Dreadful. Simply dreadful. The bar staff and waiting staff tried their hardest but the back of house was full of underage drinkers. The disgustingly horrible lady who runs the place was too drunk to notice or care. Shame

We all ordered different meals and they were very good. It was pleasant sitting out the back. Prices were a little higher than were used to, but we were on holiday. Pleasant staff too.

We’ve had a delicious pub lunch. All the classics done really well, with a few more interesting veggie options. Service was great .

Very pleasantly surprised :-) popped in for a drink and easy dinner after a day on the beach. The decor and atmosphere only OK but decent reviews so we ordered food not expecting run-of-the-mill pub food. In actual fact every meal we ordered was lovey and surpassed expectations…. Halloumi fries, mango chilli prawns, salmon on a nearly barley salad and chorizo and mushroom pasta served with watercress ( as I didn’t want rocket) and a Parmesan crisp. All excellent. Don’t be put off by the appearance - try the food for sure

Tables a bit squashed together and the one we sat at was very sticky. We ordered a haloumi and a calamari starter between three of us. Both lovely although the side salad was a bit over dressed which made the leaves slimy. Two of us had the special pulled pork burger and chips. The burger was greasy and the chips were overcooked and dry. One of us had the chorizo and mushroom tomato pasta. Was tasty but the portion was too big and its was a little over sauced so could have done with something to mop it up. My partner had a pint of madri which he said wasn’t great.

Food excellent, staff absolutely wonderful. Friendly, attentive, happy and smiley. Perfect evening.

Visited St Tudwals today the 9/6/24 as have done many times before when in Abersoch & always found nice food pleasant staff / atmosphere & reasonably priced, only to find the carpark at the rear is shut hence its downfall & star rating It's difficult enough to park in Abersoch not even peak times (school holidays) & didn't fancy a trek in the rain with the dog, so went elsewhere...

Ended up going here a few times whilst on a short break in Abersoch. It’s a nice unpretentious pub to relax and watch the world go by. Decent Guinness. Didn’t go into the food options so much apart from lunch snacks which were very nice. Had some good pork scratchings avaliable, served warm from the bar.

Good food. Great staff. Dog friendly.

5 Adults 2 babies service good total price of meals came to £93.20 5 drinks 3 x pints coke 1 glass black currant 1 double vodka lemonade total bill was £138 think my wife who just had serious operation was not happy thinks was conned will no go there again

Can't comment on the room. They were only place serving food and not booked up all time. Could not find anywhere to eat in abersoch in eve. Child going hungry. Saved us and got us a takeaway packed up. Abersoch is nice but everything gets booked up early. And half time can't get food anywhere without driving to next town. Pizza place runs out of dough balls quick then doesn't do takeaway as a takeaway! The other pubs are closed some days even though it says they are open. Abersoch is a joke for food! This place was open, served food, and the food was really good too. Nice pub grub and nice take away boxes. Had a beer too. Thx all saved my boy going hungry 👍🏽

Lovely pub, lovely food and super-friendly staff. We went with our 4 dogs too and they were all treated to a doggie bone, which they enjoyed. Generous portions that were so good, we couldn't squeeze in a dessert ☹️ The only negative was that the acoustics make it sound like a rugby game rather than a pub.

Service was excellent as was the food great place for a meal or a drink it looked like a young couple that were running the pub and they are doing a great job well done

Traditional Robinson's Pub serving good ale & food at a fair price in the center of Abersoch village, Welcoming friendly staff and a good atmosphere . You can sit outside at the front of the pub and watch the world go by or you can sit at the rear covered terrace, as well as inside the pub. They do a very good help yourself carvery on Sunday's . (Recommended). The rear car park is no longer available because it now has a marquee and outdoor barbeque which is very good . Unfortunately the lovely hotel rooms upstairs are no longer available and parking behind the pub is no longer available . Well worth a visit but you have to park on the street ...

Whilst visiting family in Abersoch we booked a table at St Tudwals Inn for our evening meal. Staff friendly and welcoming on a chilly November evening. Starters of humous with ciabatta and halloumi fries were delicious and went down a treat. My main of crispy pork belly was well above pub standard as were the other mains of rib eye steak, risotto and buttermilk chicken burger. Desserts were equally impressive. Would definitely recommend.

Great welcome from friendly front of house .Drinks served promptly and with a smile . Given plenty of time to choose our order and didn’t feel rushed . Shared two starters (4 adults ) both starters were super tasty and very moreish !! Mains of steak was devoured and cooked exactly as requested,Chicken equally delicious and pork belly apparently out of this world!!!! The chef very kindly cooked me a vegetarian risotto which was as good as any high end restaurant . Finished off with two desserts home made apple crumble and chocolate and peanut butter torte , 4 very happy and full customers who are looking forward to a return visit. Well done you guys !

Off season , most of the Towns eating places were shut or not dog friendly. The staff were friendly and attentive , made a fuss of our dog #harrythegreekspringer and gave him a pre lunch treat. The beer was excellent whilst the food was served quickly. 2 Ciabatta and fries - delicious and great value . Would definitely return if passing through again

Popped in for a drink, the young man serving was rude, could hardly be bothered to speak, threw nuts over the bar then sat and played jenga. Place was filthy, smelt of fat and had ripped seats. Decided not to eat, my wife felt grubby after sitting inside. Such a shame as it used to be nice, place is run by childish teenagers. Shame

Friendly staff. Dog friendly pub. Good selection of ales (some local ones were £3.50 a pint!). We had a Sunday Roast, one beef, one pork. Both delicious and huge. We shared a starter and had to take out dessert home in a box. We were so full. Great place and good value. Nice pork scratchings from a machine too.

Hello just visisted this place with my friends young women with brown hair declined all our ids and passports without reasoning very rude and impolite and carried a huge attitude unimpressed as we are all 19-22

We visited the St. Tudwals on 4 recurring days during a week long stay in Abersoch. Staff were friendly and offered a warm welcome, a great selection of drinks were available on arrival, The food was superb on each occasion (Particular highlights being the Pork Belly, Fish & Chips and Salmon Fillet) Our large group of 7 was easily catered for with all the food arriving together. Outdoor seating in the sunshine a bonus to top it all off! I would highly recommend the St. Tudwals.

3 of us and our dog had dinner here during our recent stay, we all had the beef burger with chips and drinks. The food was reasonable priced and service was good. We sat in what seemed to be a social hub and the back of the main bar. There was music, pool table and a great atmosphere. If you’re looking for something quieter this isn’t the place for you, but we enjoyed it.

Decided last minute to go out for dinner with my wife and picked the Tud’s as you didn’t need to book. Staff were brilliant and nothing was too much trouble when we got there. Ordered fish ‘n’ chips and crispy pork belly, both reasonably priced. Our food came in no time and must say was superb! Definitely go back again.

We were turned away at another local restaurant / bar and turned in here. The food for all 21 of us that attended was beautiful, not a step out of line for the whole team. Everything happened for a reason in the end and was definitely not disappointed

Brunette girl with the ponytail is lovely. Other staff members are rude, reluctant to serve the customers and unwelcoming. One boy went to serve someone ahead of us, the man said we were waiting first and he sighed and said “I’m not even working”. We ended up leaving as we felt so unwelcome. The staff need a lesson in customer service! Go across the road to Après Sea where the staff are lovely

Not much open in Abersoch midweek towards end of April. This pub was one of the few actually open. All pretty good to be honest, toasted ham & cheese ciabatta with salt & pepper fries. Food good l, presentation wasn’t the best I’ve ever seen though. Wife had fish & chips which she said was very good. £50 including a tea & a pint, was all the money though, hence I’ve only given 4 stars. Staff friendly.

We sat outside and used the ordering system as instructed, despite a wait of 25 minutes no drinks arrived so we asked a member of staff if he could look into the problem, it took a further 15 minutes to resolve the problem and apart...

The process to order is ridiculously slow, we could only pay using Paypal and although our drinks arrived quickly the order was incorrect. The server told us we were wrong even though we had the proof of payment and list of items on the receipt sent from their system. Thankfully the guy at the bar (which in theory we can’t go to) resolved the glitch. Staff also need to be reminded that wearing a face mask means nose and mouth, particularly when they are advising customers to do just that.

Visited here for food with my family Today to all be served microwaved food, The quality of our meals was very poor and by far not cheap, Three of the party ordered stake and stout pie this was more like a pudding, the pasty was soggy as anything, no crust and it was served with mircrowaved vegetables selection of broad beans,broccoli and carrots, one of the party had a burger it was the cheapest meat possible which was over cooked and dry and we ordered a few glasses of coke which was flat clearly the pump had ran out we asked for replacements but they only replaced the one drink. Staff was Friendly, service was quick and the pub itself was clean and Tidy in a great spot and lovely outdoor seating area. Food i would give 2 stars alot of improvement required and too charge £30 for a Steak and stout pie, childs fishfingers and chips a medium glass of red wine and 2 small flat cokes you would expect a half decent meal however i have had a better meal from mcdonalds.

Sitting out on the back terrace (and staying seated as per COVID), the service was outstanding. Excellent beer and our glasses were never empty. The team serving this area were superb and, for drinks service, the best we’ve experienced since the restrictive measures came into law despite the area being full of socially distanced customers. Friendly, approachable and extremely efficient. Great work and a huge improvement since the new landlord(s) took over. Thank you for a great experience on a week with miserable weather.

Stayed for 4 nights and ate at the hub, zinc and twice at St Tuds. Tuds was certainly the best value, and the food quality was as good as the rest. Tables outside serve food and the menu certainly did not look to be limited. All four mains over the two nights were super... and the staff so friendly. Well done.

Don’t stop here if you want to park and use the pub, I’d of given it a zero if I could have. We come to Pwllheli 2-3 times a year and every time we always call at least 1-2 times in the weeks we are here for some lunch before we take the dogs for a walk on Hells Mouth beach. We come here because they accept dogs in and out and the food is good. Every time we have always parked on the pub car park, today we parked up, sat down outside as it was busy, about to order and some staff member came out looking at cars, so I just mentioned as she was taking down number plates that my car is the white one, to which I was told “it’s for hotel patrons use only and says it on the gate and I can’t park here and I’d have to move it” I said we were using the hotel for lunch so we were effectively patrons and could we not stay to have the lunch as we intended, the answer was no.So I won’t be coming back again, so went to The Ship in Lanbedrog instead, your loss.

Friends advised that the new menu had been very simplified so we decided to give it a try.Simple pub food but very well cooked. BBQ rib starter was sizeable and very tasty, followed by Steak and ale pie which was delicious and piping hot. Starter was large and main was medium so the pair worked good for me but big appetites might have wanted a bigger pie. We saw some order the burger thought and it looked big.Well worth a visit.

Unsure if this place is under new ownership but they definitely seem to have made small improvements which are making the place all the more popular. We visit the area a lot and would not usually spend much time in this pub until this year.They now allow dogs throughout which is fantastic as we always usually have the dogs with us when we are in town.They have a few lovely fires which are fab in the winter months.We ate here on New Years Day for the first time after completing the RNLI New Year’s Day dip, we were a little apprehensive as we had never ate there but I can now highly recommend the pulled pork bap & salt and pepper sausages.Staff are super lovely and helpful, we can’t wait to return next season!

Post Christmas trip to Abersoch with lots of meals out. This was a treat with fantastic home cooked pub food. The menu is short, but I could have eaten any of the choices. Ended up with chicken wings then pie. Delicious!

My husband and I spent a nice few hours in St Tudwals during Abersoch's Christmas festival weekend. We went in at midday just for a hot drink as it was freezing outside, opting for mulled wine and a mince pie. It quickly got very busy for the lunch time rush and we found ourselves wanting to stay longer in our prime seat in the window so we had some beers and chips. The salt and pepper chips were really nice, as they come with actual red and yellow pepper and onion. Some singers set up right outside our window, so of course we had to stay even longer to watch them, with more mulled wine! I can't comment on the main meals, but the pub itself was really nice, and all the staff were friendly and efficient. It was a great place to while away a few hours on a lovely winter weekend.

It was a very quiet evening with some local people at the bar and I had supper there. The lady waitress did a good job and the food ( a steak plus plus) was delicious. The place was clean and tidy with a great collection of sailing pictures. And good music to enhance the environment . I will certainly return...Thank you.

Staying in Abersoch so just dropped in for evening meal and a drink, and staff extremely friendly but food: OMG it was GORGEOUS!!!!!! Highly recommended, especially followed by a game of pool in the sports bar at the rear! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

We ate Sunday lunch hereWe waited for over an hour and when it finally arrived it was cold, the Yorkshire pudding was raw in the middle, the vegetables consisted of vey hard carrot Barton’s and two florists if broccoli, the beef was very chewy and over cooked We paid extra for cauliflower cheese which was disgustingWe did tell the bar staff our thoughts but it fell on deaf ears as they just said kitchen staff were stressedI could NOT recommend this place to anyone

Came here for something to eat this evening ordered at 6:30 and at 8:10 had still not received one burger and one lasagne meal - 2 meals 1 hour 40 min wait horrendous!Went to the bar to complain was ignored by the girl serving in the orange top as earlier when I went to get a drink for myself and my husband took 20 mins to get served.Food when it arrived was crap- not worth waiting for- the poor lady who was serving was rushed off her feet.Poor management we got offered a free drink but to be honest we were about toask for a refund- food was very poor, not to be recommended at all.My suggestion would be be go elsewhere, I made a big mistake not checking the reviews.... not worth time or money.

Didn't eat there so couldn't comment on food quality. We had to move dirty plates, cutlery, glasses, serviettes etc to make a space for our 2 glasses. There were 2 other tables also full of previous diners plates etc. Food was delivered to tables but none of the mess cleared. We moved inside & found a table overlooking the street. The curtains looked ripped and moth-eaten. The tables out at the front were cleared & chairs re-arranged. Would not go again.

Came with a large family party, food was reasonably cheap and the chips were really nice. Wasn’t impressed though - side salads were limp and crusty, glasses were dirty inside, and toilets were dirty and without soap in the gents. Also no options on the menu for gluten free guests.

We had been looking forward to have a great lunch experience. Party of six, three ordered Chilli Con Carne extra spicy, Tacos with melted cheese & chilli, chicken nougats and ribs & wings. The chilli had no taste and looked like cat food, the Taco dish was full of Tacos and you had to search for the meat! The other dishes were nothing to be proud off!!! The only good thing we had where the drinks!! Don’t waist your money!! Some years ago it was a nice pub to go to!!!

Nothing spectacular except for the chips. They were crunchy on the outside but soft and fluffy inside. Service was so so. We were rudely asked if we were finished at the end of our meal.

Sullen barman, poor menu. Food was awful, Frozen veg. My partner had the salad, no dressing, olives and pineapple in the salad!

Called in for tea. There was a group of us who all ordered seperately but one after the other. The food arrived at half hourly intervals and was very poor when it arrived to the point that you could not even cut the chicken nuggets. The last to order waited an hour and a half for food. I honestly could of done the whole lot within half an hour myself. We were told that one of the chefs hadn't turned up but we were told by a lical they haven't got a chef. Avoid at all costs. I would have given no stars if I could.

Started off okay, main bar area great, staff lovely, had the small carvery which was £8.50 for 2 pieces of meat and all the trimmings, and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

I was shocked at how this pub has deteriorated, the corridor was filthy. The radiator in the ladies is rotting away from water dropping from the hand dryer. We used to eat here regularly but I would not chance it now Terrible decline in standards

Didn't eat here, just went for a drink but honestly Abersoch is supposed to be a chic, trendy place. This pub by contrast is a bit of a dump.
