Most of the order was cold. Very poor quality food

I ordered a Balti as it didn’t have a chilli logo. This presumably should have been mild. It was so spicy I couldn’t eat it. I ordered 4 types of curry & all were so spicy hot I couldn’t eat any of them. If there had have been a place to write notes for the restaurant then I would have requested they be mild. I prefer to taste the spices in my curry; not just have my throat burn. Gutted

Amazing food, quick delivery, would order again and again

Every great apart from the amount of paneer in the dish. Everytime before got multiple pieces Only got two paneer pieces in the dish this time.

Great quality food again and again. I recommend trying the Zally Zully curry, yummy and with a nice kick 😋

The food was nice and warm, arived on time, very tasty and delicious mouth watering curry. My favourite was the samber curry it had a nice kick to it which i loved will defo recormended to try that to anyone. Must be honest the starter for 2 people is worth the price these days restarunt are expensive and charge alot more for 1 portion starter.

Chicken tikka massala - chicken was dry/chewy. Sag aloo - a lot of spinach and a bit of a heat kick to the Spuds, not bad. Peshawari naan - a bit doughy

Want our money back as the food that arrived wasn’t what we ordered missing rice !! When I connected the takeaways was spoken to very rude and had enough as they always pass the buck . I want a refund !

Food here is lovely, so flavourful. Chips are a bit naff but everything else was lovely. Staff accommodating when I requested a slight change to a curry's spice, will definitely order from here again.

All the positive reviews on here are true. The delivery chap was lovely and my meal arrived on time and was hot (no need to reheat). I will also say my curry was one of the nicest I’ve tasted. Full of flavour and just the right amount of spice. Definitely recommend Star of India - it’s now my go to curry place in Rossendale :o)

Food was delivered on time but came luke warm and chips cold. Couldn’t eat the raitha as it had separated. Don’t usually have an issue with the food quality as this is our go to, so I assume it was the 20 mins it took to deliver from restaurant.

This Indian is the best around the area. The food is always amazing. The delivery driver is so polite and friendly. My go too takeaway every time.

Having lived around here my whole life this was my first time trying this place. All I can say is I can’t believe it took this long! Will definitely be coming here more regularly. I never leave reviews but I enjoyed the food that much I felt like I had to.

Slight delay on pickup time. But the food was good, hot and tasty.

Now that Karahi hit the spot, has to be a different chief on sometimes as it was nearly completely different. I am not complaining just noticed is all, This Karahi was next level, I really enjoyed it and ate every bit, thanks guys ;)

Not sure if it was a different chef but my Karahi was not as good as the others I have had before? Might have just been an off day but still, my other Karahi's were 10/10 this last one was a 4/10. First time tho so will give benefit of the doubt....

We just moved into the area and tried this place for the first time. We have tried so many local places including Ramsbottom, this was by far the best of any we have tried. Hope that stay consistent because we will be returning for more! Thanks Star of India for an excellent meal!

Hands down the best Indian cuisine in the local area. I have tried nearly all of the curry houses over the years and Star of India is by far the highest quality. They are also consistently on time with food - another thing they are much better at than most places on Just Eat in Rossendale.

Quite possibly the best Indian Takeaway in Rawtenstall... Always top drawer! I highly recommend the Vindaloo, as the sauce is impeccable!
