Star Cafe in Wyre

Early Saturday morning 15 Jun 2024. Lovely coffee and the chips were fresh hot and tasty. The cheese in the panini wasn't that good, hence why no 5 stars. But lovely cafe and the staff were great so will defo be back.

Your food is not good it is not nice food it is cold food and it a not good cafe not warm the cafe is very very very not good cafe to go there this is true

Horrendous!!! No other words for it! First they forgot the beans and tomatoes, then charged extra for tomatoes after saying they were included, then made us wait 10 mins for them to do the beans so breakfasts ended up cold. Sausages were just awful, bread tasted like sick/gone off milk and the bacon was like it had been cooked 3 times over. It literally snapped in you mouth. To say we paid £35 for 2 large breakfast, 1 regular breakfast and 1 slice of cheese on toast which the cheese was burnt to a crisp is just disgusting! Would avoid at all costs!

Poor breakfast baps,ordered 2 bacon & egg Barmston plus 2 lattes. Asked for 1 with well done egg,1 runny yolk. Both arrived well done eggs, baps tasted sweet, waitress pleasant and polite

Love popping into the Star for hot drinks, snacks and the occasional breakfast. Food freshly cooked to our preferences, the best mug of tea around and friendly staff. Always feel welcome and it is probably the best value cafe we go in.

Colin and I went in just to find out what the breakfasts were like, Colin had the Chef's Special breakfast, and I had the full English, which both meals were made to order and made to how both of us liked them, we'll definitely be going back again.

Great food and service, the food is piping hot, the major downfall to the cafe is the door being being left open letting the noise, cold and all the smoke from the smokers outside. Staff don't shut the door either

I treated my mum to a breakfast treat on her birthday after she was very scared of venturing to a crowded place after lockdown. What a great choice, spacious, spotlessly clean, and above all friendly staff. Absolutely fantastic and we will definately be back Thank you

We decided to have a take-away. the food was simply lush, fresh homemade, and tasty, delivery was very to also as though it had been served straight from the kitchen to the table.

NOT COVID FRIENDLY NO TEST N TRACE AND NO TABLE SERVICE they do not follow government guide lines. This isn’t somewhere I’d recommended during this pandemic

Lovely cafe in center of Cleveleys. The owner and chef are always helpful. If you need to change anything from the menu just ask. Very good food for the price. Definitely well worth a visit.

The staff are attentive here. They take an interest in their job and you as a customer. Good food and good prices. Fairly spacious too. Toilet handy although cold to sit on 😳. In a good area next to the post office.

Upon arriving this establishment as I was waiting to be served I looked around and I swear I saw insects crawling over the cakes?? Not my thing but a bugs life might be someone else's. As I was trying to order my food a young lady with long black hair was really rude to me even swore at me. I sat down to a table waiting for my tea as the lady brought it over there was spit floating at the top I said I'm leaving and they refused to give me my money back. Disgusten!!

A lovely cafe with lovely food. After searching for a place that does an "all day breakfast" we found it! The lady that served us was really nice. Our food was great and served hot. Nice pots of tea. Next time we are in the area we will return.

Great place for a coffee and the best bacon barm ever staff very friendly and helpful, I would recommend this cafe

We had a breakfast special and a chefs special consisting of chips bacon eggs lamb &pork chops beans sausage and mushrooms , two coffees £11.40 well worth it .Had a small wait but the food was cooked FRESH as you can see when fetch to the table. The waitress Mavis made us very wellcome .And most of all very Clean.

Went in for a coffee after a shopping trip, lovely little cafe, staff really pleasant and helpful will go again next time I am in the area

Well that's the best breakfast had for a long time. It was hot fresh and a good price £6 full English with a brew excellent 5star keep up the good work will be back shortly

Found this cafe by accident, glad we did as this is the best cafe We've been into for a long time , quality food at great prices. Friendly staff and located next to tram stop. Two visits in five days break, will return next time We are in the area.

We popped in this cafe for a quick bit to eat as it seemed to be doing a bit and was clean and staff seemed pleasant. Menu is varied and the breakfasts seem to be be good value and are served all day. We ordered panini with sausage and onion and one with chicken and cheese both came with salad garnish and a portion of chips to share also a pot of tea for two. We waited around fifteen mins and no sign of food or tea my husband had to pop out to move car as we thought we would be struggling to eat our lunch and get to car before car park was up two mins after he left the food arrived and had to ask if they could keep his panini warm which they did. It was a good ten mins or so before he came back I had covered the chips with serviette so not too bad I asked for his food and also for our pot of tea which had now been half an hour since we ordered it! THe food and cost were brill just the service a bit on the slow side. Would try again when visiting Cleveleys if only to see if slow service was only on this day!

Popped in for lunch when on holiday. Lovely clean little place, with varied menu and friendly staff. I had sausage and onion Panini with chips, hubby cheeseburger and chips and little one had nuggets meal. All with drinks came to around £14 and was super tasty. Ideal. Will def pop in next time in area

Called in with my children for a brunch.... Have to say.. really nice cafe.. staff very friendly and the food was good. Sausages could do with an upgrade to better quality instead of cheap ones. Other than that, very pleased with it. Will go again.

We found this Café when we visited Cleveleys last year. Quite simply. The cooking is excellent and food is delicious. The owners are very nice welcoming people. We had one or two laughs with them. There are one or two Cafe's which we have been in around Cleveleys which we will not return to. But this one is just right for my wife and I.

Just called in for a snack. Good spotlessly clean unpretentious cafe serving up the normal staples to a high standard. A couple of minutes away from the main shopping area, just across the main road. Worth it.

Fantastic cafe truly excellent food and very friendly and welcoming staff. Lots of nice little touches and superb value for money.

Went here on a Saturday afternoon for lunch i had jacket potato with my dad and my mum had the gammon she really enjoyed hers although she did say the chips was a little over done but the food and portion sizes was spot on. The prices are reasonable too. I recommend this cafe to everyone you will not be disappointed.

A really quick service with a delicious breakfast! Just what I needed after late night and an early start! Would definitely recommend!

Started using this Cafe all the time as a wk end treat for breakfast, Never had anything bad always very nice and very hot. Best thing is they open now on Sundays which is perfect.... Well worth the visit for everybody delicious food.

We missed this one last time we visited as it was shut. Name change, new owners and redecorated we ordered our mushroom omelette and jacket with chilli. Both came with a good quality side salad and our food was piping hot and lovely.

We visited the cafe and was very happy, The food was very nice infact out of the cafes around Cleveleys and Blackpool area I would go as far as to say this was my best. Plenty of choice plenty on your plate too and the prices are really good too, well worth crossing the tram tracks to visit... We will be returning as the staff and owner was very nice and polite. Especially our waitress Chloe I think her name was.

Every time we go to this café the food is well cooked and served by a nice young lady named Chloe. Be aware that you have to wait a while for the food to be cooked fresh for you and allow extra time. The liver and bacon remains my husbands choice. Friday all meals are half price up to Christmas.

We found this place last year and on our annual trip for the Illuminations we decided to go back. We stay room only in a hotel and catch the tram for breakfast. We were not let down! The cafe has changed inside, but the has no impact on the food or service. We went both mornings for breakfast and the food was delicious. I had a regular breakfast with black pudding and my husband had a sausage sandwich. The food is cooked freshly and service was great. Despite signs saying order at counter, we were served at our table. Will be back next year!

Friendly people and good food cheap as opposed to good cheap food. Ideal for solos, couples or families. Clean with nice atmosphere. Well worth a try!

Inside refurbished and with laminate flooring feels more light and airy. Went in to kill some time and had a pot of tea and tea cake which were both excellent.

Had time to kill so called in for tea and tea cake. Pleasantly surprised to find updated offering with laminated flooring making a bright and open feel. Tea can be had by cup or pot - meaning you can have a stronger cuppa
