staff friendly but the whole place was generally grotty - particularly the disabled toilet, the tiles floors and walls were very stained, clearly there's no deep cleaning going on particularly when you consider how careful we should all be during covid. If they invested in a steam mop then areas could be cleaned through the day to a very high standard but that does mean someone has to be bothered, I don't suppose servers want to do that wort of job - or aren't trained to do it. Plus the place was pretty empty. I'm sure they have time. What a shame, as it's a fairly new place.

Came round the drive thru this afternoon with my husband and daughter on our travels to the airport and the service was fantastic! Staff couldn't be more helpful with explaining due to our uncertainty on the flavours of the new drinks they have started. Also there was no waiting around like you get at most drive thrus nowadays. All in all very good service. Will definitely pay another visit soon when passing through again. Keep up the good work.

Having read the unfair EDP review, I felt I should leave a review myself as I use this Starbucks on a regular basis when on my break at work. Never had any issues here, the food and coffee is great and the staff have always been friendly. Some people have pubs they frequent, I have this Starbucks. Personally would recommend the Caramel Macchiatto or Coffee Based Caramel Frappuccino. The sugar free caramel syrup is a good add on too.

In a hurry to get to work, hence drive-thru my only option. Coffee and fruit toast (hardly a big order to get right) “butter, honey or jam with it?” ‘Butter please” ....drive to the next window (only 1 car in front of me) - my order almost ready, coffee first, then a bag handed to me with a “there you go, everything is in the bag” except it wasn’t. No butter, no napkin. So frustrating and so unnessary (albeit my own fault for not checking before I drove off) but hey, when one is in a hurry, prepare to pay for consequences!

I come to this particular Starbucks daily but have visited others, this one is by far the best. The coffee is fantastic and the staff are so nice. Staff member Chloe is especially good with remembering my order every time I come in which makes me feel so welcomed!! From a disabled persons point of view the facility is more than accessible and the disabled toilets are among the cleanest I have used. They also have a great vegan menu, and allows all dogs in.

After viewing the Eastern Daily Press’ ridiculous article, I felt compelled to review this store. I use this for work, ideal for the free WiFi and free filter coffee top ups. Staff are generous and talkative - contrary to other reviews.

Regular in the week days couldn’t ask for better service, some barista even know my drink from spotting my car in the drive through queue.

Came here about 9:30 I believe on a Thursday morning. There were 4 members of staff. All talking not paying any attention to us or any other customers for that matter. I ordered one of there new lattes and they didn’t have it ordered another and another and and didn’t have those either. I asked what they would recommend and they were not at all helpful. So I ordered one of the Christmas ones but I was told they’d run out of cream. So my partner couldn’t have what he wanted either. So we spent a lot of money on drinks we disliked and left after a mouthful!

Go here quite often for a coffee at lunchtime and sometimes early in the morning for the drive through. Staff at this outlet are really nice and it is nicely decorated as it's relatively new. However music is often a bit too loud which makes it hard to talk and air con is fierce so take a coat.

First time ever stopped to use this new one. Two members of staff only one customer at counter yet both staff totally ignored me whilst continuing conversation with guy in front who had already been served. So I walked out. Spent my money elsewhere.

I’ve used this Starbucks a lot, but it’s never been that good to be honest. However, more recently a new manager has arrived, Joe, and he is just brilliant! Well done mate 👍🏼

My mother and I arrived for lunch on Saturday. Firstly we were shown to a dirty table, rings from cups and salt or possibly sugar. As my mother has a walker and had taken her coat off and sat down I didn’t ask to be moved but cleaned the table myself with antibacterial wipes I always carry. We ordered drinks and food which you have to pay for upfront so no opportunity to refuse to pay. The drinks arrived, one of which was a bottle of water but no glass. I asked for a glass which the waiter came back with. The glass was dirty. I waited until the food arrived and asked for a clean glass. No apology was given for bringing me a dirty one. My mother had loaded fries at £11. Well I could see the crispy onions, crispy because they were those dried ones you buy in tubs in the supermarket, but no sign of any cheese. I started to eat my bacon, Brie and red onion chutney panini. Well I had bacon. I looked inside for the Brie. There was a sort of stain which was obviously the Brie. I’ve never managed to cut a slice of Brie that thin myself, I suspect they could see through it when they lifted it up. As for the chutney, I found a few soggy bits of tasteless brown stuff. I noticed my mother poking her chips about and asked her what she was doing, she said ‘looking for the cheese’. I asked if she’d found any and she said ‘not really’. She pushed the bowl away and said her legs were cold. We had been sat in front of the entrance and the draft was awful. I asked her if she wanted to go and she was out of her chair faster than I’ve seen someone of 88 move in a long time. All in all a most unpleasant lunch. £11 for a bowl of chips and dried onion, and £10.50 for a bacon roll. Very poor indeed.
