Brilliant food. Best Indian we’ve found in years.

The curries were pot on especialy the Samba , a lovely coconut one .

Our drink was never delivered. Apart from that as always spot on

food was amazing, they forgot to send our bottle of coke but the driver went back and bought it out to us. we will definitely be ordering again

Never had a problem with here before but it turned up 15 minutes late and was only lukewarm. Such a shame as the flavours are lovely and spices are well balanced.

The food was stunning! The lamb was my favourite! Perfectly cooked! Pilau rice was lovely with all the colours to! All food including breads and sides came hot! Free onion bajis to and 15% percent off! Spent £40 in total for 3 mains 3 rice 3 breads and 1 starter and then got onion bajis and yougurt dip free! it was all amazing! Will be my new place to go now! Plus it was free delivery!!

food was amazing and a little early which was great, friendly driver however i did or poppadoms and mixed pickles got the poppadoms but no mixed pickles shame as was 10/10 for time & food but sometimes things get missed no problem really as the rest was great

When I cut into the chicken it was pink inside, it was not the curry causing it to appear that way as I washed off a couple of pieces to make sure, I ate the rice and curry without the chicken, disappointed

Great little Indian takeaway, all the dishes you might expect done well, as well as a few chefs specials that are sure to surprise and delight even the most discerning pallet. Definitely a go to when we aren't in the mood to cook!

Food has been amazing every time we’ve ordered from here! Slight issue tonight as they forgot the poppadom that was ordered but only a slight oversight. Food was still banging! 😊

First time ordering, absolutely loved the food! Will 100% order again. Really good value for money as well, reasonably priced unlike most Bristol places which I have found to be over priced, this is just right for ordering frequently and really tasty food so thank you!

I'm very satisfied with my food every time I get something from here it's always hot and on point. They know how to mix up the flavours I'll give them 10/10 definitely pop in and order fish tikka, vegetable.rice deal and sag paneer pukka

I absolutely love ordering from this restaurant. Not only are they very professional but their food is always made to a perfection. Always arrives hot and on time, the portions are good sizes and the food it self tastes really good. I have been ordering from this restaurant for two years and never have they disappointed me. Definitely worth trying it you won’t regret it. 5 stars definitely

Really tasty food. Just the right amount of spice and the pilau rice is some of the best we've ever had.

Time: arrived 20 minutes early. Prompt service and delivery driver was super nice. / Food: I ordered popadoms, garlic nan bread, mango chutney, prawn madras and garlic rice. The mango chutney was just a runny sauce (so runny it went down the sink no issues), no mango chunks or taste present. The garlic bread had very little garlic taste and no garlic chunks. The curry and rice however - AMAZING flavour. Garlic chunks present in the rice. The popadoms light and tasty.

Just got around to leaving feedback for ALL orders we have had. Think you’ll see our regular orders. The standard of food is great, so flavoursome and always fresh and hot. Friendly service and will adapt dishes to your level of spice. You must give it a go!!

I ordered and suddenly realised I ordered to collect so called and arranged delivery instead 👍🏻 however the food was less great in fact the chicken was really chewy and it ruined the meal really . Very disappointed ☹️

Only Indian I ever use as normally amazing quality but last night the lamb pathia was really watery and the lamb was like rocks no salad with the order either onion Bhaji was really greasy.

Still waiting.... called the restaurant but after I said can you please tell me where the food is, they said 5 mins and put the phone down on me.... the food is normally ok but the delivery times are not! They offered me a free rice last time they were late but I never got it with the next order plus they were late again. Food is good but service is awful

Good food, very tasty but the onion bhaji was a total let down, cold and chewy. But they were free so no big deal, had I paid for them I'd be gutted though, other than that I would recommend and will be ordering again I'm sure.

Awful experience , the driver , who I doubt has a valid UK driving licence didn't know where I was or where he was come to that so 20 minutes after he'd phoned me asking where I lived he turned up with the cold curry which wasn't that nice either . Will NEVER order from this place again . `

Normally we love it here but this time the food was late with no notice of delivery time changing, when I requested the text restaurant option I received a text to say it was due at 7:10 (25 mins late) and then it showed up at 7:15. I understand it’s a busy Saturday night so am not expecting it to be super fast but would have preferred honest updates and then if the text had said 7:20 and it arrived at 7:15 I would have been pleased instead I was annoyed it had been later than the 2nd time given

The food was 15 mins late. I called the restaurant and they told me the driver was on his way. When it came I had to put it into the microwave to heat it up.

Food arrived cold. Everything tasted nice apart from tikka, it was chewy and funny texture. Smaller portions than I've had before. Shame about the tikka and it being cold as it would of been a lot nicer.

I don’t know what happened on this occasion, but unfortunately the food was very disappointing. The Bhuna had an extreme amount of garlic (and I like garlic, but this was ridiculous), and the chicken was not nice. Such a shame as this was our new favourite Indian takeaway, but now we’ll have to find somewhere else.

I did not receive my mango chutney or onion barji in my set meal order

Order was due to a last minute change of plans but worked out really great. Our food (onion bhajis, chicken pakora, chicken tikka masala, coconut rice, & plain naans) was delicious. Delivery was spot on, turned up when they said they would & they were very polite & friendly. Would recommend & use again.

Lovely food, tender meat and big portions

Ordered butter chicken didn’t have any flavour as it was too sweet taste was like we were eating sugar not butter chicken . It was sugar curry , taste like doughnuts . If anyone ordering butter chicken don’t order dessert cause it already has caramelised sugar in it . Garlic naans were like rubber and was too thick to eat we had to throw them as were not able to chew them . Lastly tandoori chicken didn’t taste like tandoori it was more like boiled chicken . Was not worth of money at all . I don’t have option for zero thats why am putting one .

Friendly staff and great food! We had chicken tikka masala, chicken badhonia, sag aloo, special rice, mushroom rice, garlic naan and peshwari naan. Yum!

Ordered methi lamb and lamb korma. Both were pretty bland and flavourless, unfortunately, and there wasn't enough meat to make up for it. Meat was also a bit tough. Garlic naan was not at all garlicky - don't know whether we just got the wrong thing delivered or if the naan simply isn't good. Not AWFUL, but disappointing and bland

Worst food, no taste . Probably one of the worst experience with restaurants. I can prepare better even if i am not in a mood to cook

Well we found mould on the panear. All the ratas were fizzy. None of the other dishes were fresh. We spent over £40 on takeaway for the family. Everyone was ill. We rang to complain but we're only offered a discount on our next order. NO THANKS!!!

Got a takeaway from here, in early july; order was incorrect, then chap argued with me over the phone and refused to fix order. Eventually got a partial refund, but only after calling back fourth time. Utterly disappointed, ruined whole evening. Some of the menu starter items are written with 'and' but when you call & order they ignore that. Also, very surprised, when went in to collect my order, no facemasks.

Absolutely amazing wonderful experience had an amazing conversation with the employees. Don't get me started on the food once I got home nothing stopped me from ripping through the entire meal so quickly. Astonishing flavours and mouthwatering. Highly recommended.

After trying out all of the local Indian takeaways, we concluded that Spice is the best by far. Delicious meals and good portions. Friendly staff. Our only *slight* downside is that there aren’t as many vegetarian mains as there could be, but the ones that are on the menu are great and it just encourages us to order a bigger variety of side dishes, so we can’t complain too much!

Missed items, chips were stale, 1 family member went without food - takeaway refused to pick up call and we've rang over 25 times. Disgusted.

First time we ordered from here the food was nice just a shame it took an hour on a Tuesday night and the food wasn't hot it was cold/warm hence 2 stars.

Decent curry no issues wasnt hot enough buy time I got it home which was 5 mins away cudnt work out whether the cold weather got to it or it jus wasnt hot enough

I have used this takeaway for a number of years now and the food has always been good. If you are ordering food to be delivered expect to wait up to 90 minutes on Friday and Saturday. But cheaper if you can collect yourself and quicker generally 20 minutes

Mi compañero y yo usamos regularmente Spice como nuestro plato favorito. La comida siempre es de gran calidad y mucha sabor. El restaurante siempre es útil para atender pedidos adicionales: mi novia es vegetariana, por lo que con frecuencia solo quiere pedir salsa Korma para que pueda agregar sus propios trozos de Quorn a la salsa, y siempre lo hacen por nosotros. Muy recomendable

Una vez en la calle en el lugar. utilizando Me apetecía cambiar y queríamos entrega casa! La comida llegó como prometieron 40 minutos después de mi pedido en el teléfono. El Pollo Tikka en los 3 principales campos de nuestra era perfectamente preparada, aún húmeda y suculentos. Las salsas también eran muy bonitas, el dansak tenía un buen sabor y un agradable calor. El korma también estaba bien hecho y ninguno de la comida era nadar en ghee. El único aspecto negativo era la de bhaji leve, un poco grande y un toque de sosa y el Bombay aloo aunque sabroso el spuds eran un poco duras, pero supongo que es sólo cuestión de gusto personal. En general fue una buena experiencia. . . Sin duda volveremos. más

One of the best Indians I've tried in Bristol.

Tarde en la noche del viernes, la comida era realmente buena y sin duda volveré de nuevo. Tuve un pollo al curry, que era muy sabroso.

I remember this place being superb a few years ago and when we suddenly found ourselves thinking of a curry take out we looked it up. Unfortunately, our order was incorrect leaving us with a plain naan and an unwanted vindaloo. Fortunately, the veg dhal was good and I managed to turn the naan into a great pizza base. Would think again before ordering here, or at least check your delivery.

Have been using this takeaway for many years and have never had cause for concern until now. We ordered a month before and standards seemed to be slipping but thought we'd give them another chance but sadly on this occasion the food ordered was late, missing Items, barely warm and tasteless. Despite complaining we received no response from the company despite us being a 'valued' customer for 8 years!! They have no customer loyalty and have lost our custom now.

This is my local Indian the staff are lovely and the food is of a good standard however a few times I had items missing from my order also they tend to get orders wrong which Is not good for people for food allergy's They will cook any items you want and they are very helpful when things go wrong!

I ordered from Spice for myself and a group of friends; not only were we missing a main dish when the food arrived, but what we did have was overcooked chicken and tasteless curry. When I finally got through to someone on the phone to request the remainder of our meal, they assured me it'd arrive within 10 - 15 minutes. 25 minutes later, still no food, and another phonecall, only to say that it 'was just leaving'. I am very disappointed with what seemed to be a well rated takeaway, and will definitely not be using Spice again.
