This is a perfectly located Starbucks. It’s opposite the RB hospital and part of the hotel. It also serves the Village Leisure facilities so there are plenty of reasons to visit it! The range of drinks and food options are typical of a Starbucks. What makes this one special are the amazing baristas! They are effectively managed by Evie and every one is pleasant and helpful. I’m a regular, so they know my preferences. A quick chat if they’re not too busy and then I am able to enjoy my favourite decaf cappuccino. Magic!!

Excellent service from a very friendly team. A good choice of drinks and snacks are available. A very welcome stopping-off point after using the gym and pool facilities.

I regularly drive here, the staff are so friendly, polite and incredibility helpful the atmosphere is good and the wifi and other facilities, being in a hotel are unsurpassed. I go to do some work, meet up or just chill out on my own, I highly recommend it, I drive past many alternatives, just to come here.

I like to have coffee at Starbucks when I finish work which is nearby. The coffee is great and the staff are nice & friendly, especially Edith.

After asking for a decaf drink and telling them I have a heart condition so can NOT have caffeine. I was offered a tea can’t have tea that’s got caffeine then offered a hot chocolate can’t have one that’s got decaf in it. If you are going to offer drinks in a cafe. You have to be aware of caffeine in it. I decide maybe I’d try a pink coconut starbucks refresha. It was so weak and no flavour. They had no idea about what drinks have no caffeine

I visit this Starbucks once or twice a week when I go to the gym. While it is more expensive than high street Starbucks and doesn’t do special offers, gift cards etc., it is convenient with a nice atmosphere and always friendly, efficient customer service from Margida and Evie who I see most often :)

I pop in for my daily chai and yogurt fruit pot after a workout. Friendly staff who always enquire into your day and a good selection of post workout goodies!

I visit Starbucks two or three times a week after classes.The staff are friendly and very helpful at all times I love their coffee and as I’m a choosy about my coffee I rate Starbucks blends It can be busy as the hotel has a steady stream of visitors but staff are efficient in site of the pressure It’s good to see friendly faces each time and feel welcome Thanks you to Evie,Edith and Margritta.

Great coffee, service bit slow and don’t get the seating in cafe it’s like long benches and as we’re under Covid just think that’s not good as your pretty close to each other. Plenty of cakes to choose from though. Would go again as the coffee was excellent.

After visiting asked for a decaf coffee- due to an allergy to caffeine. Was assured that this coffee was decaf to then consume this and had a reaction. Thankfully this allergy is not severe, no accommodating at all.

Just a great place to grab a coffee. Real friendly, wonderful service and nice to have a chinwag in a chilled atmosphere. Very nice indeed.

I was served by the one and only Shakira! She made my coffee whilst belly dancing and her hips definitely don’t lie!

Great service, great coffee, and a useful bolt hole if you need a break from the nearby Bournemouth hospital (or Crown Court!) for a real coffee and a sandwich. As part of the hotel/leisure club it doesn’t have the same feel as a high street branch and is really pleasant.

I will definitely go back again just because of how friendly staff is, especially one called Angela, she was so lovely, she made my day with her kindness and her positive vibes. Definitely recommend it.

You know what you going to get here and this is an ideal place for a business meeting. There’s bags of parking outside the hotel and plenty of place inside to have a meeting over Starbucks coffee. Best avoided at rush hours as access from the Littledown roundabout can be frustrating.

This is a Starbuck's coffee shop actually in the Village Hotel foyer area on Wessex Field. Service is efficient and friendly. Coffee is of the usual Starbucks standard. Very good.

Lovely service. I'm currently here for a course and the staff are very friendly and efficient. I prepaid for my lunch so I know I can collect later and eat quickly on my break. Lovely coffee and the guy is super chatty and helpful.

Once a regular at coffee bars, I tend to only visit this one on a regular basis since it has continued to be the best in my opinion. That is largely due to the welcoming and helpful staff who go out of their way to serve, interact and help you out in a friendly professional way. The venue is not the most relaxing but there are quieter times if that is something you want. There’s a good mix of seating options and a standard range of choices at the counter. For me, it says a lot when large groups meet up and linger over their refreshments, but the main appeal is the way the staff engage with customers that makes it stand out.

When visiting Bournemouth, I always go to the Village Starbucks with my family and young daughter. The service is always efficient and staff, especially the manager, are always very kind to my little girl.

This Starbucks has short become my local, by far the friendliest in town. Always a warm welcome with plenty of places to sit...although I almost always pick the seat with the wobbly table, even so I’ll be sure to return....daily 👌🏽

Everytime i visit here either after the gym or just for a coffee passing by. The staff are friendly, can hold a converstion and make you feel very welcome. The cafe is always clean and tidy too making it a relaxing place to come.

Having just joined The Village gym I was very happy to find my favourite coffee chain there. Nice atmosphere and great coffee. Not so keen on the salmon (not much in there) and cream cheese (just a scraping ) bagel. Very dry and not enjoyable ..... shame

I do not normally write reviews, however just wanted to mention how wonderful and attentive the staff are at this Starbucks branch, in particular Alex and Angela. What a wonderful asset! My children and I really enjoy our time spent here. Thank you, Ladies!

I visit many coffee shops around the country for work and leisure. This Starbucks is by far the best in terms of cleanliness, staff and speed of delivery. Alex is always happy, welcomes customers and makes my regular work visits so much more pleasurable.

This seems better than the average Starbucks! The team are very approachable and friendly whilst still being efficient. There is plenty of space as you can sit in the hotel lobby as well as the Starbucks area. One review says this is a franchise and so not directly owned by Starbucks -- perhaps this is the reason why it seems better than the average!

I visit this Starbucks regularly, both alone and with my daughter. The staff here are lovely. Always very accommodating.

Stayed in the hotel and popped in for a takeaway on the way to the beach. Staff friendly, coffee was well made and quickly. Counters and machines were kept clean which is usually altogether a good sign. Thanks again

I had coffee here the other day. This is one of the few places in Bournemouth that can make a good coffee. Love the place and nice staff very friendly (Angela, Megan, Pedro and staff)

In a convenient location, close to Royal Bournemouth Hospital, this Starbucks is a good pick-you-up. It has all of the usual coffees, teas and food you'd expect from the chain as well as their festive/seasonal specials. Even when busy, there is plenty of space to sit in Starbucks or the hotel lobby.

I find the staff to be amazing (Angie, Pedro , Edith) they make you feel welcome and just a very pleasant place. If you want your coffee served with a smile then this is the place to be.

Great coffee, lovely staff. I have been coming to this Starbucks with friends for a few years now. This is by far the best Starbucks for miles! Staff are always friendly (Alex, Megan, Pedro & Angela) and it's a very relaxing atmosphere, always clean and tidy!

Don't have time to stand at the desk whilst the manager chats. Coffee was mediocre too! The girls make great coffee. Shame

I mean the coffee is the standard stuff and if obesity is your thing there are loads of cakes But the interior is just so depressing with dark brown colours

Normally I take my time over a drink at this venue but this visit was for take away. Great welcome & service from friendly, efficient staff, hot filter coffee with a discount for using my own cup and the offer of a free refil if I wanted it too! Despite the controversy over this chain, i still recommend the Village Starbucks if you want a decent drink and friendly place to enjoy it

I always use this place when either visiting Royal Bournemouth Hospital or working in the area to catch up on emails. The Staff are great and the place is always clean.

I come here every Wednesday - my girlfriend teaches an exercise class and I get some work done in Starbucks. The staff are so welcoming and friendly - they even sometimes bring round free tasters of food to try! Great little cafe, nice atmosphere - even though I'm technically working - I look forward to my Wednesday coffee at Starbucks!

We met here for a buisness mid morning coffee and snack, it was bery busy , as it is a Hotel, gym, spa etc.

As I frequently visit this establishment on business I've always been welcomed by the smiling and more than helpful staff, wether it's been assisting me in my decisions on what to eat or drink, or down to polite and professional conversation at the start and end of a busy day.

Starbucks at The Village Hotel is like a home from home for me! I frequently work from here for a couple of hours most days. The staff are amazing, always greeted with a smile and the coffee is great! Angie, Alex and Pedro do a fantastic job!

My favourite coffee treat has to be a skinny grande caramel macchiato from this Starbucks. Literally parked outside, flew in, no queue and voila it was there, fresh, ready & tasting yummy☕️

The Staff very unfriendly and the coffee was not nice, they ask you for your name(Why every body have to know your name, they are other ways to catch, who ordered something.) not clean and dark. Not my first time in there, but my last one.

This Starbucks breaks from the norm and is friendly, warm and welcoming place. The service given by Angela, Alex and Monica is always top notch. The girls create a really nice environment in which it is possible to get some work done or to sit back and watch the world go by.

A better sociable service from any other coffee franchise I don't think is possible. Alex, Edith and the wonderful ladies and gents who serve at the Village Starbucks in Bournemouth are the best. A warm greeting, remembering what you like, chatting and prompt service keeps me coming back time after time. The coffee and food isn't bad either, with a good choice, some promotions and occassion tastings too. The only let down is the hard seating when the soft seats are taken.

I frequently come to this great cafe, which is in a good setting near lots of transport (in a modern hotel, if travelling). Most especially, the team provides great service. There's a good mix of people, and of all ages. Lots of natural light coming in the big ground floor windows, and that is always good. I'm happy to recommend.

Woke up this morning with no voice....just disappeared. Went for a work meeting at The Village Hotel Starbucks, including the normal beverage. Received excellent service as always, but without my ability to vocalise, the wonderful gentlemen who took my order kindly presented me with a honey and milk to help my throat without requesting anything in return. He was extremely helpful and generous. Cannot fault their service and kindness. Thank you.

I visit the coffee shop weekdays. I am always welcomed by friendly staff. The shop is always clean and tidy, well presented even when busy. There is always a lovely selection of food available along with the odd sample now and again.

I used to visit many coffe shops in Bournemouth but this one is my favourite. Staff is always simled and happy to help. Alex is amazing! Such a proffesional person and always makes me feel welcome. She Remembers my drink and makes it the way I like without telling her. They have always big choice and nice display. Alex makes good recommendations. Place is clean and warm. i have been visiting the village starbucks over a couple of years and just wanted to say how friendly and professional the staff have been. it has been so great that when I need a meet up point for business my first choice is always at the village starbucks. Thank you!

As a gym member, I regularly have a coffee after class with friends. We enjoy the comfortable seats and although at times the cafe is very busy and noisy we go to the hotel lounge which is adjoining, so there's always plenty of space for an intimate chat, business meeting for a group of friends catching up .

I'm very picky about my coffee, but the people always come to perfection and have always been very friendly and polite. Special thanks to Angela and Edith for always being kind and friendly.

Well if you're staying in the hotel or using the leisure club it's very convenient. But it's not too comfortable: drafty; lots of noisy business users; sometimes large noisy groups from the leisure club; chairs uncomfortable.

As a member of the Village I look forward to a Coffee ( a flat white more often than not) and a light bite at Starbucks Coffee Lounge after my keep fit classes which I attend most mornings . There is always a friendly face to share conversation with before setting off to my Workplace .The staff are always cheerful, always serve you with a smile and nothing is too much trouble for them making the whole experience of exercise & Coffee something to look forward to !!! I am a complete Starbucks fan. This is my second favourite Starbucks in the world - beaten only by one on the corner of Boston Common. Great atmosphere. Good coffee. Wonderful staff. I'd come here anytime.

I had a lovely coffee here. It came in a lovely cup. Was not to cold and was not too hot. It tasted of coffee, milk and two sugars

I've returned after a previous disappointing visit, and and found that the refurb had really perked the place up! It's looking SO much better now... The counter service is pretty good, but it still needs to improve on clearing tables and cleaning up after customers, particularly as lots of parents with children visit, leaving an inevitable trail behind!

I have used this place sporadically over the last year, largely because, as one reviewer alluded to, they have a captive audience for those who use the gym, spa and hotel...

Recently popped in here for a coffee & light lunch.

This Starbucjs has a 'captive clientele' being in the de Vere hotel - and it shows. Slow service, stale pastries etc. the best seats tend to be hogged by mobile workers caped out across 4 seats providing themselves with free office space for the price of a coffee
