Soy de fuera de la zona y pasar el fin de semana en Brighton con mi novio. Me recomendaron ir aquí para el brunch y no me decepcionó! Comida y servicio 10 / 10 y sin duda volveré en mi próxima visita.

Me encantó un brunch y esto estaba allí con uno de los mejores que hemos tenido. Gran lugar / personal / menú y café. Delicioso aguacate triturado con verde marchito / granada y le agregué salchicha y huevo. Mi otra mitad tenía inglés completo y disfrutamos de cada bocado - perfectamente cocinado con pensamiento y amor. ¡Reserva ya que es popular y con razón!

Investigamos el mejor desayuno en Brighton y este vino muy recomendable. No decepcionó. Encantador saludo en la puerta y todo alrededor de un gran servicio. Pedí inglés completo sin huevos y mi marido tenía desayuno vegano - La comida llegó rápidamente y era absolutamente delicioso - todos los artículos eran de primera calidad. Café era genial también - recomiendo encarecidamente

Este lugar es maravilloso, el brunch era tan, tan sabroso, huevos escalfados absolutamente perfecto, el té caliente y jugo de naranja era divino! 10 / 10 GRACIAS!

Altas expectativas, eso resultó ser solo una experiencia "bien". El personal era realmente genial y amable - brillante. Sin embargo, las cosas pequeñas pronto se suman; nuestros vasos de agua estaban sucios para empezar (por lo que recogimos algunos frescos) , nuestra mesa estaba pegajosa (se había limpiado, pero tal vez no se limpió correctamente? ) , y los inodoros estaban un poco desatendidos también - (grifos rotos que estaban pegados de nuevo! ) simplemente se sentía un poco grotty con la decoración cansada en los inodoros del sótano. De todos modos, estaba muy ocupado y es genial ver negocios locales haciéndolo bien. No estoy a la altura de la publicidad para nosotros. Lo siento, no volveremos.

Tuvimos un encantador desayuno tardío aquí como lo recomendó nuestro hotel cuando el chef no estaba bien. Una gran recomendación, comida encantadora y personal amable y acogedor.

Reservamos un brunch entre semana a media mañana para una familia con dos adolescentes. Uno de los mejores desayunos ingleses completos que hemos tenido, excelentes pasteles y muy buen té helado casero. Muy recomendable.

Un lugar fabuloso para el brunch. Gran ambiente y un gran menú para elegir, incluyendo opciones veganas. El café es excelente y el personal es muy acogedor. El consejo es reservar con antelación para evitar decepciones.

Excellent service, coffee and breakfast! Served by a young man, who appeared to be on his own first thing and also had a chef not able to work. Changed the menu y last minute, and provided a great service! We went with this pancakes which was a great choice and would recommend.

The breakfast was without doubt, one of the best I have ever had. Friendly, welcoming service in a quiet street just off the beautiful Queens Park. Definitely worth a deour if you happen to be in the area.

Didn’t get to eat the food because got bored of waiting for the work shy owner to seat us and then serve us. Not the first time but will be the last time. Do some work rather than letting your staff run around

Had a day out in Brighton and walked past many cafes from the Train station to Starfish & Coffee… probably a 20-25 minute walk. Was so worth it for the warm welcome and comic entertainment from the friendly staff. We had the most Gorgeous chai and Tumeric lattes and the scrummiest mushroom eggs Benedict ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The only room for improvement would be an update to the w/c facilities then you’d be ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great food, but expensive. I heard the owner being pretty sarcastic to someone who hadn’t seen the ‘no laptops’ sign. Not sure why they don’t allow laptops on weekdays mornings? It’s always mostly empty when I pass it on my way back from school drop off to work from home. I’d love to have somewhere to go to have a coffee and work for an hour for a change of scene. It definitely could feel more welcoming all round. I’ll visit again for a weekend brunch, but probably only once or twice a year.

This is our second visit and it was as good as I remembered. I had the mushroom hash ,my husband had the sweetcorn fritter special and it was all delicious. The mushroom hash was inventive and exceptionally tasty. It was absolutely packed (they had a weekend rush on a Tuesday),they also had Wi-Fi problems, however none of these issues impacted the customers and their service was lovely and so friendly. We had had a breakfast the day before ,that cost more ,wasn’t as pleasant on the pallet and had a 10% service charge slapped on it. Will definitely be on our favourite breakfast place list from now on.

Father’s Day brunch glad we booked as very busy. All had different dishes all were delicious. Great attentive service and although it was full the food arrived together. Full English, Veggie breakfast and a Chorizo hash.

Came for a midweek birthday brunch having googled best brunch venues in Brighton. All the food was fabulous including mine (vegan) and beautifully presented. Staff are very helpful, friendly and attentive and venue is a nicely designed and a lovely environment to be in. Will definitely be going again.

We are visiting from Canada. Not only was our breakfast like art, it was fresh and delicious! This restaurant puts their heart into the food and you can taste it! The coffee was delicious too! We will be back before we leave for sure!

Lovely place and food is great, staff accommodated our request to move table in order for our dog not to trip people up. However their hands are tied with regard to menu swaps. One of our party is allergic to avocado and asked to switch for halloumi but could only do this if she paid the extra £3.50 for the portion of halloumi. The server said she would remove the charge from the bill but did not and it felt as though we were inconveniencing them hugely but an allergy cannot be helped and they did not offer to take £3.50 off the bill for skipping the avocado, which is the cost of a portion of avocado. The server stated the owner doesn’t let them which did not seem very inclusive where allergies are concerned.

Breakfast at Starfish & Coffee is always on the top of the list of things to do when visiting Brighton. The food is always fresh and the menu is so varied that there is something for everyone. The service is spot on with wonderful, attentive staff. As Prince said : "why should you wait any longer" - go and visit for yourself!

incredibly slow, over priced and pretentious. Eggs benedict served on burnt toast that was almost impossible to cut and chewy bacon. Although i did not have the english breakfast am always puzzled why beans are put into a separate dish. Cetainly wouldnt go again

Después de revisar sus reseñas, estaba emocionado de probar su desayuno vegano, pero debo admitir que estaba muy decepcionado.El tofu tenía la textura del serrín y no tenía ningún sabor. Con el precio también siento que tienes que ofrecer más sabor y comida en el plato. Me fui sintiendo que lo mejor del plato eran los frijoles y eso es decepcionante para un lugar que ha ganado premios.

Mi esposo y yo visitamos a mi hijo y su familia y nos llevaron a Starfish and Coffee cerca del parque para el desayuno, ya que este es un lugar favorito de ellos. Todos tuvimos el desayuno inglés completo, que era excelente al igual que los cafés. Para nosotros, los dos son un poco caros a las 11 por cabeza, pero supongo que estos son los precios de Brighton. Vivimos en Boston Lincolnshire mucho más barato. Sin duda lo recomendaría a los viajeros. Servicio al cliente excelente y lugar amigable para perros.

We visited the Starfish Cafe for breakfast and it was well worth the walk from the centre of Brighton. Both the vegetarian breakfast with halloumi and scrambled tofu and the avocado on toast with smoked salmon and poached eggs were delicious and perfectly cooked. Both meals were beautifully presented with modern flair.The decor and atmosphere in the cafe is refined and welcoming and the owner is knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating.We'd also recommend trying the excellent locally sourced coffee and buying some to take away. It's also the perfect place for admiring the steady parade of four-legged friends en route to the nearby park for their walkies!
