This was the most awful food I’ve ever ordered off just eat. It tastes awful supposed to be a meal and it was delivered in a burger box!!! If I could add a picture I would. I will never order from them again & I recommend to no-one

I agree with the reviewer who said this place has a charm of its own. I hadn't visited before and just wanted a light lunch. The proprietress rustled up fresh onion soup (I could hear the onion being chopped!). The cheese and croutons adorning the soup were functional rather than fancy, but the soup was excellent and justified the "bistro" claim. Give it a whirl!

This place is grim. Without exaggeration the worst food I’ve ever had delivered. “Cod” which tastes and smells like mackerel and is drenched in grease - served with rock hard chips Salad described as mixed leaf with red onion etc is just shredded lettuce and tomato Portion of chips is about 10 chips in a box The worst.

It was abject. Dire. Overpriced. Massively underwhelming. We had 2 coffees some halloumi and houmous. Cost just under £20. Food was insipid. Atmosphere non existent. Seriously this place has no redeeming features whatsoever. Go elsewhere.

Called in for drinks. They put water down for our dog as it was a hot day. Very friendly.

Worse lasagne ever, was told it was freshly made, definitely was not, was completely dry, tasteless and smelt weird, salad was not fresh, had started to turn brown, see picture below. plus portion was tiny (see picture) , definitely not worth £13.25, was worse than every frozen lasagne I have ever had.

The food wasn't very nice at all this time. The food was cold, the beans had spilled everywhere. The toast was inedible. The "cake of the day" was a dry almost stale pain au chocolate

Very convenient when passing through on the canal. Plenty of space for cycles. Indoor and sunny outdoor seating. Polite quick service. Rather than the usual runny egg, my sandwich had filling like a herb omelette, which was a welcome change. I appreciate some will just want the same old flavours and presentation. Very good value.

Ordered full English a few times ( on my day off from Work) best around by far great size portion fast delivery and best price on just eat or Uber eats , I’ve has an evening meal in the restaurant itself not too long ago again great food and excellent service !! Recommend

This is the place of the living in hell. The food is cold, moldy and nasty as are the owners. They are a threat to Romanian food and cuisine. Delicacies are an insult to my ancestral heritage, my uncle Sabba is now rolling in his grave. My dog ​​regurgitated this meal and looked better after! Poor Skipdu wouldn't eat such a bad dish! Damn the nominees!

Honestly loved my little stop here, it's a very specific place which has its own charm! Everything here reminds me of old fashioned 90' Europe cafes/bistro, starting from the Euro disco music, laminated menus, tables, pottery, chairs, service and.... Well everything really! Food was nice, simple and tastes good. Takes me back in time as well, feels like homemade too! Salad tastes like it was done from self grown veggies, something you don't experience that often anymore. I'll happily come back if I'll be around :D

Salad was £14.50 and I could have made it at home. Husband said the sauce on the ribs was ok but they were solid (I could hear him trying to bite the meat off) The cake seemed like it has just been bought from a standard shop and put in a box. Wouldn’t recommend at all, for the price I would have expected far better quality. We could have eaten out and had better at this cost.

I went here and tried the all-day breakfast and was left feeling a but weird. It was an English Breakfast and was made up of questionable flavours. Were to start. Bacon was nice but lacerated (looked like it was cut into pieces) Toast was hard and cold almost like it was stale, Egg was over cooked and greasy Half a baby mushroom Baked Beans were nice - that was about it. The worst was the sausage it had a granny texture. I couldn't eat it had a strange taste. Overall was very taken back by this one, one of the worst breakfasts I have ever had. Maybe try something else on the menu should anyone visit. My breakfast experience wasn't great.

went there a long long time ago and the place smelled bad. the food was not fresh, staff was rude when said that I'm not used to cucumber pickled in vinegar.

Came in for a full English breakfast. The food was good, and good value too (especially with a student discount). The owner was very friendly and looked after me well. A gem in South Leamington for sure

Food was tasty but disappointed in burger as no way was it 12oz! Also lemon slice wasn't- came as 2 tartlets which seemed mainly to be yoghurt.

It's been several years since I ate here, now under new management but previously this place was very good, now it is first class. There are now many more options on the breakfast menu and it the food is amazing. The staff are first class, and the food is cooked to perfection. Highly recommended.

that shawarma doesn't deserve money, expensive and stupid, and in addition it says that it's with everything, but it's not like that, it doesn't even have onions in it. I will never take Shawarma from them again. It is also small and has no taste of shawarma.

Ribs were appalling quality for the money, they were unbelievably tough. They threw in a free brioche though.

Salad missing from order.Half of the pork was chunks of pure fat.Listed as "sausages"in my meal but was actualy small pieces of sliced sausage.Disapointed

Paid £20 for 2 very, VERY poor breakfasts. As I also spent £1.99 for a tango which I think is horrifically expensive for it to arrive as a multi pack can with the words written on the top 2 cans for £1, that was a little bit of a kick in the teeth. Will not be ordering from here again.

The bacon was a bit burnt and both breakfasts were missing a rasher; I’ve not complained as it’s not worth it for 2 rashers of bacon.

Decided to get a coffee with free cake. Cake was a prepackaged brioche bun...decided to get a lemon slice to go with. Coffee was burnt and not great, wouldn't have left review if it werent for the fact that the lemon slice had mould all over the side and defintely smelt off! Whats more there were fresh cakes on the back counter but we were only given the choice between a free packaged brioche bun or a lemon slice. Not a good way to try and cut your losses or promote your business by selling mouldy food.....

We wanted a taste of home and we ordered Sarmale and Bean soup through Deliveroo. They were pretty expensive - £9 and £8 respectively so we thought "Oh, maybe the portions are big". Well, not really. We got a small soup which is not enough for even one person. The soup was fine but I've tried better. Then the sarmale... Five small sarmale with mamaliga... This was an absolute disgrace! I would've been happy if they at least tasted exceptional but no, unfortunately, they were pretty average. I wouldn't be so angry if I didn't have a base for reference - the Romanian restaurant in Coventry "Hanul Domnesc". There for a bit more than £6 you can get either double the amount of beans with smoked meat or more sarmale and the taste is much better. Overall, below average food for extortionate prices. Would not recommend! If you want actual Romanian food, try "Hanul Domnesc" in Coventry.

Such an beautiful outside area, the owner was lovely giving free cake with your coffee just shows amazing quality of service and pride when running a cafe, I had a hummus sandwich which was incredible and one of the best lattes I’ve ever had. Support your local businesses I will definitely make this my new regular spot

Not a lot for what you pay.. supposedly two rashers of bacon, absolutely was not, and one slice of the end of the loaf of bread that was rock hard

Shame on you, all the reviews are full of shit, the food is execrable, I was a customer only once, the second time I will order food for euthanized animals from you. I have read your response to customers who have rightly left a comment being unhappy with what they received as what you call food. Unfortunately, your character proves that you have nothing to do with common sense or good taste.

I ordered bbq pork ribs but had no sauce with them had to put my own on which was disappointing seen as I paid nearly £15 each for them and the salad was just shredded lettuce so should be advertised as that not as a salad. Really not impressed with quality and presentation of food had better from maccies defo not ordering again.

not worth the money .... salad was sloppy, some stale bread slices topped the whole thing .... for £12.50 per head I expected restaurant quality! small portion too, I expected lots of crispy lettuce, some sliced avocado, prawns, and a big portion for the money- we got the tomatoes, but the rest was poor quality - and why they put two pain au chocolat in, I am not sure, but it didn't make up for the rubbish salad!

I bought a meal for my son as a treat as I cannot be there. He said it was great, arrived on time too.

Delivery driver did not observe social distancing instead standing right in the doorway expecting me to get food out of bag he was holding. Food was not of quality expected for the cost, it was dry, salad consisted of a couple of green leaves, chicken was wafer thin, chips over cooked. Over priced and low quality.

Well they forgot one of the meals, which he did refund me for but my daughter went without her meal. Do not expect a gourmet meal, even though these are restaurant prices! The food is of ok quality but certainly doesn’t reflect the price you pay. I was very disappointed with this meal and so was my partner!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Food is not as described/advertised. The quality of the food is absolutely disgusting!

Order a meal for 5 of us. £10 each spent 50 pound for food that I would not even feed to my dogs. No one ate it and quiet frankly if I could get a refund I would. The food was cold, it was lacking in any kind of quality and appeared to be thrown together without any thought for the customers. In addition there were items missing from the order. Best bit about the food was the drinks that came with them. Luckily they seem to be the only item that the shop didn't make or heat up themselve. Final review. Do not eat or order from here. Plenty places with better food for value.

I'm sorry but I can't rate this bistro. One I didn't get any salad, although I ordered it with salad. Two the chicken smelt awful and was over cooked and very dry, it went into the bin along with the great chips. I will NEVER order food from here again. So give it no stars at all. A total waste of my money. Not happy at all. Couldn't submit without giving one star.

Ordered the tochitura and have to say probably the most surprising and best takeaway dishes I have had in leamington. Absolutely reccomend it is delicious and will definitely be ordering on repeat! Excellent food and different to anything else on offer on just eat in leamington! 6/5

Frozen food , chips and “mici” , they don t offer value for money , venue needs updating, complete rip off! Avoid!

The food is nice (the ribs not so much), however I thought it was fairly overpriced. Almost £10 for two sausages and standard frozen fries for example. I did enjoy the meal on the whole but not good value for money. I won't be ordering again at these prices.

Have ordered from here numerous times... Food very good tho it could be warmer when it arrives. I have an awkward order and they always get it right, unlike many other places, so kudos for that! My one complaint is that the restaurant adds some kind of hot rag into the bags to try and keep it warm but this just causes the food boxes to get soaked in condensation! It’s kinda gross and doesn’t really help so I wish they’d stop doing this!

Pathetic portion sizes for the price,no toast with the fried breakfast cheap sausages,the egg and bacon were moulded together , fish with the chips were probably from iceland,!!

Friendly staff made us feel at home. It's not a fancy restaurant but the food tasted like I would hope for an authentic 'taste of home'. Home-made sausage was excellent.

An honest review, we don’t know anyone associated with this business haha: I’m English and I took my Romanian husband here for a surprise treat. The food was ok, although it was all frozen (not prepared fresh). He had a starter and a main with juice and I had a main and dessert, with Romanian beer. We thought the bill of £37 a bit extreme for the food quality and the bistro (environment) itself didn’t warrant the price, so we won’t be returning anytime soon - sorry and good luck!

Little hidden gem in Leamington spa. Very good food and good service in a family run restaurant offering a selection of Romanian traditional cuisine and international cuisine cooked to perfection by Liviu and his wife.

The food is tasty, respecting the cuisine it represents, a bit salty for my taste, but it Might be a regional thing... The products I was told were fresh, prepared in house, Price wise I am not sure, as specific restaurant are not to be find in the area,

The traditional Romanian cuisine is truly magnificent. My family visit to this restaurant was really great. The restaurant staff were very friendly. I recommend to try cookies in the house. I'm sure no one regrets that he visited this restaurant. Good appetite for everyone.

Walking on Brunswick St., crossing the Grand Union Canal you walk straight in to Clemens Street. Right away you feel you are in another place. The street looks the same, the houses are the same, but, none the less, it feels like you're in another country. It's a certain flavor in the air, an oriental incense. You look around, wondering where is this coming from, and right away you see a foreign flag. If you google it on your phone, it's the flag of Romania. The establishment doesn't look like much, it's simple at best. But you get drawn by the smell and enter the restaurant. "Lina Bistro" it's written above the entrance. The place is cozy. The people are warm, they welcome you, they sit you in the best possible place, although there are a few persons in already. The food sounds strange, and comes in lute pottery with foreign models. But the taste is incredible. It's a whole nother culture opening up to you. You leave feeling full, but yet wanting more. You will come back.

Nice tasty food. Quantity is more than expected. One dish normally serves for two. Visited quite often, always had a great experience.

The food was delicious and the staff was extremely welcoming. The place is small but not crowded, expresses romanian tradition at its best( even the dishes were traditional) and the most important, the place is clean. The food was brought to us fast and they also have discount for students which is a plus. We will definitely come back again! :)

Very good food, real tradițional romanian food with very friendlly staff. We had tripe soup au starter and smoked pork chops as mains which was very very delicious. Tradițional smoked meat. Best in town !!! We will come back again.
