Starbucks in Stevenage

Nice place, typical Starbucks, food decent,appears clean, nice seating area outside, needs more toilets.

Three times I’ve driven away with the wrong order, visited on my bike and got a mango cooler that was literally like water.Turn up today and the first indication you cannot enter the building which you have been able to for a while is a piece of A4 stuck to the door which then causes pandemonium with people trying to join the drive thru, was the americano worth the 35 minute wait? Well congratulations I actually got milk in it this time. Back to costa in stevenage old town for me, done with this place, well below the Starbucks standard I’m used to in London, such a shame as I was chuffed to bits when they opened. Friendly about it though I’ll give them that.

Has anyone else noticed that Starbucks has now started charging 5p for a takeaway cup. I asked how else I was supposed to take away my coffee as supplying your own refillable cup is currently banned due to covid regulations. No signs informing me of the charge, I only noticed when paying. How can you sell a cup of coffee without a cup beats me. A con I think

Good location to meet but not always easy to get table several people eating their own food and hogging tables. Restaurant could be cleaner too. Staff friendly but seemed under staffed.

Bought a black filter coffee to-go and was really impressive with the convivial approach from the staff there. Nice restaurant but had a few minutes waiting time to contend with. Otherwise, a good Starbucks experience.

Visited many Starbucks all over world. This has to have the worse seating, and seating arrangement. A large open area with bench seats round the side, so to relax you end up leaning against the window glass. The other seats are strange with low backs, meaning you have to constantly lean forward and are too short for the tables. Where are the cosy confortabke seats and sofas found in other SB, arranged in groups so you can sit quietly in a corner or sit with family.Add to the two sets of very annoying automatic doors that open when people walk past and on winter the blast of freezing air that enters the area, makes it a very uncomfortable visit.

Had a soy coffee last week and it wasn't as good quality as other Starbucks I have been too, was not very hot either. Staff friendly and polite, seating areas and tables needed cleaning

Currently sheltering in Starbucks while the car is getting serviced. Did i expect to want to leave a review (not at all) however the staff in here deserve a mention. Probably the most friendly service I have ever experienced in a Starbucks. Just had a convo with "Jo" about the roast beef she made last night :) Totally random but thats whats missing these days, staff with personalities. Thanks for the warm welcome on an otherwise cold, drab, uninspiring Stevenage morning.

Se non avete altre soluzioni andateci ma limitatevi al minimo indispensabile.Il cibo è, ovviamente, quello mediocre della catena ma non è questo il punto.Bagni insufficienti come numero e per la pulizia. Non parliamo di quella dei tavoli Unica nota positiva la gentilezza dei pochi addetti al servizio.

Staff are friendly and coffee is nice enough. We enjoy sitting outside especially in the summer watching the world go by.What lets this particular Starbucks down us that tables are not cleared and trays and cups are left on tables for ages.There are quite often long waits for drinks even those that should not take long to prepare like a filter coffee.Still probably the best coffee shop in the town centre but it could be so much better if tables were cleared quicker and you did not have to wait so long for drinks.

Whenever Jo is working it's always a pleasure. Such a nice lady making the experience even better. Looks good and certainly adds to Stevenage. Nice sit down for coffee or takeaway when shopping.

It's a Starbucks, but not clean inside. There's litter and spilled coffee on the tables, on the floor. I guess it's ok for takeaway but it's not nice to sit in

Nice addition to town, spacious and tables cleared regularly. Good outside seating available too.Usual hugh standard of coffee and snacks especially enjoyed the fruit toast.Friendly and helpful staff.Toilets could of been cleaner but that was a small downside to an otherwise very pleasant experience

Always get a great coffee here. You can't go wrong & very convenient too for the shops. Staff are also pretty good here.

I was pleased to see a Starbucks opening but it needs more inside seating. There is quite alot of empty space. Staff always pleasant.

normal Starbucks coffee but with friendly staff (on this occasion). much better than the 'other four letter' coffee shop just down further. great please to people watch

Ok, so it's a bit odd going into a coffee shop and asking for a cup of tea but hey, at least Starbucks were able to provide what I wanted.

Short Version - Run by the erudite Tanya, she certainly keeps the place looking modern, the baristas are very polite and friendly, Amy in particular is very endearing who helped me discovered the delight that is an almond-almond latte

Staff members are smiling to all customers, lovely service, fast and you can see the team work. They all seem to love their job!! Oh, and and they made the coffee exactly how I like it :)

The guy who served us didnt seem to have a clue what he was doing, looked shocked and confused every time I asked for something, had trouble scanning things in, took forever to heat up a hot snack. Then I got given a drink made of full milk instead of skimmed milk, and full milk upsets my stomach so that was a waste of money. I didn't take it back because the queue was so long by that time I just couldn't be bothered. More like getting a prison meal than a friendly cafe. On the upside, the salad I had was nice.

Pleasant place to sit outside and drink a freshly brewed cup of coffee. Service is good and staff are polite. If you like coffee and socialising, this is the place to be.

Delighted to see Starbucks's have opened a branch in the town centre, great addition to the town and refurbished to a high standard great central location which I will frequently be visiting, thanks guys.
