Spicey Bite in Worcester

Hadn't eaten from here for a while and decided we wanted to have a Pathia and when we ordered, we asked for it to be mild (something which we always have). It arrived within the time that I was told and it was hot. Unfortunately the Pathia was extremely spicy hot and un-eatable for us. Rang up and the gentleman was apologetic and organised a fresh new order. This arrived quickly but unfortunately half the Pathia was in the bottom of the bag. Again, everything was cooked hot but the Pathia just wasn't right, full of onions, tomato's, was more like a stew. Credit to the staff who happily sorted it all out but the Pathia was terrible

Some of the chicken pieces were raw inside, and nothing was cooked in the tandoor as expected. I paid extra for a main-sized portion, but it was the same as the regular size. The only positive was the quick delivery.

This restaurant and takeaway has recently changed hands and oh wow!!!!. My husband and I ordered a takeaway last month and noticed the difference immediately. We chose the Lamb Bhuna. It was amazing both in flavour and authenticity. The meat just fell apart, I phoned and thanked them for such a fantastic meal, please try you won’t be disappointed

I have been using spicy bites for 30 years and I have always enjoyed the food never had a problem but recently I have hade 2 take a ways on separate occasions and the were awful both times the meals were watery as if it had been frozen I phoned them up and was assured it would be ok but it was terrible I have given them chances to put it right but it made no difference she’ll not be using them again

The WORST curry iv ever had, watery tasteless slop. Do not waste your money, I was a regular here for a long time and it used to be top notch, I even gave them five stars, I ordered the same 2 specials as normal, the last time I ordered it was bad but decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and try again. Wish I hadn’t, the bread stale also, they are ripping people off

Ordered from here 6 or 7 times in the last few months. Every time, the order is either wrong, tastes off or items are missing! since the new owners have taken over, the service is terrible! was my favourite place, now I will never go back! Do not recommend at all

We had two vegetarian meals with tandoori roti and they were the tastiest we've had for a long while. I'd recommend them.

Had a little issue with my food. However they have sorted it out. The flavour of the curry was amazing the man on the phone is very understanding and got great service. Thank you and will be ordering again

Ordered a selection of dishes online for collection and got a free starter. Food was ready ahead of time, friendly staff, everything remained hot during my walk back to the canal where we were moored. Everything very tasty, CTM was maybe sweeter than we’re used to but the poppadoms were so light and crisp and moorish. Great value, good choice of food, what more can one ask.0

Ordered a takeaway. Very disappointed this time (used to be excellent). I had a mixed vegetable balti. Very spicy, made my nose run! Also it contained a date with the stone still in - nearly broke my tooth! What is a date doing in a vegetable dish?

The food is absolutely amazing! Both times we have ordered the food has been amazing, full of flavour in the generous portions (had plenty for breakfast the next morning 😂). Also both times we've ordered it has been at my door in under half an hour!

We've been using Spicy Bite for quite a while now and it used to be very good but has been going steadily downhill for a while now. I think maybe they've changed the chef because some of the dishes taste nothing like they used to! This week's takeaway was the final straw for us, we didn't finish any of the food because it was that bad and the sauce in my chicken tikka masala was like thin tomato soup slopping all over the place. Won't be using again! ☹️

We had a delivery for four and the food was way too spicy - it actually burnt my tongue and I like spicey food. There must be a new chef as the sauce had an odd consistency (quite lumpy) and my mouth was burning…… when I only ordered a chicken balti. Two more of meals were also too heavy handed with the chilli - we actually left half of it. Very sad as we won’t go back and it used to be our favourite Indian takeaway

Since the new management. This place has gone down hill. I would advise not to eat from here. Poor customer service. Very bad food. Very unhygienic. I'm sure if Worcester council would close this place down If they saw what was happening in the kitchen. I don't think anyone would come a mile near this place

Must have changed hands was the best in worcester previously samosa were cold in the middle and pre bought frozen ones unlike the previous home made ones. The rest of the order tasted and looked nothing like previous vista. Contacted the restaurant and they couldn’t care.

Food was nice but very different, so either they've got a new chef or the old owner has sold his business. New website too. The mixed kebab I had was nice but very spicy! If you are new owners, I hope your new business venture is a success!

I have ordered recently and I have to say very poor value for money. One dish only had about 5 small peice of lamb meat Though i cannot complain about the flavour . I certainly wouldn't recommend .

Ordered take out: Chicken Tikka Masala and Lamb Tokka Masala???? Seriously??? Sweet tomato sauce with coconut!!! No spice, no heat, no flavour just a sweet sickly red coconut sauce!! Absolutely disgusting!! Papadoms and rice were fine (How hard can that be?? Nan breads terrible…but they’re never good as take out.

I have ordered twice recently and I have to say very poor value for money. One dish had only 3 prawns and the Lamb Madras was very sadly short of lamb. Though i cannot complain about the flavour . I certainly wouldn't recommend .

I ordered takeaway for five people during our stay near Worchester. I chose our meals online through their website. The menu had everything that I could wish for in indian food. I had to create an account, but the registration was quick and simple. The delivery came after 60 minutes and was right on time, just as they promised. And oh my god the food. Everything was soooo delicious and I just loved everything. The food was piping hot and the portions were huge, I wasnt even able to finish my dish. The prices were fair and per person we were just around 12£. If I'm ever again near Worchester I will definitely order Here again. Five stars without a doubt.

Amazing food. Superb customer services and respectful staff. Clean premises and great management. Food was delayed in delivery but we had partial refund as apology. That was a nice touch and great customer service. Absolutely will be back. No doubt.

Order direct from here (not via a food ordering app) and youll recieve great food and service and Spicey Bite willfeel the benefit too.

I want to say that this is by far the best Indian takeaway that we have used for a long time . Unlike others that we have used in the past , the food from here is consistently good week after week . There is often a long wait for deliveries but they tell you that at the time of ordering and to me this just reflects in the quality of the food when it arrives . Well done spicy bite.

I have been going to this place for a while now and 99% of the time the food and service have been excellant. Obviously things do happen and not everything can be perfect all time. This place is always busy , which goes to show how good it actualy is. A greate place to get a take away!

Have enjoyed food from here before .. ordered food at 5.30pm .. recieved text to say driver had left at 6.30pm and waited outside .. driver then texted to say he was stuck in traffic at 7pm and couldnt tell me when he will arrive .. called the shop and couldnt get any sense out of them .. not using them again

Used this takeaway a lot in the past and the staff taking the order have alway been friendly and informative. However when we ordered our last meal at 5.30pm mid week, we did not expect to have to wait an hour and twenty minutes. The food usually arrives within forty five minutes and an hour at the most on busy nights. Had to ring twice and told driver on his way. When he did arrive he wasn't at all bothered about the delay, shrugged and said that a normal time..to top it all, the food was only just warm. Give the job to someone who gives a damn.

Advertise on just eat they deliver to my address. When order was declined I rang up and they said they don't deliver that far which wasn't even really the problem it was the fact that when I informed them to take it off just eat the guy was rude and just spoke over me saying well we don't deliver. Good customer service and politeness isn't too much to ask for.

Ordered for delivery filled in all the fields on the website TWICE as it wouldn’t except it the first time as it always does waited an hour only to be called by the restaurant to say when are you collecting. (UM I ASKED FOR DELIVERY LIKE I HAVE DONE THE LAST 10 times?) oh ok we will be there in 10 minutes......45 minutes later and cold food no apology but demanding £2.50 more than it was when order placed???? So argument with delivery driver and another 10 minutes and even colder food. Don’t think will be ordering again from here such a same as nice food to be honest but customer service NEEDS ADDRESSING

Always enjoy the food from here. Always of good quality and hot when delivered. The service is great. Always very friendly, and chatty. When it was icy outside, they offered to carry the box of food to the car for me. Would definitely recommend to a friend.

The worse ever place to order from. Customer service is very very poor! Wanted to charge me extra for card payment BECAUSE I was ordering an offer BUT the offer I ordered i had extra so was already paying over £6.20 of the offer! It's a joke! The offer was £16.00 Rip off, rude, man if ever I have came across one. I would not trust these people with cooking my food and not messing with it

It took an hour and a half to arrive, some of the meal was missing and the food was not what we expected. The balti was more like a masala - very disappointed.

Teníamos un llevar entregados desde este lugar, el cual nos fue recomendado por un par de personas. Nunca he comido más desagradable comida en mi vida. Pedimos la manguera de worcester Baltimore BWI Airport especial. .. Prácticamente no había carne carne, y lo que había era tan duras como las antiguas botas!!! Pedimos el pollo shahey Baltimore BWI Airport, que también tenía casi cualquier carne y el pollo era difícil!! ¿Cómo puede haber pollo difícil? !? Pedimos panneer Masala, bien, esto era otra cosa. .. que parecía, olía y sabía como vomitar! Fue un color crema de 'líquido ' con pedazos de cosas verde flotando sobre. Pagamos 20 libras por este horrible cosas (con 1×arroz). Nos solemos usar Montis) llevar india ( justo abajo de la calle del picante bocado) y seguirá haciéndolo así como la comida es increíble. 'Lo siento Montis) para strayin'!! ... Así que amigos si quieres tirar el dinero por el desagüe ir a picante bocado, de lo contrario, evítalo!!

Más de una hora y media esperar para la entrega. Cuando finalmente llegó la comida estaba fría y sosa. Incluso las Madrás fue totalmente carentes de sabores y especias. acompañamos nuestros platos principales con patatas fritas frías poco hecha, hoteles insulsos samosas duro y chapattis de cartón. Nos decepcionó mucho y no cabe duda de que no vale la pena la espera. No volveremos.

As the heading says, as a takeaway or delivery. This is cheep & cheerful, but NOT lacking in quality. The food is good & they're quite happy to cook something a bit different to the menu.

after ordering from this takeaway the weekend we were shocked at the sevice we receieved on placeing our order after over a 2 hour wait and many phone calls later we had our food delivered what we did receive was half the order and cold food also very shocked at customer service after calling them to let them no the young chap i spoke gave me his managers mobile number whitch i phoned to be told that because we orderd through just eat on line that we were unable to get a refund because it took them 2 weeks to get there money from just eat. after being fobbed off with one excuse after the other we just chucked it in the bin and gave up very bad service indeed.so be aware.

We've had numerous deliveries from here and they NEVER fail to satisfy. As an avid curry lover Spicey Bite is a culinary Asian food master class. Excellent service every time.
