Spoon World Buffet and Bar in Medway

Food was cold, theres no room to move tables are squashed in. Children are priced on height and not age as states on website when questioned the lady taking our payment was rude and laughed at us! This place used to be great years ago.

Came following a spa day, looking for some variety of foods. How we the quality was not good. Staff were very friendly though. My wife did enjoy the desserts though

19 of us went for a family birthday. Over priced tbh, not as gd as it used to be. One of the grandchildren was adult price, even tho only 12 old . Done on height now supposingly. Be aware of some of the chicken not cooked properly. So hot in there, done for a reason so u don't stay too long. Had to ask to have a door open for some fresh air. Gone down hill, but prices have increased.

The only positive about this place was the selection. I am sure we were either overcharged or the price has gone up for aThursday evening. For 5 adults, and 2 children, one of which is 136 cm tall the other 156 cm, we paid £22.49 each. Food was nothing special as the meat was very chewy it made it difficult to eat. The knives were so blunt that they had trouble cutting through it. You feel very crammed in, no space to get up and go to get food without disturbing other diners. Overall, not a great experience for a first, and last time visit.

Blue light card discount, although they say they give blue light discount, they don't accept blue light card unless you take WORK ID CARD too, driving licence as ID with blue light card not accepted. Even though table booked for a time. Took them 15 minutes to seat us. Food OK, plenty of choice, price has gone up quite a bit since last visited

Avoid at all cost food cold tasteless weird textures went there yesterday for a birthday meal. Spent night with terrible heartburn and vomitting. Been here several times before but yesterday was the worst will not be returning again

Absolutely terrible! Food wasn’t cooked, pink meat and all round a horrible taste. had to get our own cutlery, Manager come over and explained he had worked in the industry for 10 years and that they cook the meat twice but the meat being very pink and super slimy was normal! You have to pay before you sit down, just a terrible experience with no apology or offer our money back. The manager was rude.

Having been a frequent visitor here for many years, sadly the quality of food has gone down since they re opened after covid. Many of the chicken dishes are rubbery and mushy and frankly tastes all the same, and how much salt they use in food will certainly use your yearly allowance of salt intake up, The custard dumplings had more dumpling than custard, the crispy seaweed was like cardboard in texture, I know it’s not fine dining but I do expect food of a reasonable quality. Now my biggest complaint it’s supposed to be an all you eat restaurant but they now impose limits on live cooking and how much you can have, the person behind cooking rudely said I had already had 3 items, clearly this is a cost saving excise and considering how much they now charge for entry is unacceptable. The refill drinks have now gone up to £3.50 other restaurants where you can get refills are not this much. So will I go back NO I used to love spoons but the shine and attraction has rubbed off. Oh and as you leave you’re now accosted by people begging for money.

Came on a Thursday night very busy but the team at the door were super friendly and welcoming, slightly annoying that it was cash only but not the end of the world, food was nice and hot the place was clean all in all very nice evening thank you

Never again.... My first time and my last. Expensive when you have dietary needs and hence your selection is reduced. The unisex toilets are awful, disgusting actually. Had to pay full price for a 12 year old because of his height! Not sure how fresh the meat is. It texture was rubbery, like it had been microwaved. Really disappointed. Looked forward to at least having desert.... disappointed. I could only have Eaton mess... which I wish I had not bothered. Its fruit was frozen... no flavour. I thought the gammon was nice. The staff were nice but wanted to pounce on anything empty! The best bit was leaving!

I’m not a fussy eater and I have a massive appetite…I can’t actually work out why there were so many people in the restaurant. It was the worst buffet I’ve ever eaten at. On first glance I was very excited. Chinese was ok, Indian was rotten, there was a funny taste to the curry. Things looked nice but didn’t taste of anything or if they did, it wasn’t good. I’d compare it to a really crap all inclusive at a 1 or 2 star hotel. Crepes were like rubber. I tried many different puddings and left them all after one bite and that’s unheard of for me!! They looked good but it ended there. We were a part of 8 for a birthday so at £160 plus drinks, we’ve all come home very disappointed! We spoke to the lady at the till who claimed that you don’t pay for the food, it’s your seat at the table and as we were sat for an hour it’s tough. Gave us credit note for 2 people, I wouldn’t even want to go back for free food!

Spoon was an amazing place to go, the food was delectable and there was a wide range of sweet and savoury foods. I 100% recommend this for you and your friends. I hope you enjoy your experience as much as I did. 🥘🍜🥟🦪🍛🍲🍘🍣🥠🥠🥠

The food was un arguably delicious, the service was beautiful and it was set up perfectly. I would really recommend this for a general night out with your friends. Hope you enjoy as much as I did. 5 STAR ⭐️.

I've eaten here many times over the past 10 years and always enjoyed the food, lunch or at dinner. Tonight, I visited with 7 family and friends, for dinner at 1930. I was gravely disappointed at the poor quality of food left for us. We all commented that it looked like the food was left over from either lunchtime or the night before. The food dishes were nearly all empty and what little food that was left was dried and and almost inedible. I won't be going back there, sorry but you've lost my loyalty

Fantastic restaurant! We've been going for years and still love it. So much choice for a reasonable price. Where else in Chatham would you find sushi?! Very popular place indeed!

I have been to Spoons loads of times. Four or five times with my mum and once with my brother. It never disappoints us. The customer service is always amazing and I love how the food is always nicely laid out.

We’d booked to take my son here for his birthday and although we showed the staff our booking confirmation at the door they refused to honour the booking as they couldn’t find it on their system. The way the woman spoke to me was atrocious and my 9 year old son was left really disappointed as he’d been looking forward to today. Will never go back to that place again.

Really disappointed on this visit went as a large family dinner and had already phoned them to book a table due to the size of our party 5 adults and 4 children. Who had travelled for an hour to get to the restaurant. was told to just turn up as it was quiet. we were seated pretty quickly but after an hour we were told that we would have to leave as not booked for longer time, did explain that we had tried to book for the extra time but they refused and Was not able to continue our meal and had to leave. Really disappointed with the choice on offer that day

Second time here food is excellent plenty to choose. They even cook your choice of seafood in front of you. My only small issue would be at least give the guest about 2 hours instead of 1 and half hour especially when you go with a big family.

There is no air con Rubbish fans on the floor blow hot air at your feet People bang into you and nearly knock your food or drink out of your hand when its busy Go on a rainy day in the winter !!! Nightmare in the heatwave
