Spring Chinese Take Away in North Kesteven

One of the worst takeaways we have had in years. Chicken Satay undercooked and unpleasant, Chips definitely been reheated ( probably more than once ) and chow mein tasted less than fresh. Complete waste of money

Consistently excellent. We had prawns with chilli and garlic, plus chicken in black bean sauce, with chicken fried rice. All well under 30 quid. Cannot be faulted

Purchased 5 take away meals 3 special chow mein 1 sweet sour chicken 1 beef/fried rice It was horrible [except the 1 portion of s/s chicken ] 4 chips were in edible Obviously cooked well before and probably re heated [maybe more than once] none of us could eat them. Dry inside and tasteless. I was dissuaded from taking the lot back by my friends. Still regret it. No one could eat their full meal Most was in the bin. How this place can get away with this is beyond belief. My wife counted 4 small prawns in her full special chow mein meal. NEVER NEVER to return I value my health. This place needs a visit from the council Those chips were not fresh at all.

Takeaway from Spring Chinese this evening was amazing. The food was absolutely delicious and was nice and hot.

Absolutely amazing everything was so tasty wasn’t waiting long for our meal, stayed hot when we got home.

Waited over 2 hours for no food to arrive . Was told at 8.32 it was out for delivery , no food by 9.17 , still food at 9.30. Cancelled order . Was told “ sorry we are busy “. Clearly another business surviving purely because it’s out in the sticks and we got no other option . Come on deliveroo :: bring the big , reliable brands to Branston so we can order and eat happy on a sat night !

Had a lovely chinese from here, king prawns with ginger and spring onion, Kung po king prawns, shredded chilli beef, chicken fried rice and special chow mein, lovely flavours and very quick service, will be ordering again soon

This has got to be the worst takeaway meal I've ever had. What is wrong with the chicken they use at Chinese takeaways? I've never seen chicken like that anywhere else, it's disgusting. The dishes were really poor quality, we were shocked at just how poor they were. And if that wasn't bad enough it wasn't even cheap. £25 for a couple is a lot more than we'd spend at the chip shop or getting a curry.

Cannot fault the place since hygiene rating improved. Always hot, tasty. Great service and fast delivery! Thanks :)

Ordered by phone for collection. Was back home eating with half hour. Chicken balls are always good from here, batter is not to thick and cooked perfectly. Chow mein isnt greasy like most lincoln town chinese takeaways. Portion size is good and cant complain about the prices.

We recently had our first takeaway from here. Phone was answered quickly enough and the food delivered within the hour. The portions were large, however the chips were dry and powdery. The rice was nice as we the chicken balls. It was good without being amazing

I use the Spring Chinese regularly and have never been disappointed with the quality, and quantity, of their food. Their beef curry is one of the best in Lincolnshire and the Black Bean meal is superb. Prices are average for a take-away meal. They also have a delivery service if you feel the need to leave the car on the drive or not stretch your legs.

I have been here lots before and I was always served amazing food, it was always on time and amazing customer service! Definitely would recommend!!

Ordered a takeaway from here for home delivery. Delivery was quicker than expected, friendly driver, and the food was good.

Food always brilliant, quick and hot when dishing up, but tonight I gave the young delivery driver £10.00 more than I should have, two £10.00 Notes stuck together, he came back knocked in the door and gave me it back and said I had over paid him, very impressed with his honesty he could have kept it and I wouldn’t have known. Thank you young man

This is a really good Chinese take away, we use the delivery service which normally takes around 30 - 40 mins, however we are outside the village. The chef is Consistent with the quality and taste and the delivery guys are very friendly.

Called here to order a takeaway and was given a collection time of 15mins, still sat in here 50mins later!! Not great service!!!

Food always good here, have the chicken,sweet corn soup, shrimp curry, special fried rice and chicken chow mien ,all ingredients are good and service very quick

Just wanted to say a huge thank you to all at Spring Chinese. I made a big order for a Saturday evening which was delivered on time, food was of excellent quality and the customer service from start to finish was superb. Highly recommend.

No podía decir que cuántas veces he estado aquí por mi para llevar chino, he estado utilizando para años. Honestamente puedo decir que nunca he tenido ningún problema con la comida o el servicio desde aquí.

So we've used this takeaway several times now. The food always arrives before the time they say,always hot and it's delicious. A local takeaway that fits the bill.

Would not recommend this Chinese at all. The customer service to start with was appalling was made to hold for 10 minutes before they was able to take the order and then had to call back as was over an hour and half wait for to be told it was on its way. We then received the order and knew that one of the things we received was wrong so called up (I am aware people make mistakes so just wanted this to be resolved) I was told by the girl on the phone that my dad had not asked for the dish considering 4 other people in the room had heard him say it and was called a liar. She told me that she would need to speak to someone else where I could hear the entire conversation of her making impressions of me and still advising what I presume the manager that we had not asked for the dish when we absolutely did. In the end it was going to be delivered to us however the rest of the food was cold when they delivered and the crispy chilli beef was not crispy and was soggy and the BBQ ribs were just fat. Will definitely not be coming back with just pure rude staff.

Debe ser una muy popular para llevar o simplemente realmente horrible con el servicio de atención al cliente.

Es como una broma de un lugar en el que nos hemos usado este llevar antes y en mejor los tiempos indicadas son un mejor supongo. Esta noche pedimos una colección y dijeron que sería de 30 minutos. Después de 45 minutos nos preguntó sobre nuestra colección dijeron que 10 minutos. Después de una hora nos devolviera el dinero, y nos dieron nuestra efectivo pero podría decir que no se preocupan en lo más mínimo. Lo siento por el personal, ya que están mal por el personal de la cocina. Es para evitarlo.

we have always use this Chinese,best one around for food, but after having had a few delivery problems in the past we started to collect it all the time,tonight though i thought i would give them another chance but its the last time,i rang the order through just after 6.30 and told it would be an hour but after an hour and half later still not here they rang to say they had mixed up orders and they were setting off now to come straight to us,another phone call 15mins later to say they had another mix up another 15mins later it finally turned up,thats over 2 hours, it was dry,hard and cold,so from now on we will go elsewhere,such a shame

This being our local Chinese we have had this on several occasions. It seems to depend on which chef you get but sometimes it can be a little garlicky.If you order for delivery it takes around 45mins and only 15mins for collection.Overall just what you would expect from a good local Chinese.
