Great English breakfast breakfast, friendly staff will come again.

We came to the cafe for the first time and we were pleasantly surprised. The service was great and super friendly and the food was good

Very rude staff, rubbish service. Set down for more than 30 min and chased the staff of the order. The staff came back and said the food is coming. But then later he came back again and asked what did we order. It turned out they forgot the order. Even so, they continued to serve the other tables without even apologizing and lied the food is coming. The restaurant was not even busy enough for them to forget the order. They just don’t care about customers at all. Even so they served the food finally, they came a wrong order. And it’s not even cheap enough for customers to tolerate such rubbish service.

Nice chilled lunch break, proper sarnies and breakfast, proper cafe

Reasonable priced local caff. If you like your all day breakfast, and I love mine. Then this place is worth every penny. The guys are super friendly, love their attitude & atmosphere. Keep it up.

A cheap & cheerful greasy spoon. The food is nice, simple, and the portions are huge. However, I must say they serve the WORST coffee I've ever tasted. Very burnt and acrid flavour, literally undrinkable. Otherwise, a good spot if you want a simple feed.

Really high quality and super speedy. Hash browns were perfect, and the ham and eggs were also great. Smoothies were awesome also.

Classic full English breakfast for a tenner. Expensive but everything is these days.

Fantastic quality and value breakfast - got the Set 2 I believe - full spread: toast, coffee, bacon (with some nice fatty bits too), sausage, black pudding, eggs, mushrooms, and beans. Sometimes you go to a cafe and either the price, size, or number of items is a bit off - but simply no complaints with this joint, good people too, 5/5 for sure!

Superb food every time we go into Spring Rose. Food plentiful and very attractively priced. Staff extremely friendly and have managed the Covid-19 crisis very professionally throughout. Well worth a visit at anytime.

I doubt it will win too many prizes for romantic breakfast locations, but a high street cafe with big menu choice and large portions. I wanted a big fry up and I got a big fry up. Machine coffee is a bit meh, but good value and planet of it. Radio was too loud was my only fault.

Regular Saturday breakfast haunt for us, even though it’s not exactly on our doorstep. Great value for money for good sized breakfasts and lunches. Friendly and welcoming no matter how busy. My only gripe is that it doesn’t open Sundays 😔 however maybe that isn’t a bad thing for the sake of my waistline 😁

Un desayuno de sábado normal nos persigue, a pesar de que no está exactamente en nuestra puerta. Excelente relación calidad-precio para desayunos y almuerzos de buen tamaño. Amable y acogedor, no importa cuán ocupado. ¿Mi única queja es que no abre los domingos? sin embargo, tal vez eso no sea algo malo por el bien de mi cintura?

Good food, friendly service and much better value than anything else round there. It's the best normal cafe in the area but isn't greasy and horrible and also does Eggs Benedict or a few other nice veggie bits (for the new gentrified lot!) But you can have an old school fry up and can sit outside if the weather is nice

OK, I'm biassed because I'm a regular. Friendly family run traditional cafe offering no-nonsense, generous fare. Welcoming to all with a great blend of service, humour & fare. Veg & traditional meat fry-ups are great and the salads and non-standard coffee are surprisingly good. I hope they don't change (but I wish they took card payments) and dread the day they close. They're hard-working and deserve continued success.

I used to live in the area but now visit a fortnight per year. This is simply THE best cafe in the area (even more now that Arthur's has gone). Huge portions of great grub. Probably 50p-£1 dearer than others in the area per main plate, but well worth it. The 'N1' breakfast is a personal favourite.

In a rapidly gentrifying pocket of Islington the Spring Rose remains a reliable good quality greasy spoon. Been the same for the last 8 years, does exactly what you want it to with a smile and with ease. Recommend the freshly squashed orange juice with your fry-up as well. Great place.

Disfrutamos de un bacon bien preparado, huevos y tomate - muy bien preparado, no grasienta, y una taza de buen té y tostadas con mantequilla para ronda de no mucho más de £4. No puedo decir más justa que eso. Lo único que les decepcionó fue el café, no un gran sabor, me lo usas el té. (y el las colillas de cigarrillos alrededor de la mesa fuera). Pero no dejes que eso te desanime. Si quieres un buen desayuno inglés con cambio de un fiver diríjase aquí.

Este café tiene un vecino estadounidense justo al lado que se ocupa de sus tipos típicos de Islington durante los fines de semana, sin embargo, la primavera Rose es su arquetípicos café británico sirve buenos desayunos salados a los muchachos y muchachas llevaban sus propios tocadores duro trabajo. Limpiar mis hermanos tardíos Flat en Southgate Road necesitaba un bocado para comer antes de las 8:30 en días laborables cuando las restricciones de aparcamiento entró en vigor, después de haber viajado desde el Cotswold en 04:30 que estaba hambriento a las 08:00 cuando fui buscando un lugar para comer. Un enorme pan crujiente bacon sandwich y café en 10 minutos y yo estaba en mi camino. El vecino estadounidense al lado que hemos utilizado en visitas anteriores es excelente, pero probablemente dos veces con el precio. Se obtiene lo que se paga.

Nos alojamos en un apartamento en la zona de Hackney durante un par de días. Caminar por la zona y admirando cada pequeño jardín inglés en frente de cada casa nos dimos cuenta que este lugar. así que la mañana siguiente nos registramos nuestra. Algunos de los platos más razonable que habíamos comprado. Inglés Llano desayunos y té. Es agradable para vivir como los habitantes de la zona.
