Starbucks - Culverhouse Cross in The Vale of Glamorgan

We were served by kaitlynne who was an absolute pleasure! Her customer service skills were outstanding and she was very helpful. Our drinks were made to perfection and exactly how we ordered them. Don’t get this often

Came in today tried a new drink it was really nice and everyone was so friendly the customer service was amazing and the food was great !

Dirty tables, staff too busy chatting to people hanging around the counter, staff member taking order had never heard of an iced tea, despite peach iced tea being on the menu… Saw another customer request table to be cleaned, as all empty tables dirty. Staff member proceeded to clean that table, and left all other five tables piled with dirty cups.. counter wasn’t busy, nor was the drive thru… Poorly run

I like visiting this Starbucks because it’s nice and light. I was served by a lovely and bubbly girl called Sophia, who was very friendly and smiley. When I ordered my drink she asked if I wanted any pastries or food to go with my drink, which I thought was lovely as it was lunchtime so I did grab a light bite which was delicious. She took time to talk me through the menu and food options. Drink was made very nicely, and I ended up going for her recommendation of the new toasted vanilla. Staff are always very friendly and nice, and store is very clean. Will definitely be back soon! Thank you Sophia, you are a credit to the store!

Waited 10mins to be served .. no one else waiting. Placed my order only to be told after the manager who took the order we don’t take cash !!! Not once did she say it’s card only and no signs anywhere in the shop !! Apparently there not allowed to say or advise you on entry it’s card only !! Costa is far better and have much better trained staff

This was the last time we'll use this place. Walked in at 10.48am, store very quiet no queue at til, one person waiting for thier coffee. Ordered drinks and cakes for 4 peeps sitting in. Didn't get our drinks until 11.03. They were continually prioritising drivethru orders....... The person waiting in front of us had also waited 15mins.

Loud R&B or could be playing from speaker from behind counter. So loud the counter staff almost put through the wrong order. Ordered just before 8pm. They served my coffee in a takeaway cup without asking or explaining. Not happy. Rather be enjoying my coffe than writing this.

Placed a mobile order and asked to park up as the woman serving told us she was the only member of staff in. Waited 20 minutes whilst other customers came and went to walk inside and find our drinks waiting on the counter and being told that she was “too busy to bring them out”.

Closed early again! Always closes hours before advertised times. Lost count of the times we’ve walked up for a drink and it’s closed. Update your website please.

Very poor experience 😞 tables were dirty, service very poor 😞 1st they didn't have what we wanted...then forgot to give us the snacks we ordered, had to ask for cutlery and there were no napkins Staff were trying to make orders and take drive-thru orders at the same time

Terrible service. Slow. Served people that came in after us. All because of a problem with ticket machine that affected our order only… and no one else’s!

Wow. Ordered a caramel machiatto and a latte with extra shot of coffee with 2 breakfast rolls. The women at the window hands us 2 lattes .. we luckily checked the label before we drove and realised the mistake . We hand her back the drinks for her to transfer the lattes into new cups without stickers , out some caramel on the top of one and pump an extra shot in the other. Passed the drinks back to us with now dry coffee dribbles down the side of the cup and no labels to say which is which . Luckily could see the attempt at putting caramel on mine. Clearly a CBA attitude with some of the staff there its a costa coffee for us from now on. Expect better for the prices

The service for a simple latte and filter coffer took ages.. then when we did get served with drinks they messed up the order.. I had finished my luke warm latte when our 2nd drink arrived.. Will not be returning.. used the toilets and both were out of toilet paper.. requested some and it again too ages...

I used to love Starbucks, but have been using more independent places lately. But while in Cardiff thought I would give this one a go. I remember a smiley happy place, with lots of interaction but that is not what I got, no smiles just business, I'm not sure that giving everyone headphones is the way to go, you can't tell if they are talking to you or the person on the other end, may help if they look at you?!I'm not blaming the staff who clearly have to juggle both but as a customer I would like the very basic greeting and a smile. Food and drinks were disappointing too, such a shame that the money making machine of Starbucks is only interested in just that

Fantastic Customer service, I was a bit of an awkward customer with my diet restrictions, but this was not a problem! Excellent Coffee too, not often I find a Starbucks that I like, but was lucky enough to find this one when travelling through Wales last week! Wish it was my local!!

5* to the last with the glasses and curly hair! Very people friendly and knows how to serve a good caramel frappe!

Awful place, bland coffee, no proper cups, paper takeaway cup only (to drink inside) yet charge £3.50 a drink ????? Nero's down road much better coffee and cheaper with proper cups too ! Give it a miss.
