Eravamo una comitiva di 13 persone e non ci hanno fatto sedere in un unico tavolo, ma in due separati, anche se avevamo chiesto di unirli non ci è stato concesso. Il ragazzo italiano che lavora lì aveva in aria stufata, come se eravamo di peso! Abbiamo ordinato fish and chips. Il pesce era impanato con qualche spezie, tra cui il curry ed era impossibile finirlo, ti dava il voltastomaco. Tolta L impanatura il pesce era insapore. Patatine buone. Ci sono stati problemi con il pos, e abbiamo dovuto pagare per forza in contanti! Non ci ritornerei!

Colazione con uova e salmone ottime , bell'ambiente da tipico pub inglese,unica pecca dopo avermi portato il cibo nn si sono più fatti vivi , almeno per domandare se tutto era ok. Cmq cibo ik

Acabábamos de ver el rendimiento de Les Encarge matinee cruzando la calle y queríamos un lugar para sentarse, tomar una copa y disfrutar de una cena ligera temprano. Encontré en este lugar más por accidente que por elección. Más de un sports bar/combo Carvery Roast" interior comparado con el aspecto antiguo pub fuera. Sin embargo, con la excepción de la dardos en la televisión este sitio era perfecto para nuestras necesidades. Algunas cervezas, buena para mí. Gran selección de comida sencilla que cumplan con nuestras necesidades. Mi ensalada Cesar con pollo era probablemente el mejor que he tenido. Era tan buena. Uno de los adolescentes tenía un sandwich que tenía un número fishfinger de nosotros buscando celosamente en él. El vegetariano entre nosotros, elegidos para tener dos entradas en lugar de una en la principal (creencia de que este equivocado) sería una opción menos abundante. ja! El personal era genial. Servicial y amable. Cuando llegamos a las 5. 30 El lugar estaba bastante vacío. Por 6. 30 El lugar era una mecedora. Sin duda parada aquí la próxima vez que estemos en esta parte de Londres.

Aburrido y caro. Si estás pagando más de £10. 00 por un sándwich que esperas algo un poco mejor de lo que se puede comprar desde una tienda de bocadillos. No hay ambiente pero éramos los únicos allí. Las personas estaban entrando pero después deja antes de ordenar. Debería haber ido con ellos.

Mi pareja y yo estábamos buscando un lugar para tomar una copa antes de otro sitio para la comida. Fuimos a aquí y nos encantó. Un gran ambiente y muy buenos precios en bebidas. Terminamos quedándonos para una comida, y estaba muy contento con la calidad y los precios. Volvería de nuevo en nuestra próxima visita a Londres.

There are a large amount of TVs to watch sport -a number of different channels too. Expensive though and the food is just average

Estábamos en Londres un domingo y quería ver partido patriota de Nueva Inglaterra.Aunque no tienen el juego, cambiamos de la pantalla de juego para el pago de juegos en dos televisiones sólo para nosotros.El lugar es muy limpio y agradable. La cerveza está fría y la comida es excelente.Gran sports bar que nos hicieron sentir como en casa.

Das Essen war ganz lecker, aber nichts besonderes. Preis/Leistung war gut. Die Lage ist toll, da es nahe am picadilly c. Liegt.

Entramos para ver el Barcelona-R.Madrid y lo echaban en un rincón del pub solo en 2 TV, de las 10 o 20 que tiene el local, donde echaban todo rugbi.El ambiente era muy ruidoso y la calidad de las retransmisiones nada buenas porque eran de Internet, con lo que cuando la linea no iba bien, se caía la retransmisión y tenían que empezar de nuevo para poder seguir viéndolo.La comida es típica de burguer y sandwiches y las cervezas mas caras que la media, unas 6 libras por cada una. Vamos para no repetir

Had a lunch with my boyfriend in this place because he loves hot chicken wings..so i choose sirlion steak with salad. The salad looked old so i didn't eat it..and just at the end had a look closer...there were grape with mould!!! How you can serve something like that!!! So we asked waiter to call manager..that took 15min to come and see whats wrong..he removed the charge for steak but still had to pay for sauce..On the way out he still try to make me feel guilty for my complaint..and explained that the salad was in kitchen under the lights for 2min and that made grape all white..Very disappointed for first time experience.Never will go back again!

Watched the Arsenal game here on Saturday. Lots of TVs made it easy to watch the game and they had a good selection on beers. The bartender was okay - not very informative when asking him questions about different kinds of beers but didn't make or break our experience. Also liked that they showed NFL games later in the evening.

Three of us went to the Two Sportsmen at lunchtime last Saturday. The bar looked attractive so we sat down and my husband went to get drinks. Unfortunately they didn't have either of the soft drinks my daughter wanted so she had a glass of water! While my husband was getting our drinks I visited the ladies' cloakroom where there were no towels or hand dryer. While we were having our drinks a match started and the TVs were so loud conversation was virtually impossible. My husband asked the manageress to turn the sound down a little so that we could hear each other but she refused very rudely. As we left I spoke to a barman who again was very rude. A place to be avoided!

He estado en dos deportistas con mi hijo ayer, atraídos por el típico pub Inglés entramos, el hermoso local y decorado para la Navidad. en dos plantas.estábamos en el segundo piso donde vimos el partido Everton - Liverpool.El lugar estaba lleno y había un barman y camarero que corrió toda la planta.Sin embargo, nos sentamos en el bar y nos encontramos con un barman italiano y muy amable y nos ayudó a ambos a comprender el menú y también con las direcciones. Los dos trabajadores fueron realmente muy bueno. Se trabajó como barman y camarero al mismo tiempo; y aunque estaba lleno la comida llegó rápidamente. Pedí cóctel de camarones y un batido para mi hijo. Está bien. Felicitaciones por el servicio, la velocidad. Lugar para visitar y volveremos Me estoy reuniendo en Londres

Sono stato a cena in questo locale giorno 11/12/2016.Ci ha accolti un ragazzo italiano abbastanza simpatico e cordiale.Abbiamo ordinato due pie ma, dopo averci ripensato, ci hanno cambiato l'ordine (un'eccezione visto che solitamente non cambiano l'ordine). Abbiamo mangiato due panini con hamburger, cheddar cheese, bacon e uovo fritto con contorno di patatine. Tutto veramente squisito! Non ci ha fatto male neanche un pò.Assieme ad una birra e ad una diet coca, abbiamo pagato 28£.Consiglio la visita di questo locale visto che comunque è accanto Piccadilly.

Rude staff, dirty bathrooms and we paid seven pound for two cokes. All the waiters and bartenders were miserable and angry about life.

Incredibly rude barman charged 1.20 for water included in the round! Odd American diner style and lacking any good ambience. Avoid.

Visited The Two Sportsmen to watch the Rugby with 3 female friends. Had a table with a great view and the food and service was good. My only disappointment was the toilets, they were disgusting. No toilets seats and the hand basins had taps that did not work. Would not visit again until the toilets have had maintenance.

Good effort by the lady who managed our booking to accommodate us. Food was decent, if pricey (hardly surprising given the location). Sat in an area of the bar where the sound quality was really poor - couldn&#039;t decipher the commentary despite them turning it up!

Avec une amie nous nous y sommes rendu dans ce bar pour manger et un soir nous installe à une table avec le menu et ensuite on a attendu un petit moment jusqu'à ce qu'on vienne prendre commandé et la table ou on était n'avait pas de service alors le serveur nous les apporté juste avant que nos plats. Niveau nourriture bonne Mais plutôt très copieux du coup je n'ai pas réussi à finir mon plat. Service lent très lent. Au moment de payer on sort l'argent pour payer la on a pas très bien compris il part et après un autre arrive et on lui dit qu'on veut payer nos plats séparément du coup il va faire deux tickets et il repart alors qu'on attend juste de payer et partir. Despuès de realizar un "free tour", acabamos en este pub para comer, en el que te hacían un precio especial (10£).Pedimos el típico fish&amp;chips, que estaba bueno, pero pedimos unos entrantes, los cuales no aparecieron nunca y tampoco nadie se acercó para dar explicaciones de porque no se habían puesto.La camarera bastante desagradable.

Acabamos un free tour y nos comentó el guía, que en esta cervecería nos hacían un precio especial y decidimos quedarnos.Un menú fish and chips, con bebida nos costó unos 10£. Lo cual está muy bien.La comida correcta.Pero el servicio bastante antipático y pasota, les pedimos unos entrantes, los cuales nunca llegaron, sin dar explicación, ni inmutarse, evidentemente tampoco los cobraron.

Came to watch a show, so went into the two sportsmen for a few drinks but was so expensive we only had one, plus we caught the barman not giving full double Jd in the glass, was just over a single. When questioned they were rude about it so we drank up and left never to return. Would give a no score if I could.

La nourriture est un véritable SCANDAL : coca coupé à l'eau, eau au citron en guise de "Sprite", le fish and chips à 14£ est lamentable à la limite de l'immangeable qui nous a donné un mal de ventre généralisé (nous étions 5)Nous avons eu le droit à 10£ de "service" ajouter à notre note du jamais vu !! Si vous tenez à passer un bon séjour à Londres surtout n'y mettez pas les pieds.

We wanted to do some sightseeing so we went down to Piccadilly Circus to get some dinner. We roamed around for a bit and then found the Two Sportsmen on the side street. It was pretty crowded! The fish n chips were very good, the only thing is my wife is not a fan of the skin. She worked around it and enjoyed the meal!!

Op zaterdagavond in een sportsbar dat eten aanbied verwacht je goed en kundig personeel maar helaas is de Engelse taal van het personeel zeer slecht. Daardoor komen de bestellingen niet goed door, worden er drankjes vergeten en is het een puinhoop. Het eten zelf is voor de prijzen die ze vragen matig en de drank is constant lauw (gewoon warm). De sport die werd aangeboden in het gedeelte waar wij zaten was 5x American Football (2 verschillende wedstrijden) en 1x Engels voetbal. De bar beneden is niet onaardig om te ziiten, diner gedeelte boven oud en luidruchtig. Dit is met afstand de slechtste ervaring in Londen in jaren.

This is the worst place ever. Extremely expensive and staff shows why a Brexit wouldn't be that bad at all. Couldn't understand a word of English, forgot to bring out cutlery but also food. Never go back.

Deze pub ligt in een zijstraatje van Leicester Square en heeft een paar lekkere menu's van 10 Pond, drankje incl. De muziek is heel chill (modern DJ / EDM), maar niet storend hard. En natuurlijk wordt er sport uitgezonden. AANRADER!

Nos lo recomendó el guía con el que visitamos El Centro de Londres. Es un pub de lo más auténtico, grande y tranquilo, al menos a la hora de comer. Muy céntrico, cerca de Trafalgar Square. Si pedís el fish and chips no os arrepentiréis.

Came here for Sunday lunch, ordered 2 beef dinners &amp; 2 drinks. Our food was placed on the table then that was it, no question if we needed anything else, sauce, more drinks etc. Etc. My partner called the hostess/waitress over and asked for mustard, she just stood there staring at us, so we repeated the question and described what we had asked for, she then walked away Without answering, she came back 5mins later &amp; just dumped it on the table. Our plates were collected, we weren't asked if we wanted anything so we requested the bill. When it arrived, the prices were different to the menu. We questioned the waitress and she walked away bringing back a different menu to the one we were given. We had never even seen this menu &amp; completely different!! We explained we weren't given that menu or ordered for it and she just shrugged her shoulders! My partner told her she would have to take the difference from the 12.5% service (service !!) charge already added, again she shrugged and said ok, turned and walked away. I really don't think the waitress waitress wanted or cared to be there. We left payment on the table &amp; left feeling disappointed.All in all, food was good, service was shocking and let the place down. The waitress is in the wrong job &amp; needs to be replaced by someone that actually wants to work if it's wants people to return. Would Not recommend if you want to be made to feel welcome when spending your money.

Mon amie et moi, ainsi que nos 2 filles, nous nous somme rendus dans ce restaurant vers 13h30. Il devait y avoir 10 pers. max. Nous nous sommes installés, j'ai donné à manger à la petite. Nous avons interpellés à plusieurs l'une des 5 serveuses mais personnes n'est venu prendre notre commande. Nous avons eu l'impression d'être invisible. Au bout de 30 minutes, nous avons décidés de quitter les lieux. Quand je me suis permis de faire une remarque sur la raison de notre départ, on m'a répondu que l'on n'avait pas vu que nous étions là !!!!! Bref. A EVITER

We came in for Sunday lunch and we directed to a bar stool type table. I have a pet hate of eating at such tables so asked to be seated at a 'proper' table. I thought this would be okay as there were x4 such empty tables, the bar man refused my request as he repeated we were just a couple and the other tables seated 4. I pointed out the copious other couples eating at such tables and he said they were okay because the bar stool wasn't available when they had arrived.We left.In summary I have no idea of the quality of food but make sure you like bar stool tables if you are in a couple.

Went in for a drink after seeing a show. We were directed to a table by a member of staff, had just bought drinks and then another member of staff can to move us as the table was reserved and there was nowhere else to sit!Drinks were london prices but nice atmosphere in the bar - ruined for us by the staff not liaising with each other over seating arrangements.

We ordered three portions: traditional kentish style bacon-sausage portion, secondly fish and chips and thirdly vegetarian. The latest was very poor, a kind of vegetable kebab sticks which were neither fresh nor tasty.

Dropped in here on saturday afternoon to watch a premier leagues match. The bar was busy but we got a seat within five to ten minutes. The bar-man was quite busy being by himself but did the best he could.

We were looking for a quick meal before the theatre and this ticked all the boxes, it had a table, service was friendly and pretty good, food came reasonably fast, we had the fish and it was tasty and well presented with pleasant chips. Our glasses of red wine (a Merlot) were fine. It was not priced too badly for this part of London.I always speak as I find and I had no complaints from our visit and would go again in similar circumstances.

We visited this place because the menu is very attractive, when we order the food the waitress (who was in a bad mood) take the plates to the table and 5 minutes later the cutlery, when we were just about to finish the meal the waiter (yes, a different one because we never saw the first waitress again) brought the drinks, he took to the table 2 lemonades that were actually soda with a slice of lemon. When I complained with the waiter about the TERRIBLE SERVICE he made us a 20% discount so I thought it was a good deal, but then my husband realised that the made us the discount but they charge us for 6 £ for the service (very logical -.-). So we had to go again a made a new complain. Well at the end my dad decided to go to the toilet and it was out of service, OMG it just couldn't be worse. Disappointed it's not enough to describe how we felt after having a great day and finish our night in this place.

On my 2nd day in London decided to join strawberry Harry Potter walking tour and our guide recommended this pub restaurant for some British dishes. Those who come after the tour will only pay £10 for selected dishes-including selected drinks. I had fish &amp; chip with coke and extra order of mushy peas. Food and service is decent although nothing to shout about.

This place is chaotic, the food is very poor. The beer is not looked after properly but you do get to see sport on the TV. Better than Riley's Sports Bar in Haymarket but not much.

a group of us recently wanted somewhere central to meet up, watch a football match and have some pub grub. We reserved a table, had our confirmation email and turned up 5 mins before our time. Hostess could not find a record of our booking, but managed to get us a table. After a few mins, we called a server over to see if we could have some drinks. She didn’t know if we had to order at the bar, or could she take the order. Off she went to consult with another person and decided she would get the drinks. Back she came eventually and we had to call her back to take the food order. Starters came quickly.. but then after 45 mins we chased our mains. And eventually they came out.. well one person was unlucky as their order was missed. The food was actually nice for pub grub, but I wouldn’t be in a rush back as the service was so poor from start to finish

London is full of fabulous places too eat. Drinks here are overpriced, service lacking, bread wasn't fresh for my main meal sandwich and spare ribs were dry as they would have been reheated. Don't bother

This is a lovely pub located in between China town and Soho. Prices are steep but then again they are everywhere in central London. My friends and I went there for pre-drinks before clubbing and it definitely set us in a good mood with the lovely atmosphere and fun, commercial music playing in the background. Tv's available to watch sports. Good!

We were getting hungry walking out of Piccadilly and saw this pub and thought we'd give it a try. There weren't any lines so we got in quickly. Drinks were ordered quickly and we ordered appetizers and a main course. Our ribs were good and tender. The calamari was just ok. Calamari can taste really good and it can taste like over fried fish. It tasted like that. The batter was heavy and the squid had a stronger fish taste. The fish and chips were good. I had chicken breast with bacon and cheese on it. The cheese was broiled onto it so it came and had "hardened" onto the bacon. The cheese and bacon did not complement the chicken but was something slapped on. There was a 15-20 minute wait from appetizer finishing to the main meal coming. We did leave full but it wasn't a great value for £64.

Couldn't get order right first time. Chicken burger cooked but meat at body temperature! Offered to change but no time. Pie bland and meat absent. Poor example for visitors to UK. Would never go again.

We discovered this place which is a sports bar as well as a regular restaurant. The burgers were outstanding!

The presentation of the stations looks good. But no flavor served with skin so FYI beware. Flaky flaky fish but no flavor. french fries okay not really worth going again.

Utilized the hop on hop off and dropped into this nice little place. Great service and prices were reasonable. Fish was cooked perfectly and tasty. Ordered the haddock and chips. Not disappointed. Get a high top table seat and can watch the pedestrian traffic walk by.

Service was ok, but waitress forgot to bring us any cutlery so had to grab it from another table myself. Also wasn't offered condiments until I asked, and was up sold extras without being told they weren't included in the meal. Food was average.

You cannot get more central than this. 5mins walk from Piccadilly Circus tube station on a side street of Shaftesbury avenue. It is a big pub with multiple screens where you can watch sports (previously sports bar). Overall nice decent size.Food: average. Small portions on the platters. Taste wise it's not great. It's not bad either but it's not somewhere I would go back for food as it wasn't anything memorable. Quality was just average and presentation was standard pub. They stop serving very early (why would they? It's the west end of London, it's summer and the Euro is on) so if you do really want to try the food order early.Staff: the young lady at the front clearly does not want to be there. She isn't amicable or welcoming like she was fed up of working or speaking to people. She'll show you to a table and that's about it. I'm really hoping she isn't always like this and had a bad day. Everyone else (waiters) is mechanical. One waitress was nice. That's it.Overall there are lots and lots of options around. Check those out instead. The drinks weren't great and we found a hair on what of the glasses (we didn't complain about it- just removed it and carried on). Cost wise it's central London prices. Targeted at tourists for an average experience. I won't be going back if I can avoid it.

we just wanted a quick pub dinner, aka fish &amp; chips. we ordered and got our starter right away. 40 minutes later we still had not received our actual dinners. we stopped a server and asked for our food, she was less than helpful and it wasn't for another 20 minutes that our food arrived. we saw our original server leave the restaurant and come back during our wait and she never once came back and apologized for her mistake. the food was average at best and I would NOT recommend this place to anyone.

Ok so England are playing, Everywhere is full, This place has some space so we decide to try it, Lager nice (but expensive) but i guess thats london, Annoying women constantly stood in way of tv showing the match, If you are gonna have match on dont stand in front of tv! This was made worst by the he-man style door man that was walking about all night like a chicken with his chest puffed out just making a fool of himself, His big headedness didnt last long as he fell over a mop and fell out into the road, When England scored and the crowd cheered the women that was blocking the tv got very agressive and didnt like the fact that english people were happy in england for watching england, She proceeded to ban them from having any more drinks while the guy that was practising his chicken impression got back up and composed himself then agreed with her that this kind of fun shouldnt be allowed, We hastely left the premisis in disbelief, if u come to england fit in or f off dont start calling the shots ...

Service was really slow. It took forever to get our food orders in and then we had to wait even longer to get the check. Food was just OK, and they got some of our orders wrong.

I guess I shouldn't expect good food in a sports bar but the food was terrible. We had pork ribs and cardboard nachos. No good

Looked good when we arrived but unfortunately it did not live up to expectations. When we were seated we waited 10 minutes for someone to come and take our drinks order and it wasn't busy at the time. The food came fairly quickly after ordering but at £14 for fish and chips and £10 for a chicken burger that was pink in the middle and cold it is not worth the time or money.

This looked like an old pub from outside but was very different inside. We were in there early afternoon and it was playing loud music which was OK but a bit top loud. The beer/cider was over £5 a pint dearer than most London pubs. Food menu looked good but the again was expensive. They did however advertise a special on ribs and certain beers and cider on a Thursday which was good value. Not our sort of pub but that is just personal preference.

Nearest station is Picadilly Circus, 3 mins walk to the restaurant. Saw quite a number of bad reviews but still we would like to try it. We nearly don't get table seats as we did not make reservation, but lucky enough there was some cancellation on reservation where the manager managed to get us nice window seats. unlike most restaurants, you will need to call the waiter to take the order rather than they come straight to you, personally i prefer that way as we have comfortable time to go thru the menu. We ordered the chicken sliders for 10 pound, Fish &amp; Chips for 13 pound, and the drinks etc. I loved the sliders and the sauce better than the fish &amp; chips! The chickens are well fried and mixed perfectly with the sauce. Atmosphere of the place is amazing, and of course best during football games

Top, mai mangiato un pesce del genere. Porzioni super abbondanti, panatura croccantissima del fish&amp;chips, la purea di piselli adesso la mangerei anche a colazione! Camerieri italiani (come un po' ovunque a londra), super simpatici e cortesi. Forse una delle cene più buone che ho fatto a londra

晚上7時半到達餐廳，球賽快開始，我們先點了晩餐，打算一邊看賽事一邊吃，但原來餐廳吃飯區的電視聲非常弱，或許不希望打擾吃飯的食客，女侍説我們吃完晚餐後，可轉換去餐廳另一面的睇波區，而賽事延後半小時才開始，我們快吃完，拿著飲品坐到滿佈大螢幕電視的睇波區，欣賞賽事。餐廳食物一般，或許來此的食客都＂志不在食＂吧！

Wir fanden trotz Live-Fussballspiel einen Tisch und wurden sehr angenehm bedient. Unser Essen schmeckte ausgezeichnet, auch die Kinder waren sehr willkommen.

A sports bar in the Soho area of London. Starter was good (Nachos), sadly the main meal of a burger and a pie was ages in coming and when it did arrive was cold. We sent the food back and left. Very poor service for a fairly expensive restaurant. Recommend you go somewhere else- there's plenty of choice in the area.

Bar was quite when we went in, but became very busy as two football matches were on, and the grand prix also on. There was an awful lot of hopping around channels , which annoyed people, before it settled down. Service was very slow because it was so busy, and they had apparently been let down by staff not turning up. <br />However, when the food came it was very good to be fair.

I took a group of 50 here for a casual dinner. The manager Alicja was more than willing to accommodate us, and offered the entire menu at our disposal. HIGHLY recommend sending in order few days before as it is ordered fresh. We were seated on the second level, so created intimate yet large enough space for group. Wait staff at event was very efficient and accommodating. The food was very fresh and had just been cooked upon our arrival. Fish and chips was some of best I've had during 6 months in London! Very willing to split checks and end of evening.

Went to this venue last night with a good friend. It was bustling but was not overly busy and the menu was fairly interesting. However, after being seated by a surly waitress (brunette girl, chequered shirt), we were left abandoned at our table with no one to take our order for a substantial time. We watched as she dealt with other customers, and when we politely prompted her to take our order, she snapped and walked off. We continued to wait, and when nobody else bothered to come over and take either our food or drink order, we decided to find somewhere else and left! The waitress didn't even apologise as she saw walk past her and leave.

Great location and atmosphere to hand out with friends . had a really good time on saturday for my stag do !

very over-priced, below average food with a huge service charge added and then the waitress had the cheek to ask if we wished to add a tip to the card payment

Our daughter is a huge soccer fan so we decided to pop in for a late snack and a few pints. Very crowded and fun place to watch a game, decent food, nice selection of beers.

We've been there on a saturday night, starting at the bar we asked any advice to the barman for the wine, and for only answer we get "i don't know", not professional at all. Then we had a dinner, my burger was OK and my gf was very happy about her sandwich. But about the service, we were very desapointed, waiters weren't smiling, no one checked if everything was alright. 2 stars more for the service

We visited The two sportsmen on 1/04/2016. we were looking for somewhere to eat before going to a show..It was around 4.30ish, so it was relatively quiet,but still a lovely atmosphere..A really special mention to our waiter ''Peter'' he was lovely, really helpful, ( hello Peter, you said you were going to keep an eye out for our review, I am the lady in the cream fur jacket, who came back and sat at the same table, I think we confused you slightly) Also a special mention for the Manager John, what a lovely man, very ''hands on'' and looked after us really well..The food was amazing, Chicken in cider sauce, sirloin steak cooked to perfection and our 16yr old son had the battered cod, he said it was the best fish and chips he has ever had, and..it was huge!! malteser cheesecake is a must! 3 meals really good portions, a bottle of wine and 2 soft drinks and a dessert approx £82.00 (not including a 10% service charge), good prices for Greater London..If there was a downside it was the service charge, we felt it wasn't made clear enough, and to be honest it was such a lovely experience that we would have left more than 10% as a tip..that said, we would definitely go back when we are in London again, in fact we would make a point of going. Great service Great food fantastic!!!!!Had drinks then went somewhere else to eat which was abysmal so came back and had food - it was brilliant good value good service highly recommend this place!!

We needed to get out of the rain, it felt too early for dinner, we needed the restroom .. so we stepped into The Two Sportsmen for a glass of wine.It was full and busy yet the staff were immediately attentive -- we got our drinks and were directed to the restrooms -- that are incredibly clean and well-maintained for an establishment with that much foot traffic.We did get space to be seated in what was the annexe to the bar -- a self-serve area. What was amusing were the 5 flat screens on the walls -- 2 devoted to a golf game and 3 to a cricket match. The audible commentary was for the cricket -- how do they even decide that?

There were numerous tables reserved with no one at them. We spoke to 2 different staff and said when the people came in we would move straight away but we were rudely told no. They said the people were arriving at 6pm. At 6.20pm when we left they were still empty.They lost paying customers to empty tables. Will not ever return. Food didn't look very nice either and there is plenty of other choice in the area.

Good experience, basic beer and food with good attention from staff. The techno music was a put off but the beer was cold!

Good polite efficient service. This is more like "pub food" than a restaurant, but non the worse for that, my steak &amp; kidney pie and my wife's fish &amp; chips were both well cooked &amp; well presented. The lemon desert was delicious. The wine list was unspectacular but had a good variety of wines at reasonable prices. A 12.5% optional service charge was added automatically to the bill with a further opportunity to add a gratuity/tip when paying by credit card, a bit naughty but unfortunately all to often seen these days to catch the unwary/foreign tourist.

We came to the Sportsmans after seeing a show, and luckily we prebooked as the pub was packed and at first we were refused entry.<br /><br />We were served quite quickly and the food also came quickly. We specifically booked here as we wanted to watch the rugby. <br /><br />The only negative we had was that we were told we had to vacate the table after only 1 1/2 hours. We would have liked to stay for another couple of drinks but this was not possible as we couldn&#039;t stand because one of our group is disabled and unable to stand for very long.<br /><br />We noticed that there was quite a few other tables that had people at them when we arrived and were still there when we left. So we felt a bit shoved out.

1st 15 minutes at the Two Sportsmen was spent proving we had a booking, which included a response from their website! Once seated service was slow and getting TV set to right volume a constant struggle. The gents toilets flooded and it took 30 mins for the management to work out that only option was to make the ladies multi use!

Arrivée dans le restaurant pour les 13h30, nous avons dû négocier une table pour moi et mes amis mais cela ne reste pas que à sa.. Aucun serveur n'es venu nous demander ce que nous désirions à boire soit manger !Ensuite nous avons interpellée deux à trois fois un serveur pour qu'il prenne notre commande sans suite ! Et après j'ai demander à la maitre de salle , elle n'a sur que me répondre '' what '' !!Donc évitez de perdre votre temps il y a certainement mieux dans Londres.

Great food, good atmosphere, great drinks and a city win

Spent an evening with a group of friends in mid December. Very good location and has a friendly feel as soon as you enter. Staff were excellent as was the food. The owner "Big Dave" was very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely recommend this bar/restaurant as a great place to meet and eat in Central London.

Food pleasant though not exceptional, great wine selection botany the glass and bottle, beers mediocre (no real ales).Two sports going on the tea but easy to listen to quite a relaxed atmosphere.Worth a visit.

We stopped here after our choice of venue was full. Good Friendly service. Average breakfast menu. Food nice but not outstanding. A good place if you're tired of walking around. Value for money &amp; nice environment. Coffee fine as well.

I was not impressed with this establishment at all, the customer service was as mediocre as the food. The bathrooms were a disgrace, most of the toilets were clogged and the rest weren't clean either. Wont come back.

Our group had done some research on visiting this venue and visiting early evening on a Monday evening it was reasonably quiet, which wasn't much of an issue.A reasonable menu was offset by the poor selection of beers on hand, however we made our order and awaited our starters, only for them to turn up at the same time as the main course, leaving us slightly disappointed especially at the non-perplexed attitude of the serving staff.Won't be in a rush to return.
