Starbucks Stafford - Greengate Street in Stafford

Appalling £6+ for two cups of milky hot water. I requested two regular americanos with ONE hot milk on the side. I received two huge mugs of hot, milky water but was far too short of time to request a refund. Even a brief request about my order was met by two faces with blank stares. A never to be repeated experience.

Amazing service and drinks! Dan and Amy were lovely ! Highly recommend! My two drinks were lovely and even recommended for my friends.

I think their name was Daniel? I wanted to try something new, and said i normally have a decaff soy vanilla latte, and i told the server this, they were so helpful, they asked if i was vegan, and i said yes, and before i even expressed my concerns about the "honey hazelnut latte" they checked the ingredients and told me that it was a flavouring, and not real honey! They didnt make my veganism feel like a burnden, and they were genuinely excited to help me find something new to try. I was left with a warm feeling, i felt welcomed and really happy about myself because of how i was treated :) Thank you for this experience.

Disgusting that they are open on this day. Shame on you. Profits more important than paying respect?

Popped into the shop and saw the new banana cold drink, ordered two regular and one with oat milk. One drink was placed on the counter and someone else took it! The other two were put on the counter and looked nothing like the poster, they looked ‘curdled’. When I took them back and told the barista he said “all of the ingredients are in it” I explained it didn’t look any thing like the poster and he replied “it is in the small print on the poster , that they sometimes don’t turn out correctly. I refused the drinks and asked for a refund. When I went to the counter with my bank card, one of the servers said she couldn’t do the refund, when I questioned this , a member of staff not on duty told me, very rudely to stop shouting at them, now I’m slightly deaf and didn’t hear the server first time. The barista then came over and gave me the refund. I have to say, I will not be returning to this shop. Not only was the drink poor, but members of staff, apparently not working are very rude. Poor show altogether in my opinion.

I kind of live in Starbucks due to how frequently I tend to visit. I go to many locations of the chain on my travels about during the week but Starbucks Stafford remains my firm favourite. Every member of staff is friendly and welcoming and despite my needy coffee requests, they simply make my drink just how I like it and continue to offer superb customer service. This isn’t always the case, sadly Starbucks do not seem to have a uniform set standard for customer service, so at some locations the staff come across as so inconvenienced at taking your order that they leave you feeling like you’ve just wandered into their house and asked them to put their own kettle on! So hats off to Stafford Greengate Street.....thanks for making fabulous coffee with a smile!!

I went in to my local Starbucks today and was met by two very rude employees, the woman taken my order had me shout my order three times and then proceeded to roll her eyes at me, I then waited for my drink at the end and got told off by a young woman with brown hair about not waiting in the correct space, I was a couple inches off the exact sticker, in order to let others past who had their drinks first, I felt humiliated and had three individuals in the branch look at me and shake their head at the action of this employee, left feeling very humiliated and silly and I will not be giving my business to them again for the sheer rudeness of these two young individuals! Don’t work in customer service if you can’t be a decent human being with a bit of decorum!!!

Not a fan of starbucks stafford town slow service, no table sanitiser. And drinks don't taste has good has other stores

Coffee quality much worse than expected, tasted like pure water with milk, if you can use one by B&Q.

I’m a huge starbucks fan and have been to many branches across the country in my time, and let me tell you, i’ve never met a starbucks staff member as friendly as Daniel! Always takes extra care to make sure my order and name are right (especially prominent as I have an awkward name!) and generally just always upbeat and chatty, making every customer feel special and welcome. I know the difficulty of working in service and I can’t imagine the patience it takes for him to stay so kind all the time. Deserves an award imo. Go Daniel!

Went in today for a coffee and was pleased to see that they could do a flat white and it was of a high standard. The coffee shop was busy but. It overtly so my husband had a blueberry muffin and he said that was good too.

Our favourite Starbucks in Staffordshire. Always tend to pay it a visit whilst shopping in Stafford - our elderly mother loves it. Food and drinks are always of an excellent standard and to our liking. Always would recommend to visit to Starbucks Stafford.

does what it says on the shop title. Nothing problematic, lots of plug sockets but not as comfortable after the recent refurb and the staff not as welcoming that a year ago, now functiona, no service problems, but do not seem as genuinely warm as previous..

First time that I have been into this Starbucks since it’s been done up and it is much better. It looks fresh, clean and is a lovely atmosphere. I spent a while here doing some work and felt so welcomed; I will be going back here in the future for sure.

Great customer service and very enjoyable place to have a coffee. The staff are very friendly and Lauren, Dan and Paul really get to know their customers. Well done guys!!

I usually visit this particular Starbucks in Stafford town centre and have no issues, however on this one occasion (29/12/18) (17:00/17:30).myself and family recived appalling customer service, the attitude of the baristas was shocking to say the least, so much so it’s almost made me not want to return,I don’t believe these two particular staff members are appropriate to be serving your customers whilst representing your organisations brand. Maybe some additional training might be useful. It’s a good job I ordered I frappachino because the way in which my drink was passed to me could have caused damage. Should I return to this Starbucks I do hope I wouldn’t be faced with the same two staff members working this particular shift.

Served by a beautiful tall well spoken woman. It’s a lovely place to sit drink and snack in peace. Cheaper than Costa. The Chai lattes are superb! They got the mix just perfect! Shame they don’t sell the mugs they use in the shop they are beautiful!! Keep up the good work. Well run and with a calm atmosphere.

Visited on 22/07/18 for a lunch, hot drinks were red hot, peppered beef bagel and fruit bread is the best. Recently refurbished. Great staff. It is best Starbucks by far. Oh yes, we will return.

Absolutely love, LOVE the vegan chocolate raspberry cake. It looked good but I wasn’t expecting much. It was so chocolaty and delicious! I got another one for tomorrow. I can’t believe something vegan is so sweet, and delicious. Bravo Starbucks, please do not take this off the menu. ❤️❤️❤️

I walked out after a ten minute wait to be served in a near empty shop. One member of staff on who couldn't cope with sandwich orders and drinks despite there only being a handful of people in. My advice go to one of their competitors if you actually want serving.

Me and a friend went in today to grab a coffee whilst we waited for the car to be finished and whilst all of the staff were great, Daniel on the till I have to say really was absolutely fantastic! He made a great reccomendation for my friends drink which ended tasting great and showed a brilliant knowledge of coffee, so much so that I ended up buying a bag!! I would certainly recommend this Starbucks and their staff!!

After previous experience decided to try Starbucks again however there does not seem to be any great improvement. Tables were not cleared however staff were friendly. Not very good value for money especially milk £1:90 in relation to £0.75 at Marks and Spencer. Visited mid afternoon so a lot of the cakes and Sandwiches had sold out.

I love this Store. You get to know the staff, they are all so friendly and lovely. It's like Stafford's Central Perk or Cheers.

Terrible, menu is too small, isn't good for ma disability innit couldn't fit through da door man. Pumpkin spice got dat pum innit but tastes like pum juice. good good would highly recommend to my fellow rodmens. peace out. fam

We are regular visitors and really enjoy coffee/ tea and especially fruit bread. We call in, sit in a window seat and catch up on emails....

It's not laid out the best so there's not much seating and not much room for a pushchair to move around the furniture as they have tried to cram so much in in a tiny space. However the bacon rolls are amazing!!

Especially the location is just wonderful and super duper good. Staff is just amazing and if you're confused so many coffees, do not hesitate to ask a help from staff as that's what I did it initially.

every thurs me and my friend go for coffee before we do our shopping we usually have a tall skinny latte which as far as we are concerned is superb serve by wonderful polite staff who have got time for you even if they are busy

Nothing is too much for the staff at this Starbucks. They provide excellent customer service and always provide a warm welcome.

I'm a regular at this place...most weeks I sit with a fruit toast, a cup of filter, sit in the window seat and watch the world wander by.

Called in here for a drink, and something to eat. The food was good, the staff were polite, and helpful. The shop was clean,and a nice relaxing place to be.

I have never really been a big fan of Starbucks, in the world of coffee shops Starbucks is very vanilla and also expensive. It's a nice place to go in to if you just went a relaxing coffee but I've never been a Starbucks fan.

It was pretty standard starbucks. Decent drink and cake. One of the waitresses got a little irate on how we ordered which was surprising. But it was OK.

Solo breakfast to start the day. Lovely staff and quick service. Great porridge, great coffee and wifi! Good to go.

Typical starbucks as far as drinks and decor, however, the baristas were SO amazing! We went in looking for a different drink, and they helped create a super yummy frappachino/smoothie style drink - perfect for the hot day. We were in Stafford a week, and went back four times! They recognized us each time ;)

I've frequented Starbucks restaurants all over the world. This one is near the bottom. While the staff are very friendly and seem to really enjoy their work, the quality of their barista skills is poor. I have witnessed many customers come back as they have been given the wrong drink. Today, for instance, a man ordered a Venti Latte and was given a Grande Cappuccino -- no mix up, his name was on the cup. The place (including the loos) could do with a massive revamp and clean. Really not up to scratch, I would expect more from Starbucks.

Whilst I'm a big Starbucks fan this isn't one of the best. The coffee and service are ok, but not one of the cleanest and tidiest I've been in.

Good expresso! Quick pick me up and ready to go, not too busy and served with a smile! Didn't take long to be served like other starbucks I've been to! Nice and clean no sticky tables or floors!

My local coffee shop. I visit nearly every day to be honest! Very friendly, attentive and efficient staff. Coffee always made as requested and arrives quickly. Could really do with a refurb as very tired decor that has gone a bit shabby. Won't stop me visiting regularly but would really improve the experience if it was improved. It's not as if Starbucks are short of a few quid!

This coffee house is now showing signs of wear and tear. As it is always busy, I feel that Starbucks could afford to carry out some well needed renovations to bring it back to the condition it originally was.

Always go to Starbucks when I need a coffee fix! This place is always good for a coffee and a small bite to eat. Sevice is good and staff are friendly. You have to time it right to get a seat though, it gets really busy!!

I object to having to stir my coffee with a wooden stick !! For goodness sake get some plastic spoons.Lolly sticks are offensive when you have paid for a drink.Real spoons please and dump the wooden sticks.

The Starbucks in Stafford is in the main shopping area and next to Martin Street.

We've been here many many many times and will continue to. Love the fruit bread and the earl grey tea. Only down side is that often the place could do with a Hoover to clear up some of the crumbs and general food debris.

Decided to give one of the main coffee chains a visit. The barista was very courteous and was able to provide information on the types of drinks available with ease however, the cafe and seating area was very messy with the majority of empty tables being dirty and not cleared from previous customers. This required us to make room for ourselves by clearing the table which still had coffee, crumbs and empty sachets from the previous customers. Not what was expected from my first visit to a main high street provider very disappointing.

The best Starbucks coffee shop that I have EVER visited! Which says a lot as I enjoy my daily caffeine fix. The shop is always tidy and the manager is always a good laugh and always smiling! Thank You

My fiancé and I haven't been to this Starbucks for a while - we prefer Costa as a general rule however thought we would give it a go today. Lady behind counter was extremely rude - no please or thank you. No offer of a receipt after I'd payed on card. No customer interaction just a screamed name to collect our drinks without a thank you. We will stick to costa in future!

Gone here several times on lunch break. Always consistent and good like any other Starbucks. Would recommend

Great service; friendly, helpful, personal. Great range of fresh pastries and always service with a smile. Nice salads too. Everything is clean and tidy and loos are immaculate.

Had to wait around for a while for a table to fit four of us on, a ok place to go for a drink.... if you go early there is a good selection of food to choose from however later in the day they didnt have much to choose from ...

What can I say about Starbucks, it's a known standard, the tea is good, the fruit toast is excellent.

This restaurant is what makes Starbucks great. On a freezing day in a strange town, I can receive great service with a welcoming smile, a helpful attitude and a wonderful warm drink. Starbucks teams can be trusted, thanks to Pete and the other partners at Stafford, Greengate for their wonderful service.

I speak very highly of this Coffee Bar in all respects. A varied choice of coffees, tea and soft drinks: with a reasonable choice of food. But the staff are extremely helpful, informative and polite which make this place one of the best. On the main street too.

Good for coffee and cake and some quick sandwiches and cakes. Ducked in here recently and had gluten free cake. If you are coeliac ignore the gluten free brownie on the counter and ask for a fresh individually wrapped one. Staff are very happy to accommodate you

This Starbucks offers a range of good coffee but has the best frappachino in town. Good choice of cakes but not the best sandwiches

Enjoyed quick professional service when I dropped in with a colleage today. My first visit to a Starbucks in fact.

We do like the coffees served at Starbucks as a brand but this review mainly covers the facilities. This store needs a good deep clean and some refurbishment of floors and furnishings. Grubby coffee shop and dirty tables. Takes too long to clear the dirty cups and plates away.

I stopped in for an iced latte and wanted a cake for my sister to go with her skinny latte ! Unfortunately the cake choice was based largely around muffins and cookies, a bit more variety would be welcomed. I had a lovely soya milk iced latte and a snack so was happy. The staff were very friendly and efficient and I left smiling so thank you very much.

Starbucks is a brand so I can only really comment on the continuity of excellence which ahs been present on every visit to the branch in Stafford. Pleasent staff and the normal yummy food makes a great visit.

Out for lunch with my husband as Starbucks usually a favourite of ours. Very disappointing as the cafe has gone down hill. No ambience, Dirty tables, the whole place felt shabby and grubby, no soap in the toilets and rubbish hand drier. Food not great either. Even more disappointing as this was a treat from friends who had very kindly given us a gift voucher. Will stick to independent coffee houses from now on.

I love the comfy seats in either corner, can get busy but that is because they do the best lattes!! I would like a selection of vegan cakes but am quite happy with the fruit pot!

I drink a lot of coffee, from many different places. If you want a coffee in Stafford then Starbucks is the place to go. In both 2012 and 2013 they won the Pride in Stafford award for Best Coffee Shop, that category no longer exists (sour grapes I feel on the part of Stafford's independent businesses).

Did not like arriving to sit outside when table was filthy. Cups and plates were left as was a full ashtray. Having come back from Spain, the waiters ensure that once a customer has left, the table is cleaned straightaway

Not a lover of starbucks coffee. Having tried their brand around the world it does not impress. Costa and Nero brands are much better.

Grubby, overpriced, can rarely get a seat and when you do it's not very clean. Not the staff's fault, just need more of them. Horrible coffee:(

We find the coffee house way too busy, the coffee is good, and the service is fair, but you always struggle to find a seat. The interior is a little warn and could really do with a good update.

Whenever I'm in Stafford we got to have a coffee at Starbucks,as Dutch we are used to good strong coffee and Starbucks ticks every box,the atmosphere is right,even comfortable seats available.

The usual Starbucks experience in a cramped tired atmosphere. Not top of the range service or well resourced. The distant customer service in such a warm town is disappointing. The sofas were torn and worn.

They should do it all year round and not just at Christmas time! I have looked everywhere to try and get some but no joy :-(
