Always really enjoy food from here. We’ve had a mix of savoury and sweet and it never disappoints. The delivery drivers are friendly too. Thank you!

Good food. Tikka chicken with naan

Decided to visit as we had never been despite visiting the area quite a few times, I wish we had never bothered. Its the worst meal me and my wife have had in well over 15 years. Service was non existent apart from to get out order and put our food on the table. We did not see staff after that. They had the cheek to add a 12.5% service charge to the bill, which we refused to pay. The food was bland and not nice at all. The chips tasted like they had been reheated in the microwave. The meals did not come with all ingredients on the menu. Both myself and my wife said would have been better just to go get a nasty McDonald's. Food and drinks were overpriced. Waste of time going. Only positive is that it was near other food places where we could get something else to eat. Stay away, is all I can say.

My local Asda is around 1.5 miles away, but I travel around 8 miles especially to visit this one. I find the staff far more pleasant, as well as the customer base. The aisles are very wide, and there's a great selection. I've found the shelves to be stocked well, and the store is generally tidy and clean. No Asda is the same since the new owners took over, it really has gone downhill nationwide. That can be seen in staff moral, as well. My only real issue with this store, as with others is the lack, or complete absence, of manned checkouts. It's not only laborious to handle everything several times, but the checkouts are quite low. When I'm doing a several hundred pound weekly shop, this actually starts to hurt my back a little from leaning over and twisting side to side a hundred times, especially with heavier items, like multipack cans. As mentioned above, it's the best Asda I've found within a reasonable driving distance, and I'll continue going. There is some room for improvement though.
