Starbucks in Warwick

We visited the store in the early evening via the drive through, I missed the order point. The lovely young lady at the window, took my order. I mentioned its very awkward order but she insisted it’s no problem at all. Took the time to listen to me, made me drink perfectly. Said for me to try it before I left and would remake if not ok .. most places make you buy a new drink!! So impressed with the service I received considering the staff were young they made me feel like I mattered really made my day!

Dirty tables and toilets, even though not busy. Staff clearly not happy in their work. Expensive. Wasn't asked what coffee size I wanted or whether mug or takeaway cup. I'd have to be desperate to hand over money there a second time.

Standard service station Starbucks. Overpriced coffee, slow and rude service. As ever only stop if you are desperate!

There are two Starbucks opposite each other here on the A46 - this review is in respect of the Coventry bound one. Plenty of parking and it wasn’t busy when we arrived early afternoon (there’s also a drive thro’ facility) . The lady who took our order (Ellie?) was cheerful and helpful - our drinks were made up promptly by the baristas. My tea was very weak (we were warned!) and there was no decaf option but my wife was happy with her latte. Although the store looks quite new, the interior and toilet areas are looking tired. It’s ok for a quick pit stop but overall nothing special.

Wanted a medium latte, was told had run out of medium cups, so could only serve large or small lattes. Asked to have medium latte in large cup (obviously). Was told that that wasn't allowed, for stock control reasons. I asked if they knew how ridiculous they sounded (stock control was already out of the window (obviously, no medium cups)). They agreed (staff member was nice, don't get me wrong) but there was nothing they could do. Essentially, a company that just can't be bothered to provide service; what a shame this is the way of the world!

Absolutely horrendous customer service! Two young people serving us and they just didn’t want to be there at all! Mumbling at us to see what we wanted, basically threw our egg bites at us at the end of the counter! You could tell they definitely didn’t want to work the morning shift and to that I’d say, maybe find somewhere else to work!

First time at this Starbucks. Ordered breakfast items and a ‘pup cup’ for our small sausage dog - the reason we choose Starbucks vs others. Once we sat down another member of staff came over and said - “You’ll have to leave. We’re a franchise, we’re not like the others, we don’t let dogs in.” She was about 22 and all the other staff looked in late teens. Given there were only 2 people in the coffee shop at the time perhaps a more experienced barista may have handled the situation in a better way. Overall service was average from the server but poor from the supervisor. Needless to say we won’t need to stop there again. Might be worth popping a sign on the front to avoid others having a similar poor experience.

The staff are unwelcoming, and unfriendly. I ordered a classical hot chocolate which I specifically outlined that I didn’t want any cream or froth and that it must be extra hot (as I always do at other Starbucks) - to my dismay it was topped with froth and cold. The lady who served me didn’t even bother to acknowledge that she had got the drink wrong, offer an apology or even try to make another drink. It is sad that meeting customer satisfaction is no longer a priority. Just to mention that this is not the first time that I have had experienced this at the same place. Staff should be taught how to clean tables and toilets properly.

Service without a smile. Yep that’ll be here unfortunately. Love Starbucks coffee but service here is poor and walk in definitely second place to drive thru. But at least you are allowed in unlike the one at the services at Coventry north where they had a private event. Who knew they did that. Not happy

Not exactly what you would call a friendly and welcoming experience. Dirty tables and floor through out. We chose the cleanest we could find. The coffee was nice and the fruit toast lovely. We were not asked if we were eating in or taking away and given disposable cups not mugs. Not great for the environment! And 3 butter packs between 2, strange!

I stopped there yesterday...... it had one customer in there.... the lady with he red hair looked at me like I was something she just stepped on. There was a used sanitary towel on the loo floor and it was v unclean. I stood and waited to be served and no one even looked up. Went to the near by garage and got a drink.... far cheaper, clean and nicer staff. Avoid this one.... jeez 🙄

Staff were polite and efficient but loo wasn’t the cleanest. Didn’t see any unsanitary actions from the staff but they need a cleaner / additional staff. Only loo on that stretch of the A46

Car broke down and Nicole couldn’t have been more hospitable. We waited for almost 4 hours and nothing was too much trouble. It was very busy as it was Boxing Day and there was a constant stream of customers. I’d like to thank Nicole for being so helpful and friendly and kind to my children. Would definitely recommend a stop here if you’re passing. Drinks were well made and food was well stocked with plenty of choice.

Staff not even present when entered, and not for sometime did they appear on the shop floor. When they did appear they could not have been anymore disinterested. Tried to order but they had run out- why not put a sign up rather than continuing to advertise??? Then the treat we ordered was dropped on the floor and wasted. We ordered 2 milk alternative drinks but weren’t asked about any allergies- dangerous and almost served a dairy drink! There are cobwebs hanging from the ceiling/ on the (not working) lights and the safety screen is filthy. Only good thing about it was we were undercharged.

Just pulled in quickly after work to get a drink. Staff attitude awful, so very rude. Practically threw the drink at me. Disgusting and unacceptable behaviour. I will not be using this starbucks again in a hurry.

Wow the reviews are so true. Could not be more dreadful if they tried. If you go through the drive thru expect your drink by to filled up the absolute maximum. So much so that it will spill all over you and your car. How can they employ so many dense people? Do they even have an interview process? If you can’t make a simple cup of coffee or tea you’ll still get a job here with ease. Shameful attempt at a coffee shop. They should be embarrassed.

Just been to grab a tea for the hubby, flatwhite for me and a sandwich, can't drink either the flat white is like tar, I don't have sugar in my coffee do I'm not a wimp but my god it's like there's 4 shots of coffee in it it's that bitter its awful undrinkable, I have flat white all the time from everywhere, 10 minutes later I've still got the aftertaste in my mouth from 1mouthfull it's awful and my hubbys tea is flavoured!!!!! I asked for tea with just milk, it came without lucky I opened the lid to check, so asked for the milk to be put in she looked at me gone out but put it in then when my hubby tasted it was nearly sick 🤮 how did they get both orders bloody wrong I was the only customer!!!?!! Totally put me off starbucks now

Don’t grab a coffee here if you are in a rush. Two staff members not in any rush to serve you. No manners disappointing for a great brand.

Absolutely worst flat white ever !!! youngsters serving with no manners and professional attitude. Definitely will not be stopping there again !

The staff have attitude problems!Just stopped to get some food and drinks from here. Asked for the panini to be hot. The girl who had just been emptying the bins and hadn’t washed her hands put it in the toaster for us!!!!! Health The guy doing drinks just pushed them towards you saying “here you go” in a I don’t care way. If you hate your job and don’t care about customers I suggest you quit your job!The worst service we have ever experienced from a Starbucks. Disgraceful.

Obviously no one from head office cares about this place. Polite but apathetic staff who need training. Staff standing about chatting despite dishes across restaurant. Toilets soaked and dirty. Broken chair, dirty mug and cobwebs right across ceiling and windows. Lots of comments across internet, but no change. Staff will clearly assume this standard of service and facilities is acceptable. Never again will we go to a Starbucks if this is what they accept for their brand. Happy to pay fancy prices for high quality food in a pleasant setting, but not for this.

The gents toilets are absolutely filthy. Despite their being four staff on, not doing a lot, the toilets were neglected. The long term grime in washing basin indicates it has not been cleaned for weeks. Floors were wet. The windows for drive through serving hatch were left open sending a cold, chilling air into the restaurant were several tables were being used. Indifferent staff...I tweeted Starbucks uk but they never replied so seems this franchise is left to do what ever they want....

Similar story to last time. Friendly and good service, but supervisor had hot tap on full-blast for ages rinsing out metal milk jugs. Was about to turn it off but then prioritised something else and left it running for another couple of minutes!

Stopped here on our way to Warwick and there were crumbs and debris all over the restaurant floor, tables laden with dirty pots and rubbish, and the ladies loo was even worse, as there was toilet paper all over the floor and none in the dispenser! There were 4 members of staff having a good chat behind the counter and unsurprisingly not one thought to clean the place! A disgrace. And, to add insult to injury I opted for a chilli cheese toastie, and my partner had the ham and cheese option, and 2 mini toasties and 2 medium coffees came to over £14!! NEVER again.

Having a quick coffee I have never really noticed music in a Starbucks before. However that just changed in this Starbucks beware intrusive rap music accompanies your flat white.

How can a Drive through establishment, on a busy A road close at 7pm, should be open 24 hours. After a disappointing evening at a badly organised Warwick Castle event, was rounded off with the disappointment of this place being closed.

Undermanned: 2 staff members - both polite but could do with some supervision. Messy tables, toilets in sh*t-state. All-in-all not so hygienic. Coffee ok.

Decent coffee and ok lemon cake, although guy initially forgot the cake. The 2 blokes serving seemed a bit dozy, so previous comment re prioritising drive-thru may be relevant, as both had headsets on.More concerned about their environmental credentials. Sink tap left running at full blast for several minutes for no apparent reason. And cake served with single-use plastic fork, even though coffee and cake in/on ceramic mug and plate. Surely, with so much focus on plastic waste, they could provide metal forks? They'll be washing dishes anyway.

When three people are all returning their drinks because they are largely cofee-free, you get the feeling it's not an unjustified view that it's rubbish here. Not asked if in or out again, then thrown out as soon as served because they are clossing. Maybe it would have been polite to tell me when I asked for a propper cup?

Priority given to drive-thru customers. Toilets not always the cleanest, but overall, this place is ok.

Drinks prep takes about four times as long as a city centre branch would. Preparation of two drinks took nearly ten minutes, and the first was almost cold by the time the second arrived.

Drive through today and yesterday ordered a black coffee both times had milk in. I'm allergic so complete waste of money. No one answers the phone!!!!

I always stop here - maybe twice a month! It’s clean, loos included, friendly efficient staff and good atmosphere.

When I went in most of the tables had used cups, plates and debris on them even though only two were occupied. The floor looked as though it hadn't been swept in days. Also, when I asked for a decaf they said they couldn't serve any because the machine was broken. Not what I would expect from a Starbucks! Won't be back.

We try to stop here every week on a Sunday evening for coffee and sandwiches. The restaurant never has the food that we ask for and they often close the drive thru due to lack of staff. Today it was simply closed at 6.30.... an hour early. Simply not good enough Starbucks!

Pulled in for a cup of coffee on the way to Stratford upon Avon. We both had a cup of Coffee which was not very nice and up set us for the rest of the day. The location is not on a motor way but motorway prices charged. No complimentary newspapers and not very pleasant staff. Will not be stopping here again. Think a lot more training needed.

We stopped here as a break on a long journey home from the Lake District. All we really wanted was a coffee and a sandwich. So how difficult should that have been? They had on the menu a new drink the 'Cordusio' which Starbucks themselves describe as "Prepared in a short size, two espresso shots are pulled over mocha, then topped with hot steamed milk and finished with cocoa powder topping." which sounded nice so we ordered two and a sandwich and ham and cheese toastie. All nice and simple.

Great location. Nice coffee, even better with a voucher for a free one. Plenty of parking and clean. Would go again.

A convenient stop for me having been diverted a few times because of traffic problems. The staff were very friendly and gave a good welcome. They were cleaning the place the entire time I was here. Good coffee as you’d expect. Food never worth writing home about but does the job. Smoked salmon bagel heated. Nice enough for a snack.

Starbucks devoid of customers, and all chairs on tables/sofas. But staff said it is open, and was indeed not even close to closing time. So I got a coffee from disinterested staff, cleared myself a space to share a sofa with a stool. Starbucks losing goodwill here.

Turned off main road to get a drink and use facilities.
