Awful slow service, not enough staff and no management in sight, This site cannot cope with the delivery drivers, drive try and walk ins The team need help from the owners. They simply haven’t the capacity but Starbucks happy to take the money after providing terribly slow service.

Unbelievably after pointing out to staff there were small flies crawling on cakes and biscuits, they continued to serve the remaining contents to customers after removing one and trying to bat them away...please don't use this cafe...no food hygiene at all😡

Hello I am emailing following an awful experience at your walsgrave triangle store in Coventry. Olivier Way, Coventry CV2 2SH I arrived at your drive through at approximately 9:43pm on Friday 15th July. As a regular starbucks customer I was extremely disappointed to arrive and be told by the speaker machine in the drive through that the shop was closed even though I had googled in advance and told it would close at 10pm. Thinking this was an error I proceeded to the drive through window which was open. I called for service and I could see a member of staff with blonde hair wearing pink. I could see her through the reflection of the window. Watching for a few seconds I realised that she was in fact hiding from me. I made several attempts to call her and I sat there watching her hide and peep her head around to see if I had gone. She did not realise that I could see her. I made attempts to capture this on my phone. However this will most definitely be clear on your CCTV and you will easily be able to locate this from 9:43pm. She was standing by the toilets which are around the corner from the drive through window. I am assuming that the member or staff did not want to serve me perhaps because it was coming towards the end of the shift, however this is no reason to not serve a customer nearly 20 minutes before the shop had closed. In the end I drove out of the drive through and went into the shop to address the issue as I felt that this is not the good customer service I am used to at starbucks. In fact this is the worst. I explained the situation to 2 staff members that were there when I went inside. 1 of them had just come out of the toilet. Although they did not see what had happened, the member of staff attempted to stick up for the staff that was hiding by saying that she 'doubts she was hiding' even thought I had video evidence. While I understand a united front and sticking up for your staff, there is no excuse to tell a customer they are lying when showing evidence. I have been treated unfairly. A manager then came out and I informed them of the situation. They did nothing and did not even apologise. I was told that they were closing early due to training or something. I would have been more than happy if a member of staff had been honest and said that they were closed rather than lying especially when I had evidence. Please could I request that this matter is looked into. I would also like your CCTV to be checked and the staff member dealt with accordingly especially after lying. The staff member stood behind the wall laughing

Great location , but it’s filthy. Really slow service for walk-ins. I don’t think this has been cleaned for weeks, especially not by the windows or under anything that could be moved.

My wife and I visited at about 3.30pm on a Thursday afternoon. The place had about 6 or 7 customers already sitting down and no queue waiting, so not busy at all. There were three staff serving behind the counter. We ordered two lattes and waited about 10 minutes for them. A bit excessive when there was nobody else waiting. There were plenty of places to sit available by the window which is where we wanted to sit but all the tables had dirty cups, saucers or plates on them. I cleared a table myself. As there were three staff on duty and no other customers to serve, surely one on them should have been clearing tables and wiping them after customers had left. For the duration of our stay, about 45 minutes, the tables were not cleared. I was a nice cup of coffee but a shame the housekeeping wasn’t up to scratch. Poor supervision. Might just go across the road to Costa next time.

I often think when a new place opens the staff today seem to train on the job rather than do it before it opens for business so they can talk to the customers and welcome them into their new coffee house just a thought the coffee was good the place looks great smiles cost nothing..good luck..

I visit this little Starbucks quite regularly at the Village Hotel and the staff are always helpful, cheerful and serve up a great coffee and friendly chat. I don't normally write reviews online but I am compelled to write this one after a particularly great experience there and some outstanding customer service from one of the team (Nicola Baskerville). I lost a new expensive Iphone at the Village hotel and had searched high and low trying to find with no avail and was on the verge of giving up and writing if off - on hearing that I had lost it there or somewhere nearby, she went out of her way to help me search around the hotel, even checking the rubbish to try help find it which was more than I expected of anyone and not what most people would have done - not only that, but she also managed to find it and in the process has saved me a lot of money and a lot of hassle sorting out a new phone that I would never have found otherwise. Absolute star! So I definitely recommend this particular Starbucks if you want a lovely coffee and great service from its staff :)

Had a 3 day stay in Coventry and needed my morning Starbucks fix. Was rather disappointed to be told that I couldn't use my app or the money that was on my card by the guy serving he said there a franchise but my local starbucks is also a franchise and I get points and use my app daily. Much needed coffee and it certainly tasted like a Starbucks latte lol even the cup said starbucks as well as all the advertising.

Always pop in after swimming with my daughter. Staff are extremely friendly and the drinks / food is always spot on. I know this is just another Starbucks but the staff make it a nice place to chill out and watch the world go by

I use the village hotel a lot , visiting the gym , social meetings etc I have visited Starbucks several times and I have to say it's never been better than average , I like my coffee extra hot this particular location seems to find it impossible to achieve , yet if I use Warwick services Starbucks they are able to do so ? I find the coffee , warm not hot and pretty tasteless , Starbucks was a favourite of mine but I would actually agree with the comment that Cafe Nero and Costa are now better.

Met a colleague her prior to going to a meeting. Coffee is no where near as good as Nero or Costa and even with the cosy tax agreement they have struck up with the Inland Rev they still pay as a % less tax than me or local coffee shops. Not my idea to meet there and would not go back

For some reason my husband has breakfasts here a lot. After having my first one today I really don't understand why. The bacon was not just dry but it actually tasted burned, not cheffy char grilled, but burned. Toast was just warmed bread. The rest if the food was just about Okay but cheap ingredients carelessly cooked. In contrast to the burned bacon, the toast was just warmed bread.

We ordered lunch using the touch screen Jacket potato chilli and salad. Full english breakfast 2 yorkshire teas. Paid went to collect a tray to put the teas on and the trays were sopping wet and had dried food still on them took us 7 trays to find a half decent one. We had to ask for the yorkshire tea and we were begrudgingly thrown 2 bags onto the wet tray. checked out the tables 4 were disgusting not clean at all. sat down to find the people behind us had opened an unbrella that had drained water all over the floor. Pointed it out to a waitress and was tol YEH I SEEN IT THANKS. she returned after serving 3 other tables and plonked a sign in middle of puddle Did not clean it up at all. Food arrived and breakfast was swimming in grease and ther was no salad with the jacket potato. By this time we were beyond wanting food so we drank half the tea and left. No point asking for a refund as i doubt very much if it would have eben sunk in. totaly filthy unhygenic cafe.

This is the second Sunday afternoon I have visited in the last 3 weeks and on both occasions the toilets have been absolutely filthy, clearly not cleaned all day, toilet paper and mess over the floor. Honestly if I had seen the state of the toilet before I ordered I would have walked out.
