Stb Pizza in Hastings

This is the second night in a row that I ordered takeout, only for the restaurant to cancel my order without any explanation. I wasted time waiting instead of finding an alternative for dinner. I don’t understand why the restaurant accepts orders it can’t fulfill. I’m very disappointed, and after this experience, it’s hard to consider ordering here again.

Pizza box is more tasty than the pizza! Definitely quantity over quality. Hour and a half waiting for god awful food. Gotta do better guys.

The pizzas were lovely and hot, but the toppings were a bit sparse, could of had some more peppers and mushrooms.

I received a pizza which is something but it turned up Luke warm at best. Frustratingly I ordered a deep pan but was given a thin pan(but like I said at least I got a pizza. More annoying was that fact I ordered and paid for a 20 inch pizza but only received a 18 inch pizza. And to top that off they forgot my can of Fanta. Will definitely think twice before ordering from STB again. Disappointing

Where do u start , the delivery took over an hour to arrive to our address which is less than a mile away from the pizza shop .I ordered a pizza with red onion on it but got white instead .Ordered a 1 5 litre bottle of coke which was foreign and flat as a pancake with a unreadable sell by date on it and finally the food was lukewarm .Please make sure we get some kind of refund on this

We normally love the food here but this time it toke 2 and half hours to turn up after we ordered it and it didn’t have much topping on and the garlic bread was over cooked

order this at 1:27am not sure if its open google says yes all the delivery apps says yes was meant to arrive at 1:40am its is currently 2:11am tried calling to no avail will be disputing my claim, i ordered through your website i have the emails and everything it's a joke

I ordered deep pan and got thin crust which I don’t like. When I looked at the order it said 30/45 mins. As soon as I ordered it went to 45/ hour. The quality was poor and it was dry and burnt.

He refused to pick up my calls after being an hour and a half late and he refused to cop any of my food

pizza ordered was 20inches they delivered 18 inch . got pizza wrong and toppings wrong as had mushrooms on it

felt like a pizza and they had a great deal so made my order, was suppose to arrive 6pm tried calling few times no answer then time changed to 615pm still no delivery, called multiple times again sent messages and got one back it was now 635pm. 645pm still no delivery asked refund was denied called store they finally answer tell me driver just left 🙄 but didn't want the order now as disappointed. Still no refund or pizza at this time. definitely do not recommend

Ordered through their own website for my son's birthday party. 45 minutes later I called to check on order (I offered to pick it up it that would be quicker) to be told it was on its way. As we are only up the road, I called again 15 minutes later as nothing arrived. They then told me that they hadn't received an order from me as the person who gets the notifications from orders through their website is on holiday 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ Had to reorder (party of kids waiting otherwise it would have been freezer surprise) and go pick up. Food greasy and no discount offered for inconvenience. DO NOT ORDER ***Thank you for your response STB pizza but I did in fact call 3 times to resolve the issue with no apology, offer of discount or any regard tbh. Not really sure how much more I could have done as a customer? 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

apart from waiting an hour, I didn't received all my items as the mozzarella sticks were missing and my 2 pizzas with extra black olives had no olives on either of them...

The delivery was over half an hour late, which meant the pizza was just warm. Poor quality food, not great pizzas. I called twice to ask what time the order would be with us, and was told ‘few more minutes’. It took ages. The delivery driver then said he had been calling me, but I had no calls. I wouldn’t recommend at all.

fantastic pies, with standout options like the Roasted chicken and BBQ chicken. The dough is deliciously crispy, and their 28-minutes delivery is impressively quick. Overall, a really good and satisfying pizza experience. Highly recommended!

my wife's pizza was warm, with very little cheese in the stuffed crust, my pizza was luke warm, the base and crust was hard , and it had hardly any topping making it dry and hard , again very little cheese in crust which was harder to eat than the base, sorry but the pizza went straight in the bin , I considerd it awful and in edible

only bad thing I found a jalapeño on my pizza lol an didn't order them but pizza was amazing as always

Food said it would arrive 7:20, was eating to 8:45 and had to call them. It eventually arrived but the pizza were not the ones were ordered. Dissapointed…

NEVER USING AGAIN! We have used STB for years but have found it declining over the last year or so. Delivery has been late on many occasions and we would always give them 'one more chance'.... until now. Food was an hour late, we phoned numerous times to be told the delivery driver was lost. Not good enough!

lasagne tasted like a frozen ready meal, chips were okay and hot enough but kebab tasted stale.

got 2 pizzas 1 was just a margarita which was just burnt with the wrong sauce for the base and the second pizza was okay but could of done with more sauce

TERRIBLE. Took two hours to deliver a meat pizza instead of the vegetarian one I ordered. Also delivered garlic bread and wedges instead of chips. Disgusting food. AVOID.

We always get pizza from here and the pizza itself is always nice. But the last 4 times its aways been delivered later than stated but marked as delivered so it looks like its on time, then I chase up with the shop and they say its on the way and it doesnt arrive for at least another 20 mins!! when ordering it states delivered within 30 minutes, currently 1.5 hrs since I ordered 🤦‍♀️ So much for eating it before the Euro final!!

Had food poisoning since I had the pizza.

I actually think this was the worst takeaway I’ve ever ordered. The delivery told me it was delivered three times with each time I had to call the restaurant, then after an hour of being late, the pizza was rubbery and poor quality. So much for their comment about being the best in town. Never again ! Don’t waste your money.

Delivery was an hour late. Then got handed the wrong order. Then my order is given to me and the pizza is all over the box. Not impressed, usually like STB.

Food was over an hour later than stated. The vegetarian pizza had been reheated, as evidenced by the melted sauce packet it the box. The "large" chips was a small box of chips and the garlic bread was in the same box as the chicken making it inedible to the non meat eater. Id love to know how a 20" pizza fits in an "18 box. And if that's the "extra" pepperoni (3 pieces per slice) I dread to think what the standard pepperoni is like! Absolutely furious and disappointed with the food and the service.

Ordered via just eat. Was informed twice food was on its way when it wasn't and when I rang to find out about second delay were told no food was on its way as they had no driver.

Waited over an hour past the stated delivery time, had absolutely been reheated and was disgusting. Absolutely furious and wish I had read the other reviews before ordering!

Incredibley DISAPPOINTED! 40 mins late, barely any veg on the vegetarian pizza and a flavourless tikka masala pizza. Not only that they were cold and tasted stale!! Won’t be buying from them again!!

Alright I suppose, as long as you aren't bothered what you actually get. Some pizza toppings missing, and probably difficult to fit what is supposed to be a 20" pizza in an 18" pizza box. Onion rings missing, replaced with fries. Two drinks turned up but definitely not the ones I ordered. Only seem to have garlic and herb dip. However it's hot and edible.

STB Pizza never disappoints! The crust is perfectly crispy, toppings are fresh generous, & the flavors are spot on. Delivery was prompt & courteous. Highly recommend for🫡 a delightful and hassle-free pizza experience!

Amaizing pizza with doner. We made a littlel trip in Hastings Beach and we decided to eat before going home. The pizza was so tasty, Perfect for online order, famillies and couples or friends! I'm not quite satisfied with the delivery time.

My uncle is a local in hastings and has talked about this pizza place many times. When I went to visit him, I was finally able to try it. I enjoyed that it was a thinner dough and had light sauce. Pizza is my favorite food and the young man in shop somehow managed to make it the perfect middle. I highly recommend them here!

the food was cold and this isn't the first time that my order has been late and cold food, I will not be ordering again and I will tell my friends not to order either this has gone from one of the best pizza places in to the worst on town in a few orders it's a shame

Ordered deep pan pizza, got thin & crispy pizza, toppings are scarce and with extra bits of veg, which didn’t go down well with my picky youngest child. Chicken doner was a dry, rough experience, think I’ll make toast next time. Driver was miserable as sin but that wasn’t STB Pizza’s fault.

Don’t order the stuff mushrooms you only get 4 small ones for £5 🤣 hardly any toppings on the pizzas, not worth the buy 1 get 1 free - avoid.

Absolutely awful. Dry kebab meat onions are stale coleslaw is water.

I ordered our dinner and it didn’t arrive for 2 hrs. When it did arrive it was warm at best and my deep pan pizza was a thin crust. I applied for some sort of discount but the restaurant this morning said to yourselves I was given a free item form the menu which we was not. Very disappointing and if I had known delivery was going to be so late I would have driven and collected.

Ordered at 6.15, told it’d be delivered by 7.20, then 7.45 then when a driver is available which might be around 15 minutes, food was cooked at 7.15 as confirmed by chef and arrived at 8.35!! The cheese looked like it’d gone cold and heated and set again. Wouldn’t give a refund, ridiculous

40 minutes late and the pizza was burnt fuming

We had two pizzas both had hardly eny toppings and both brunt. Had a xl mixed donna that looked like a kids meal a very poor salad never asked for souce but got garlic so never got eaten phoned to complain but they said there's nothing they can do

Food was pretty good, was very late the delivery time was edited twice! Delivery driver was extremely rude, didn’t get off his phone call and didn’t even apologise for the extremely late delivery

We waited 2 hours for our food to be delivered, we rang them and they said it was on its way, still took 45 minutes for it to come even when they said it was on the way. When it came our food was cold, our cheesecake was frozen, the chicken was dry and our chips were stale. Absolutely disgusting food, never to be ordered from there again, the waiting time was absolutely appalling, cannot believe we payed £45.00 for this ‘food’, wouldn’t even let my dog eat it. Disgusting.

Always order from STB - fresh, crisp, delicious bread base, equally fresh, good quality toppings.

The kids meal had no chips with the burger. The kebab was over cooked. The chicken strip wraps has chicken donner instead of chicken strips. Not happy

use to be good pizza dough and lots of topping now however apaulingly poor quality base and so stingy with topping overall waste of money, regretting ordering and it's more money for less quality won't be ordering again

The best pizza I have ever had! The crust is thin and crispy, and the toppings are feel fresh. I especially love the pepperoni and STB special pizza. The staff is also very friendly overphone. Highly recommend!

Working in the area and Fort I'd try this place,pizza n chicken wings. Got a very bad belly the next day food wasn't good. Next Time im in the area I'd go hungry instead of going back

Got a buy one get one free and they were incorrect. Once I had rang. They sorted it out straight away and replaced them with no fuss.

order wasn't exactly as I ordered and one part was missing. When I phoned shop they said they hadn't sent me an order on reading out order and number they changed their mind but said they had put the missing amount in, maybe the delivery driver ate it on the way.

STB (Simply the best) sould be renamed STW (sipmply the worst). Not only was my order 36 minutes late, it was also very over cooked (burnt) and stone cold by the time it eventually arrived. Shame really, as they wear once one of the best in the area. But alas, they've now slumped right down to the worst over the past 4 years or so.

I ordered online and when I went to receive it I saw one yungster fast one runs step with smiley face and Handling nicely. The pizza was well done. He skipped his name when I asked. overall okey.

Don’t know what’s happened to this place, used to be awesome but it’s got to be the worst place in town now. Don’t waste your money on them, drivers are arrogant and rude, blamed me because he couldn’t find my flat (even though I pinpointed it on the map and gave instructions on where to park when I ordered) food was disgusting and cold. Placed an order at 16:30, finally received at 18:50.. Cold... Customer service was awful. The staff kept telling us it's on it's way or they were sending a "fresh one" and overall weren't helpful. Over a number of months this isn't the first time this has happened and luckily this time it did not arrive burnt just freezing. There are better places in Hastings to get pizza, spend your money elsewhere.

lied about the order being on its way and changed the status of the order to delivered 3 minutes after the latest delivery time
