Nice pub with cheap early bar prices before 7pm … would give 5 stars but as a dart player the dart board isn’t in good condition and the tv on the wall don’t help 🙃and the score board has no batteries in 😂 but it’s a nice pub and the pool tables a good addition, plenty of space outside for seating 👍

Any pub called The Green Dragon must be good! Lovely pub, great interior and good beer patio next to the car park. Boothroyd,had a great pint of Barnsley Bitter by Stancill. Choice of 3 real ales. Lovely staff and free scoobies on this Friday afternoon. (Cheese, pork pie, crackers, pickle. Used to be common in pubs; now quite rare.) Super old world interior and great (grate?) fireplace. Super music playing as well. ( Classic Motowm.)6 We all love this pub. Especially Casta.

Drinks only pub dating to the 15th century. Very cosy with friendly bar staff and frequented by a wide age range. Always live music / DJ at the weekends.

Just called in for a drink, Saturday night, was busy outside due to the hot weather. Staff member was friendly and it was lively outside with a good mix of ages having a good evening.

2022 update. Busy for the Dronfield beer festival but they put plenty of staff on and enough outside bars so we weren't waiting long at all. Brilliant. 2019. Nice pub this. When we went I think most of Dronfield was there but the staff were able to cope by sticking in a temporary bar and having enough staff. Real character in this building too. I'll be popping back.

We visited this lovely pub today as were holidaying in the local area. We were looking for somewhere that was very dog friendly and this place did not disappoint! With the very cute doggy water station outside to the extremely friendly staff, who were more than helpful and clearly loved dogs! Making sure our boy got lots of cuddles and treats to make him feel comfortable! We had food to take away and myself and my husband were beyond amazed with the quality and taste of the food, we wish we’d of ordered more! When we visit the area again, we will make sure we visit this lovely village pub! Thanks guys, absolute top quality service!

Visited, on a Friday night, several times now, I think it's my new home pub. They have a disco, which is nice, but for me, the main selling point is: The lovely staff, wonderful landlady & nice clientele. I feel totally comfortable & at home there. I can't recommend it enough. This evening, I lost my purse & instantly thought the worst case scenario... It had been found on the floor & was handed back totally intact!!! High praise indeed!

An excellent and fabulously run Traditional Pub, located in the heart of Dronfield Town, across from the Church. The staff excel in their individual jobs, providing quality service to customers and the Pub provides regular entertainment at weekends, in the form of various Musical Artists, plus a DJ on a Friday and a quiz in the week, which has prizes attached for those who participate and know their trivia... The Ales are always a joy to quench the thirst and it always appears rather busy with regulars and occasionals alike... I would highly recommend a visit and the selection of ales, gins and cider are of an high standard... A great fun night out, especially Thursday - Sunday when the entertainment is provided 🤔💯😎🥃🥂🍷🍾 🍻👌

Bit hard to get the attention of the waiting staff but i'll let them off in these difficult times

At last somewhere that does outdoor heating that works. Excellent sized out door seating. Motivated and efficient staff.

Stopped here recently at the end of a group cycle ride. Covid friendly table service by friendly helpful staff. Lots of outdoor seating. Cycle friendly as well as plenty of space to stash bikes safely. Highly recommended.

Well presented and a great location

Traditional Rural Pub situated in Dronfield. A lovely old traditional atmosphere , where you can have a few nice Drinks and a Chat with Friends. Friendly Staff and Locals and a nice range of Drinks. Visited here with Friends and we were all bowled over by its historic charms that date from Medieval times. Indeed , my Friends who were staying in Dronfield visited it several times !Not sure if it does any from of Pub Grub as we were there just for Drinks. The Pub does have a nice Outdoor Seating area , which would be vey nice in the Summer.Really enjoyed the visit. I recommend and I will return.

Very welcoming staff,nice ambience and the Saturday night i went there was the amazing Lily and the Mosquitos playing....good ales reason ably priced in a room with old beamed ceilings, granite floors,lovely barstaff and customers, a terrific night out ,well worth the journey from Chesterfield !

Great, traditional old pub serving an excellent choice of a good cask ale. The beer I chose was Moonshine - a pale IPA, with superb flavour. There were several other cask ales to choose from, all no doubt looked after and served to the high standard of the Moonshine. Thoroughly enjoyable visit.

What a georgeous pub. If you like oak beams, real beer and a friendly atmosphere, (I'ĺl try the food next time) try this place.

Attractive olde style country pub in dronfield. Well worth a visit if you're in the area.

I would describe this pub as a quintessential English pub with exposed ceiling beams cosy feel and a great selection of ale on tap, very friendly and helpful staff and a great outdoor seating area. To add a bonus they have a pizza van every Tuesday in the car park serving fresh handmade neopolitan style pizzas. Highly recommended pub.

Terrible service on 3 valleys fest, 50 mins to get served. 4 staff members for 200 people. Don't blame the staff, I blame the boss..... AVOID!

Cosy traditional Inn right in the middle of the old village. Always welcoming and lively at the weekends, when there's often some live music on. Two or three good cask beers available as well as the standard range of drinks.
