Elixir Oxton in Wirral

Visited for my birthday for bottomless brunch. The food was outstanding. A good range of cocktails and even though it was busy they made sure we caught up with our drinks. Would 100% return. Thanks so much for a great birthday elixr. They gave me a birthday desert treat which was a fabulous touch.

We visited Elixir on the recommendation of family. The service was very good and the food was also excellent. The portions were surprisingly large for the price. The staff working the day we visited were very helpful (we took a 7 week old baby with us) and went out of their way to make our restaurant experience as easy as possible. Absolutely would come back!

Great Friday night at elixir. Had the lamb tacos and they were amazing, service was excellent. Live singer was really good too!

Absolutely amazing night at Elixir. Everything was great. Had the lamb tacos and the cod, which was beautifully cooked. Finished everything with an exquisite chocolate fondant, huge props to the chef as it was perfect. The drinks selection was very good and the service was also very attentive. Fantastic evening.

We celebrated Mother's Day and it was one to be remembered. The food and service were great as always. The staff are so friendly and attentive. There was a band on and they were fantastic. Created an amazing atmosphere with everyone singing along. Brilliant night.

Been to Elixir a few times and they consistently impress . The food is fantastic ( and changes to keep ahead of other places to eat ) if you like a cocktail to go with a great night or afternoon out it’s definitely the place to go ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️every time !

Had a lighter bite this time with a fabulous mixed fruit Granola and the best light home made pancakes. Great service again.

Lovely relaxed dinner on miserable cold day. Visited on spec, bit early for lunch, but staff made us very welcome. Liv in particular very attentive without going over the top. All the food was excellent, only complaint the chips were too hot (joking). Very efficient, apologizing for the wait, which was only a few minutes to get the table ready. Absolutely spot on. I have a sweet tooth but pavlova was a bit sweet, suggest raspberries or passion fruit to bring down the sweetness rather than strawberries.

Only one here at opening time so as I like my own company the atmosphere was good 😂Nice Breakfast this morning. Good quality ingredients, good portions and good value too. And a bonus that the coffee was also good. I’ll be back.

Simply the best Sunday roast in Oxton and surrounding area. It was busy today but staff friendly and attentive and the roast beef was perfect melt in your mouth stuff. Loverly mixture of people and children and great atmosphere.

Probably one of the best places to eat I'm Oxton. Great food and great customer service, 100% need to go back and try something else from the menu.

My wife and IWent for an evening meal and drinks here. Wow, the food was fantastic and my wife loved the cocktails. I will definitely return when I get the chance.

Absolutely loved the atmosphere such a lovely friendly place to go!food is amazing the surroundings and staff are just well what can I say when it’s just so nice and welcoming! A great bar with fine ambiance, ideal to take to impress. I first went to Elixier about 18 months ago. I was immediately impressed. I started attending in the morning for its excellent breakfasts. The quality of products are really good and the staff are all socially skilled

Took some friends for a meal , the food was a very high standard and reasonable priced , the bar area was busy ,really enjoyed the night . Will definitely go back

Spectacular experience last night at Elixir. We were a large group of 17, and the team were so professional- from ensuring everyone had drinks to ensuring food was served promptly and together. Food quality was first class, and the whole experience was impeccable. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again for either a group or intimate dining. Well done, Daniel and the whole team at Elixir!

We had our daughter's christening at Bowler Hat Tap on Sunday 19th November and we couldn't fault the excellent customer service of all of the staff, how "nothing was too much attitude" was very much evident and the food was totally amazing! Thank you very much!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at a Elixir and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. We were greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that set the tone for the rest of the evening. The menu offered a wide variety of options. The portion sizes were perfect for sharing. Each dish was beautifully presented and tasted even better. The staff were very friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the dishes. Our experience at Elixir was exceptional. The combination of delicious food, attentive service, and inviting atmosphere made for a memorable evening. I highly recommend giving Elixir a try. You won't be disappointed!!

I have eaten here a few times and I always enjoy it. On this occasion it was very busy but we were looked after very well. There was a long wait for the bill, but they prioritised serving the food, so I couldn't complain about that. The staff were friendly and attentive. All in all a great experience.

Quality service and tasty food, especially the yummy bread buns.

Delicious food. I had the prawn stater and a garlic bread to share Devine. It was a Sunday so we had a roast, which was delicious especially the gravy. I would love to visit again with the main menu.

Went tonight for our dinner myself and my partner, couldn’t fault the meal at all, I had the lamb and my partner the chicken. We demolished the plate. We have a sharing ciabatta for a nibble and it was delicious! Will definitely recommend!!

I’ve always looked at Elixir as a place to go in the evening, smart casual dress, great food and a great atmosphere… …however… …as I recently discovered, Elixir has another side to it, daytimes are a much more casual affair. Welcoming the dog walkers and passers by, looking for a great breakfast, coffee or lunch. I’ve always loved the evening food but this new discovery has me regularly going there for the best breakfast and nicest staff in Oxton and beyond. Highly recommend!!

A wonderful meal here again. We ordered a variety of small plates and loves every one . The presentation and execution of each dish was superb. Highly recommend trying the cod loin and the calamari 👌 Beautiful restaurant and attentive and welcoming staff .

The service was disappointing, having to draw the attention of staff for every request was not good. Previously service has been excellent hopefully next visit things will once again improve.

Again we are so lucky to have place on our doorstep. The roast rump beef probably the best I have ever had. The Pina colarda creme bruleelixe amazing. Staff amazing.

Went to try the new Autumn menu i had seen advertised, it was Stunning every single plate was amazing and the staff were amazing too. Love this restaurant have never had a bad meal all the times i have been and i do frequent the place quite abit, looking forward to going back to try some new plates on the menu

I would happily stand and applaud each delicious small plate we were served for our tapas lunch here ...AND the coffee! The price was so reasonable. Tasty, tasty stuff - no photos because we gobbled it all up :D

it was our first visit, the food and service was second to none, we really enjoyed our meal and will definitely be booking another table soon!! it was our first meal out together in quite a long time, it was the perfect place to spend time with my wife on a "date night"

Did a Bottomless brunch with friends...absolutely loved it!! The food was amazing as were the cocktails! Staff were friendly and speedy with the refills! We are planning to come back soon.

We were visiting this area & booked after walking past. I rarely give reviews, but am in this case as we really loved the food. The tapas formula with a selection of small (but not tiny) is excellent. Each dish we had was beautifully prepared & excellent. The staff were accommodating & friendly. We would be booking again if we didn’t live so far away!!

We eat Sunday lunch quite regularly at the restaurant and always get great food and service. Staff are really friendly and attentive and the menu never disappoints. A great local restaurant.

8 of us for daughters birthday. Food was mediocre, the service was dreadful. The staff stood by the till chatting away taking no notice of guests needing drinks etc. Really need to up their game before people stop going. Such a shame as the place itself is lovely

Menu change to Desserts. From GREAT to GREATER….. Amazing desserts, after the incredible Roast. All of the food was so nice and presented incredibly.

Christmas dinner was excellant absolutely perfect

Food was so delicious, very tasty. Great value for 2 courses. Atmosphere was lovely, nice and relaxed and the restaurant was spotlessly clean. Staff were friendly and kind and made us feel very welcome. We will return.

I generally like to go to a place a few times before I review (unless it's clearly appalling). We've been to Elixir 4 times in very different circumstances over the last 2 months and I'm happy to say it's great. Like I say, we've visited in very different scenarios. First time with friends and our children during the day, second time as a group of 12 and last times just our family of 4. Each time was great, food super consistent and delivered promptly and the service staff were polite, professional and friendly. One on time there was a huge family party in, and they were 'energetic 😂' so it must have been loud for a couple who were sat nearby expecting a quiet, romantic meal. I can't be 100% but the manager looked like he came over to the couple and comped them a bottle of prosecco to drink at the table which left them beaming. Little bits like that make me want to come back Hard to find fault with the place and I've no doubt we'll be back again in a couple of weeks. Keep up the great work.

I booked a table for 4. Really disappointed with the manager . Simple questions I asked her but was made to feel so uncomfortable. Very rude. and no people skills . I certainly won't be back .

Will not be going back to this place ever again!! The manager Liv, has the worst bad attitude I’ve ever come across, she dresses scruffy ( trainers) and she’s rude and abrupt, she must be horrible if the staff are scared of doing something without her “PERMISSION ” Liv made one of my guests feel deflated for absolutely no reason. Sorry but food was yuk staff lovely. Apart from the manager Liv. Has no people skills. Owner talked in doorway to a bloke drinking a can of lager.!! Class eh NOT. Just the worse experience I’ve ever had in a restaurant especially if your booked a table for 8 or more it’s a set menu that is all. You can’t order off the main menu. Shocking!!!!!

Popped in for a cocktail on a very busy evening (just after Oxton Christmas Lights switch on). Bar was rammed with a queue but the staff worked like clockwork and got everyone served in a timely manner. Smiles all 'round.

We had a great night at Elixr for our work Christmas party, the staff went above and beyond all night for us, the food on offer was perfect, as was the atmosphere. I would 100% recommend Elixr and will definitely be booking again.

We went elixir for Christmas Day and it was brilliant from start to finish. The food was delicious and the beef was cooked perfectly. We had cocktails and drinks and they were all gorgeous. To top off the day there was entertainment, games and sing...

Had our family get together here as one of our favourites. We had a late breakfast and moved into early afternoon for drinks. Breakfast choice was incredible and the usual high standard of produce and service. Thanks so for making it Such a pleasant visit.

Food is always very tasty. It does get busy at weekends, and around Christmas time, so it's better to reserve a table.

Food was great however we tried to ring on numerous occasions but no answer. We thought we would take the risk as we could also go OBK if they could not accommodate us. Thought the owner should be aware of the phone not being answered as the place was empty. Apart from that it was good.

Went to elixir last night and we had the new festive sharing menu, it was absolutely delicious, lovely variety of starters and I loved they kept in with the festive feel with a Xmas dinner, as in we had turkey with stuffing , mini sausages...

Food was absolutely beautiful, service was excellent would highly recommend, I was more impressed how they accommodated me being celiac.
