Brotton Tandoori in Redcar and Cleveland

That was the worst curry i have ever had most of it went in the bin never again £35 we will never get back !!!!

Ordered and the food turned up and was very tasteless rang up and gave them the opportunity to fix the problem and they redid the order for us but even the 2nd time food wasn't overly any better doesn't seem to be any consistency to the flavour at this moment in time wouldn't recommend and not in any rush to give them another opportunity any time soon Delivery driver was lovley as was the young women who answered the phone and tbh so was the manager it's literally the food that let's them down £43 wasted

Used to be very good value for money. However, it is now overpriced and packaged in plastic, get about 5 pieces of meat. Will no longer purchase from here.

Used to be one of the best in the area. Ordered 2 curries tonight. Absolutely atrocious, it was like soup. No flavour what so ever. £28 complete waste of money

This is the second and last time this will happen, go to Spices Saltburn instead. Ordered at 17.40, delivery ASAP apparently, estimated 40 min (18:20). ordered and paid for online. Two separate orders put through within minuets, with a note indicating this to help them. Over an hour later we rang to see where it was, should be here any moment we are assured, another 15 min wait. When it did eventually arrive most of it was stone cold (Loftus to Brotton). Obviously, forgotten again I assume. However, to be fair, web page really good, food tasty, prices average. Just don't expect to get it in a hurry or warm or anywhere near the time they say it will be delivered. On a plus side at least it was all here this time unlike on other occasions.

Food cold due to the VERY late deliver, over and hour (estimated 40min) No explanation or apology. Happens regularly, sometimes with item missing. Will NOT be using again, try Spices in Saltburn instead.

curry and rice swimming in a pool of water, it's disgusting. the delivery was fine but the food is awful. it's gone in the bin and £20 has gone down the drain.

AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE Order turned up with missing rice, ring the shop and explain lady says it will be sent out ASAP 40 minutes pass still no rice so ring the shop to be told still not left so I explained the curry and nan breads where cold to be told the owner wouldn't send us a new order and that they didn't know how to refund us as we ordered online! Owner wouldn't even speak to us on the phone. Horrendous customer service.

First time I've used the place but I will certainly be going back there!! Only one bad thing to say!! I got the meal for two but they only sent one nan bread!!

Lovely food. We've been twice now and will be back soon. It's a 30 minute drive to collect it from there, but worth every mile.

Have used them now for 6 year's. The staff are always so friendly and helpful.

Absolutely love this Indian, not many round here so we are extremely fortunate to have one as good as this!

Three of our four mains were watery as in the food separated. Tasteless too so we won’t be using them again.

Not good. Lots of sauce, chicken described as barbecued had no flavour. The poppadoms tasted reasty and unpleasant - please change your oil more often!

Bit gutted as it’s usually lovely. Took an hour and a half to get here, only for the chips n nan to be raw (nan was still dough) and for the curry to be tasteless. Very disappointed.

Poor quality ingredients - using frozen bags of veg over fresh! Shop bought poppadoms, poor spicing and seasoning…. Gone really down hill! Such a shame

Food was beautiful ,my only criticism is that the tandoori main mixed grill arrived in a small tub and not an insulated bag and was therefore cold.also the mint sauce came in a tiny tub and the salad consisted of 1/8 of a tomato and 1 slice of cucumberand some lettuce.i would have liked to have rwa onions in there too.having said that I would definitely order from them again

We ordered a takeaway for 4 people to be delivered to our holiday cottage in skinningrove. The food was amazing! So tasty and flavoursome . Ordered online, didnt have to wait too long for delivery

This is the first time we have used Brotton Tandoori, and it certainly won’t be the last. Fresh, hot, and with fantastic flavours this Indian takeaway has to be commended. One thing ( well I liked lots of things!) I liked was that they only use fresh chillies, and not that synthetic rubbish that leaves an aftertaste the following day. Well done all, and see you again soon!

Best chicken Vindaloo I've had for many many years, I've tried others but they don't come anywhere near to the ones I get from this tandoori. Thank you for been there.

Dissapointed, dishes just bullked out with overbearing amount of largely chopped onion, salad was at best on its way out over priced for the lack of quality.

Always use Brotton Tandoori a Lovely meal and never been disappointed and the staff always pleasant 👍

The prices tha are charged nd the quality u get what a shame. £9 for curry was just filled the bottom nothing free with the curry at all. Qulanders in Saltburn are great value nd amazing

Have got to say we’ve had a takeaway for the last 2 saturdays the food was really good we are both foodies and after a really busy week this is just what we needed !

Visited here due to a recommendation and wished we didn't. I felt the meal of poppadoms, dips, one main meal and one side dish was expensive at £25. Poppadoms fresh but dips extremely artificial in texture and colour. My side dish of chick peas and spinach felt like I was eating rocks. My husband was up through the night spending quality time with the toilet. Perhaps we are just fussy but won't visit again.

We are staying in Staithes, ordered a takeaway which they delivered. The prices are very reasonable and the delivery arrived in less than an hour. The curries were excellent, very tasty. We all enjoyed our food and I definitely would use them again. Recommended.

Hi We are on holiday for a week in a rented cottage in Skinningrove Yorkshire we ordered a indian takeway from Brotton Tandoori last night. The food was excellent cooked well full of spices and flavour and pipeing hot how it should be. The Driver was pleasent and on time, hats off to this takeaway 5 stars is a must keep up the fantastic work well done to all. Mr & Mrs R.Graham (Warrington England )

Very disappointed with tonight's meal ..No salad,No Raita,my King prawn Madras had about 6/7 prawns if that.Contacted to complain but had no call back as yet...very p9or service.

The food is beautiful, the staff are lovely.. my only teeny tiny complaint is my poppadoms tasted like they had been cooked in old or dirty oil however that's the first time that has happened and hopefully will be the last. Very tasty. X

Ordered form here tonight and I'm very impressed with thier attitude and help towards someone with allergies, they checked everything twice and ensured my meal was nut free, including a call to swap a meal which could possibly contain nuts. Food was delicious and service was amazing! Anyone with allergies, who like me worries about ordering food, order form here as couldn't be more helpful.😊

I was staying in Skinningrove, a couple of miles from Brotton on a Sunday evening with nothing open and no food. I did a google search and found Brotton Tandoori who supply and deliver take-aways. I phoned them and they were very, very helpful. My meal was delivered within twenty minutes, well cooked, hot , tasty and very cheap. The person I spoke to could not have been more polite and helpful and even offered to pick me up a bottle of wine from the next-door shop to bring with him. The landlady of my B&B did not know they existed so I am posting this to help them. I do not know if they have a restaurant as such so perhaps someone else can comment on that. They don't appear to have their own website and one of the restaurant listing pages on the net had them as closed when they were in fact open but they do have an excellent Facebook page listed above and I fully endorse all the positive comments. The only thing is that transactions are strictly cash only, they do not take credit/debit cards. Other than that they are fine and a very valuable resource to a quiet rural area.

Always good food and fast delivery

First visit to this take away. First impression was that it was clean and the staff we're welcoming. The munu is good and the prices are reasonable. We had samosas as a starter very nice. I had a lamb bhuna which was mild and very tasty. Plenty of meat. My partner had lamb balti which was even better. The nana breads were a little fat for me as I like crisper ones. Only improvements would be less ghee in the curry sauce and re- think the raita as not interesting enough. Drop the mango slop as it does nothing to help the meal. I will be going back as we enjoyed the meal
