Cafe Kava in Wirral

Terrible breakfast. Rock hard bacon, overcooked poached egg, sourdough toast very hard. Ordered the kids breakfast and guacamole with poached eggs. All you could taste in the guacamole was overpowering vinegar. Fof the price I would definitely not recommend.

First time visit. For a special meal this place ticks all the boxes. Fabulous food, beautiful surroundings, excellent & friendly service .

Our server was brilliant, 10/10. Despite having to send the Sirloin back 3 times due to the chefs inability to cook a rare steak she was professional in difficult circumstances. Now to the steak, the first effort to cook a rare steak was done medium well, shit happens, a replacement was requested. The replacement was literally cold to the touch, zero searing and a clear reaction of a petulant chef who couldn’t accept feedback. The third attempt was almost acceptable if it wasn’t for the fact it was the same plate of food that had now dried out. Was returned again and by this point I’d lost my appetite. Standards in the kitchen have slipped big time, 0/10. Our server was superb throughout. The griddle operator has a lot to learn 0/10
