I went there to watch one of the Euros games. Quality went downhill compared to how it used to be, which makes older reviews quite irrelevant really. They changed the menu to the worse and service was not friendly (like they were doing you a favour to pour a drink) while prices went up. Never again. There are much better places for watching the games.

We came here on a Sunday without a booking to watch the F1 race. Despite not having a booking we were able to get a seat for 2 (although I would recommend booking to get a seat in your preferred area). My main complaint was service was fat to slow no matter if you ordered via the app or at the bar. Honestly think I would have bought at least 1 more round and probably two if the service was quicker. The pint glasses were not clean and the food was over priced for what it was although the sauces were tasty. The surroundings and set up for sport are brilliant, the rest though let it down.

We were a large group of 20 adults and kids who visited after watching the marathon for some food and drinks. Great atmosphere and staff very accommodating. Definitely worth a visit when you’re in the area.

The pub itself is fine regarding the setup and TV‘s available. That is the positive. The negative is that it is completely overpriced. Standard lager pints for Moretti, Asahi, Perroni etc. for more than £8!!! That is insane! Even for Canary Wharf. On busy nights they are completely disorganised. You wait at least 15-20 minutes to get a drink. Staff was trying their best but they couldn’t cope really. They didn’t open their second bar nor additional seating upstairs. Bad organisation/management plus overpriced drinks. Wouldn’t recommend unless it is too important.

Booked 22 person bottomless brunch with friends, everything was bad, we prebooked all the food and yet 2 people were still waiting for their food after 90 minutes, its a 2 hour bottomless brunch. When it finally arrived this food would make well done look rare, everything was overcooked (solid poached eggs, burnt toast), the only thing that wasn't overcooked was the unripe avocados. The drinks, which are the main event of the bottomless brunch, took forever to come out, I'm talking 20-45 minutes a round, and even then not everyone at the table would get one. It took so long, people struggled to eat the extremely dry food, some even gave up. We were told they were understaffed, hence the slowness. Fine. So we proposed some things to reduce the load on staff like bring out the bottles of prosecco to be poured at the table and mixing cocktails in larger quantities that could then be poured at the table. But No, turns out that was an excuse, not a problem to be solved, we were told the manager wouldn't allow it and so they continued pouring each prosecco glass at the bar and mixing each cocktail individually then carrying them over. Never has a bottomless brunch had a more solid, immovable and tedious bottom. By this point we were getting irritated at their failure to deliver the bare minimum of what was promised, they did extended our time after some complaining , which didn't mean much as the service was still painfully slow. Most people at the table were enduring the long wait for the next round of cocktails, so we asked for everyone at the table to get a glass of prosecco, which hopefully fill the gap. This is when the manager came over and started having a go at us. He said each person is only allowed one drink at a time, completely ignoring the reason why we asked, and the fact that most of the table didn't even have a drink. So instead of trying to overcome his staffing issue with some basic thought, he decided to come berate us. This was £40 each, my friend had enough and want to move to the next place, so paid, I think the £5 deposit we each paid was a more appropriate amount. They got £880 for that complete shambles.

I get this is Canary Wharf but £8.10 for a pint of Guinness is ridiculous. Not sure if its the most expensive place in Canary Wharf but its the most expensive I have been to. Will be going somewhere else next time after work.

Slow slow slow It’s a slow service and slog and seems like it’s not what they want to be doing also the chef had to go to the shop to get the food

Here for the boxing amazing atmosphere the staff were lovely drinks and food was amazing especially the crowd pleaser and fire and passion, Osama is a 10/10 manager on this place he is lovely and should get a reward.

Visité después del concierto a las 02 para ver la pelea de Fury / Wilder. Desde el momento en que entramos y mostramos a nuestro personal de mesa reservado fueron muy atentos, la camarera que tuvimos primero fue muy atento y también camarero más tarde. Cuando nos fuimos, le preguntamos al tipo de la puerta cómo llegar a los taxis, llamó a otro tipo que vino y nos acompañó durante aproximadamente un cuarto de milla por las calles y nos llamó un taxi negro, ¡qué servicio! Muchas gracias a todos los involucrados, el servicio al cliente insuperable es excelente teniendo en cuenta que ya era temprano en la mañana.

Me and my mate decided to head here on a Saturday afternoon as we were staying a short distance away and we wanted to watch the football scores come in whilst having a few beers and some food.There were plenty of screens showing various sports which was great and the lady behind the bar even put the Cricket on a screen for us which was good.The food imo wasn’t bad at all. The burger and Chicken Wings were nice, the only downside were the cold chips and the cold service that delivered the food.After having food we decided to have a game of darts. My mate went to the bar and was told that his card was needed as a deposit due to a recent theft of a previous set of darts. “That’s fine” he said, and he handed his card over. We opened the box that we were given to reveal 2 sets of darts. Now, as a regular player, this was an awful set of darts. At least 3 of them had a broken stem which resulted in the flights constantly coming out when thrown. After 45 minutes, we decided that it was time to call it quits and give the darts back behind the bar. My mate went to get his card back and was asked “Do you want me to charge this card?” “For what?” he replied. “It’s £10 for the time you played darts”. He reluctantly paid up and we decided to leave as we were off to watch a band that evening. Now, it’s one thing to be charged £10 for a short game of darts but it’s another thing to not be originally told about such a charge. We wouldn’t have bothered had we known that such a ridiculous price was needed to be paid. We spent a good £100 on food and drink which you would expect to be enough to allow you to have a short game of darts whilst you had a drink.

We visited on a Saturday evening with some friends to have a few drinks, some dinner and hopefully a game of darts. After being told that there were only 2 sets of darts available (which were both being used and despite there being 3 oches) we decided to find a table and have some dinner first. Fair enough it was a Saturday night and understandably busy but we could only find a high stool table which would comfortably fit 3 people (and there was 5 of us). We ordered our food but then a bigger table became free so we asked one of the waitresses if we could possibly move or if this would be an issue as the food would be going to the table we were currently at. Rather than receiving a polite response, we were barked at and told that we could move but only once the new table had been cleared and after we’d waited to receive our food at our current table. The woman (we didn’t get her name) looked like we’d caused such an inconvenience to her life and when one of our friends asked for ketchup with their meal, she stomped her foot and marched off to the kitchen. Embarrassing! When the food arrived it was lukewarm and rather tasteless. Extremely overpriced for the quality we received. After waiting another hour to find out that the darts weren’t becoming available we decided to leave and make use of our evening elsewhere. This place doesn’t deserve the money it charges in return for the shocking customer service and poor food it serves. We won’t be back and wouldn’t recommend you give it a go either unless they do something about their grouchy staff.

Look at the state of these ribs! The chips were half cooked and the coleslaw had an off taste. Absolutely aweful!!!

Having visited here a couple of times earlier on in the year and despite a customer service experience where some staff have a look that they really don't want to be there (it's not hard to work out which ones) I today joined 6 of my other colleagues for a Friday lunch. The bar itself is an OK sports bar, lots of screens with a good variety of sports to watch. The food is OK, nothing special. Burgers, hot dogs, pizza, wings etc etc. But it's OK for what it is. Today (Friday 20th December) was understandably a lot busier than the 2 times I've been before when it was completely dead, even at 5:30/6pm on a Friday (management should maybe wake up to why). Anyway we had our average meal and then was bought the bill...….£7 a pint!!!All 7 of us had 2 pints each, upon querying this we were told that they decided to add £1 to every drink for today only. There was no mention of this on the menu, and even the price list at the bar said £6. We all left with a feeling of being conned.They clearly need to make up for the poor performance for the rest of the year and have decided to make as much money for this day by ripping off the Christmas care free Canary Wharf workers.AVOID!!

The food was really awful. The staff were friendly but I couldn’t even look the waitress in the eye when paying. I literally would have been better off going to a Mac Donald’s. I would have paid quarter of the price and at least not be served dry, reheated chicken and cold fries. Everyone was not happy with their meal, I was planning on getting dessert after my meal, but I refused to do this. If the food was not great then god only knows what the dessert would be like. Never again

Great buzzing atmosphere to watch the football - a fun place to be! The servers are pleasant and welcoming. The problem was that there were not enough of them. Consequently it took a long time to get served. The concept of getting served at the table is great, but not if there are not enough servers! Loved the amount of screens!

Awful! Awful! Awful! Didn’t have anything they advertised on the menu. Horrible service, and average tasting food. Disappointing but not surprised. Should have seen the emptiness as a sign to run for the hills. Begrudging waitress and clearly understaffed. If you want a cold reception and lack lustre meal, this is the place for you!

Went to watch Wales vs New Zealand so bear in mind they would have had the whole World Cup to get themselves ready.

Having visited the bar regularly over the past few years when in London, I was disappointed in 2018 to have to comment on a downturn in the quality of the bar.

Lekker een fish & chips gegeten en een biertje gedronken. De service is prima en de sfeer heel gemoedelijk. Niks mis mee en je hoeft echt geen sportevenement te missen.

La razón principal por la que visité este bar con mis amigos un sábado a las 3 de la tarde fue para tomar unos tragos mientras miraba el fútbol de la Premier League en una de las numerosas pantallas grandes que cuelgan del techo. ¡Desafortunadamente este no fue el caso y todo lo que pudieron mostrar fue Sky Sports Soccer Saturday! La cara de Jeff Stelling estaba en todas partes. Para no desanimarse, pedimos más bebidas y reservamos una hora en uno de los juegos de tejo. Este es un juego de habilidad de calidad y más difícil de lo que parece. Definitivamente regresaría incluso si fuera solo para jugar este juego. En general, este es un bar limpio, espacioso y moderno, el personal era amable y las bebidas estaban frías.

I note some of the poor feedback about the Sports Bar and Grill but I have now been a few times to watch sport and it has always been enjoyable. On this occasion, again, we had a good time. A range of different sports being shown in HD and plenty of efficient and friendly staff behind the bar. There is a good selection of draught beers on offer and likewise a decent menu. If you want to have a few drinks and watch sport in pleasant surroundings then come here

We had dinner at Big Easy and moved quickly out after eating (poor staff, great food) and went to the Sports Bar so we could watch a little sport and cool down from the stuffy 30 degree temperatures.

Teníamos comida y cerveza aquí mientras veíamos el partido del Tottenham abriendo la temporada de la Premier League. Es conveniente para el Marriott en Canary Wharf, pero eso es lo más positivo. La comida está bien, pero es caro. Los nachos eran patatas fritas con un poco de queso derretido y salsa de un frasco. La hamburguesa era aceptable, pero no valía 12 libras. Decided to take a few colleagues there for a lunch time pint, bite to eat and game of pool. The reservation of the poll table was a simple enough affair, however everything else was shambolic. Bar staff had no concept of who to serve next. Ordered burgers off the lunch time special which arrived as I was leaving. Admittedly it only took 10 minutes to get a refund. Great shame as we were looking at an alternate lunch time meeting place. Won't be going back.

Such friendly staff who are very accommodating and try to ensure everyone can watch the sports match they want to. Great menu and good variety of drinks. Will definitely be back.

We went on a couple's night as we thought it would be somewhere quick and easy and the menu had everything from burgers to ribs to restaurants favourites to sub sandwiches.

Came here on a Thursday night for after work drinks and to watch the football. Bar is nice, spacious and clean in a modern part of Canary Wharf. Beer choice is quite limited but the upstairs pool and darts area is really good.

Reserved a place for 5 people with minimum spend off £20 per person. Then a couple of hours later before I had a chance to pay via the link provided they changed the offer and increased the minimum spend to £50 per person because two English teams are in the champions league final. Shocking conduct and pathetic way of exploiting customers via football.

Great atmosphere great staff good service the burgers are very tasty and also the ribs really good food you can see it all being cooked . If wish to . Have been a couple of times now . Worth a visit I think o. A Saturday you would need to book .

My friend was prevented entry because he was wearing tracksuit bottoms. (which were also ambiguous enough that the security had to first ask whether they are trousers)

So we attended this family restaurant, whilst my husband was on his lunch break. We were offered a high chair for our 12 month old baby in which we accepted.

I really enjoyed watching the BVB v Spurs game and Real Madrid V Ajax games simultaneously, I enjoyed the staff at the bar, once the game finished we moved round to the bar that was serving the cocktails, we asked for our a recommendation, the barman, went "I dont know, that one", then served us two horrible pornstar martinis as we didn't go with his suggestion, we didn't get the passion fruit or any passion from our server, that made our minds up to move on elsewhere.

Visitamos por un día de deportes y no nos decepcionó! Brillante lugar con cualquier cantidad de pantallas para mirar. Pedimos que nuestro juego de elección se pusiera en nuestra pantalla más cercana y no fue un problema. Todo el personal con el que nos encontramos fue muy servicial y atento. Tuvimos el desayuno y el almuerzo y no podía criticar la comida! Amplia selección de bebidas disponibles para satisfacer las necesidades de todos. Sin duda volveremos si estamos en la zona de nuevo!

La Copa de las seis naciones acababa de comenzar, así que, además de algunas personas que miraban PL, también había muchas pantallas que mostraban rugby. El lugar es bastante grande y puedes ver deportes desde todas las mesas en las que estás sentado.

Pasamos un sábado por la tarde para ver los resultados de fútbol y nos complació ver que hay un montón de pantallas para ver, así que nadie debe perderse (¡o no podrías ignorarlas si no estuvieras interesado!) Y fuimos al bar Estando donde estábamos esperábamos que las bebidas fueran caras y eran. Posiblemente pagamos un precio récord por una pinta de Guinness y un Pinot Grigio grande, al menos en el Reino Unido.

No soy un fan de dejar comentarios negativos, pero mi reciente visita fue tan pobre que me siento obligado a advertir a la gente sobre este lugar. Donde empezar. . . el servicio era muy deficiente: tardamos años en avisar a alguien para que nos atendieran (todo el personal, incluida la directora, parecía desinteresado) incluso tuvimos que llevar a nuestra camarera al bar para demostrarle que efectivamente servían la cerveza de Londres. Las bebidas no alcohólicas se servían con vasos calientes y no tenían hielo. La comida era igualmente mala: todas las papas fritas llegaron frías, la parrillada mixta era tan pobre que la devolví. La directora llegó a la mesa con el plato de comida para argumentar que lo único que faltaba era el hongo, porque no tenían ninguno. Luego tuve que explicar que la parrillada mixta no tenía extremos quemados, champiñones o cebollas y que no valía la pena 20. Evita este lugar si puedes y ve a la gran puerta de al lado. ¡Mucho mejor!

Visitamos el Sports Bar en un viernes ocupado buscando una comida y un lugar para ver el fútbol. Encontramos una mesa y después de preguntar si se podía colocar el balón en nuestra pantalla más cercana, el barman estuvo más que contento de acomodarnos. El servicio de mesa que recibimos fue excelente, desde tomar el pedido de comida hasta mantenernos llenos de bebidas el camarero fue impecable. La comida estaba bien preparada y presentada, en particular la Mac y el Queso, ¡que no escatimaban en Mac o Queso!

Came here at the end of 2017 when I first moved to London and upon entering had high hopes as the decor is fantastic, lots of games, energetic atmosphere and plenty of TV's showcasing all types of sport. I do recall it was a little confusing as to where we should either order at the bar or wait on the table service, we sat down for 10 minutes without any interaction from staff and so decided to inquire (wasn't particularly busy) which then resulted in drinks and food eventually but again at a delay that just wasn't necessary for how quiet it was. We all ordered a combination of wings, ribs which tasted great to be fair which was a redeeming factor.

I went to the sports Bar with my friends its my first time ! Good experience! We played and had food as well ! Fish and chips! The food wasn’t that great but its okay !

Service was very slow we waited for over an hour for deserts to come and to top it off I found a chicken wing bone in my drink. The manager got very confrontational when approached about this and refused to to anything about it as he ‘replaced the drink’

Loud, but nice place if one wants something from the grill, served with a smile. It was full when we arrived with no reservation, but they fixed us a table within minutes.

Great place to go either with friends or on your own and, of course, you like sport. Great selection of beer and good burgers and hot dog menu ( plus a few other dishes).

A group of 7 of us decided to try this venue for lunch- safe to say we won’t be making that mistake again.

Visited one Saturday late afternoon at about 5.00pm. I had hoped to use my Tastecard as their entry on the Tastecard website clearly suggested that patrons were welcome to walk in anytime except Thursday's and Fridays. So I was disappointed to find that this was not the case. The bar with TV screens was busy but the adjacent restaurant area was not.

Using Canary Wharf as our base on regular visits to London for sports-themed long weekends, the Sports Bar & Grill has long been our "local", even hosting a group gathering last year and I'm pretty certain I've previously rated it 5*.

I think this is Great Sports Bar and believe me I've drank in more than a few, we had something to eat as a family here before the women went off shopping while me & my son settled in for beer and live footie.

Went to the sports bar on a weekday lunchtime - Had to wait at least 5 minutes for a member of staff to actually appear before we could get served,when we were served the barman was extremely rude and abrupt.

Great service from the Dancing waitresses Kate and Nicola! Will definitely visit again, the onion rings were fantastic

Have been to the Canary SB&G; a few times and it what it says on the tin. Part of the SB&G; chain.

We came here the night before ride London , we ordered started which came very quick, the mains we had Mac and cheese which pretty much tasted like something you'd get out a school dinner. The waiter just kind of awkwardly watched us while we ate which was very off putting.

La comida es un poco cara, pero normalmente de muy buena calidad. Hacen el esfuerzo, si pides algo específico. El actual director es también el tipo de su llegada todo bien en una manera unintruding con una cálida bienvenida. Nos gusta.

I had the best time with friends watching the England v Belgium match, the staff were friendly and made me feel at home, especially one young man named Ed who dealt with our drinks and food fast and efficiently with a smile! Good experience all round.

Every Sports Bar and Grill I’ve been to has ridiculously slow service. Not only do you have to find a server to come to your table to begin with (they don’t come to you on their own), but over 1hr wait for simple food orders which you have to keep reminding them about. Any decent sports bar should learn to deal with larger order flows during matches instead of using it as an excuse for poor service time and time again.

I haven't been to this bar for some years, since it was also so packed, you could never get a table. I was curious why it was so quiet and few people were eating, I shortly found out.

Really POOR! Don’t bother, over priced bought in portions from some wholesale suppliers! Most of the menu is done in the microwave!

He visitado este bar de deportes para el almuerzo de última el viernes por la tarde con un amigo y tengo que decir, el nivel de servicio y calidad de la comida en este lugar es horrible! El lugar no era incluso que el autobús pero todavía tardó 45 minutos para recibir una hamburguesa y patatas fritas, pollo y pescado y patatas fritas.

Very poor service from manager Ali Akbar who was argumentative, rude and aggressive. He treated the staff awfully. Food takes over 45 mins and had to ask several times. Wouldn’t go here again

Came to watch a football match and had a good time! The food is good, and it isn’t very busy on a weekday!

Si eres el tipo de persona que se pone una emoción de comprar un billete de lotería, entonces felicitaciones porque este es el lugar para usted. He visitado este lugar en tres ocasiones y en cada momento tienen espectacularmente Error al entregar la comida yo y mis amigos tienen ordenados. Quizás le más suerte y la comida que pedimos será entregado.

Este lugar es adecuado para una cerveza o a ver un partido, pero eso es que termina. El personal es grosero (incluyendo la gerencia) y el servicio es terrible. No tienen organización y simplemente no les importa. Todos hablan en sus propios idiomas en frente de los clientes. Voy aquí simplemente por comodidad. Tan pronto como un competidor se abre, están terminadas.

Soy española pero estoy viviendo en Londres por un año. Es un poco difícil de encontrar un lugar donde jugar todos los juegos en español y este lugar, con más de 50 Tv es el lugar perfecto para ello! Es increíble el ambiente y la cerveza y la comida es bastante buena un id barato que tomar en cuenta que está justo en el corazón de Canary Wharf, con aquellos increíble paisaje de las edificios. . .

Friendly place to watch any kind of sports. Food is amazing and good quality, rich of different kind of beer and an excellent service especially Kevin, lovely waiter, always available and polite. If you are an American food and sport lovers this place is heavenly!!
