Extensive and excellent menu with a varied choice to suit most big parties. The service was brilliant.

Food here is amazing, and the staff are so friendly. We were served by Tom who was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the menu. Ordered the scallops to start and they were delicious. For mains I had the fish stew which was full of flavour and came with a lovely bit of crusty bread. My partner had the mussels and said they were fresh and filling. We both ordered the raspberry mojito which I really recommend, it was tart but sweet. Lovely spot tucked away from the busy streets, would 100% recommend.

Seb. He handled us so flippin well. We work at a different restaurant in bath 12 of us went to have some work party. We were given amazing corner and the food was just delightful. Cote has amazing range of wine and also they are very warm and welcoming. But nothing topped Sebastian our server, who served the whole table took care of us all night. If you go in ask if seb can handle you and I'm sure everything will be fine. Thanks for the amazing time cote!

You can usually rely on Cote to supply Steak Frites well. This was delicious. The staff were lovely. I was driving and their 0% lager was delicious. The Frites were crispy and hot. The steak tender.

We were on a long weekend in Bath and booked table here for 4 of us and they did not disappoint food was beautiful so was cocktails and staff were friendly and very attentive we live Cote Brasserie their chain of eateries are wonderful cannot fault them

One of a favourite well visited restaurants in Bath. The staff are always so attentive, in particular the two K's very smiley, chatty and professional. We are looking forward to coming back when the refurbishment is done to see the new look. this will complete this lovely restaurant.

We visited Bath on a tour. We found this restaurant by accident . The service was prompt and friendly. The food was delicious. All the staff were very knowledgeable and they were able to accommodate a Gluten allergy better than any other we’ve been to in the UK. It is an exceptional hidden gem.

I went to have the french toast since it was supposedly one of the best and it was okey and the coffee was not great either. The service was not great I was ignored several times and I had to approach one of the waiters to pay because 10 minutes passed since I asked for the bill and no one came to charge me.

went out for dinner with my partner which we rarely do and the food was gorgeous! the hostess was clearly run off her feet but made sure to spend time with us while she took our order and the other young lady was also warm and friendly. the côte de boeuf was gorgeous and the wine was yum. our first visit did not disappoint and we will definitely be back!

The team were wonderful - we were celebrating our honeymoon and they took the time to ask us about our wedding and even treated us to some free drinks! The food was fantastic too and it was a beautiful place. We will definitely be back!

Very noisy place on a Friday evening. Service was very good, but the atmosphere was awful. Lots of parties having a good time but very loudly. Food was OK, but didn't really match the descriptions on the menu.

Beautiful setting , great food and super waiting staff

Really disappointing experience. The person serving was very unfriendly . Felt unwelcome maybe because we were the only Asians there. Been to many branches in multiple different cities which were much more busier.Never had this experience, this is very disappointing. Had to leave early and didn't order mains. The management should look into the way employees treat customers. Being a doctor in the NHS seeing how busy we are we ALWAYS meet a patient with a smile that's the least we can do.

A friend & I visited Cote in Bath Thursday 4th July. We were greeted warmly by the staff & seated very quickly. I ordered the mushroom Bourguignon which was just delicious, followed by a chocolate melt, which was equally yummy. There was a lovely atmosphere in the restaurant & we enjoyed the pleasant experience of having a relaxing lunch. I will certainly be returning….

My husband and I visited Cote, Bath, on Monday for my special birthday lunch. Lovely place. The food was wonderful,the service very good and made my birthday that extra bit special.

AVOID !! Service was awful. Was seated at a table over half an hour later we still had no drinks or anyone even speak to us again. We left they were obviously too busy to accommodate us in their establishment. I am still unsure on why they took the booking in the first place.

Excellent place for breakfast/brunch located inside the Milsom Place group of shops/eateries. Staff was very courteous, food was lovely and an enjoyable experience for our family!

Came in for a birthday dinner last night, Sebastian served us. He couldn’t have done more for the both of us, he was absolutely fantastic. Food was great as always with cote. Service was very quick.

Nice place tucked away from the main streets of Bath, nice sunny courtyard and large indoor seating area. Food was standard for a Côte, service was good and staff friendly. We stopped for lunch and would happily stop by again.

Hidden away...but worth hunting out

I came here with a friend for the first time, although I've been to other Cote locations, mainly in London. We were seated very quickly and outside as the weather was amazing that day. The food came out on time and was thoroughly delicious as always.

Pork was melt in the mouth veggies perfectly cooked. Excellent food in a really nice environment. Good wine list and cocktails including alcohol free. Separate gluten free menu. Service was perfect. Thanks Tom

We dined upstairs in the Bath restaurant and had a lovely evening… such a good and friendly team, a deliciously chilled glass of Cremant (courtesy of a special offer from Cote: thank you!) and undoubtedly the best burger I’ve ever tasted! (I rarely choose a burger… but it was utterly delicious!).

It's Côte, so there are no surprises on the menu. I had the mussels, which were plump and tasty, my wife had the salade Niçoise which had a nice chunk of tuna in it. The setting in the courtyard is very cosy.

Absolutely amazing evening. We booked here for my 30th and I cannot recommend it enough. The food was incredible the drinks were also superb and out waitress Manon was so attentive and so great at what she does. Even if the food was average her service would of made the night but the combination of both together was special. I will be coming back here time and time again. Thankyou for making my night so special.

Not one to leave reviews, but we had a great service and food. I believe his name was Mandhai or Madvai (indian sounding name), wonderful service by this gentleman, the food was great, mocktails amazing. Restaurant with a French branding, and I'm French myself so I can vouch for it

Food and service was great honestly no complains. Food was great absolutely loved it. Highly recommend the onion soup, Eggs Benedict, French Toast. Coffee was average.

Overall everything was great, Anna was very friendly and smiling , she found me a table in less time than promised although I had booked, Stephan was also very quick and attentive, and the food was absolutely delicious I would definitely be back.

Great outside space, lovely welcome and great food and drink. Especially like to recognise how great the waitress was. Didn’t caught her name but she was blonde and polish and was friendly, welcoming and nothing was a hassle. Great humour and personality. Faultless.

The atmosphere looks and feel it should be great. But food was disappointing. Our cote da beouf sounded nice but the meat was fatty and gritty rather than juicy and tasty. It was disappointing that it lacked flavour for the price. Truffle fries were not crispy as expected for triple cooked. We also had the salmon but unfortunately the salmon was overcooked and dried. The service was ok. Could have been a bit more attentive especially with explaining time frames of meals. another table who arrived after us, ate and paid before we even received our meals. Overall it was disappointing for a restaurant that showed promise.

Visited on a busy and warm Saturday, without a booking, but we were quickly sat outside. Lots of outdoor seating at this restaurant. It was fairly busy so service was slow but that’s ok. The food was nice and I would order again. I’d say if you are a wheelchair user, specify when booking as the restaurant isn’t fully accessible unless you go from one floor to the other via the front entrance/patio

Charming restaurant in the heart of Bath. Tucked inside a courtyard. Has tables inside and outside (under cover and also open). Food absolutely excellent. French onion soup was flavorful and so gracefully presented. Salade Maison had many flavors vying for your taste buds. Patricia our server was so professional and pleasant. She handled our every request. Thank you for making a great dinner even more special.

Visited in September 2023. Cote Brasserie in Bath exceeded all expectations with its exceptional service, inviting ambiance, and delectable cuisine. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted warmly by the staff, creating a welcoming atmosphere that set the tone for the evening. The reasonably priced set menu offered good options, but our attention was immediately drawn to the Poulet Grille mains and the Salmon fishcake starter, both on the Prix Fixe menus. Both dishes were prepared to perfection. The chicken was succulent and flavorful, cooked to tender perfection and paired perfectly with a delightful sauce that elevated the dish to new heights. It is a favourite of mine and my ‘go to’ when dining at a Cote. The salmon fishcake was a true delight. The service throughout the meal was impeccable, with attentive staff ensuring that our needs were met promptly and courteously. The ambiance of the restaurant was charming and cozy, creating the perfect backdrop for a memorable dining experience. Overall, our visit to Cote Brasserie was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of delicious cuisine, reasonable prices, and outstanding service make it a must-visit destination.

Chivas dishes were seasoned well and the white Sardonay house wine was also good value for money.

Felt let down. Have been a long time fan of Cotê but maybe no more. Table at 5pm and it was more than half an hour before we had to ask someone to come and take our order. The food came quickly after and was pretty good but service in general was really not good tonight. We had to ask for the bill twice and then gave up and went to the bar to pay. We were told they had three members of staff off this evening which I understand but perhaps telling customers when they come in at first would be a better way of managing people’s expectations. Sadly I won’t be back any time soon.

Quick, friendly service with good food.

3rd time here. Good food and atmosphere for celebration parties, families and couples... all of which were being quite well taken care of at this popular eatery during our visit.

With numerous places to choose from in Bath, this is a firm favourite and probably one of the best Cote restaurants in the U.K. great service and delicious food that doesn’t breathe the bank!

Arrived 1 hour late (bad, I know) but one waiter at the front of house (1st floor) was so nice and found us a nice table. Food was okay, chicken was a little dry and my friend's steak was under seasoned but the fries were amazing. Overall, good service especially as we went in on a Saturday at a peak time.

Disappointing lunch. The staff were busy and rushed. Most dishes have fries with them, which I am interolant. I asked if they did sweet potato which would be a nice change, unfortunately not so I asked for tomato salad instead with the quiche. My order arrived with fries and I queried it, the waitress tried to make me have the fries and didn't seem to want to get the correct order. They eventually brought out the right order, meanwhile my friends order got cold. The quiche was overcooked and heavy. The staff didn't ask if we wanted sauces, I had to find them for salad dressing. The table next to us were moaning about the staff. The acoustics were poor so it was hard to hear our conversation.

Lovely food, efficient service and nice atmosphere. The set menu is very good value which means we can go and enjoy it more often. We'll done Côte and thank you!

Went in yesterday to an empty restaurant upstairs. All tables where empty. This was around 11.10am. I asked if we could have a table along the window. A small waiter said " Sorry its fully booked " I explained that there was nobody here in the restaurant.. He said " There are bookings at 13.30.. I explained that it was only 11.10 and we would be finished by then .. He said " Sorry there is nothing i can do ... How ridiculous has this place become ? That honestly is the final time we go to Cote... There are plenty of amazing restaurants in Bath ( Without the total stupidity of this place...

Excellent food and service as always

One of the nicest meals out we have had! I have a gluten intolerance and they offered a really good Gluten free menu. A lovely restaurant, gorgeous food and friendly staff. It felt as if we could actually be in France! Would definitely recommend and we would love to visit again if we are ever nearby one again

Eating at Côte (Bath) has always a good experience, until now. Avoid the Prix Fixe menu I have had many nice meals at Côte (Bath), sadly this was not one of them. We popped into Côte (Bath) after shopping, to have a light meal before going home. We decided to try the Prix Fixe menu. That was a big mistake. We both had the smoked salmon fishcake, which in reality was a potato cake , lightly flavoured with fish. My partner had the chicken breast in a creamy mushroom sauce, which turned out to be a slice of chicken breast, covered in what tasted like Campbell's condensed cream of mushroom soup. I opted for the steak frites. The steak had no taste of beef at all. I don't how they cook steaks at Côte, but mine tasted like someone had used too much barbecue lighting fluid to get things started. The service was more lipservice than actual service, to the point of being pointless. We were asked how our meal was "so far" the person had already turned on their heels before we'd even had a chance to answer. To summarise, a poor quality and disappointing meal, most definitely not in keeping with the French spirit of Prix Fixe, which offers both value AND quality.

Prix fixe....not worth the paper it was printed on. Best item.....linen napkin. I had potato ( fishless) cake to start. Hammered chicken breast with " tastes like Cambles condensed mushroom soup" to follow. Shamless lipservice attendance. Would struggle to recommend.

Staff were 10/10!! And the allergy menu is incredible for people who need - Cote food is cote food, it’s very reliable without setting the world on fire, but bang on for the price point - absolutely rammed and rightly so…

A great experience for a memorable birthday celebration. We were welcomed and looked after by Simon a remarkable and competent host who made the experience so enjoyable. Throughly recommended.

Lovely food that was fast to be cooked and served. Great service, felt like a more old fashioned style of service which I'm a massive fan of. Just my wife and I on a rare date night. I had steak tartare which was outstanding. I could have eaten 2 lots. My wife enjoyed her french onion soup. Perfect portion sizes for a starter. Mains I had the poulet Breton (au grille) which was super moist and tasty. Wife enjoyed the fish Parmentier which looked and smelled devine. There wasn't any left so that's a good sign. Opted not to have dessert as we were pretty stuffed but they did look good. Bottle of rosé was £22 Would happily recommend to anyone looking for a good feed in a nice environment.

Food was pleasant. Not wow but nice. Duck over cooked in my opinion. Service lacked. Very good steak tartre and cheese and biscuits. Large Mark up on wines and champagne. Priced OK. Don't accept cash which always creates me considering its official legal tender.

Myself and my partner visited cote for my birthday. The entire experience from start to finish was perfect, outstanding service. Stunning food, would highly recommend this fantastic restaurant to anyone.

Amazing meal! We visited in the early evening of late January so the restaurant was pleasantly empty and provided a nice quiet and relaxed setting, and the staff were super attentive. For starters, I tried the cheese gougeres. They were decent, but the portion size was a bit small for the price I felt. For the main I ordered the mushroom bourguignon, but I received a beef bourguignon instead which turned out to be a delightful surprise. I don’t follow a meat-free diet so I basically just enjoyed an upgraded meal for free, which was a pleasant bonus. The spiced apple spritz I chose as a drink was absolutely delightful too. We visited here for the first time for a family meal to celebrate a birthday, and everyone else's meals looked fantastic and tasted amazing. All in all, Côte Bath offered a great dining experience.

First time visit to Bath restaurant. Great service. Very welcoming. Best sea bream I had. Mussels were really good. Overall a very pleasant experience.

I tried to try this Cote for lunch. I arrived around 1 pm with my partner and we were standing inside near the place with menus. No one was there from the staff so no one welcomed us. After around 2-3 minutes 5 waitress went to the kitchen to serve dishes and non of them looked at us or even said "sorry for wait/just a minute". I felt like I'm invisible there. I started looking for the other option for the lunch, discussed it with my partner and when we were going to go out, finally someone said "hi, welcome to Cote, table for two?". We have apologised (however I think we should hear apologise) and left the restaurant.

Love the lighting and atmosphere. The food and service are always good.

Had a table booked for dinner on New Years Eve, but when when we arrived at our reservation time was told it would be at least 45 minutes wait. Big queue of people in front of us too with some who had been waiting over an hour for their pre-booked table. We ended up cancelling and going elsewhere like many others. Really bad organisation and disappointing, particularly on New Years Eve.

Love the view from the upstairs restaurant! Although this is a chain this is particularly good restaurant. Nice wines and a wide menu with delicious food, making it a regular go-to choice.
