We love this Starbucks, and would choose it over most of the chain in this country. We’ve been coming here for over four years. Jake served us at the till with a smile, and manager Agnes made us delicious pumpkin coffees. Yes, the cleanliness could improve, but then again how many chain cafe are out there that are busy AND pristine? Can’t think of one that I’ve seen yet. And yes, I can think of a couple of staff that don’t always have a smile on their faces, but then again neither do I. Never had a bad service here, we’ll be back again soon.

Female worker was unfriendly and seemed intent on saying as little to us as possible (basically the price and that was it). She made us feel like an inconvenience and people with that attitude shouldn’t be employed in a customer-facing role. The only suitable table for my Mum and I to sit at had dirty cups from previous customers, so we politely asked the surly server if this could be cleaned (it should have been cleaned already, particularly because the staff weren’t busy due to lack of customers however they seemed disinterested in actually doing their job). Our drinks were nice, and decent value for money. Seating area was chilly due to external doors being left open for the entirety of our visit.

If you were measuring ‘customer experience’ at almost any level, you would barely give Starbucks, in Solihull Retail Park, a rating of 1 out of 100. In terms of welcoming, attentive staff, there are none that we met … in terms of surroundings / ambiance, this place is seriously dirty and a testament to ‘how NOT to do it’s … in terms of coffee, it’s weak / watery and was given to me partly in the saucer … in terms of ‘the toilets’ there was no toilet paper and the corners of the floor were festering in filth. Why would anybody ever go here? How do they stay in business? (Could it be ‘lack of competition?’ )

So horrible, Lady working there today wouldn't even let me put my bag down before ordering. So rude and so much attitude. Never going again

You really need to mystery shop this place. Staff chatting behind the counter while customers are queuing. Then one of them decided to turn around and serve us. The floors. Tables and chairs are disgusting and filthy. I was hoping it would improve from the last visit but it hasn’t so won’t be back.

Asked them if the oat milk was gluten free, they assured me it was. The milk contained gluten. Did not offer to show me the allergens book or even the milk carton. Staff look bored and stand around instead of serving.

Drinks were great but upstairs and downstairs every table was full of empty cups and wrappers, the tables were sticky and the floor was not swept at all

I've been here twice and each time, it has been REALLY dirty. Filthy tables, cold, food and litter on the floor. Not particularly friendly service either.

The dirtiest cafe we have ever visited. In every direction there was spilled food and discarded wrapping. The place was almost empty so just no excuse.

Starbucks retail park Solihull always freezing cold. Either the door is open or there is no heating. Very miserable.

Visited Starbucks Solihull today. Upstairs most of the tables were filthy. Food on the floor. Nobody cleaning up. Disgrace and should be reported to environmental health.

Charlie always goes above and beyond and is such a lovely member of staff. Brilliant service as always!

Service at till fine downhill after that. Drinks made in no particular order and poorly made. Had my favourite Iced brown sugar oat expresso- so badly made. Had only shown it the oat milk and then told the customer behind me that they had run out of oat. The oat balances the drink but this was horrible!

Service is always friendly and efficient at the Starbucks outlet at the Village hotel Solihull, with a great vibe in the lobby and range of tasty food

Great service on all our drinks, made really fast, really nice and kept very clean by luke who was constantly working to clear drinks and keep tables tidy upstairs!

Went with granddaughters who were desperate to try the pink drink heavily pushed by “influencers” on You Tube - awful service - awful drinks (£8 for two glasses of water with blood clots floating on top). Emailed to complain - didn’t hear a thing back. Never going to Starbucks ever again.

I always receive great service at this Starbucks and have been visiting for as long as i can remember. One of my favourite and most appreciated visits was when i had my first pumpkin spiced latte of the year made by Jake, and had the best customer service to date. However, to top this off, after a long day studying at university and just craving an peach iced tea to sit down and study with- I just can’t express how delightful the customer service is. I just want to give a shoutout to not only Jake who I’ve mentioned before but Charlie also. SUCH. GOOD. SERVICE. When waiting in line he held conversation with me, respectfully asking about my day and making me laugh whilst you could tell he dedicated his craft to make my drink. Now, this seems in depth, yet I must express how much I appreciate it when someone puts so much dedication into not only making an ordered drink, yet to also ask about your day. The respect and effort it means so much to hear. It is common human decency that we no longer see as much in society- yet this Starbucks always fulfils my expectations and I consistently leave a very happy customer. Thank you Charlie and the team your amazing! I definitely recommend visiting with a friend, to study, to read, or even just sit with a book; you’ll be welcomed with open arms. (Plus I definitely recommend the Christmas drinks appropriate for the season!)

What a s..t hole. Filthy floors tables and seats. Staff could not give a toss.Toasted sandwiches incorrectly labeled so my 5 cheeses initially came as a ham and cheese. Asked staff for a 5 cheeses toated sandwich, waited 10 minutes, went back to staff, they hadn't put sandwich on. 10 minutes later a sandwich was brought over which I can only describe as disgusting. It had been microwaved, it was wet,slimy could not eat it ! My wife's latte was like warm, she asked for more hot milk, it had Christmas spice in it so she didn't drink it. Overall a s..t experience ! STARBUCKS YOU NEED TO GET YOUR FINGER OUT WAKE UP AND GIVE THE PUBLIC SOME RESPECT

I always receive such amazing service from this Starbucks, the staff go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect and as a regular customer I’m always happy after visiting. Charlie, both Jakes and Dale provide quick and friendly service and are a credit to the company :)

Service was slow, staff were not particularly polite or friendly and several tables were dirty. Opted to take away instead.

This is for the Starbucks at Sears Park. Although the food & drinks were okay, tables were dirty & not cleared away. Floors were filthy. Starbucks maintains that it does wonders for community but plastic cups and cutlery are used. We should not be doing this for the environment. There is no excuse!

Just been to this Starbucks to grab two matcha lattes, whilst in there there was a very rude American woman shouting at the staff, being very rude and making a scene.

Sadly I frequent Starbucks quite a bit with my live if their skinny latte’s. On this occasion the service was poor, my daughter ordered a bacon roll, which arrived at the counter some 15... yes 15 minutes before our drinks....

I recently bought 4 packets of coffee beans and was charged £28!! On querying this the revised bill came to just under £21, including 2 chocolate coins. Many people are in a hurry and may not notice such an overcharge. I will continue to buy coffee beans, but I will be careful to check the amount charged in future.

I don't normally use chain coffee shops, however I had a meeting in here. Sitting upstairs is a nice glass fronted front looking into the street and shopping area. Coffee was good, but could have been cleaner.

A real disgrace to The Starbucks chain. The place was clearly not been managed, dirty tables and crockery. Will definitely not be returning there and will use one of the other coffee shops. The manager clearly didn’t seem bothered.

I have reciewed this place before several months ago, and thought I would give them a chance again. On entering it wasnt very busy, so while daughter went to order I sat down. The place was filthy. It clearly is still not a priority to have someone on clean up after busy periods.

I don’t usually like to complain but I feel that this is very necessary.

Visited here on a Saturday afternoon , busy but manger was on hand to organise staff so customers were served very quickly. Coffee as delicious as ever :).

Too much of an ask to have cream in the fridge(always erratic with this request - unlike Costa, Nero & so many others). Cream was however in the room where cashing up was taking place so not accessible......again.

Jolly good tasting coffee here & tasty cakes or sandwiches. Pleasantly decorated & comfy chairs. The service is quick & all the staff are polite & very pleasant.

Regular user of coffee shops as out and about a lot. Have to say the Solihull branch has amazing staff, always friendly and smiling even at peak periods and the coffee is great.

i visited this store to meet with friends, the girl on the till was really friendly, she knew what to offer and explained what each drink was as I asked for her recomendation, then while I was waiting for my drink to be made the lady who was making it (I think she was the manageress) was super friendly she was chatty, bubbly and just overall refreshing. The upstairs seating is lovely on a sunny morning, huge windows and so relaxing being able to watch the world go by. I will definatley be returning!

Starbucks drinks are pretty much the same wherever you go in my opinion. However I did like this branch as the upstairs is quite spacious and comfy so don't be deceived by the size from the outside!

Popped in here to do some work over a coffee on Saturday morning having been let down by the wifi in Carulccios. Despite what I've read on here, I found the place to be clean (it was early to be fair) and the staff really friendly. There's a lot of seating space upstairs.

Quick friendly visit. Surprised at other comment. No issues and nice view from upstairs viewing bridge. Good people watching

Great location and perfect coffee but staff must really improve. Four of us from work went for a coffee after work and the person who served us at the till did not have any will to serve customers. There were 3 people behind the counter but only one was making coffees. It took over 15 mins to get our 4 standard coffees. Makeover last year is great but place is always untidy. I read somewhere that Starbucks sells experience and not just coffee, well, there is a lot of distance to cover to state that. Would return back because I love the coffee, but probably a take away

Very dismissive girl on the till.

Went in an hour and a half before close and apparently because they 'were nearly closing' they couldn't give me a proper cup. For the price they charge they should give a proper cup. They'd also closed the whole upstairs area where the chairs are actually comfortable, so I had to be cramped in a corner with a cup of boiling hot water and a tea bag I could have made at home. I was trying to work on my laptop so I needed a bigger table that I woudl've found upstairs.

It's a Starbucks selling the usual fare so no complaints there. In common though with a few Starbucks, the tables usually take forever to be cleared. The toilets are the dirtiest that I've encountered in a coffee shop so take a trip to the loo before you arrive as a precaution.

Disgusting, floor filthy with chewing gum stuck to it, the two chairs by the counter look like they've been taken out of a skip..staff have no pride...

Dragged in here by my 13 year old for her coffee drink. I went upstairs to find a seat while hubby and daughter got the drinks. *sigh* here we go again. My delight at seats by the window was soon stolen from me on seeing the disgusting state of the place, AGAIN. Starbucks clearly do not care about customers because if they did they would not allow people paying for premium coffees to attempt to sit in such squalor. Every seat was FILTHY. The floor was FILTHY. Everywhere I looked was dreadfully dirty. They clear tables now and again, but why not employ a youngster to clear tables and go round with a long handled dustpan and brush to keep the floor free from grot? and while you are at it CLEAN THE SEATS!!! i have had it with this place and would urge everyone to go elsewhere. If this is how they keep the public places, what state is the kitchen and coffee prep area?!? WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU, STARBUCKS?!

Saw some very negative reviews but we didn't have to wait long and staff very friendly. We sat upstairs.... very light and airy. Like the free coffee grounds idea for your garden! Excellent!

I think I contracted an infectious disease this place was so dirty! Every table on every level was covered with empty cups and mugs or spilt beverages. The floor was filthy and needed sweeping and mopping. And the toilets were of a third world state! It might have been understandable except for the three staff giggling and gossiping behind the counter instead of cleaning up and making the shop presentable for the few customers who were in. Seriously Starbucks, this was the dirtiest branch I have ever had the misfortune to visit. Clean up!

Went for a quick coffee today. Downstairs the tables were quite full, any empty were filled with used cups and plates. People were cleaning their own tables so we went upstairs. What a tip!! Hardly anybody up there, no staff at all and tables covered in used crockery. I shall not be visiting again!

Have not been here since before the refit. Thought I would see if it had improved the place. Hubby and daughter queued to get the coffees while I went upstairs to find somewhere to sit. It was a quiet day so I picked a set of seats next to the window. I had to sit side-saddle in one chair, and looking around, the others were the same.....filthy, marked, and clearly not wiped down ever. I wished I had bought wet wipes with me so I could clean where we were going to sit!!

Had a nice cappuccino after my haircut, looking sharp now I needed to celebrate, it is a clean and pleasant café, staff are pleasant and she smiled for me, the usual Starbucks menu, there is seating downstairs and also outside on the pedestrian street, but my favourite is to go upstairs to the comfortable seating and armchairs, sink down into them, but they get taken quickly by the windows, you can look down on everyone and watch them below while enjoying the coffee, people watching I suppose, there is also WIFI to tap away on my mobile phone...then it was away to the Tesla car showroom and other shops in Touchwood, a place I visit on occasion. A good visit I always return here.
