Amazing pub with great atmosphere and lovely staff. Football nights, karaoke nights, quiz nights, and comedy nights are all brilliant. Proper local pub.

2 landlady’s are lovely really turned the pub around.

Proper pub. Great for the football. Karaoke on Friday, live acts Saturday and a new comedy night monthly. Only downside is no food!

Cosy place, Great place for a quiet pint or a bit of the craic, Sharon is the new landlady and is doing a fantastic job, by the way I dont do Karaoke but get down there and enjoy the athmosphere

Fantastic pub and so welcoming. Run by two lovely sisters who run the place with a cool, relaxed atmosphere. The pub is very friendly. Would recommend a drink here anytime, it feels very safe.

Lovely little pub, amazing staff and at the moment they have Trooper ale every Wednesday until Sunday. Competitive prices, a welcoming atmosphere and most Saturdays they have a range of live music or a dj in house, can tell the staff really care about the consumers and go above and beyond to keep people happy and entertained, oh and did I mention the Trooper Ale? 😉

Great friendly pub staff are as warm amd welcoming as the open fire there and friendly too as are the people that drink there prices are very good and competitive by far the best pint of guiness and trooper ale you can get in liscard (trooper ale is on from Wednesday to Sunday atm and the cheapest place i have brought a pint of trooper for too) a great pub with a wonderful atmosphere friendly somewhere you will definitely want to visit again and bring your family.

They only have one member if staff in who is run ragged She is amazing though and you hardly have to wait The customers are really good as well as they help out Lovely friendly atmosphere

Best pub in Wallasey by far. The atmosphere is amazing, and the entertainment is brill. The drink prices are great, and the bar staff are so warm and welcoming.

Came here for a couple of drinks with my boyfriend and my friend, new owners are very friendly and welcoming, lovely homely atmosphere nice and relaxed. Stanley's was a great little boozer, but now that Marg, Cath, Dyl and the team are running the show it's gonna be IMENSE!!! Wonderful alehouse with a truly wonderful team at the helm. Looking forward to many a scoop in here for years to come!!

Not what it used to be. Edit: New owners, only been there a couple of weeks. So, I have edited my original comments. Unfair to criticise when they haven't even settled in. The future could be bright. Needs a good selection of real ale and craft beer. Good luck. I'll be back to see what you do with the place.

Went here under the new management team, all who work there are lovely and treat you like family, I would highly recommend going, very nice and who gives you good laugh

Amazing new landlady and staff. Very chilled and welcoming atmosphere. Made up they are now doing food again....it was fantastic both in quality and value for money. Will definately be coming back here more often.

Lovely clean pub great staff n food is excellent

Went on a Wednesday evening, extremely quiet which is expected midweek. Had a couple of locals pop in. The pub itself is clean and charismatic decor with a log burner, which I do hope is lit on cold winter days, bar staff was friendly, will visit again.

Visited today for first time Roast, won’t be our last! Had beef which was just beautiful and lots of fresh veggies. All for just £8. Such amazing value and staff so friendly and helpful

Was not very happy to be fair! Everyone left most of their meal. As some of it was brunt or just had no taste. Maybe having a bad day.

My first visit there today. The member of staff was very friendly & professional. The beer garden at the rear is excellent. I definitely recommend this place. I will happily go again .

After seeing very positive comments for Sunday Roast at Stanley's Seaview Road I decided to go for lunch there today. I won’t beat about the bush, it was fabulous!! 😍 Soup of the day was cheddar and broccoli (£2.50) which sounded amazing but I didn’t want to spoil the main event which was an excellent value £8.00! We both had the beef which was delicious and tender, you could tell it was a good quality cut. This was accompanied by a yorkie with stuffing, roasties (lots of them!) brocolli, 🥦 carrot 🥕 and turnip and cabbage 🥬 . We also ordered a side of pigs in blankets 🐖 which were really really good and again excellent quality. I like a lot of gravy and we got a gravy boat of really tasty gravy too! Dessert could have been added for £1.50 but I was way too full. 😂 We were also given a loyalty card which entitles us to a free roast when the card is filled, how good is that? Sanitizer was freely available and social distancing observed. We will without doubt return!!

Table service only? Serve us then. No experience this time.

Been drinking in Stanleys since it was built some 25+ years ago, some managers have been good others not so, however have to say the current manager Katie is doing a fabulous job, with more to come, great place, pay a visit you won't be disappointed

First visit here and what a delight! Friendly, welcoming staff, log burning stove- most welcome on a cold autumn night. Locals all friendly and chatty. Good ale. Definitely returning soon.

A fantastic pub again. A recent change of management has seen this pub transform itself back to close to what it used to be years ago. Sharon the landlady and licensee and her excellent staff have done wonders since they took the helm. The food is very good especially Sunday roast. Beers, wines and ales are all excellent and well kept. Match day football in a safe and enjoyable atmosphere. The clientele and regulars are all a great bunch of people with no signs of trouble what so ever. I would recommend this pub very strongly if you want a friendly welcoming evening.

Stanley's is a fairly modern bar (built mid 90s) but looks much older. I had a couple of pints here, both the Hobgoblin and Guinness tasted good. I also had a meal, gammon, egg and chips, which was excellent value for money (just £6.45). The staff were friendly. The bar showed world cup games on numerous tvs around the pub.

OK atmosphere, reasonable prices, good selection of items

I live very local, but as we have a foster son in a very large wheelchair, we tend to go to the large national chain pub further away as there is always a lot of space. However on this occasion I was in my own with him and I wanted to watch the live football. So I called in (just 30mins before I wanted to eat) and asked if I could reserve a particular table that would be ideal, The staff were very helpful and nothing was a problem. On arrival the pub was very busy but again we were warmly welcomed. The menu is typical pub but still a good selection. We both had burgers, which were of a high standard. They are balancing a local style pub with a family welcoming environment and it works. I will definitely be frequenting this pub more often and highly recommend it if your in the area.

Nice place to pop in for Sunday dinner - nothing fancy but food basic food and reasonably priced. Never too busy so can just pop in and kids welcome too.

Nice little pub. Decorated nice, clean toilets and food smelled amazing and although I didn't have any heard plenty of positive comments. It's also a very reasonably priced place.
