I Just bought a cappuccino today,extra shot and extra hot and taste was not good at all same don't have coffee inside From thus shop the taste is very bad. I very ups.t too much pay £4.80 get coffee not good . I remember I near buy from this woman before maybe just come new for inside shop. Make same dog eating

Food and drinks are great can't beat a gold costa

Helpful staff . I bought a coffee and ask for the coffee ground . The staff is so helpful , she also put two more bag to prevent the bag broke

You get the usual high standard of coffee, but the toasted sausage baps were very nice.

This Costa is clean and spacious and my coffee was hot and I had a delicious cheese and tomato toastie.

Good drive through if you want a quick drink or food

Looks a bit off-putting from outside.But is Gr8 inside.

Coffee was good, tables clean staff friendly.

When I got my order I asked for table to be cleared that previous customer had left. Waited for ages for someone to clean table...meanwhile drink got cold. Had to go back again waited in queue and then asked again for table to be cleaned. Then member of staff came cleared table but did not clean the table was dirty with lots of crumbs left there.

Bubble mango frappe - not one single bubble - only ordered 2 drinks as well and nobody else around so not rushed and pressured situation - an expensive disappointment

Another good Costa, odd entrance to car park but didn’t distract from a really nice clean place.

I visited today with my wife around 11am and was extremely disappointed to receive the service that e did. Trina is the reason why I am disappoited with the service we received. She was very dis-respectful towards us. When it was my turn she started serving us then left us is the middle and went to do something else more than once and there was no mention of the "sorry" to keep you. Instead she she pretended as if nothing has happened. She asked for £1.50 to be paid as a balance but when I asked how much she changed to £1.15. I heard her complaining to her colleague about me right in my face. Needless to say she had very unpleasant expressions on here face. Whe I was leaving I asked another staff about her name as she was busy serving someone else. Then she followed me to the car park as if I have stollen something. All in all this was a very unpleasant experience one which I was not expecting as I was there to relax with my wife. I hope treating us like this is nothing to do with how we look. I will be writing to Costa customer service about my experience too as I think this is very important for them to know as well.

Very poor cleanliness..ie dirty floors tables and stained chairs. The young lady that served me was very miserable and kept calling me "mate". Very unprofessional in my mind. The place was cold with everyone sitting around in their coats. Just a very un-welcoming place to be.

As a barista who works at Costa herself, I drive through this Costa quite often but today the lady at the drive thru was extremely rude. I came around 6/6:15ish today evening and while taking the order she was completely rude but my partner and I brushed it off. 2 drinks were ordered, a large latte a small cappuccino and 2 desserts. As we reached the window there was no acknowledgement of us, we payed and the large latte was made well but she handed me a small cappuccino which I knew there was something wrong as it was so heavy. She was quick to dismiss us and said bye but she forgot our desserts, so we reminded her and she went to get it. While she left to get it I took the lid off and my small cappuccino instead was the wettest latte ever filled to the brim dropped all over me and my partner. If I wasn't someone who worked at Costa I would've probably thought that was a cappuccino and drank it. Absolutely terrible service from this lady, and also the desserts were so dry, they need to be thrown away when they pass their day dots, not kept and served to customers rock hard. Absolutely appalling.

Popped in for a little breakfast. The staff were very friendly and the service was very good. Lots of different groups of people using the coffee shop

The service and products are just terrible. I'm literally just standing there waiting for food and its clear they have forgotten about me. The Toasted Sandwiches is terrible just overcooked and the prices is just overpriced for what its worth.. They just leave it in the oven so its just becomes rock hard. There needs to be a better system in place for busy times for lunch as I'd rather not go back there now.

Would love to know which lady made my tropical mango frappe. She answered my small requests and made it perfectly.

The way this so called manager Jamie treated his staff and talked to them ( young girls) is disgusting the way he acted towards consumers is a despicable he should not be in charge COSTA COFFEE SHOULD BE ASHAMED

Always closed when I arrive. Says it’s open until 9pm online. The sign at the shop says it’s open until 8pm, arrive at 7:30pm and it is closed.

It's a Costa, it does that it says on the tin.

Totally had it with Costa coffee,every branch the same,Knowle,Dorridge,balsall common Shirley Coffee always lukewarm,toasted sandwiches overcooked,cakes and pastries always seem to be stale and overpriced,disinterested staff Will find a small independent in future

Generic cafe. These chains are losing their appeal.when there are so many decent independents out there. Chains have overpriced products, especially where they have drive through outlets on main roads sewn up Nice coffee though.

Costa I find this is expensive for what you get

I came for a visit early on this week for the first time I went inside instead of the drive thru and the one member of staff was just not friendly when serving me and then when speaking to staff. There was a new girl who was clearly being trained by another women and the women on till was shouting orders at her, shaking her head when the girl replied ( I haven’t been shown them drinks yet) I feel bad for the poor girl. Lastly the drink was was too strong and bitter Costa coffee in Birmingham city centre is the one to go taste so much better!

It maybe another Costa however this one excels by its location just off the main road, has adequate parking and sometimes busy drive though. The decor and the layout is well designed with comfy seating all around, was greeted by the lovely friendly Amy who is prepared to engage with her customers, there is various choice of coffees, of different styles, there is a abundance of snacks, some wearing the M & S label. The store is clean tidy and especially the toilets are fit for purpose

Great service from bobbly staff

It's quite dark and gloomy in there, which is the first thing I noticed. I appreciate the effort to create a cozy environment, but it's just gloomy. Orders are completed quickly by the staff.

What a filthy dump tables full of cutlery trays cups saucers. Went up to staff asked her why tables are dirty she told me we ain’t got staff. WHAT. I wanted to walk out but my grandaughter said can we stay. We did spent £20 in there the first time I’ve ever been in a Costa and the last time

Ordered two Tuna and Cheese Melts and two decaff Lattes. The drinks were lukewarm and the Tuna Melts were not hot. The table next to us sent theirs back to be reheated!!!! The queue was getting longer and I am sure the lady operating the oven was not heating the food up long enough!!! It cost me over £15 - how can Costa get it so wrong. Unfortunately we were not able to stay to complain as had to rush off. Lukewarm drinks and food not heated properly totally unacceptable. Jillian Smith

I popped to the drive through on my way to work at a school. I asked to purchase several marshmallows, as I've recently become aware that they are now free of gelatine. Hannah served me and asked what they were for. She showed great interest and care when I mentioned a workshop I was doing and how the children were excited to try them. Hannah supplied individual cups for the children to have their experience of tasting them. This was so well received and the children were excited to take their little cups home with them afterwards. As Hannah so rightly said, even though it was a little treat, it meant something to the children.

Crowd here not diverse enough. Atmosphere a little suffocating. Solihull still in the 80s.

Top service!! The whole team is 10/10 on every level.

Slow service at the drive through

It said opened till 9 and when I went at 8:04 they said it's closed. Absolute shambles. Lying to me about the time and making me come all this way just to say that it's closed. I couldn't get to explain via the talking machine about their timetable - got cut off. Very disappointing.

Absolutely appalled at the service, went in and spent £20 with my girlfriend as a nice lunch before work. First of all my frapee was forgot about causing a 5 minute delay, which I did not mind. However after taking a seat outside on the benches some cream was spilt on the table from one of the drinks. After then moving inside due to it being cold, we was then approached by one of the members of staff with tissue roll and disinfectant spray and told to go outside and clean the cream off the table. After we questioned why we was asked to leave the shop and been told we were acting like children and was banned for appealing to oppose the member of staffs decision. Then after walking off my partner was not happy and proceeded to speak to the manager. The manager handled this well although there was no compensation towards the disrespect we felt due to us being apart of the younger generation. Overall not happy will not be returning

Excellent quick service as usual

The first thing I noticed was it's very dark and dingy in there. I understand trying to create a cosy atmosphere but it's just dark. Staff are quick to compete orders.

The drive through service is too slow - about 5-10 minutes per customer/car.

They have a lot of parking spaces.

Oh my god! I ordered a medium latte, it was barely warm. Took it back, in return I got a glass of froth. Seemed completely chaotic in there, staff running everywhere. Thought I'd go up market from my usual Gregg's breakfast, wish I'd saved the £3 and got better service. Won't be back.

Absolutely love having this costa so close to home and the drive thru is convenient too. The food is usually very well stocked. Shame medium cappuccinos are never filled to top of cup and are often not hot enough. Hope improvements can be made. M&S food collaboration is a great shout!

My self friend decided to visit this lovey place as we Costa Coffee fans. Ordered nearly £40 of snacks and coffee happy sitting there enjoying our cakes and coffee and I noticed of the staff member going around tables with some sandwiches didn’t think much of it as she was at English couples table chatting away happily and they took some sandwiches of the tray same happened at few other tables happily giving away sandwiches. Then came our table and the staff member told us the sandwiches we be out of date in evening and we would like any but she had no smile on her face and didn’t chat and couldn’t wait to get away I choose a small fruit tub but had to literally get up to grab the fruit tub as unlike the English couples she chatted with us she did could wait to get away fast enough. This is what I call underhanded RACISM. Did not expect this from Costa Cofffee.

Good Costa. Usual efficient staff. Usual Costa selection. Can get busy at times. The new range of M&S choices has extended the menu.

Ordered on the app, went to collect and got told there was no order. I was spoken to as if I was stupid and was asked "are you sure your at the right Costa" then all of a sudden they gave me my order. If they hadn't received it how did they know what I'd ordered. First time using the app, I won't use it again

A good place to have a nice coffee. A takeaway during the evening or night allows one to enjoy the nice lighting that is available now(November 2020). Also if you are into hot chocolate, try the Ruby hot chocolate. It was heavenly. Due to the current conditions, expect a delay at the drive through due to the car queuing up. They have brought out some cool coffees for Easter. Worth a try

Nice little costa coffee clean nice staff and hot coffee

Walked in today, the staff was nice but the costa itself was messy. There were left over used dishes on many tables. Tables were dirty and needed wiping. no one bothered to picked them up or clean the tables, customes were in and out, we had to pick someone dishes up and move them ourselves to another table. To to covid I'm really cautions on what I touch. If you know its Saturday then hire more staff out to keep it clean.I took pictures of the tables.

Not great at all. Ordered a skinny latte and a decaf Americano with milk. We ended up a caramel latte and non decaf americano with no milk. They couldn't have got it more wrong if they tried. Coffee machines looked really dirty and cups were not being washed up. Really won't be back. Well serves me right I went back. Safe to say it didn't surprise me, the staff couldn't look more uninterested on the customer. Thought i would give them a second chance. They won't get another 1.

Appreciate that they're short staffed. But to be stood waiting to be served whilst 4 members of staff are idly chatting away isn't good customer service

Drove 5 miles out to get coffee to find all the lights off and staff were leaving in their cars... closing time 9pm I arrived at the store 7.45pm ... very disappointing 😞

The staff is very nice and polite, we are regular customers and the place is always very clean and tidy. The staff is also really very nice, great in everything. Congratulations to all of you.

Too crowded and they have got rid of some of the seating

Coffee is often too hot, which makes the milk/soy bitter. It gets extremely busy on the weekend. Staff is always friendly and helpful
