Well laid out cafe with a very colourful interior and a good choice of drinks/cakes on offer, I chose to have coconut milk in my coffee, it might not be to everyone's taste and the cake slice was a little small to my eyes, but I enjoyed what I had. I felt that the customer service could be improved with a smile and greeting but that may come in time.

Stumbled across this delightful place a week ago through a local community group. The staff are so friendly, prices are very reasonable and the coffee is lovely. This will be a regular meet up place for me and my best friend from now on. Cannot wait to try a meal very soon.

If I could give this place 6 stars I would!! Beautiful food, amazing cakes, wonderful tea selection! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming - I’ve been three times in the last two weeks! New home from home! If you’re in derby and want a gorgeous vegan lunch, this is the place to go. And, even better than that, all your money is going to some amazing projects and causes in the community. Love you Sprout!!

25 Park Farm DriveI had a fabulous introduction to Birds Cafe in Allestree. I visited the cafe this morning for breakfast with my daughter whilst I waited for my dog to be groomed at The Hound Hut around the corner. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate my daughter's needs. They were so thoughtful and nothing was too much, even when some of my requests weren't on the menu. Thank you for such a pleasant experience - we'll definitely be back. The food was great too and the breakfast tea. The cafe is really nice inside, clean and modern with a great selection of bakery products and lots of seating available. There's always a small queue which is a good sign! Parking is ample within a minutes walk, and the doors are big enough to fit a a large pram/wheelchair through. Plus, it's dog friendly too!

43 Smalley Drive, OakwoodHad a lovely time here for my mums birthday. The Biscoff rocky road is too die for!! Unfortunately did have a problem with the drinks, the guy didn’t know which drink brought to the table was a latte or mocha 😬 I took the browner of the drinks and that was didn’t taste like a mocha. I didn’t let it ruin my day though!
