This place is always superb , sometimes the food may take a bit longer to prepare in busier times but stay with it as the quality and quantity are absolute superb and the staff are very helpful and friendly - just love this place been coming here for years now.

Why was there no one in on a Saturday Night ? My wife and I visited here on the 15th of July and there was just one other couple in. First impressions was oh dear we've picked the wrong one tonight, but how wrong could we be. The food was plentiful, fresh, hot and tasty very tasty, in fact it was one of the best Indian meals we have had and trust me we have had some blinders. The prices seemed very very reasonable in fact more like takeaway prices, 2 starters, 2 mains and 1 Rice, 1 Chips, 1 Nan and 2 pints of Cobra for less than £35 come on you have to admit that takes some beating.

The food was absolutely amazing and such good value for money. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend!

Just ordered for three of us, arived really quickly. All fresh and redhot. Couldnt decide which Indian to choose as I am visiting after moving away years ago. So decided on here. Will be ordering from here next time. Even the bag of salad was cold and that has never happened, we always joke about the bag of warm salad! Well done! Thank you.

Nice layout better than the average UK Indian. The food is of good quality. Service is quick and very polite. Good for takeaway also.

Gone massively down hill, not the same place it used to be. Will never use again unfortunately. Dreadful food and always forgetting items out the order!

I ordered my usual which is chicken korma & pilau rice. It was absolutely beautiful as per usual, the chicken was moist & the sauce was so fragrant & full of flavour. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Food was lovely with the exception of the rice which was mushy and gloopy. Would order again but the rice needs to be fresher.

Portions were tiny. Tandoori mix platter main was just like a starter. no dips for the popadums even though we payed for them. Ordered garlic keema naan but no garlic in them. Butterfly king prawn £4.50 was like a fish finger. Not impressed

Vegetable curry was bland and no seasoning and bit like frozen veg in a sauce. Vindaloo was mild in heat and the lamb was very tough. Disappointing.

I ordered a chicken Korma & pilau rice. This is one of the tastiest, nicest, most flavoursome kormas I’ve ever had. The chicken was melt in the mouth and not chewy and hard like I’ve had before from other restaurants. And the rice was lovely and soft. I will 100% be returning to this restaurant. TOP MARKS!!!

The paper bag collapsed due to wet from the rice and curry went everywhere.

Order not received. Rang multiple times to be told it was on the way 2hours 30 mins later no order received. Not happy at all. Had to order from somewhere else

Well I've used this Indian for years sadly never again. nearly £40 the poppadoms were old the rice hadn't been strained and both lamb dishes had very little lamb. This used to be the best but don't waste your money.

Probably one of the worst chicken madras ever had was like eating chicken with curry sauce from a chip shop no spice at all even my 2 year old son could eat some

Unfortunately the last time I will be using this restaurant. A previous favourite but the last few ocassions the food has been consistantly poor. Im not sure if there has been a change in chef but the difference is dramatic. I had Lamb achari was was very watery with 5 small pieces of very tough lamb.

I’m really sad, I have ordered a couple of times from this restaurant, but tonight my meal was definitely not up to standard for the price of £15 +. It was very cold when it arrived, whether or not I was at the end of a delivery run I don’t know, and the mint sauce was opened and empty as it was all over the bag and the other part of the meal. The peshwari naan was almost entirely plain naan with little filling, a cheaper version perhaps ? So all in all, not a great experience and will not be ordering again. Sorry about this.

Great restaurant with lovely staff. Food was fantastic…. and the mint sauce dip tasted great. One of the best meals I’ve ever tasted in an Asian restaurant

First time we have ordered from this place, but it will be our last.All the dishes all tasted the same. And plled up with masses of onions.

Worst Indian ever had.. tasteless like a jar

Food was delivered 2 1/2 hrs after ordering, only half the order was delivered, when we called to rectfy the order, we were told they were closed. They then sent "replacement items " which were still not what we ordered. Very disappointed . Have previously had great service from this restaurant, so feel really iet down.

Shame about the delivery time!! Food was beautiful and hot but delivery time about an hour late.

It's been 2.5 hours and still haven't received out order. We are regulars at Light of Asia and normally, it takes approx 1 hour and overall we get good service and nice quality. I asked over 30 minutes ago where the order was and was only it had left the restaurant and was on its way. At this rate, its likely to be fairly cold. I'm disappointed Light if Asia, what's happening tonight?

Absolutely superb Cheeky but the amount of money i spent thought id get complimentary drink.like other places.. However no complaints as food was amazing/hot/packaged etc..(re-heat tomorrow) Very impressed

Will definitely not be having a curry from here again. Ordered around half 5. Delivery expected at 6.20. Rang at 6.50 the guy wasn't apologetic at all just told me was waiting for the driver. Food turned up at 7. Granted it was hot but that's as good as it got. More flavour in the poppadoms than the lamb bhuna absolutely disgraceful. Not one for leaving reviews but this experience really boiled my p***.

Order was 40 minutes late, so took over 2 hours from ordering. The rice and naan bread were cold on arrival. The curry was very watery and no flavour. Very disappointed and won't be order from here again.

Absolutely ridiculous, ordered at 7.30 , told driver was on route , two hours later still no food . Called them and got no answer. Simply a joke I want my £13.50 back . Will never use again!!!!!

Ordered food. 3hrs later they said it was coming. I had to go to work. When I finished my care call I had to go pick it up as they still weren't answering the phone all the lamb was all hard. Lost my custom

I rang the restaurant to see where my order was as it was over 30 min late to be told it would still be warm when it arrived. It arrives 60 min late and was cold. Not the best.

I ordered a duck starter and it was chicken, food was very greasy

Food was nice although not hot would say warm also seemed a little bland as ordered lamb rogan which normally is slightly spicy just seemed to be greasy as opposed to tasting mainly of tomatoes which I believe to be main ingredients of the dish would I order again possibly not main reason was it was not temp hot and a warm dish is not what I was expecting

If your hungry and hate the pets in your house or your wife or husband I strongly recommend this place You will wait ATLEAST 2 hours after they’re received your order leaving you enough time to season your cat and throw it in the slow cooker It is the perfect way to build up an appetite and disappointment at the same time Either order this or get back with your ex and eat a cold greggs pasty you’ll have the same feeling 5/5 awful food and will order again when i have the overwhelming urge for a bland curry or to eat my neighbours dog

Disgusting and tasteless Just received our takeaway and it was tasteless, the chicken was chewy and the rice was bland also no taste to the garlic nan. Will never order from there again 👎 crap

Half hour late, food is cold, popadoms broken to pieces in the bag and all the containers leaking and dented, clearly at the bottom of a big pile in the delivery drivers car, no apology for being late either

Great food, attentive service, unbelievable value for money at 8.95 for 5 courses… The food quality and ingredients are fabulous here, it’s been quiet if late but the specials and happy hours should be supported

Curry and rice was good, very nice, chips were soggy, little disappointed with only 1 poppadom but the mint yogurt and mango chutney was nice and the garlic naan was tiny compared to other places, more like a pitta bread.

We had a table booked on a Sunday night for 10 people. The service was excellent from start to finish. Our starter orders were taken first with our mains being taken after. This meant each course came out fresh and at its best. There were no complaints about any dish from anyone. The best indian meal we've had in quite a while.

First time customers and will definitely be returning! Food was piping hot, well portioned and cooked perfectly! Everything was intact and correct. Hard to find a good vegetarian option but LOA has tonnes! Food arrived earlier than expected which was a bonus!

They sent the wrong items ordered chicken they sent prawn

The popadoms I ordered tasted like cardboard. It bent rather than snapped. It was chewy when it should have broke in my both when it was bending.

Food arrived late, aspects of the order was missing and incorrect. Food was quite bland. Wouldn't recommend.

The food here is always exceptional , what sadly lets it down is the time it takes to arrive on your table , it took about 40 minutes for the starter and an hour for the main course , there are plenty of staff at...

Had high hopes but very disappointed. I don't like food to be too spicy but this was tasteless. The naan was very soggy. The poppadums were nice and my son said his masala sauce was nice and the chicken was tender but again it was tasteless It took about 70 minutes to be delivered which seemed a long time but I didn't look how long it would be when I ordered so it could have been within the time given

The food from here is great but the delivery driver needs to read thr instructions that are left with the order. Said he was very annoyed that he had been knocking on the front door for 10 minutes, when the instructions said not to do this and to go round the back.

This is by far the best Indian food that I have ever tasted extremely authentic and was perfect very nice risk sauces perfectly spiced would recommend to anyone the lamb passanda its unreal very fresh and nice naans literally not one issue everything has been nicely packaged and was piping hot worth every penny
