Starbucks in Bromley

You will be standing in the queue and the staff which is mostly young girls. Are standing and just chatting away. And when they do eventually come and serve you the looks they give you. Then they make your order and they still chatting among them self and most of the time the order is wrong! I don’t say anything because what’s the point !!

Shop is always dirty, staff not friendly and have very high turnover, slow service, coffee is always hit or miss depending on who makes it. Always out of stock of certain things or coffee machines not working so can't buy anything but snacks/food.

We have been regular customers of Beckenham Starbucks for years and have had great relationships with the previous staff and loved our regular visits. However the place is now uninviting, dirty, poorly managed with staff who don’t care about their jobs. Staff walk past tables filled with dirty cups and plates and watch whilst customers clear the tables themselves. It is such a shame it’s gone so downhill. It used to have such a lovely welcoming atmosphere! Now the staff look annoyed when they have to do their jobs! The whole place needs a proper clean too!

Sunday afternoon, 5 members of staff, long queue waiting for their orders. Why? No pace, staff just drifting. I presume there’s no management in post today to ensure the staff get a shift on.

Went in on a Sunday morning, there were two members of staff behind the counter. It appeared to be the one with more experience training the other. She is not a great trainer, more interested in publicly and loudly explaining everything that was wrong rather than explaining how to do things abs making some coffee. It took for ever for them to make a simple cappuccino and even then it was badly made and bitter. Save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere, so many more friendly welcoming places on the high street.

Coffee great. Shame about the service. Staff not very friendly, hardly said two words to me. Staff did not seem to pay particular attention to my order and then made it incorrectly. I was made to feel an inconvenience because they got my drink wrong.Have been to so many other starbucks, with a friendlier atmosphere,wont return to the beckenham store in a hurry.

Very pleasant staff who welcomed me and had beautiful smiles on their faces making me feel at home and involved within the friendly atmosphere which surrounded us all. A worker named Junior served me twice and was very polite and efficient with our drinks, making sure you look after us as much as possible and treat us almost as if we were his friends. The tables were cleaned very regularly and social distancing guidelines were efficient too! Would definitely love to visit this place again.

What a great visit! I came here on Sunday afternoon with friends and was served by Junior who has a lovely smile and was very kind and helpful. The drinks were lovely and made quickly. Will definitely come. Tayla was also quite helpful.

Usually the cafe is very good and a nice atmosphere. I worked in the East Grinstead branch years ago just after university and so I know what customer standards are within the company, the training and also how customers can be at times. I pride myself on being patient and polite. What we don't want as customers is to feel un welcome or as if we are getting in the way. We come first. The rather big blonde haired girls with glasses was making some unfavourable comments about a customer within ear shot and was also talking to her mates as if it was some sort of lounge...It just felt very 'I can't be bothered really - in terms of her attitude'. The other server and manager were perfectly pleasant and professional. Of course I might be alone here, but I' ve only seen this girl a few times.

This is a huge shop with a smattering if furniturecaroynd the perimeter walls. Food & drink is of usual Starbucks standards, I have been in doctors waiting rooms that are more comfortable/inviting.

I have never been in such a dirty coffee bar as this. It was full of people on their lap tops and there was no where to sit. When we dashed for a table the chairs and the table were covered with crumbs and dirty crocs. Never again!

Rather lacking much ambience due to the long narrow shape of the cafe. All seats along the wall. Coffee as usual but the new filter offering was good. Some seats with bags on but without anyone using the chairs for our whole visit.

They do amazing coffee and the service is good! Absoloutely my favourite! I recommend the soya latte.

I been in the Starburks few times and I was always happy but this time the Staff was really bad. DIANA she didn't know what is LONG DOUBLE ESPRESSO and instead of ask me she was very rude and giving me bad look. If you don't know what is LONG DOUBLE ESPRESSO ask next time

On my first visit my pain au raisin was stale and my coffee ordered as a flat was overly frothy with less milk than a capucino. I asked for more milk and got a thimble extra. The coffee was bitter and rank. The staff seemed lacking in enthusiasm and energy as well as basic education about coffee orders. Second visit and the place is littered with rubbish on tables and floors. Our table was cleared but not cleansed and we had to ask for our table to be cleaned. It’s Christmas Eve but only 1 pm so really no excuse for the lack of any food items available and I’m not going to waste my money on another cup of p1ss poor coffee.I’ll sit through my wife and kids drinking their hot chocolates and then visit Nero for a decent cup of coffee.

I am a weekly customer who’s been coming here for couple years now with friends and We absolutely love it! The staff are extreamly friendly and positive. The hygiene is very good and the coffees are amazing. Shout out to Franky the manager, we love you.

I have been coming to this Starbucks almost every week since it opened. The coffee is great and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Coming here is the highlight of my week.

The coffee is fine. Most of the staff are young and struggle to hide their disillusionment. I don’t blame them but to hear the barista sigh as she took my order didn’t add much to my overall experience.The main issue for me is that the place is dirty. I’ve sat chatting for an hour and a half and no one clean the tables. Today my wife actually had to wipe ours down herself because the previous customers stuff was all over it. The chairs are stained and there were crumbs all over the floor. As I sat I could see old food which had fallen down the side of the armchair. The place just feels a bit grotty. It needs a good deep clean then the staff need to be shown how to maintain it properly.

I am really disappointed about this place. Full of cups everywhere. I ordered a gingerbread cappuccino which was made badly by living the nozzle inside the jug for the whole process which causing the milk to burnsecondly I have found a small coffee table full of other cups however as it was full of stuff , my coffee fell and all the coffee went on the floor so I could not even start drinking my coffeeI apologized and asked for a blue towel to clean however the lady came to clean and explained what happened .Although I explained I didn't even start to drink my coffee, she never offer to make at least another coffee. Thew 3.35 in the bin for a coffee I didn't even taste

Been in a few times because I really like the coffee but every single time I've stayed to enjoy my coffee I've had to sit in filthy sofas next to people camped out with their laptops and dozens of plates next to them. Some even with their shoes off cross legged like they're going to settle in for the night. The tables are nearly always cluttered with dirty crockery and I've never been able sit at a clean table. I am immunosuppressed and so I always feel like my health is going to be compromised because of the dirty nature of the place. I have never seen any one clear up in all my visits!!! Such a shame. I look to other places now along the highstreet that have slightly better standards.

As its a Starbucks you don't really need to know how the coffee tastes as its the same in all the other 1000's of Starbucks in the UK . The Beckenham branch looks nice with its black outside and the staff and coffee make process is good ... Only down side is you have to fight your way passed the buggies and push chairs and when i went i was surrounded by a few kids that we being let loose my their nattering parents ... Not Starbuck fault but it put me off.

Really enjoy there coffee and cakes. Lovely people serving with a smile. Hope to be in the area again soon.

I visited this shop on a cold Sunday morning. When I approached the counter I was served by two girls, who surprised me for their genuine smiles and for their politeness. The carrot cake i ordered was also good! They made my day...Thank you!

Its a good place to have morning coffee or evening visit had coffee and carrot cake, the staff friendly and its very clean place

Haven't been in since it opened as they had no disabled access. Today I rang the wheelchair bell outside expecting to be served a take away but I was proved wrong. A helpful young man arrived with a portable ramp which allowed me access !!! Another place I can have an inside coffee thank you.

The usual Starbucks experience but the coffee is reliable and the staff here are nice. Quite roomy inside and some comfy seating.
