Wife got ne masala fish today I can honestly say mumtaj masala fish without doubt is 10 times better put mine straight in the bin

I been eating here since long but their quality is getting worse gradually. They I think not bothered to change oil for 2 months. Food felt like little stones inside the food. Don't recommend at all.

Grabbed a takeaway here for my family tonight and it was delicious. This place does their kebab wraps in naan breads, the proper way. The star of the show however was the kiev pizza. I'm a chef myself and I have to admit that their kiev pizza was as good as mine, high praise indeed. Cash only though, make sure to walk to the post office up the road for free cash withdrawls.

The restaurant looks nice from the outside. Shiny, gleaming, good quality signage, attractive and bright. They sell pizza, fish, curries, curried veg with rice or chips, salad and sauce for around £4.50. Some basic pizzas are around at least £9 for 12 inch. They have a bar you can sit at and eat. Reasonably busy at lunchtime and during late afternoons.

Great place to eat spicy fish with naan, loaded fries or wraps.

Best food ever and so cheap so lush would rather have the food then me bird after a night on the drink.

Nice friendly service. I ordered the spice master mixed kebab for me and a chicken wrap for my wife. Both were really nice. First time I’ve been here and I highly recommend it. If you like your kebabs get the mixed one, it doesn't disappoint.

Not always fresh food they give you. They just heat it up and give it to you.

One of my favorite places for fast food really friendly staff as long as I can rember there service has always been good there food is really nice they fairly priced some times the chips dosnt taste as it's ment to its under cooked

My 17 year old son Ordered chicken shashleek and specifically asked for garlic sauce seperate. Person serving decided to pile on the sauce on top while he was standing there despite what he instructed. He said I don’t want it but was confronted by 3 members of staff ganging up on him and threatening him to not be allowed to come back again if he doesn’t pay for it. Since his brother really wanted it he bit the bullet and bought that one and ordered another one for his brother. They bullied my son into purchasing it even thought it was their mistake. His brother doesn't like garlic sauce but he himself does so since they were sharing he asked for garlic sauce seperate. I advised my son to not go there again. The only good thing from them used to be the chicken shashleek and even that is hit and miss, the rest of the food is garbage. How can you mess up chips, almost everytime i bought them they've burnt them so i’ve stopped ordering from them. There’s better takeaways in the area, i would avoid them not just because of the confrontational service but the food is mostly rubbish. I personally prefer the takeaway next door to it, much better food and service.

Best kebabs and pizza by far and always welcoming

As always, the food, staff, and price are excellent. In all the years I've eaten here, I've driven past hundreds of take away to get a master naan. We'll be back at the weekend.

No flaws on anything on their menu, I genuinely think they have the best Doner kebab in the whole of North east and if you ever want to try something different try this because it is not on the menu *hotshot parmo with tomatoe base not white sauce, well done* it is defined as perfection to my taste buds.

Very poor kebab. I got a lamb kebab and there were pieces of dry chicken in it. Overall tasteless.

Chips is very hard can't even eat it. Kids didn't like it. All The chips like in the picture and salad old and smells bad.

Have ordered here before and it’s been good. Unfortunately today wasn’t that great. A few things let it down. The donner kebab and masala fish were good no complaints but the pizza was pretty bad. Especially the dough. The other thing that let it down was the price. I can only assume the menu hasn’t been updated online as the total was supposed to be £19.70 but ended up paying £25 when I arrived! Highly doubt they would’ve charged me £5.30 for sauce tubs (which were half full) and salad. Plus meant to get them anyways with the kebab. Please update your prices online.

Extremely disappointed to receive old and nearly rotten smelly samusas and vegetable pakoras; considering we took it as part of our iftar for the break of fast in the month of ramadan it’s more saddening to see just for the sake of business economy unfresh and non healthy samusas and pakoras being sold on this holy month. Disheartened

Best pizza in Newcastle possibly quite tasty and quick would definitely recommend just don't buy the fried chicken.

Got 9 regular donner wraps which are meant to be £2.50 so that’s £22.50 also one masala fish and chips which sais £5 and I ordered one portion large chips which they forgot which is priced at £1.90 anyway so that totals £29.40 but they charged me £35! Food is nice but they forgot my chips and I believe I got overcharged unfortunately only after I left I looked online on the menu felt it was abit steep.

The masala fish is superbly tasty, and the accompanying red and white sauce complemented the taste. The owners were also really friendly. Will definitely recommend 100%

It was takeway night tonight so we was looking forward to our dinner. The chips were horrendous burned out crumbs literally had to throw all of the box in bin and the pizza we asked for thin base the edges were so fat and the chicken tastes old. What a disappointment

Right. So. Asked if they did a lamb shish kebab. Said yea they do. Was then not given a lamb shish kebab. Given some 3rd rate lamb kofte impression which was tasteless. To sum up: either they do not know what a lamb shish kebab is or they pretend they do. Nor going back here. Salad was ok. Naan bread was decent.

I order a pizza and doner kebab never again the pizza was very cold and very dry was so disappointed I wait 1 hour was cold and very dry pizza even the kebab. Make sure guys u don’t order from this take away

Been coming here for years Farhad and his staff are so friendly welcoming and nothing is an issue. Very busy shop but always a staff member will take your order and acknowledge you if your waiting. Customer service is brilliant. Prices of the food is excellent also. I’ve only had the donner kebab/pizza/chips and lamb curry and all taste amazing and fresh and tasty. I like lots of sauce on my kebab :) and the young lad serving behind the counter always adds extra with a smile on his face. Without doubt the best takeaway on the West Road and Newcastle. I highly recommend this place 👍

The best kebab I have ever eaten, I travel from wallsend to spice master only to get a kebab, worth every mile.for £8 it's that big, you can't eat it all. The fresh curries are amazing, chicken legs in tandoori. You won't be disappointed.

Spice Master is really worth visiting!!! Location is along the West Road; just less a minute walk from West Road -The Plaza bus stop. Accessibility: excellently accessible for ♿️! Services: excellent over the counter service by the Front Desk Chef (if there’s any title like that - 😂)! Eat-in is available here. Also you can order by phone and get it delivered. Kid’s friendly: though not a large outfit but 100 children friendly. Menu: There are countless of menus. I’ve had the masala spicy fried fish and it’s a wow !! Overall: it is 5-star from me for excellent over the counter service, well packed take-out and timelines.

Called in last night when over this way, ordered a large kebab with chilli and Nan. The guy serving added some chips free of charge to the order. The quality of the kebab is the best I’ve had in sometime, the Nan is cooked fresh and the chips are proper cut chips and not the frozen ones 99.9% of other places do. For £5.50 it is a steal, superb value! No wonder it seemed so busy! Would highly recommend here.

Drove all the way from Bradford to try the food here and I'm happy to reveal that it was worth the trip. We ordered the lamb donner, the famous masala fish and also the house special pizza and all the food was finger licking good. Generous portions and lovely service from the brothers working there. Keep up the good work guys.

I came ordered pizza and took less than 5min I surprised how quick it took to be ready, when I got home I can tell the pizza was already ready before I order it and wasn’t tasty as fresh one disappointed. Will not trust ordering from there again.

Banging pizza! First time I've been. Very impressed!

A friend recommended them saying they make the best fish and chips. Well, I called him bluff but he convinced me to try and boy was I hooked!!! I ordered from them consecutively for a whole week afterwards 😂. Absolutely love the fish and chips... I think it's called 'masala fish'. Comes in either individually packed fish, chips, salad and sauce choice or as a pack of fish on chips with the sauce mix spread all over. I prefer the latter as it's tastier IMO. I didn't get the best photo as I had no intention to review at the time but manage this 😊

Very disappointed with our food tonight I got cheeseburger and chips and the chips were disgusting over cooked and lots of scrag ends my partner got a pizza box with a pepperoni pizza, kebab meat and salad with chips the pizza base was soggy and the chips were the same as mine disgusting will not be going there again. Even if it was free!!

Cheap meal and great quality. Kebab meat an chicken tikka were lovely and the naan was beautiful. I will return!!

Great chicken and sauce BUT i have been served twice salad and the salad was served in the plate with the sales person bare hand. After cashing the money for the meal.No hand washing. I am so sorry beacause it has great potential but needs different aproach when it comes to sales and serving. Use gloves and special pliers or tools for serving Please.

If only these guys were HMC certified, i'd love to try their food. So far i only have Fish 'n' Chips, and it tastes lush. Their sauces are probably the best i've had in a while from a takeaway - especially their Sweet-and-Sour and their Mint Sauce.

A friend bought me a curry from this establishment yesterday and I can honestly say it is one of the best curries I have had in a long while.The lamb dish was packed with beautifully tender lean meat and just the right amount of heat. The chapatis were also really fresh and tasty. Highly recommended.
