steakout is one of the best restaurants in Coventry. The food is really delicious and perfect, and the prices are reasonable. The staff is very professional and the service is exceptional. Mursaleen treated us very well. We will visit again. Highly recommend this place.

Lovely steak, prefer here to Miller & Carter! Friendly and helpful staff. It's expensive but the quality of the food was superb. Only let down was a couple of women watching things on their phones and the volume travelled round the restaurant, which was very annoying.

This is a alcohol free restaurant, that doesn't bother me, it was busy but service that very slow. The food wasn't much, I haven't had a spicy chicken pie before. Maybe if I tried something else it might have been different. The pie was obviously a frozen pie because it had two different types of pastry, the mash potato served to my brother, looked that it had been mucked. My gripe with the service,I asked for a drink , three attempts before it arrived. Won't be returning. I think they should look up when there are events on in the city.

I first want to compliment the exceptionally polite and well-mannered staff - I've not encountered this level of courtesy even at full-blown (and significantly more expensive) restaurants. Food was excellent, well-priced, came quickly, and the menu offers a nice variety of choice. - We arrived at 6:40pm, the food was on our table by 7pm leaving us plenty of time to get back to the Belgrade. Will be going again. This may, in fact, be our new food place of choice when shopping in Coventry.

The stake was so delicious and service was outclass. I order rib eye stake.

I went in there to have a pulled steak burger and found few really concerning takeaways. 1. Hygiene - The bottle of the water was dirty enough to disgust me not to even have it. Please clean the covers of the bottle. Moreover, the place just did not seem clean with dirt stains visible everywhere. 2. Food - For charging such a premium price you expect fresh ingredients. The burger’s lettuce was going brown and just tasted out of date. The fries were not even well salted it was just plain. 3. Service - Staff was decent nothing bad to say about but nothing good as well. Overall if you don’t want to risk eating rotten ingredients and clean water DO NOT visit this place. Alternatively, you can visit a nearby steakhouse opening just in front of this restaurant with seems to have already caught my attention.

Both food and service was really nice. We loved the beef sirloin steak and the chicken steak. The pina colada was the best we had in Coventry. The service was amazing and the staff who attended were super nice to us. Minor suggestion to kitchen: It would be great if you could include some veggies with steaks.

Me and a friend tried to call to get some information about the availability so as we could make an informed decision as to whether we could get a reservation or just walk in and instead we were met with a lot of rudeness and impatience, and the lady who originally picked up the call even canceled the call on us after being rude. Only for someone else to pick up the call and be just as rude and sarcastic. I understand that these jobs are hard as I also work in retail, but there's never an excuse to talk to a possible customer like so at any time. The staff at this establishment should be ashamed of acting like this and if they don't like their job, they should look elsewhere for work, might I suggest in the mountains raising farm animals.

Amazing venue…tasteful decor, comfortable seating, clean & modern. Must be the best rib-eye steak I’ve ever eaten…succulent and full of flavour. Can tell it’s from high quality beef. Texas Steak House doesn’t come close! Dynamite shrimp yummy & classy presentation. The chops obviously have a secret recipe that no other place can match. Portion sizes also make it worth the trip . Would highly recommend for individual or family.

High quality steaks with sophisticated atmosphere! Really beautiful restaurant located in the heart of coventry. I visited there on a sunny evening. Very trendy clean, staff were very attentive and friendly, good customer service and unbelievably tasty meat. I ordered rob- eye steak and signature chicken burger and a mojito drink. The food was prompt and bursting with flavour. The rib- eye steak’s enticing scent and thick cut was beautifully tender. Every ingredient seemed to be well though out and married with each other. I love the whole order. As a person who loves food i totally recommend it.

Decided to eat here before going to the theatre. My kids ordered the Angus burger and thought its the best burger they've had in a long time. Also the mango milkshake was a big hit!The service was great. However the place was quite empty.

Standard of food here has gone down since they’ve had a new chef. I’ve been complaining for months but they just don’t care. Ordered dynamite prawns and they had no sauce , ordered wings they were burnt with no blue cheese sauce.

Food tasted amazing even the kids enjoyed their meals. The children's meals are a good size and price and had just enough variety to choose from. Personally, I feel the cost of an adults meal leans slightly on the expensive side, considering it is just the meat you pay for (cheapest meat on menu is £15.95 but we had the 200g Philly Cheese Steak and 200g Rib eye), and add chips or anything else on as a side. Service is in need of improvement. Spent quite a while waiting to be able to order then table wasn't cleared in a timely manner; which put us off ordering dessert. I could understand waiting times being longer if it was busy but there were only 2 other families in there. On a positive note, the food didn't take long to arrive. It was also a nice touch that the children menus had colouring pictures on, but when we asked if they had any colours as we didn't bring any, the gentleman said he would find out then went off, never to be seen again.

The taste of stake was fine but extremely dry. No sides with it, fries, or vegs. The stake portion was also less. Not worth the price.
