Starbucks in North East Derbyshire

Ordered a coconut milk caramel frappe vi drive through. Server did not add caramel. Assumed it was an allergy. Requested caramel so squirted across top. Argued that this was standard when I asked her to drizzle on sides of cup. Even suggested I take a picture if I wanted to complain. As I put window up to avoid further argument, she called me rude. So my first time leaving a review and will be putting a complaint in with photos. Thanks for the suggestion. Btw you were incorrect - check your own website. Threw the drink away, very liquid and tasted poor. A total waste of time!

it has nice coffee but they some times they get the order wrong i really recommend the caramel ice frappacino. if you have a dog they are not missing out you can get a little cup of cream for FREE it is called a pup cup it is funny when they get it on there nose it is so cute .

Stopped by for a coffee and bite to eat. Lovely coffee and food. Starbucks is a reputable coffee chain and doesnt disappoint.

Friendly staff. Always warm in winter rather than air conditioning blasting to keep staff cool. . Well cooked food. Lovely coffee

I’ve been a few times now and at first it was good but now you’re waiting a minimum of 10 minutes in the drive through. No one seems to quite know what they’re doing. Retraining needed and customer service. I was told it was a 5 minute wait on my recent visit for my hit chocolate. I had been waiting behind the person in from for 10 minutes.

We were served by a very young girl, (summer??? Her name tag was blurred) who not only couldn’t smile, she also spilt and gave half measures of the coffee. She slammed and banged the cup, the coffee grinder and anything else she could. I would rather drive up the motorway to gat a little customer service. If you don’t like your job love you should probably leave.

Tried here seeing as it was more local than the Barlborough branch we usually visit, but won't be coming again. Ordered both drinks to stay in, one came served in a takeout cup. The skinny flat white was awful, tasted more like an americano with extra milk. I know Starbucks don't serve the hottest of drinks, but when you request extra hot, I'd expect a little warmer than lukewarm at least.

Slow service and and ended up with a £60 parking fine. Not aware I had to register my car to stay over one hour. The staff never informed me. It’s not like anyone can park there and go elsewhere as there’s nowhere near to go to. Appalling. Will never visit again. They don’t deserve customers

Felt an inconvenience to staff whilst awaiting service. Strawberry lemonade neither contained strawberries or lemonade!

On 10 of June i been in with my family for breakfast. Very bad service. The service I received is very bad and slow... I asked for staying in and I received my croissants on a paper bag (everyone else have got plates), probably because my accent. Today 17 of June I have been again in for breakfast and again very slow service, and there are 5 ladies working ..... The coffee is great 👍 service still needs lots of improvement...

Lovely visit for a coffee with friends. The barista Hannah was lovely and my caramel macchiato was amazing!

Our default Starbucks. Staff friendly and helpful. Usual great coffee and treats. Just shows what happens when you have well-motivated and led staff.

Twice I’ve been here now, first time for breakfast but couldn’t have toast as they had no toaster 😮 second time, paid to stay in and ended having our cakes in a bag and drinks in takeaway cups as they had no clean cups or plates …….sort yourself out Starbucks 🤨🤨

A massive thank you to the team at the A617 coffee house! I drive out here from the centre of Chesterfield for two reasons. Firstly, the staff are great, always friendly and happy to chat, and secondly they make great coffee!! Keep being great!!

We visited Starbucks drive thru at Chesterfield Heath at around 7.20pm after a long day at work like most people who would access this style of Starbucks. We were ‘served’ by Aimee. Who showed absolutely zero customer service skills, manners or any passion for her job. She did not speak to us (even to say thank you for payment or to reiterate our order) we were simply told to ‘drive round with payment ready’ I think the word she was looking for was ‘please’. On driving to the window with ‘payment ready’ we were again grunted at with the amount due without a ‘thank you’ on receipt and took the cash once again lacking basic manners. As regular Starbucks customers this fell far below the standards expected. Ultimately if this is the type of service that is acceptable at this Starbucks - then I think we will drive thru elsewhere. Appalling. 1 star is far too generous for this experience.

We visited today, and although the coffee and the cake was good, I was disgusted by all the flies I counted at least 20. No fly zapper machine at all?? To top it off a member of staff that was not wearing uniform and had their ourdoor clothes and scarf on went behind the counter and started making themselves a drink without washing their hands. Surely this is not right.

I don’t know how it’s possible to be employed as a barista and be so bad at making coffee. Unless Starbucks are not providing any training whatsoever for their staff or they are entirely lacklustre in their approach? Either way I don’t think it’s acceptable to provide really substandard drinks for customers who are paying a premium for the privilege of being shafted. We ordered a caramel macchiato and a decaf coconut mocha yesterday around midday. Both were lukewarm at best and I actually threw the mocha away it tasted so bad! I’m really not a fussy person and I hate wasting food and drink so to me this was an absolute crime to be paying good money for unpalatable drinks. The attitude of the staff seemed hugely lacking and I can say without hesitation that if I were the owner of this outlet, I would immediately sack the staff working there. I appreciate this sounds harsh but quite honestly I’m very passionate about feeling fleeced and it’s not as though there aren’t a million other places where someone can grab a cup of coffee that’s made with at least some care and attention! We shall not be visiting here again.

Always like a starbucks coffee, nice. Hot chocolate was a bit grainy. Fruit toast was ok but could have been hotter. Cafe was clean, toilets not as clean.
