Starbucks in East Hampshire

Terrible service and rude staff. Molly was very rude, if we are not allowed to bring in food even though we ordered coffee, she could at least say it in a polite way, we have kids with us, and the was she spoke to us, telling us off is our of order. Starbucks liphook, you have the the most terrible and poor customer service I have encountered in my 20+ years of working in hospitality.

Shockingly under trained and under staffed. Charging more for a coffee than nearly any other Starbucks I’ve been to, this branch is out of control . 15 mins waiting for a coffee with only 4 in front of me, this place is out of control. One of the staff overheard saying she’s going to cry that’s how bad it was, the other just clueless Sort it out management

I was extremely impressed by how clean and fresh the Starbucks was at this service station. All the staff are very attentive and friendly which is quite unusual when you have young Saturday staff. The toilets were clean with more than 1 loo which makes a fabulous change (also unusual when run by youngsters). We certainly will visit again rather than waiting until Ripley!

No washroom facilities and no prior notice of this on the door as you enter the premise. It only becomes apparent after you have ordered your food and drink and see the notice at the end of the service bar. When queried, a very rude and loud supposedly management person told us to try the gas station or go somewhere else. Luckily a more helpful member of staff explained better where we could find some. How this establishment is allowed to operate is anyone's guess. Even if you are desperate for refreshments or facilities, don't stop here, it's a miserable experience.

Heating oven broken .since the 20/12/2021 and staff advised they do not know when it will be repaired . 'Its almost Xmas so do not know when it wil be repaired' 21.12.21

Worst customer service I have ever seen. Staff not washing hands, seemingly no assigned roles which caused chaos and all of them moaning about how long their shift was.

Rude stuff , dirty toilet , rubbish 🗑 coffee and milk shake, drink not hot , fly every where, not clean at all

Rude stuff and rubbish coffee,,, I did try to use the toilet and the guy behind the till replyed with rude attitude saying the toilet out of order,,,,topical lazy people does bot wanna,do work ,,,, so stupid ,,,,

Friendly service team. Nice spacious Starbucks (no drive thru). Stopped for my usual latte en route to M25. First time at this road house Starbucks. Despite being New Years Day the team we’re welcoming and friendly. The branch was quiet. Coffee good as was the porridge. Nice place.

Great service, thanks Ange and Molly for the friendly service when I stopped for a quick coffee. Nice to have the name used that you ask for, personalises the experience. Great ambassadors for the brand.

Stopped for drinks and brunch whilst travelling along the A3 northbound. Plenty of parking that is free. Bought panini and gluten free panini which were toasted to order. The gluten free panini was cooked in its covering to prevent cross contamination which was very reassuring as a coeliac. Staff friendly but they were not proactive in cleaning tables even though it was quiet with only a handful of customers. Everywhere where we were seated was a bit ‘sticky’ and uncared for. Didn’t need to use toilet facilities but they were fairly good in the past.

Had a very good time. The facility is great and the staff were very helpful.The service was really good.

The dilapidated, trashed home right next to the Starbucks is frequently broken into for drug parties police. Starbucks is too cheap to buy/renovate the property and so the drive through though convenient, remains a negative experience. Go elsewhere. Cistas in Cobham perhaps?

Very disappointing. My egg and bacon muffin was tasteless. No sauces available. Iced mango tea should be challenged by the trades descriptions act. Mango juice and a lot of ice but tea in my vocabulary means an infusion of something. Musack too loud.

No ceramic cups to have in because Emmy couldn’t be bothered to wash them up as the dishwasher is broken. Overcharged and received no apology. No smile on arrival. Forgot about our toast so one of our party had already eaten before we got ours. Asked for an apology due to multiple f ups and Emmy refused. Very disappointing service.

Dont normally write these but hey, nice coffee and almond croissant, we stayed the night locally so wanted a good drink for our way home after our short break.

Friendly staff very helpful polite and well mannered very good and quick service I would defiantly recommend to friends and family I also like the fact they clean as they go.

We visited this Starbucks twice this weekend & both times found the cafe very clean. There was a good selection of snacks which were good as was the coffee. The staff were very friendly.

Staff are amazing and polite. Coffee and breakfast rolls great. However, the place is filthy. Wasn’t very busy but he’d to clear our own table and floors were covered. Love the tree tho🤗

A quick stop for lunch and found the staff very helpful and friendly. This could easily become my favourite Starbucks.

Pulled off the A3 at this service area, for a snack lunch. Apart from the Shell petrol station, this site is shared with a well known hotel chain. The site is absolutely filthy, littered with paper, plastic cartons, fag ends, you name it, it was there. The car park had not been swept for many, many months. The green areas were overgrown with Ragwort and the grass had not been cut this year, attaining a height of about one metre, right up to the walls of the Starbuck establishment itself. The paved area at the front had weeds growing through the joints. What a horrible site, we nearly turned away. Inside was not much better. Tables were uncleared, unwiped and crumby and remained so for the 15/20 minutes we were there. They were not even busy either. I had a chicken and bacon sandwich which was almost out of date. Taste? what taste. The single piece of lettuce had more taste than the rest put together. The bread was ok (ish) though. My wife had a 'croque monsieur', which she said was tasty. She enjoyed the coffee, I had a smoothy. Total bill, over £12!!! What a rip off.

Popped in after using the gym for a drink - tea for me and a large hibiscus drink with lemonade instead of water for my husband. The tea was OK, but why don't they have decaf tea? The hibiscus drink was not! The young man who served us filled almost the whole cup with ice, then put in the hibiscus squash and a little lemonade When my husband had finished the drink, the cup was still filled almost to the brim with ice. When we ordered, the young lady behind the counter asked her colleague if he knew how to make the drink; he answered he did, and then when he put in the ice, she told him it was too much and he said shush!! We will not be back!!!

Friendly convenient coffee shop, exactly what you expect from this chain. Good stop off from the A3.

Visited around 3.30. Friendly staff and comfortable and clean surroundings, toilets were clean and functional.

Usual Starbucks offerings - why does it take so long to buy a coffee in these places - gave me the wrong croissant so had to take it back - mucky outside windows - dirty toilets - not a good place to visit if you don't need a wee!

Cute and modern Starbucks cafe. I remember when it was the Little Chef and an all day breakfast was served on a plate. These days its served on a saucer and in a bap for speed and convenience. Not quite the American diner experience I was looking for...change isn't always progress. The Americano coffee was bitter and had an aftertaste. Staff were helpful and pleasant.

Standard Starbucks. Usual offering in an Unusual location which was lovely. Coffee nice cookies stale thus poor rating.

Always good to have a mid morning coffee I do need an extra shot so a tall is three shot latte and still nowhere near as strong as Nero's but it's a nice little place with outdoor seating and a enclosed seating outback. It looked clean and tidy if you like Americano I would skip this because it's not strong enough and watery. The cake selection is better then the coffee toasted fruit bread is excellent and great value. Staff polite but slight diffultitly understanding the young lady or us understanding us.

This review is for A3 Northbound near Ripley not Ascot branch. I was shocked how poor this place was, it's cleanliness is questionable to say the least, its coffee if you could call it that was some lukewarm liquid. The toastie at 2.99 was served up as a burnt offering and as for the bun if thrown would do some serious damage to a person or whatever it hit. Do not go here even if it was the last eatery on earth, you'll regret it.

Great coffee, croissants and service on the doorstep of Old Thorns Hotel and the cafe is clean and all breakfast pastries looked fresh and appetizing..

Love this Starbucks and will always stop off if I can hold off the morning coffee fix long enough to to wait to get there. Feels a lot cosier than many Starbucks' and is usually quiet with the motorway passing trade. Great coffee too!

Husband and I drive all the way to Liphook for this particular Starbucks twice a week because the customer service and ambiance is so good. Store is always immaculately clean, great music, and friendly staff. Nice big store with plenty of seating.

My (and my husband's) favourite place to go to round this area for a really good coffee. The place is kept pristine and the staff are always so friendly and helpful. I am made to feel welcome every time, and do not feel rushed to go, even after I have finished my drink, and still want to chat to my friends. I go there so often now (it is that good), that I am on first name terms with the staff, and it is lovely to be greeted by name as I walk in.

The usual Starbucks fare but it's the staff here who make it! They are always friendly and welcoming :)

I was staying at the nearby Metro hotel and it was convenient having a Starbucks right next door.

I take my daughter here after school sometimes for a treat. A good hot chocolate and coffee. You know what your're getting and close to home

Went Quickly for a coffee yesterday afternoon when I had to fill my car with petrol on the adjacent forecourt huge improvement from few weeks ago. Well done to the personnel there,,, See you soon.
