Great stuff - lovely food, friendly service and decent beers. Love the setting too, has a nice modern industrial feel to the place.

Great beer, good atmosphere. Didn't have much to eat (just fries), but they were tasty. The other food looked quite good.

This is THE go to place for pre match beers IMO, we are here before every home game and events and love the place. This place is absolutely amazing for anyone who likes to try new unique and fun beers, friendly bubbly staff and a brilliant atmosphere - does the bar get busy on match days? yes of course but would you rather sit in a quiet pub with 3 people or experience the buzz of a packed out venue - I prefer the latter personally so the queues for loos and bar is part and parcel. All the new renovations upstairs and making the place more family friendly, lots of work going on out the front (new outside bar and shelters etc) BUT: Be aware this is a small craft brewery and there are a lot of strong beers and different flavours, lots of IPA's there is decent choice for the person who likes to try new things - sometimes you might have one you don't like, but that is the risk you take trying new things, I wouldn't downrate a place due to my taste buds not liking a beer that many others may enjoy They do cater for lower % session beer and other spirits/wine etc IF however you only like 3% fosters and have no interest in trying craft beers this place probably isn't for you, and that's okay. ALSO: In regards to any reviews you see regarding food - this is outsourced so I feel it is pretty unfair to downrate the brewery based on an external food vendor experience and not actually the brewery or beer itself. Great beer and service, lovely and relaxed outside seating. However the food (by resident “Bear Bones BBQ”) was really sub-par. We had loaded fries for £6 and it was a really small portion with frozen (slightly undercooked and hard) fries, cheap bbq sauce and 3 different types of onions. Overpriced and under delivered. Would definitely visit again but wouldn’t come hungry!

Brilliant beers, great food, awesome place...

Had the brisket and ribs from the smoker and cannot remember ever having had better, super good. The beer is also top quality craft with wide selection.

Staggeringly good is a superb brewery with an amazing track record of creating incredible beer. Their bar staff are superb, the venue is fun, and the beer is second to none. They're selling barbecue food at the moment and it's pretty terrible. Brisket was almost inedibly dry and chewy, potatoes were undercooked, and it's quite impressive how bland they managed to make coleslaw. I wish I could review only the barbecue place because the brewery/tap house is superb.

Great venue, really good, some might say staggeringly good! The food also hit all the right notes. Comfortable seating, decor was good (mind you it's an actual brewery). If I had one suggestion, it would be great to have a couple more styles of their great beer on tap, maybe a lager, their helles was great but not on tap. But honestly I'm reaching, the drink is great, the staff friendly and professional great spot!

Just an OK Brewery. A nice selection of beers available, the food looked good coming out on a Sunday. Tables were reserved so it would appear you need to book for a Sunday roast. Slightly strange venue, not what you would call cozy. Beer was OK nothing special. No prices on beer screen. No prices in fridge of beers on sale.

Super beer, super staff, super space. I like sitting right in the brewery. During our visit, we were lucky enough to catch a jamming evening of local musicians.

Great place In Portsmouth. Really nice atmosphere and lots of creative people singing and acting. Portsmouth really needs somewhere like this. A real must to visit. Will be back again very soon.

The pre match food on Tuesday was very disappointing. A childs size bread bun with some "okay" smoked meat, coleslaw and a pickle, for an extra £4 you get some fries on the side. For a family of four, £56 for a pre match bun and fries is not value for money. The homemade slaw does not justify the price. Average at best. Giving small portions to speed up the que process needs to be reflected in the price.

Pre-match beer, the bar is set up like a German bierkeller with benches in lines. The beer is excellent, and it is packed until about 20 minutes before the match at Fratton Park.

Dinosaurs and the best craft beer in Pompey a stones throw from Fratton park, if carlsberg did breweries this would be the one. It's also a million times better than anything carlsberg could brew 😁

I’ve been meaning to check this place out for ages. We went today for the Christmas Market. Great atmosphere, delicious beer and live music. Will definitely go back for a drink and some Natty’s jerk.

Great to finally visit the taproom. I've had their beers across bars around hampshire and a beer festival, never had one that I wouldn't have again! Taproom is large, busy and has a broad selection of games. Good food too, a really well thought out space to showcase their brewery.

The venue has 2 bar areas and outside seating. The ground level bar has seating and tables and retro co-op games. The upstairs bar has a large seating area with tables. The beer selection is good and they had a selection of lager, best bitter and cider when i visited. You can also buy jamican food from Nattys. I didn't have any food but it looked and smelled amazing.

Great venue for live events such as live music,there's always a new beer to try. But regular on site brewed beers are available, there's food on site, Nattys Jamaican street food, very good, with a choice of medium to very hot sauces to choose from

Super fun and quirky venue. Gutted we missed out on an event (they had wrestling on) but the atmosphere was fab. Staff all lovely, craft ciders and beer taste great and even got some free chicken! Tucked away so less full of students like other places, definitely worth visiting regularly.

Great beer, friendly staff, good food

This is a great pub with plenty of space for live music and group gatherings. Their home brewed beer was amazing, I tried a few but there are many more to choose from on my next visit. Prices are reasonable and the whole place is excellent quality. The toilets were some of the cleanest, nicest toilets ever in a pub, maybe because the venue is still quite new, hopefully they stay that way. The staff are friendly, generous and welcoming. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

Fantastic brewery and teaming up with Nattys is a great idea so I can pop in and get 2 of my favourite things, jerk chicken and real local amazing beer

Always a delight popping in to the brewery. Plenty of selection of beers on offer, new and old. Lots of board games and retro arcade machines on offer too.

Great gig from Ben Ottewell last night, first time at venue and was very impressed. Guy with a big gob at the back threatened to spoil it (not the fault of the singer or the brewery) just a k**b with no respect. Thankfully the crowd made their views evident and he buggered off. Fantastic pint of porter, well done.

Just did a brewery tour. These guys are amazing and the journey they have been on to get where they are today is literally staggering. The tour is worth £25 of anyone's money and on top of that the beers are actually fantastic. So..... Make the effort, support this great local business and enjoy some fantastic beers. Thank you guys for making this such a great experience for us 👍

Tried this place before going to Fratton Park,they have 2 bars 1 downstairs 1 up really big upstairs, would be great for a beer festival, really liked this place I'm sure I'll be back

Omg what a hidden gem to its full of Christmas spirit(s) From mould wine to dinosaur ale's and you won't believe how's here well I'm not aloud to say but pop down enjoy the festivities I love this place I think the batman will too. God bless all here at this great venue omg and the music from string quartets to choirs to brass bands. Come along a have some fun xx

Excellent Ales, great branding, professional and friendly staff. Unfortunately not cheap but is as expected, you get what you pay for and it is over to the Great British Government to provide support to top notch independent local companies and producers of Ale etc. Nothing less than 5 stars.

Great place for a pint or three of really good beer. Plenty of choice, and it seems there are news beers every time I visit. Great staff, very friendly and knowledgeable about the products they serve. Recommend a visit if you enjoy good beer. Off road parking available in the area. The brewery is slightly tucked away but I think that made the experience even better !!. First impressions were great as the design of the place is really interesting especially as it's an active brewery so you can see all the workings inside. Both outdoor and indoor seating was brilliant with lots of space. The selection of beers was plentiful and has options for non-beer drinkers which is a nice touch ! We ordered several pizzas which were brilliant and helped soak up the great beers. Overall, a great place to sit out of the way and enjoy food, beers and company.

Visited with a group of friends for a brewery tour. Joe gave the tour and I have to say it was exceptional. I’ve been on a few brewery tours and often it’s very basic stuff with the intention to get you in the taproom as fast as possible. Not this one. Brilliant story of their journey so far followed by a tour which got into the nitty gritty and all done with humour and in a way that kept us engaged. Highly recommended. Pizzas and beer were excellent too. Check it out!

Thoroughly impressed with this hidden gem. Had a delicious vegan pizza. In fact all their pizza are available as vegan or vegetarian as well as meaty. Also great beer with friendly, knowledgeable staff

First time yesterday for Ukraine Fest. Love the size of the place, great outdoor seating area. The size of the venue upstairs for the bands yesterday, didn't know how big it was! Good lager for me as I don't drink ale

Me and a friend came here for the opening of the new pizza kitchen and to try some new Beers. The beers were incredible, I'm not normally a fan of beers that aren't what you normally find but the beers here are great! The bar also has 6 or 7 FREE TO PLAY retro style arcade machines which include pacman and street fighter which we had great fun playing. After waiting for about an hour and fifteen minutes for our food we started to get a bit annoyed but luckily one of the Servers Zen offered us some free drinks to apologise for the wait. And then again after 2 hours waiting for our food Zen offered us another drink. After 2 and a half hours Zen came over to us very apologetically to explain that our order never got through to the kitchen. He gave us a full refund, gave us 3 beers each to take home and sample and even said next time we came back down he'd make sure our Pizza was on the house. We understood that with this being the first day offering pizza it was going to be a struggle but the fact is with 23 tables that could easily sit 4-6 guests each only being able to cook 3 pizzas in an oven at one time its just not a viable option because wait times are going to be astronomical. To say the least what we experienced today was pretty abysmal but please for the love of God keep Zen on the staff. He is a massive asset to your company. His customer service skills are incredible and he is the only reason I'll be returning. For the most part we were pretty annoyed during our visit but Zen just made things ten times better!

It's a bit difficult to find between other units on a trading estate and when you approach it it is not the best of surroundings but the excellent vistas are not why you visit the Staggeringly Good Brewery. Once you have settled in, if its a nice day it's not bad sitting outside on the picnic tables. Order your selection of ale using the app and you will find that the beer is exceptionally good. There will be a number of brews to choose from which is likely to change throughout your visit, so ensure that you refresh your app occasionally. Well worth a visit, due to its proximity to Fratton Park it's likely to get busy on match days.

Nice place with friendly bar staff. The beer wasn't quiet to my taste but that is my personal opinion maybe others were there happy drinking away! Cheers.

Visiting Crewe Alex fans. What a fabulous place! We were made to feel very welcome and they've got it superbly organised. Enjoyed a pint of Stagger-saurus before the match.

Hidden away on an industrial estate, well set up, a brewery that can also host events.

Bloke was brilliant very honest and really friendly

Was enjoying the atmosphere and the drinks, to an extent, and having a good date with the gf...however that ended when we had a hostile encounter with the owner over the app "Untappd". Owner was unhappy I was giving some drinks low ratings, simply because I didnt like them. They approached us complaining about the reviews and then asking that for now on to not put any reviews on the app and to talk to them directly and even offering free drinks. I found this unacceptable as its completely anyone's right to put reviews online on this app, if there's a drink they don't like, without the owner coming over and badgering you about it and complaining about it without giving me the chance to give the feedback. Safe to say that because of this, we ended up leaving the place early as it ruined our night. Before I was happy to recommend this place to my mates but after this encounter, I don't recommend this place to anyone, especially if you have the app "Untappd" as they quite clearly get very sensitive about it.

A fantastic beer craft in amazing set-up, if you're up for a proper beer in a chilled environment, you got to check this out!

As ‘out of towners’ we were made to feel so welcome, the taproom space is unusual yet cosy & there beers speak for themselves. Absolutely fantastic service & will be back no doubt.
