Went to Cafe Kava yesterday for a coffee and snack I had the toasted tea cake with jam and butter. It was huge. The cafe is spotlessly clean and the service was quick. It is opposite Matalan and you could walk past it as there is not a lot of display to show it is there. It is a meeting place for locals and staff. Would I go again yes. Park in Matalan and walk across. Good range of teas and coffe.

Called into Bromborough spa it’s to look at some wallpapers and whilst there decided to have a snack at the Cafe Kava on the second floor. The Breakfast tea and Latte Coffee was very good and so was the large toasted tea- cake which came with plenty of butter and jam. Staff are friendly too. Worth a call if you are in the area

Been twice now. First time we came in for a Saturday breakfast and we had 4 perfect poached eggs and I thought 'this suggests they can cook' (you should see mine)... so we booked for a jazz night and had a fantastic Christmas dinner. Everything was truly beautifully cooked. Service is lovely and friendly and it's a really nice environment. Highly recommend Barbetta's.

We didn’t book as had just been to the hospital with our grandsons. Car park was full when we arrived so, get there early or you have to pay and display on the public car park A good renovation inside for a pub. We ordered for the babies as soon as we were seated but their food arrived long after ours arrived which missed the point of ordering theirs first, thankfully we ordered some bread but babies like plain bread we will know to Ask next time, it was really Slow service but maybe that’s because it is quite new. The staff couldn’t cope but they were extremely helpful and very sweet to the twins. Apologies for the messy floor after we left!

We've frequented the place on a few occasions recently and have not been disappointed with the whole experience. The food, as always, is top notch and plentiful. The staff are fantastic and nothing is too much for them. One small aside to add, one of our party mentioned that although the food was delicious, it went cool a bit too quickly. I'm not going to teach granny to suck eggs, but perhaps pre-warming the plates may alleviate this problem. Other than that one minor criticism, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Thanks to all.

I ordered the club sandwich a first time try but I wanted to try it and it was absolutely delicious 😋. A massive 3 tiered sandwich of all tasty stuff, and perfectly crispy skin-on fries to compliment. Staff was nice and friendly and a great chill atmosphere.
