If you like eating old boots and cold meat and warm salad this ones for you! Absolutely disgusting!!

extremely disappointed with stavros kebab. I had placed an order almost 2 hours before it had arrived, I called the store when it got past the latest delivery time and they had said they'd called multiple times and that they had left the food outside. no missed calls and no food outside my house. we had eventually got the food and it looked like it had been sitting around for ages, the boxes had holes in them (from clearly being in the box too long plus the heat), I had also ordered cheesy chips that had little to no cheese on them whatsoever. staff are extremely rude and had not been arsed about wether we had got our food never mind if it was in good condition or not. Will NOT be ordering again.

Ordered 2 kebabs with everything when I got home the meat was dry and crisp around the edges seemed to me that the meet had been in the hot pot for sometime will not be returning to Stavros takeaway complete waste of money.

Dont order threw their website, they don’t get your order paypal take your money, basically stavros are forcing us to use the likes of just eats…. I don’t want to keep paying into the big delivery company’s. been going to stavros for decades but wont be using any more!

Orded chicken meat and chips with salad as I cannot eat Pitta because of wheat intolerances, arrived with pitta bread. 2nd time I've had this conversation with this Stavros establishment for 5 mins before hand, As soon as the food arrived I phoned up and specifically told the woman that she got it wrong and I have half a box of bread I cannot eat! then she starts argueing that I was in the wrong! Apparently I need to say no pitta,Wtf!I thought I was quite specific when I say...DONNA MEAT AND CHIPS WITH SALAD. manager was called back after the woman abruptly hung up on me and started shouting! Manager instructed us to just take the bread out. Unbelievable, What kind of establishment is this? Over priced and shirty staff? No rectification took place...they couldnt care less, as long as these fools have your dosh. this is contaminated food for me! another box in the bin! Thieves!

I've been ordering food from Stavros for years but I won't be back after what they served me tonight. Poor quality, greasy, tasteless, cold and a very small portion.

After looking at the menu on the table and deciding what we wanted to eat, they told us only food from the takeaway menu was being served. We ordered, and sure enough the food from the takeaway menu was served to us in plastic boxes! They charge extra for plates! The food itself was just about good enough to be mediocre. Would not recommend. Certainly will not be going back!

I've had the worst ever kebabs from Stavros when they used to be in the van. Tried them again now they're in the new shop and thought I'd have a burger as didn't want to risk a kebab. Got overcharged and was told the price on the menu is wrong and was overcharged over the top of the supposed wrong price. So £9 for a burger and onion rings when the same thing in my local kebab shop is £6.40 and better quality.

I have been eating Stavros (Nickname Davros!) since I was a kid & they have never let me down. They have a few varieties of items which offer a great standard for the facilities & space they have. However, where they really shine is in their Donner Meat which is the best! I tried a Lamb Donner in Wales once, & it was ghastly! Full of bone, & was inconsistent slices. This chef at Davros knows the score & everything is really tasty & yes.. greasy! That's what I'm looking for though! Lamb is a tender fatty meat; it's a sign of good cut variety. Just like in sausage meat. And with the perfect amount of spices! I don't get people who are complaining about a Donner or burger being "greasy" when there's plenty of juice in these meaty items! Yum I say! lol Fries are the bomb too man. Just like Roller City fries in the [bad!] old days! The Delivery Driver should also get a heads up! He has special powers man; born with the directional instincts of a homing pigeon, he got x-ray vision, he can travel through time, & even fills in for Santa Claus when things get tough!! One of the best turkish restaurants around . Not just the normal kebabs but other mouthwatering dishes as well. Excellent service by a knowledgeable waiter who recommended some lovely food

We are a regular here but tonight was just awful. Ordered a pizza for my partner, chicken nuggets and chips for myself with a side of onion rings. Chips were cold on arrival and clearly had been cooked some time ago, onion rings were soggy and disgusting. The nuggets were so overcooked they were almost rock hard. Don't think i will agree to another order from here if suggested again.

I regularly order from here from justeat and despite what the other reviews have said about their delivery service, my experience was almost perfect. They bring the food in roughly 20 minutes which is probably the quickest food delivery I've ever known. My only small problem is that the containers that the food is delivered in always stick together, but apart from that it's basically perfect. I have also been straight to their van to order food, and my experience is much the same, but I feel like I should point out that there are no tables outside it, which is not a problem for me as I wouldn't really want to eat my food outside of a van, but just something to keep in mind. Overall a great little place for a quick, tasty, reasonably priced meal.

I ordered two kebabs from here. One a plain doner with burger sauce and then I asked for chicken and salad. I then got told that this would be charged as a normal kebab which was fine and I specified that I wanted chilli and mayo (at this point I had told them directly what I wanted and there had been no need for her to ask me) When the order came the chicken was plain with the sauce and no pitta as requested (but also no salad). I then proceeded to call and explain this, where I was greeted with a lady who full on argued with me. She said that’s why they read the order back to us so we can hear. I said that no salad was mentioned from her about my kebab so I assumed it came with it. She continued to argue and when I asked if they could bring me some, she outright said no and then continued to defend herself in a quite rude manner. This was clearly an error on both our parts - me assuming you got salad and her not mentioning it to me - so I think that I should have been spoken to in a more friendly and apologetic way. Extremely disappointed as always had good service before now and never had an issue.

I am an often customer to Stavros. The food is nice and prices reasonable. However avoid the delivery service. I once waited two hours for a halloumi wrap. And then the driver got rude. Unacceptable.

Used them for a few years by far the best kebab in rochford. Open late, delivery, decent portions. Recomended to all a+++++

What you see is what you get and this has made me a frequent visitor. You can park outside briefly, and the service is quick. Huge range of kebabs, pizzas and burgers. Always well cooked.

Stavros has the nicest softest baps I've ever had the pleasure of getting my hands round. After being presented with such an eyeful I couldn't wait to stuff them in my eagerly awaiting mouth. I even dribbled down my trousers

We use the delivery option mostly, its always fast , fresh and the staff delivering are extremely friendly. Whenever we have actually visited, the food is always hot, and salad fillings fresh. Great price, best Kebab in area.

A brilliant established fast food place ..serving tasty (not strictly healthy) food ..cooked fresh and delivered fast and late into the evening at weekends...an extensive menu..something for everyones palate and budget.

Stavros is so convenient when returning home after a late night out. The guys are so friendly and the food is delicious (and cheap!)

Having heard rave reviews about this place we thought we would give it a go. My husband had the Shish and was very pleased. I usually have the chicken but I found it wasn't as tasty as I am used to. My husband went there on a Saturday evening and did not have to wait long. The salad was not crisp enough for me. I found it quite soggy.

Called at 9.50pm told 45 minute wait but arrived at 10.10! Food was hit and well cooked and of course tasty. Thank you stavros xx

We have had many deliveries from Stavros but never again. The food took ages and was cold and had some extras we didnt order and should not have been there

Decent little takeaway this. Me and my girlfriend became a bit addicted recently. Good kebabs, lovely wraps. Very fast delivery as well.

ive alway enjoyed a takeaway burger and cheese topped garlic bread from Stavros, my husband enjoys their kebabs. Tasty food and quick efficient service.

I think the fact that it has been around for so many years is testament in itself. Friendly staff and good cheap take away food of a late night.

Great place to pick up a cheap and easy take away, i recommend the chicken kebabs, as they are really amazing. They also do a fine pizza for a tenner, that i defy anyone to eat the whole thing! its massive. I've been going there for years and the staff are always friendly (even if sometimes the locals are not)

Great fast food from here. I visited yesterday evening for a delicious chicken kebab. They have a 5 for Scores on the Doors too! Plenty of other food options available on the menu.

What can I say, perfect for a takeaway. Massive choice, something for everyone and great if you are on a budget. I think they also deliver locally

If you dont fancy a chinese etc than try stav's. Quick service reliable quality and well priced particular favs are standard doner or xxl if you can manage it. Also try the chicken.
