Go here every month or so, hoping it changes but no. Tables are always dirty and they are always understaffed. Drinks and food are and have been fine.

Absolutely filthy. All tables and chairs too dirty to sit at and on. I myself work in a fast food chain and if it was this dirty we’d have to shut down and do a deep clean. Just no need for it. No decaf tea, really in a hot drinks establishment. Go into petrol station opposite much better.

The staff in this coffee shop are very friendly and polite. The guys are always cheerful and polite. They remember our drinks every time. Service is always good and consistent. Excellent coffee shop.

Told they don’t do filter coffee, directly behind the guy is the filter machine! I know it’s a hassle to put the beans in and turn it on - it’s a shame as it’s the best coffee. They were quite happy to sell me a more expensive option where other branches offer a Americano for the price of a filter when it’s not available.

Although the coffees and food received was acceptable, most certainly this coffee shop is unhygienic.Most of the upholstered seating is filthy and most unhygienic to sit on while enjoying a coffee & cake. Together with the whole seating area needs a total clean, freeing it from cobwebs, dust & grime. It's disgusting. The tables between each serving were certainly not hygienically cleaned. This cannot be good under present circumstances around the world.Not a coffee shop I would recommend.

First & last time. Disappointed in lack of service. Poor customer service from ignoring us for what felt like ages. 2pm on a Saturday afternoon was not busy. Crumbs all over the floor. Didn’t listen to what we ordered ended up giving a cash refund for the coffees we asked for as opposed to what we were charged for. Had to ask for a receipt, had to ask for sugar. Cold atmosphere, certainly didn’t feel wanted, so won’t be spending my money there.

The whole place smells of fart. They had no sandwiches left to choose from at 1:30pm, and I have been through the drive thru 3x in the last week to be told they have sold out of eggnog latte. That's it... never going back. It's consistently the quietest Starbucks I have ever been in... I wonder why!?!

As it is a new place the design is lovely. Nice atmosphere and I think the staff were very friendly.There was a good selection of sandwiches, cakes and drinks as well as other coffee products to buy. Cost wasn’t too bad about what I expected for a Starbucks and it is worth saying you do get a generous size cup of drink for a regular.

Coffee and cake were fine BUT the floor, chairs and tables were all filthy. Member of staff went outside for a cigarette instead of clearing cups/plates away. Will not go again - does not give a good impression of Aylsham. Ashamed.

I enjoy a Starbucks but this particular venue constantly stinks !!! and they also appear to have a major problem with flies. The cakes are displayed in glass cabinets with sliding doors but because the sliding doors are not always closed the flies are getting in !! The staff were pleasant enough but the constant smell and flies are putting me off visiting again. These problems seriously need sorting !!!!

Once again terrible sewerage smell, has been like this since opening... I decided to get a take out coffee and hot snack but staff not willing to serve .. only 5 customers in, only me to serve and 3 staff just left me standing at the till feeling uncomfortable... I spoke with young man who just continued past and disappeared.. I pass everyday and it is always empty.. bad smell and bad staff explain why... the only Starbucks I have seen that is not busy.

There is a very stale, dank smell in the air - it’s either the toilets or sour milk. Had been here for a few weeks.Generally pleasant staff, but did get milk that was off the other week - drove back, as it was undrinkable/like cheese. The lady who served it said “yeah - I thought some of the milk was off earlier” - GENIUS!

Met friends for coffee here. Nice light airy room but very cold when the windows to the Drive-Thru were open which they were most of the time we were there. Not good in chilly March! The girl who served my coffee filled the china cup absolutely to the top and there was no way I could carry it over to my seat without spilling it. I asked her to take some coffee out and she took a dribble out and I had to ask her to take more out. The small coffee was OK but at £3 for a cup I felt it was expensive. Had it been warmer in there I might have stayed for some lunch but I was too cold.

We had a lovely pot of healthy porridge with honey and some cappuchinos here last Monday morning while waiting for an appointment. it was a lovely sunny big room and the staff were great. It was very nice.

My sister and I have never had the Starbucks experience and wanted to give it a go. We personally couldn’t see what the fuss was about. This particular Starbucks, although new, didn’t look particularly clean, empty cups had not been collected, and as this was the only evidence of any customers actually being there, wasn’t a bad thing. There was 2 staff, neither of which looked like a coffee connoisseur, both young and I wish we had asked coffee related questions but we didn’t. The place lacked atmosphere, the seating wasn’t particularly welcoming either. Very disappointing, and to think I was worried I might get addicted to the establishment. We will definitely be spending our money in town at the family run coffee shops in future and definitely not here.

After a busy shopping trip Norwich - enroute home to Cromer and my partner was dying thirst - suggested Starbucks for iced coffee !!! absolute lifesaver ! really really good.

Went this afternoon. They messed up our food order even though it wasn't busy. I collected my coffee, sat down and started drinking it and then they came over and took it away. They said they had accidentally given me my drink in another customers reusable cup. They then bought me a replacement drink a few minutes later which was not what I had ordered.

Not the best outlet in Chelmsford the best one is westway. Maldon high street is also very good but very disappointed Costas don’t offer any gluten free products as my wife can’t eat and as to watch me eating

There is plenty of competition in Aylsham for good bread, rolls and cakes but this is still our go to bakers. The quality and value is excellent and the staff are always very helpful ( happy to put rolls aside for me to collect later). I would recommend the cheese straws and rolls but the cakes are delicious too.

So, me and my good lady went here for breakfast this morning, 22/09/24. She asked for eggs benedict and I asked for the full English. My drink was coke and I asked for no ice, of course it came WITH ice but no big deal, I let that go. The meals arrived and my partners was Eggs Royale NOT eggs benedict that she had asked for. I pointed this out to the server and she whisked it away and apologised. My Full English only had one sausage, the menu states sausages, sausage with an S on the end implies more than one and I said so. Also a flat mushroom, as on the menu is not HALF a mushroom, again I pointed this out to the server, along with the fact that my toast had no butter on it and none was provided or offered. The half tomato, again tomato on the menu is NOT HALF of a tomato, looked like it had been cooked before and kicked around the kitchen a few times but I let THAT go too. The poor girl was very apologetic and went off to get my butter, sausage and the other half of my mushroom, along with my partners' eggs benedict, which came back suspiciously quickly considering we had waited for half an hour for our meals previously, and sure enough, she could taste the salmon in it when she started eating. The "chef" had obviously swapped the salmon for ham and sent it back out, luckily my partner is not allergic to salmon.. We ate it and I paid as we were both so hungry that neither of us wanted to try to find somewhere else to get breakfast before the cut off time but we were both VERY disappointed by the whole thing as we expect better from any restaurant but especially one that I THOUGHT was a quality establishment, I was obviously very wrong about that based on this experience, shocked really isn't a strong enough word..
