Ordered a home delivery while on holiday. Firstly surprised it was cash on delivery - had to scrape around between us for enough. Delivery then took forever - despite 2 phone calls to chase it up it took 90 minutes from ordering online. We nearly cancelled (I suppose the one advantage of cash), but glad we didn't as the food was actually excellent. Large portions, lots of chunky vegetables in the rice dishes, rich and tasty curries. All correct and piping hot.

Burnt inedible chips, curry sauce drowing in oil, forgot my ice-cream and didn't follow instructions for no vegetables.

Ordered a delivery while on holiday. Online ordering was easy except no estimated time given - phoned for this and it was spot on. Food was lovely, piping hot and large portions - some had to be kept for the next day. Large choice.

Found this fantastic, friendly, inviting restaurant whilst staying at the Church Farm Haven caravan site. 10 minutes walk from the site, very close to the beach. Staff great made us feel very welcome and server is very funny. Food was great can recommend Chicken Biryani and peshawari chicken. We had a wonderful evening. Thank you so much and our compliments to the chefs.

Tasty food though suspect not freshly cooked. Arrived very quickly. Extensive menu, good sized portions. Waiter was friendly and helpful.

Tasteless food, dirty toilets , lamb biriany full of fat, ignorant staff, flat coke, I could carry on. Used to be good but drastically gone down hill. Do yourself a favour go somewhere else.

We arrived early on a Saturday evening. Service was good, although waiter was unable to tell us about the difference between 2 dishes. Not surprised as despite totally different descriptions they tasted and looked very similar. After we arrived I noticed them put note in window saying card machine not working. Fortunately a Co Op close by had atm inside. It was only Indian Restaurant in Pagham, maybe no competition means they are only average.

Ordered a 'home' delivery while on family holiday. Came in about 30 minutes, piping hot and all correct. Food was delicious with very generous helpings. Only minor criticism was that the garlic naan wasn't very garlicky. Friendly service and delivery. Good value.

Whilst waiting for my takeaway i couldn't fail to notice how lovely the dishes being served looked and smelt. When home i found my choices to be delicious and generous. Excellent value and if i wasn't just a tourist would visit regularly. Very polite staff and clean restaurant. A big thumbs up!

Great Indian restaurant that is less than a 10 minute walk from Church Farm caravan park.Lots of choice on the menu and a lot of dishes that you don’t find on your regular curry house menu.

We had excellent service, lovely tasty curry. Each dish was presented perfectly. My husband said the music was marvellous too. Well done Spice Paradise. We will return.

We ate as a family of four, and had a good meal. Excellent range of food, and even catered for my curry hating little one. Paneer tikka was particularly good. The service was also brilliant.

I had a takeaway from here tonight. The food was piping hot reasonably priced. The chicken chat purée was one of the best I’ve had (and I’ve had quite a few) unfortunately the peshwari naan bread was quite dry and flavourless. The food is 100X better than Amon down the road but unfortunate doesn’t beat cardamom bay in Bognor.

Had a takeaway from Spice Paradise. Was about 20minutes on a Friday night from ordering to collection. Restaurant had a fair amount of people dining in. Staff very friendly sorting out our order. Food was piping hot, we totally forgot to order rice and didn't realise until home - would be great to have a reminder option when ordering. Food was pretty tasty, the garlic naan didn't taste particularly garlic which was a shame.

Had a takeaway from this restaurant, it was delivered piping hot. We ordered 4 different curries and was unsure what to expect. The food was piping hot fresh and tasty , all 4 curries , were as described on the menu. I would definately order from this restaurant again and did 4 days later and can only reiterate how fresh , tasty and hot the food was .

2nd time getting a takeaway from here- the first time was excellent but this 2nd time it’s Very poor tasting bland food- Definitely needs improvement- so disappointed - won’t be back

I really enjoyed my meal here. The lamb tikka starter was tender and delicious. Beautifully cooked chicken biryani, probably the best Indian meal in a restaurant I’ve had in a long time.The staff were very helpful with good safety practices. I look forward to my next visit to this restaurant.

This was our third trip in around 3 or 4 months. We have found on all three occasions that the food is very good value and everything seemed lovely and fresh, chillies and coriander to name but two. The decor is a little tired but the quality of food is my first priority, the chicken was very good unlike some of the watery chicken you find in some restaurants these days. I would have no hesitation in recommending eating here

Used this restaurant while on holiday in the area. Good curry, decent size and all pretty reasonable. Not posh ( the normal “shop style” place). Friendly though, comfortable and good service. Would recommend a visit.

Absolute slop, poor quality food, cheap frozen ingredients. We waited so long for our food we actually thought it was going to be freshly cooked. This meal was a huge disappointment and a waste of time and money.I ordered sag paneer - which is supposed to be cubes of cheese and spinach with cream, coconut and spices. What was actually served was dire. It was made with normal cheese which melted, so was mushy, with no flavour, at all, (no spices were added) a ton of cream and spinach. I only ate a very small amount, because it was so awful. I have never had sag paneer made with normal cheese, I tried it and regretted it - normal cheese in sag paneer is wrong and lazy. I also ordered a side of vegetable curry. What I actually got was a bowl of frozen veg - peas, green beans, carrots in what I can only describe as slop. It looked like soup made with frozen veg. I sent that back and they offered a replacement. I declined.My friend ordered a vegetable shashlic and that was slightly better, because it didn't look like soup and had a bit more flavour. Considering the cost to make with fresh vegetables, it was shocking to see most of ingredients were still obviously from a frozen packet.(No Quorn curry on offer, which most good restaurants now serve for veggie customers).The nan was great, perfect.The rice was ok, hard to get that wrong.My friends had chicken curry and that looked edible, they said it was 'OK', nothing special.The bill for the 4 of us was £70 which was shocking for the quality of food we were served. Complete waste of money and our time and we were all really disappointed.The service was really slow, but the serving staff were really nice.No wonder this restaurant was quiet. Save your money.

We had a really lovely meal, could not fault it, but order a bottle of Pinot white at £15.95 a bottle only to see it came from Tesco which I buy myself appx £5 a bottle, I think this is really out of order, other than that it was great.

Ordered takeaway for collection last Friday..... tikka massala was fine but madras was runny and watery and cold - no excuse for travel as we live across road! Poppodums very stale. Disappointing as we are local but would not order again.

Have used this takeaway a few times over the years. Tonight was one of a few occassions my order (and my mums partner on separate occassions also) has been wrong. A particularly appalling experience when you are a vegetarian and recieve a meat dish instead, the second time tonight. As such I clearly asked for a vegetable peshwari curry on the phone. I drove to collect the order. When I dished this out to myself and partner at home we were disgusted to find out too late after the first mouthful that it was in fact chicken. Already extremely annoyed that I had to interupt our dinner and make another journey to the restaurant. I was further dissapointed to be greeted with small apology and wait for a replacement curry; but no offer of a goodwill gesture refund for the trouble and insensitive mistake. As a customer who may not be regular but has used their business for many years this is not good business, or good business in general.

Best Indian takeaway in PAgham by far . AlwAys order from here great food would recommend . Lovely staff too

It was my first visit to this restaurant. It's quite small, but we weren't cramped. The service was faultless and the food was fabulous. Booked to go back on NYE. Looking forward to it.

Called in for a midweek curry. Friendly & helpful staff, Wasn't sure what to expect from the outside, and the interior looked a little dated, however the food was great. Would call again and would recommend.

Visited Spice Paradise on Saturday 4th August with the family , we were on holiday at Church Farm but decided to go out for dinner , the restaurant was a little dated but the food was outstanding, the staff were very pleasant it was so good we returned the following evening as the food at Church Farm was not great. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

I have yet to eat in at Spice Paradise, but we regularly order from their take-away menu and the quality of the food is exceptional. We have shared meals with guests and they have been equally complimentary of the the range of outstanding dishes and subtle flavours. The food is always delivered hot and the staff are efficient and courteous. Incidentally, ordering on line is recommended as it makes payment easy and gives a discount to the whole order.

was sitting in the restaurant for 2 hours to be served cold flavourless food and when we asked for drinks they took half an hour to give two jugs of water and a beer. They asked children to take the hot plates off of the waiter so we could put them down and they burnt their hands. the waiter got aggresive and raised his voice telling the children “use your cloths”

We tried this twice in the past month. Both times we were disappointed. Very tasteless dishes compared to other Indian meals we have had. Won’t be going back.

I have been in Bognor Regis for 7 Years and have really struggled to find an excellent indian takeaway. Tonight this has been rectified.

While staying at church farm we fancied a curry, ordered on line delivered in time they said, was a lovely curry

went on a tuesday night and was surprised at the interior as it looked just like an ordinary shop from the outside and is in a shopping parade. however interior is clean and tidy well decorated. however food was not as good as i expected....

Have eaten here several times in past couple of years as food is good. Saturday evening was very disappointing as our food took an hour and a half to arrive and then only as we said we were leaving! We were passed it by then...

Slightly disappointed, having had a really good takeaway while on holiday last year, so ordered for delivery this year. Came late, salad was hidden under the food containers and inside fold of carrier so missed them. Poppadums were all broken. Garlic mushrooms were very oily...

Upon visiting this establishment this evening we arrived to a boiling hot restaurant for our 8pm reservation. We were stood whilst the staff faffed and worried about where to seat the four of us as there were two tables of 6 free. We pointed out an empty four seater table and were seated. The restaurant was more or less full but nobody was eating.

Group of six, first time here, ate in. First impression, outside signage is incomplete -someone's nicked the 'p' out 'spice'! Tired and fairly dull inside, piles of leaflet boxes in the foyer area, had a window seat with lots of cobwebs on the wall. Food - ordered a variety of main courses, chicken balti, mixed Balti and tikka, Bombay pots, onion barjees, naans and rices, all were very tasty, good portions and freshly made naans. Not swimming in an oil slick, as was the experience of a previous reviewer. Beer was ok too, draft. Service was nothing to set the place alight, order was taken, food arrived in a reasonable amount of time. Prices were reasonable throughout. Recently awarded a 5 star hygiene rating. Would recommend the food, but the interior could do with a bit of attention.

We visit this restaurant over 100 times a year mainly because of the quality of the food The service could be better especially when the boss is there as he does seem to be more interested in his iPod than serving but the waiter makes up for this and works very hard - as very regular customers we used to always be offered a small drink on the house but this concession sadly no longer happens - we will continue to visit as its the only Indian within walking distance and hope the service improves

This used to be a lovely restaurant and take away, not anymore. It is now dingy and old the carpets have stains on them and the takeaway food last night was so awful we threw it away.

Needed to take a menu to a friends house, but unable to download menu so a non starter which is a shame as the food looks quite nice.

When we visit Pagham it is a custom of ours to eat at Spice Paradice. The service is good and the staff are polite. We have allways been very happy with our meals and on one occasion had a take away that was equally as good. Look forward to next year.

Went there a few times in previous years and we were always happy with the food and the kindness of the staff made the place worth to visit. However on our last visit there with a larger group the staff were very unhelpful, didn't say hello, thank you or even bye on our departure. We spent a large amount of money but did not get the service we expected. Food was nice but the low grade of service ruined the evening for us. I don't think we will dine there again, unfortunately.

Ordered Indian as staying for weekend one of the worst Indian we have ever had! The lamb in the curry was so sparse you couldn't even find it and full of grease and the veg curry was awful !!

I eat here with friends, or get take away at least monthly. Food is consistently good and well priced. I have tried all the others in the west of Bognor and this is the best. Only small criticism - could do with a redecorate inside.

Ordered a take away on hungry house with a 20% discount introductory offer. First annoyance was that they charge £2 to deliver! Anyway, made an order and waited. Arrived in good time but the food was hit and miss. First the good bits....Lovely garlic naan and the star of the show was the spinach dahl which was really good. Everything else was really greasy and awful with the main curries having massive slicks of oil on the top, the likes I have not seen for many years eating out.I will not be returning for a second try.

Food was full of curry powder taste - very expensive drinks - £5 a large coke! Waiter was not helpful - really disappointed as this place used to be good a few years ago - what's happened? Would NOT recommend.

Didn't use the restaurant, so can't comment on service there, but our telephoned order arrived right on time and piping hot.The food was delicious and huge portions - one between 2 of us would have been enough (though glad we didn't do that!). Really shouldn't have ordered the spicy potatoes as well as rice, but they were fabulous.

I wanted to try here as I visit area regularly so really wanted this to be a good place to eat as it would be convenient for me. From outside it didn't look hopeful and looks weren't deceiving. On the plus side the staff were polite and helpful, service was quick (though only one other table was full) and the popadoms and naan were good. The main meals were not- tandoori chicken had an unpleasant taste after a few bits and I'd put money on my balti sauce being out of a can. I had lamb and there was plenty of it but unidentifiable and pretty tasteless. Restaurant needs updating and, looking at the wallpaper next to me which was peeling off, they've either had a flood or they've got a damp problem. I wouldn't recommend it- if you want a decent curry i would try elsewhere. I have had some very pleasant ones in the lamb pub down the road though they do lots of different food and don't specialise. Also it's not Bognor. Pagham is down the road by about 3 miles

Tried to book food on line for delivery as supposed to be open 12..2.00 today. Wasn't open so order declined. Tried again later and opted for collection, this time the order went through. I rang to speak to someone but got only an answerphone message. Eventually got a call to say order would be ready to collect at 1.30. On arrival door sign said Closed. I went in to a man who was vacuuming. When i went to pay i was told a differnent price to the one confirming my order, as it was i only had the exact money with me.When i left i was told he was sorry it was because he arrived late. The food...well never again. The chips were luke warm and the omlettes were like lumps of rubber infact the mushroom one went in the bin. As for the. Tandoori mixed grill my husband felt like he was eating a leftover. Very poor. Will not use this place again EVER!!!!!!!

Excellent food and service, delivered not only to the holiday park but to our caravan. 5 curries with rice, 3 sides, 10 poppadoms and a naan bread. £53. Excellent value

An average Indian meal, out with family, but expected better quality than was given and the food was exceptionally greasy.

Lovely, tasty Indian meal, delivered direct to the nearby caravan park where we were staying at the time. We could not fault the food in any way. I would highly recommend. They do also have a restaurant where you can eat in as well.

Had a takeaway from spice paradise last night omg what a lovely curry it was still piping hot when I got it home all dishes were fantastic recommend the jalfrezi will go back again for sure

With a good menu, friendly staff and range of drinks this is an Indian restaurant not to be missed. The food is freshly cooked, plentiful and well priced. The restaurant is clean and tidy. Well worth a visit.

My partner and I for the second time recently have visited spice paradise. The first time we went to eat in the restaurant and received appuling service and vowed never to return. However decided to give benefit of the doubt and get a takeaway and yet again the customer service was absolutely diabolical we found the staff very rude and arrogant, with the service they provide it's no wonder the restaurant always appears to be empty. Will definitely not be using this restaurant again!

If I didn't know how amazing the food was I might be deterred by its humble appearance, inside it's neat and clean and they have the best chicken tikka I've ever had, I live in San Diego and the fanciest of Indian resturants there don't hold a candle to this place, their naan is super fresh and their potato saag aloo is perfect! This is my #1 place for curries in West Sussex, and in England! YUM

We had a boys golf weekend away in April, there were 5 of us and as part of the weekend we booked a table at the Spice Paradise in Bognor/ Pagham. We turned up 5 mins before our booking which was at 8.15, placed our order for drinks and studied the menu, drinks arrived in reasonable time, we then proceeded to place our order for food, nothing complicated or out of the ordinary, I would say the order went in at 8.30. We waited and waited and waited the food finaly arrived at 9.45 we no apology for the delay, the food was tasty but sadly spoilt by the stunningly long wait. The restaurant was not overly busy in fact there were 4 or 5 tables free (Probably should have taken that as a warning!) Never going there again.

After living in the area for over 8 years have struggled to find a decent curry. Have eaten here a couple of times this has now become my new favourite. Would agree the service isn't especially fast or engaging but adequate. Curry’s are altogether great the Nan bread is very obviously home cooked. You will find the restaurant busy on Friday and Saturday nights which is a good sign of their popularity. Portions are generous but they will gladly box up anything you want to take with you. One both occasions I was undercharged which is a rarity these days; however a left a generous tip to compensate. I wish them the best of luck for the future.

We have eaten here before last year and the food was okay but on this occasion it was bad! It seems they run out of spice as it tasted bland. My partner ordered a spicy hot dish which wasn't spicy and the mixed grill I had was bland and not very nice tasting - lacking in vibrant colour as well. It was a very quiet evening with only two couples so it was anticipated the meal would be good so it was a shame that it wasn't. The service was good and the waiter attentive. It was also a mistake to order a cola as it was warm and out if a bottle probably sitting there all day. It was a big shame that this meal was greatly not nice. I don't think I will rush back!!!!

Went to this restaurant last night, quite busy we thought for a Wednesday. Had a really lovely tasty meal, and lots of it.Very friendly/clean, nice atmosphere. We will go back.

It's not the fanciest of places, and the service is not speedy or particularly engaging, however... they served up some really nice dishes tonight and at a sensible price. If you are happy with the company you bring with you, then you should be in for a good meal here.

Ate here while visiting friends in Pagham.A great variety of dishes organised by degree of hotness. And then further levels of hotness within the mild/medium/hot categories.Poor waiter came to get our order three times and we were so busy chatting that we had to keep asking him to come back in '5 more minutes, please'. Very understanding and patient with us.When we did get ourselves organised to order the food, the food was tasty and of ample quantity. We decided to order three starters and these were a good amount between four adults. Similarly ordering three main courses and some vegetable sides, more than enough with a doggie bag to take away.All in all good value for money, good tasting food, and a tremendous evening out.

Great choice of curries even some I have never heard of.Large portions.They can adapt a curry to your taste,make it even hotter.Take aways are just as good with 10% off.Highly recommend.

Visited as a family (2 boys aged 9 and 6) whilst staying at Church Farm (approx 10 mins walk). Some confusion at the start as the waiter assumed that we had come in to collect a takeaway so did not give us menu's etc. However once he realised his error he apologised profusely and what followed was a lovely meal with good service. The boys were well looked after and we all enjoyed the tasy food!

I visited recently with my friend and was serviced by a fabulous waiter who had a great sense of humour! He even made me a crown to wear out of a serviette! Great food tasty and well presented. Unfortunately the older waiter at the end when dealing with my bill gave me the wrong change which I didn't notice til the next day - done out of £10!!!! Moral to this story!!!! I would recommend the food!!!

I took my fiancé for a meal as a birthday treat as we are owners at the nearby caravan park and fancied doing something 'off site'. I had rung and booked a table a few days before as we wanted to go on a Saturday evening and i had heard it got busy. When we got there and said we had a reservation we were met with a blank expression but luckily it was almost empty (this was at 7pm...by 8pm there we no free tables!). My coke arrived totally flat and when I asked for another the waiter looked very surly and brought another with no apology. The second coke was almost as flat. Our meals arrived very quickly and were delicious. I think my vegetable curry was the nicest I have ever had! My fiancé had a chicken vindaloo and, although nice, was not very spicy. I would definitely use them again but as a takeaway service.

We eat here about twice a year inside the restaurant and get takeaways now and again. I've never had any complaints about the food and there are plenty of vegetarian options. Not the best curry house I've been to but certainly not bad. Much prefer this one to Cardamom Bay in town!
