We only went for a quick coffee. Order was given as 2 decaf lattes, 1 with caramel shot and the other as a skinny milk and vanilla. We got round to collect and was served 2 large lattes, 1 decaf caramel and the other non decaf with vanilla. So a) we were served large but wasn't actually asked the required size and b) served incorrect drink. Didn't realise until driving away and saw the sticker on the cup!

We all come across rip off places but this one takes 1st prize. A needed stop on the way to Cromer, Norfolk. Ordered 2 coffees to take away, £3.95 each. Paid by card, receipt showed £8.00!! Apparently there's a 5p per cup additional "Green levy"!! When that was pointed out by the matter or fact staff member it's hardly noticeable on the boards. Common guys we pay enough levies to safe a doomed planet without some American conglomerate fleecing us too. Next time l will take my recycled plastic travel mug and get a discount. Buyer beware

I've been here twice. The first time I got the worst coffee I've ever paid for. Stone cold, and stale. Complained to Starbucks. The other day I went for the second time for a work meeting. Coffee was better but was served by the rudest and most severe staff I've encountered for years. The person I was with asked a question about a product and got told to 'just wait over there' like he was being told off at school for talking in class. Couldn't believe it. Think next time I'll just take a flask with me if dealing with coffee is too inconvenient for Starbucks.

A young member of staff was openly very rude to my mother this morning over the intercom after she added an item to my order. Disgusting attitude problem with this coward of an employee - so whatever 'genius' hired him was clearly desperate just desperate to fill the position because god only knows how this guy still has a job! It's a huge shame, because this Starbucks had some great staff not too long ago but we definitely won't be coming back unless the new staff learn what customer service means. A review of the very basics of customer service is sorely needed after this morning's display. I could hardly believe his attitude and if my mum hadn't been in the car with me I would have called him out on it. I would advise coffee addicts to go to the Butter Market instead and avoid this place like the plague! You'd get better service at McDonalds than this place.

This branch doesn't take cash. It would have been nearly £11 for a coffee and roll takeaway. We walked out and went to Greggs, with sensible prices, quality food and not feeling ripped off. There's a certain snobbery in modern coffee culture and Starbucks are certainly exploiting it.

I used to come here every Tuesday with friends and would be in store many times throughout the week, however, over the last few months service has gone downhill. I now rarly visit. The wait time in store is stupid and the drive through is incredibly slow, I am often queuing for 20-30 mins and for some reason they don't park people up to get the queue moving. It's such a shame because I used to go there so often and it was always a good experience! Also, the road leading onto starbuck is usually flooded and is a worry to drive through.

Been coming here a lot over the past few weeks. This morning staff ignored my friend and myself for nearly 5 minutes , not even a courteous “will be with you in a minute”, when they decided to finally take an order the male worker proceeded to say “what can i get you” - no hello, no apology for leaving us waiting or acknowledgement of the queue forming. No manners, no hello, no Thankyou , no nothing. Extremely rude. Will not be returning. Very disappointed. Staff members do not acknowledge in-store customers and are dismissive and rude.

Terribly managed store. Ordered two drinks yesterday at around 12pm, waited 35 minutes in total for a mocha and Frappuccino, with many people who ordered after me getting their drink first. I don’t think it’s the workers who are the problem as they look overworked and stressed, the store manager however strolled out of the back room and gave the team a pretty pathetic motivational speech “I appreciate you guys” and strolled back out. There was a huge queue at the drive through and many unhappy customers waiting in store for their drink - the least he could of done was stepped in and helped. Seems this is a reoccurring issue though looking at other reviews.

The cafe was dirty, dishes everywhere. Staff seemed stressed and unfriendly. The baristas behind the espresso machine were super slow, making multiple mistakes. Six people in the queue inside, seven people waiting to get their drinks and the drive thru has about 7 cars in the line. I've worked at a drive thru Starbucks in Canada that was on a major highway. We were constantly busy but moved faster than the people at this place. It took me nearly 20 minutes to get my one person drink. I will not be coming back here anytime soon, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone!

Went to drive thru this morning and terrible service. Walked in to order coffees, completely ignored by staff and stood waiting to order for 10 minutes before another customer asked them to serve us who were waiting. took 10 minutes to make a coffee as they were too busy talking to each other than doing their job. Then was asked to why we were “lingering” when we were waiting a long time to even be served yet get what we ordered. Very rude and unprofessional staff who would rather chat than do their job.

Unfortunately have to update my review, 6 members of staff, 3 stood in doorway discussing some problem 1 wandering around aimlessly, 1.5 actually working. Placed order at till was told no hot food. After paying for 4 drinks, still intending to sit in, I noticed the mess on both sides of the counter. The 3 hot drinks were made but after 10mins the peach iced tea still had not been made, I enquired if it had been forgotten and the, I assume manager, rudely stated "he will make it in a minute". Dreadful customer service, filthy restaurant and staff standing around chatting all for a premium price.

What an appalling place. Short staffed notice on the door and technical error resulting in no hot food. Okay these things happen! However it's how it's dealt with is the true indicator of how well the place is run. Short staffed but there were around 6 members of staff , 2 of which were busy working the others stood around looking puzzled. Plenty of work to be done like tidying the cafe which was strewn in rubbish on tables and floors instead of standing idol. Designating someone to actually greet and apologise would be preferable.

Pulled up to an empty drive through and was blanked on the speaker system for over 5 minutes. Eventually someone answered and stated dealing with another customer (no one else in the drive through) . Another 5 mins had passed and we decided to leave via the drive through and see a member of staff at the rear on there phone and 3-4 staff members inside laughing and talking. Disgusting service being that Starbucks is meant to be at the top of there game in service and beverages. Appalling.

Pretty bad wait for one drink (over 20 mins). Got a frappe except it wasn’t a frappe it was as if it was left out for a while to melt in the sun. Overpriced as hell. I can tell the workers are understaffed so it is understandable but come on Starbucks is too expensive. Also said I was milk intolerant but got whole milk with it and cream. The skinny latte was burning hot and undrinkable for a considerable time, the cappuccino was actually a latte and just as hot. Last 4 visits to the drive through here have been extremely slow. Went inside on my last visit to see what’s going on as was getting on for nearly 30mins from the point I placed my order and was still waiting for two drinks. It’s clear to see why they’re struggling. No one appears to have a set station, no one is taking control of service and some staff members are overwhelmed with what to do next whilst others watch on - it’s just a mess! The lack of organisation, queue management & communication amongst staff was evident. Management here need to take a serious review of the situation or close the drive through until they can get things out in a timely manner as this is not just a one off. Handing out vouchers for free drinks is only going to work for so long and does nothing to help some of the staff here that are clearly getting overwhelmed and stressed as a result of poor management.

I had the unfortunate pleasure of visiting the shop today. My daughter ordered 2 GR Caramel Crème Frappuccinos today, firstly she had to wait over 20 mins between being served and receiving the order only for us to discover that what we were actually given was a cup of iced milk with cream on top. There was no evidence of being short staffed as there were 6 members of staff happily chatting to each other but just not working! My daughter told me that there were other people in the store complaining on the wait times but staff seemed none too bothered 😕

We have had several slow services in their drive through before, but only saw one car in the way and we’re in a rush. So we (regrettably) decided to try our luck. The slowest I’ve ever seen. We waited about 5 minutes at the call box before they acknowledged us, then when we made it to the window (another 5-6 minutes with one care in front of us) and we were asked to pull aside to wait for our two drinks. We waited for another 15-20 minutes. In the end we waited just shy of 30 minutes for coffee in the drive through with a single car in front of us, and watched several groups of people walk in and back out with their drinks in minutes. Add in that we threw one drink away because it was terrible, and this easily one of the worst Starbucks we have been to.

This one seems to be getting very hit and miss. A few instances now of waiting for a very long time through the drive through. Got parked up while they 'served inside customers'. The waiting bays don't work as they are to small and to close to the drive through road so it just gets blocked. Would be better of closing the current waiting bays and designating some normal parking spaces in the car park. The staff do maintain there friendless.

Ordering two things for breakfast (A drink and a Muffin) and only upon delivery do I find my muffin (plant based banana) isn’t available and has been replaced with one (blueberry muffin) I cannot eat as I have allergies to egg and have a plant based diet. Preferably I would have like to been told it was in available and then get my money back for the muffin but instead I now have to try and find some way to get my refund on a website that want nothing more than to not let me do that. I do however appreciate the fact that in my order itself there was a note on the muffin bag explaining the situation and a card that would cover a drink in the future. A kind gesture but I would have rather not wasted my money on something that has immediately gone to waste.

Having regularly visited the branch from the day it first opened I felt compelled to comment. Regular for the last 4 years, usually 5 days a week, every morning around 8am, same two Soy capps, never changes! What could be easier? Some staff members try their hardest with what's in front of them and do a good job, the rest of them, that come and go I wouldn't let them run a bath, as for the customer is right rule, forget it, these entitled kids with chips on their shoulders seem to be doing us a favour for being there. I do enjoy going here but it's usually understaffed and the drive through is busy, so means a bit of a wait but I go there to relax after work and so not in a hurry. Cinnamon roll was very dry but the coffee was good as usual.

Saw that Bills was closing, which is a terrible shame as a favourite brunch spot of mine and my partners for the great gluten free options, so on Saturday 29th July we popped in for brunch. In the past we would always be warmly welcomed at the front. On this occasion we waited at the front for a few minuets with no sign of any staff. A few minutes later a young waitress walks down the steps, looks at us and then starts clearing a table, but putting items on a tray. She then looks at us again, then walks over to another table to ask how their food is, then returns to clearing the table. She looks at us again and finally decides to walk over after ignoring us for close to 5 minuets, it’s now been nearly ten minuets since we walked in! She walks over “table for two?” - I reply “Yes please” and I continue to say “one gluten allergy” but she interrupted me and said “just a second” before picking up two menus and walking off without us. My partner and I looked at each other and both said “nope” and we walked out. Service at Bills in the past was always superb. Always asked for allergies at the door and seated quickly. Which given service charge is included you’d expect. On this occasion is was severely lacking, I assume in part due to staff being aware the store is closing and there no longer being a reason to care about standards. We walked to Edmundos instead, we were greeted within seconds of walking in and as soon as we said a table for two the following question was “any allergies?” For me as someone with Coeliac this immediately settles me. The food was also great. Shame to lose bills, but thankfully Edmundos is there and doing a great job.

Took my daughter here as it’s her (and my) favourite place to go. It’s so pretty inside and we had a really nice time treating ourselves after shopping. Great place to take some nice photos and the food is great x
