Steak Lounge and Grill in Glasgow City

Vine aquí para abrir mi ayuno a la hora del iftar y esperé más de una hora para que mis entrantes fueran servidos. Realmente descontento con el horrible servicio ya que el camarero ni siquiera se disculpó por la espera, especialmente cuando estábamos en ayunas y nos hizo esperar más de una hora hasta el punto en que nos sentimos mareados no recomiendo este lugar como la excusa que el camarero nos dio que estábamos "sentado lejos de la cocina" absoluta desgracia de servicio al cliente, especialmente si no pueden manejar un ambiente ocupado.

Nos alojamos no muy lejos de este restaurante. Este restaurante no es lo que es estados para ser. Se tomó el orden y cuando se presentaron los platos estaban todos mal mezclados. La comida era normal. La salsa de hongos era pobre. Los filetes no se hornean como se pide. no nombrar cosas que serían las mismas que no serían halal. El sabor es completamente diferente.

Nos dirigíamos a la puerta de al lado de Nando y decidimos probar el Steak Lounge y la parrilla. Buen restaurante en el interior, pero la comida era terrible... Pedí el entrante de chuleta de cordero y tbh estaban muy sabrosos, que esperaba después de una espera de 35 minutos después de una espera de 15 minutos para tomar nuestro pedido. Para la principal pedí la brocheta de espetada de cordero con peri patatas fritas saladas que llegó después de una espera de 45 minutos estaba helada y tan dura como las botas viejas. Había 4 trozos muy pequeños de cordero por £ 25 era terrible lo envié de vuelta ya que no era comestible. Mi compañero pidió el hueso T de 14 onzas medio raro. Hacía frío azul y helado, y la gambas al ajo que pidió junto a ella estaba claramente congelada y no tenía ajo, ¡otra comida no comestible! Me quejé con el camarero que para ser honesto fue muy disculpado dijo que le pediría a su gerente que viniera a hablar con nosotros a lo que esperamos 15 minutos mientras veíamos a dicho gerente tener una conversación con sus amigos y todavía no venía. En este punto decidimos que solo queríamos irnos y olvidar hablar con él. El camarero se disculpó de nuevo y dijo que era porque estaban muy ocupados, el lugar estaba vacío y la mitad del personal estaba caminando por los teléfonos móviles. No recomiendo y nunca volveré encantador restaurante de aspecto, pero la gestión y la comida dejan mucho que desear

Not great at all, supposed to be a steak restaurant however initially when ordered waiter did not ask how I wanted my £35 steak done, I have to say to them, medium rare, when the steak arrived somehow they managed to over cook parts of it, this ruined the meal, if they are charging good money for a steak then they should know how to cook it.

Great service and well presented halal food. Good sized portion. Atmosphere and lovely vibes specially when sitting near River windows.

Despite the fact that you pay dearly for the food, the only thing that is worth having is the steak. Called early to book a table and was told cannot do table booking due to busy time for dinner and I need to come earlier than my planned time to secure a good table. I went early to find the only tables on offer are in the middle of the restaurant with no privacy, when I pointed out that there are tables on the left end of the restaurant I was told they don't open that area, so had to settle for a middle of the restaurant table. To my surprise soon after 15 minutes some customers were seated on the left end though many tables was empty where I was seated, a passing staff I called and pointed out the issue and I'm not happy though I found out that he was the manager he didn't offer any replacement table or even an apology, this was really terrible to face a manager with such ignorance to customer satisfaction. If it's not Ramadan and we are all fasting and it's breaking fast time I would have left. First and last time.

I loved the food. It was really delicious. I was looking for halal steak and found it. The Staff were very nice especially Faye, Zahra and Mohammad.

We went as a family of 5 for my husbands birthday. I dont know if they expected as many guests as they had on a Wednesday night. It felt as if the food was empty. Previously with family we had 15to20 people and the food was nice which is why i chose it for his birthday instead of the usual nandos. We ordered fish finger, chicken nugget and strips meals for kids. For ourselves we had the butterfly chicken steak meal. For the salad we literally had leafs, no sauce drizzle, no tomatoes nothing else. Then came the chicken, it was supposed to be a butterfly chicken! i guess it could be as it was 1/2 of one !!!! same for my husband. There were no fish fingers so changed it to strips. Honestly looked like they cut them in half and there were 3 little 1/2 bits per child. We left and we were actually still hungry. Now that has never happened when we have been for a proper steak meal. I understand times are hard but paying what we did i will not be back. We actually decided not to order desserts as we wondered how tiny they would be. honestly a dissapointment especially as it was for my other halfs special day

Went with 4 friends with whom we meet every 6 months. Out of all steak places we chose steak lounge on word of mouth and to give them business. Worst mistake ever!!! It all started off bad. Place was half empty. We asked to sit at window table they said no so sat along wall table, asked for jug of water, never came after 20mins and had to ask again for it. Got starters between us all, but no plates left for us to eat on. Ordered our individual meals, 4 out of 5 off us got mac cheese with the meals. Came the meals with the mac cheese. Mac cheese not creamy, oil at the bottom, not fresh just heated up. Complained, took away, said sorry and said won’t be charged for mac cheese. Half way eating the meal 45 mins had passed and we noticed window seats still empty. Asked why we were not sat there, they said not that busy so not using them tables! End of our meal manager or person in charge with blue casual suit on came across apologised for mac cheese saying its a new chef, and he did it his style. Wot bleeding style, he knew fine well and agreed it was a rotten microwaved bowl of dry mac cheese. Good excuse. Then when bill came all they could do was take money off for the mac cheese. They refused to take money of the 2 mac cheese that came with the meal, they only took off the 2 mac cheese bought as extras. That means never got a side with the 2 meals because they took the mac cheese back but charged full price for meals. Pathetic!

Nice clean restaurant not far from Hydro OVO. Excellent service, decent choice of steaks cooked to your liking. Steaks were delicious, didn’t know when we booked but it’s NO ALCOHOL just to be aware.

Very good meat! Nice and tasty also the salmon. Good service. No alcohol but good moctails. We will come back.

the main disappointment about this restaurant is that the favor certain customers and award them with larger steaks and bigger portions, mainly food bloggers/"influncers" ect. other than that the food is good but not great. its around mid tier for a Glasgow steak house and doesnt even come close to the quality of Gost or Tiffany's steakhouse.

Best steak ever. Outstanding food. Totally recommend. Staff lovely too. Will definitely be coming back

First visit... After hearing good things about the first premises.. Decor is nice .. staff nice .. clean place. Ordered.. asked about my steak... specified medium/rare...with a Starter and drinks. My Starter came .. no side plates... in weird silver martini glass thing... on trying... all I could taste was SALT... not a little... but Plenty Plenty of salt... basically inedible... so sent it back... Next came the mains...sirloin..with " fries " and sauce... Half the steak down one side was overdone... the other side was rare.... the "fries"... due to running out of chips these were the alternative... basically the cheapest frozen chips you can get... For a place that is charging atleast £40 per head... atleast get the food right.... it seems like they are happy to take your money ... but not provide any kind of service to match. I did notice that the Starter was still charged for .. despite not being eaten... I expected more from steak lounge...the let down was the food.. which I could have done better myself.... very disappointed..

We arrived early at the restaurant for our dinner! The restaurant is big so can accommodate big parties and the staff is very polite and talkative, they will make you feel very comfortable straight away! The food on the other side, is even better!! The lamb chops are “must have” , t bone and spice angus burger and chicken strips absolutely delicious!!! Thank you for filling our stomachs and for your service of course! 🤜🏽🤛🏽

I visit steak grill and lounge yesterday eith my husband and im actually disappointed with my food.. I specifically told them that I want my (sirlion) steak well done which was pinkish and that happens to me all the time which puts me off.. thats why I went there after a long time.. and one more thing i asked for is caramelised onions on my steak just sprinkle them like 3 or 4 pieces and I've told them clearly I don't want big layers or chunk of onions on my steak which they repeatedly done it again I've spent almost £80 and didn't enjoyed the meal.. very very disappointed.. over all the new place is very nice and staff is super good.. but I was a regular customer there but there steak puts me off again.. not a happy customer

One of the best tasting steak i have ever had. Tender and cooked just right with the tastiest peppercorn sauce.

I have tried this place twice and each time the food and service has been excellent.  The food is freshly cooked and the steaks were very flavoursome. One of the best steaks I have had. The Dynamite Goujons are even better than PF Chang's and Halloumi fries were very tasty. The service received was outstanding.  Highly recommend this place and I look forward to visting again soon.
