Spicy Chef in Bury

The pizza was okay, but the kebabs were awful, very little Chicken on a mixed kebab, and what we had was so over cooked and dry, it was unbelievable

Worst curries we have ever had! Two different dishes but same base, bland sauce. Keema naan was 2 garlic breads stuck together with some paste in the middle. Order was 40% off so they didn’t fill the containers. Stop the curry dishes, it’s clear there is no effort put into them.

Absolutely pathetic, there was no chicken pieces in Bhuna curry, just 2 tiny pieces in a sweet curry sauce that tasted like a 1 week old left over food, also the Chapatis was like Papadoms, it was so hard to break it, the portions was less, not worth ordering from this place again

All food was cold. Pakora was like cardboard. Most of the food was thrown away as didn’t want to chance reheating knowing it had already been microwaved before delivery.

Ordered large Korai chicken and delivered small portion. Called restaurant and despite being polite twice they put the phone down on me. Terrible service!

Food is 10/10 and always so quick can’t fault

I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anybody it was disgusting the amount I paid for the food and half of it never turned up.

tikka masala tasted like tomato soup.Chicken tikka had no flavour and kebab meat was dry.2 stars for the salad as this was the best part

Actually read the notes which is refreshing & food came quicker than expected which is a bonus. Only thing I can have to say is the doner meat was a bit mushy and flavourless, other than that the rest of the meal was spot on & would order again. Thanks

We order food from here all the time and its good, but for some reason tonight the naan bread was over cooked and basically crispy and when we got the mixed kebab and opened it the naan bread was crumbling to bits because it was hard so we couldn't use the naan bread to hold the meats, usually we've had this before and the naan bread is normally thick and soft to hold the meats maybe they were busy and left the naan bread in cooking for too long?

Popadoms smashed into small pieces, mixed starter didn’t taste very nice, chicken tikka biryani had no flavour & keema naan very greasy. All I can say is what a waste of money, I tried this place tonight because they were offering 30% off, if I was offered 95% off I still wouldn’t order again.

Ordered the chicken tikka masala and honestly it’s just tasted like a really bland tomato soup, didn’t enjoy it all

Went for the 2 person set menu. Everything was nice - especially the onion bhaji (flat and not over battered). Wasn’t too keen on the chicken tikka masala as it was very heavy on the tomato. 15mins late but they said they were busy and the food was still warm. Would order from here again.

Ordered two pizzas (veg hot & peri chicken)…veggie hot pizza was completly burnt from sides and soo hard for a bite. I order veggie almost every other week. Being a regular customer i called the takeaway and a kid answered but later a senior member called back and apprently told me he was the one who made the pizza…i explained him what was wrong…he kept on sayin i made it and its not burnt…i have pic wish i could post it on here..spoke to me soo rudely unbelievable. Will not order ever again!

I ordered a chicken dansac and chicken spring rolls. They turned up hot opened up the curry to find that it was mainly grease and 70% pineapple. As for the chicken spring rolls there was no chicken in them they were lamb and extremely spicy. We used to order from here every week but after this experience we won’t be ordering again. For a chicken curry to cost £10.50 you expect there to be a reasonable amount of chicken and sauce in there. I understand putting pineapple in there but not that much

Nan bread was that dry it was already snapped in the packet along with having no traces left of meat inside of it all shrivelled to nothing curry was alright wouldn’t say it was fresh as it was bland no texture and popadoms was chewy out the packet not a good experience subpar at best

Everything was perfect except I didn’t get cookie dough ice cream it was a different flavour

The food was good, I had a garlic b4ead and a pizza. My only constructive criticism is to make a better tomato base sauce for the pizza. Also a better garlic bread base sauce with fresh herbs, and garlic. But the food was still very fresh.

The meat used was very poor quality and very chewy, did not taste fresh. The takeaway was also 25 minutes late so id say the quality of the food is definitely not worth the wait. Won’t be ordering from here again.

I am a regular customer….today pizza’s was horrible…taste was really off. The chicken pakoras were extremely bad…went straight in bin. Very disappointed.

The chicken was very poor quality!! Not breast meat, as would be expected in a curry dish. At over £12 pounds per dish, chicken breast should have been used. The food we ordered was inedible. I will never order from here again.

Arrived ahead of time and was hot. Food was ok. It would’ve been better if the menu stated the wraps came with fries so I wouldn’t have spent extra money ordering fries that have gone to waste.

Hi, i got charged £15 and i don’t know what it was for as i didn’t order anything else, can i get that refunded please?

Ordered a mix kebab and chicken burger meal, kebab was ok but the chicken burger was an absolute disgrace it looked like it had been through a mixer a spat back out. Phoned the shop to ask them to collect but they refused, arrogant shop assistant on the other end of the phone pretty much just hung up the phone. We will never order from here again I urge nobody to order from this shop, customer service was shocking food was terrible. There are better shops around town that provide a much better service. Stay away from here at all costs !

food was lukewarm and tasteless. the garlic bread tasted of dough and the peri-peri pizza tasted of bread with the occasional hint of peri-peri sauce. every other time i’ve ordered from here the food has been really good but it’s been getting steadily worse recently. the delivery driver didn’t even leave his car and just handed everything through a half-open window.

I wish I can share the discussion with the delivery guy.. can't respect being disable and refused to deliver to my door.. guys; it's called ((Door Delivery)) not street Delivery, asked him twice why he wouldn't come up, and I got no answer.. Just to complete the picture: ALL other Just Eat and Uber Drivers do deliver to my door- really disappointed and will never order again
