The cafe no longer exists. Dont try to find it. there is no longer a Star cafe at the location. Enough said, surely? xxxxxxxxx

I have tried to order from this place twice through just eat over the past week. On both occasions Star Cafe canceled the order and issued a refund without providing any reason.....Maybe my order wasn't big enough......WTF! Such a shame as I was really looking forward to trying their food.

Lovely food, always walked by without realising they do Mediterranean food as well! But the food was great and Stacie was really friendly and welcoming, and the food was great also. Will definitely be going back.

Da ich aus Deutschland bin kenne ich viele Türkische Restaurants aber das war das beste was ich bisher gegessen habe. Also wer in Paignton ist oder in der Nähe sollte auf jeden Fall für ein Türkisches Abendessen reinschauen. Alle die dort arbeiten sind super freundlich. Ich werde auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

We had read about this cafe on TripAdvisor, so decided to give it a try. What a find. They are a good cross of English cuisine and Turkish cuisine, but we went for the Mediterranean Breakfast which was absolutely outstanding. Thoroughly recommend it. The staff are welcoming, and a delight to interact with too. Great dining experience.

This place is amazing. It is like you have been invited to eat with a Turkish family who could not be more passionate about what they do and want to share their great food with you. My son enjoyed the milkshake he ordered another for pudding. My daughter devoured the chicken shish that was beautifully spiced and juicy. My partner who I was treating for his 50th has literally been converted to cheeses he always thought he didn't like halloumi and Feta, but these were absolutely the freshest and tastiest I've ever had (feta spinach parcels like sweet and salty mousse.. So light and creamy, not at all 'goaty' as he usually put it! ') he couldn't stop eating! The salad is a big deal for me. I can't bear a half wilted garnish chucked on a plate. This was truly amazing, tasty and plentiful. My son devoured the amazing dips. He loved the hummus and falafel and the minty cucumber ones. I loved the aubergine dip and the fresh chunky beetroot dip . The 1 large shish and mixed sharing platter was ample food for 4 of us. We were too tempted by baklava and had 1 each for pud. It was warm which I've never had before but this was nice with the side of icecream and I shall try at home. We weren't aware it was free corkage and nearly walked back to shop to get a drink for my partner but Stacie found a beer left behind from customer and gave that free to my husband. The children had free sweeties after eating their diner too. So kind, thank you. The British food coming out looked very tasty too, but if you can, eat the Turkish menu... Its so autherntic, fresh and tasty a burger and chips doesn't compare in my opinion. Don't be put off by location, it isn't posh but the cafe is clean and welcoming. There is ample parking in next street that's free after 6pm and lots of people are coming and going to the many eateries in the area which is surely popular with the locals over the more touristy spots on the seafront. Thank you guys for a great night. Stacie you are a lovely lady who really is passionate about customers happiness. Thank you for making my partner Dave's 50th a night to remember. Lovely family ran cafe. The food is always good, they are great with children and very friendly. I highly recommend their Meze and they even do it takeaway now. A hidden gem in Paignton.

This is is the second time visiting here for an evening meal and it was fantastic. The service is brilliant and very friendly. You can take your own alcohol and pay a small charge for corkage which is great. The food is amazing. The flavours and freshness of the salad are brilliant with very generous portion sizes. We ordered a vegan meze platter and a lamb kebab. The kebab came with a garlic mayo and a chili sauce, chips and salad. The vegan meze platter was an assortment of various dishes. One of these was boruk which was a pastry parcel with vegan cheese. We were given a complimentary parcel with regular cheese to try and see the difference between this and the vegan one. Highly recommended place to visit.

I visited on 14th February 2023 with my two children. I was so impressed with the service and the food was outstanding. Stacey was so lovely and went over and beyond to make sure we had a good meal. Such a warm and friendly cafe. We will definitely be returning on our next trip to Devon
