Wow! we enjoyed a lovely takeaway from here last night and we couldn't fault it. Food was really tasty,cooked to perfection, we had a tikka masala, korma, coconut rice, peshwari nan and chips. Price was great and lovely customer service. We are down here from Hereford on holiday but we certainly will be back. Thankyou

First time using today, we are up in the Clays and usually can't get a delivery and if we do, it's stone cold, not so in this case however. Arrived 2 minutes after est del time and every dish was really hot (not warm, hot) will definitely use again. Very flavoursome Prawn Puri and Sheek Kebab starters. Butter Chicken Murgh Makani Mushroom Rice Bombay Aloo

Tbh I don’t why people rave about this place..i ordered a vindaloo and I’ve had hotter weetabix..the curry was more like gravy than a sauce..and I ordered chips not fries.🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️.don’t think we’ll order from here again but each to their own

Heard a few comments about this place... some positive but a fair amount of negative so thought I'd try them for the first time.... ordered the Butter chicken... coconut rice and Peshwari naan ... it was originally a takeaway order but the chef was a bit backed up with online or telephone and was likely to be around 45 min wait... i enquired about delivery and the lady on the counter said no problem... food arrived 10 mins later than expected but it was piping hot and delicious..... portion sizes although very saucy it was a good size... Definitely gonna use Victoria Indian again

We've been looking for a curry as good as we used to get when we lived in the Midlands. We finally found it tonight. The best Indian food we've tasted since we moved to Cornwall 6 years ago. Excellent.

Amazing! Placed an order on line for delivery then realised we'd forgotten an item, rang them, no hesitation at all and was added to the order, driver struggled to find us but rang straight away to check where we were, food arrived 30 minutes before they had estimated and was perfect, the best, tastiest takeaway we've had in a long, long time! Will definitely recommend and use again.

FOOD POISONING!!!! I had a Lamb Curry and my wife had a chicken curry, tasted ok but nothing special. Woke up an hour after going to bed with a severe stomach pain, ran to the toilet, passed out on the floor, woke up again and made it to the toilet on time thankfully. Had chronic diarrhea which all passed within 24 hours, this all happened the night before my honeymoon. Food was average compared to others in the St Austell area. I have eaten from here before, it was nice then, maybe a change of personel? Lady on the desk was nice

The food is great, the service if you go to the shop is excellent, unfortunately the standard is very lacking if you choose to opt for a delivery. A mistake is always everyone else's fault according to the driver...... as a customer you just want the outcome to be getting what was ordered.

Such an amazing Indian takeaway! I have tried all of them in St Austell and this one is the best. Easy to order online, gets here very fast. All delivery drivers are so lovely and polite. Food tastes absolutely perfect no faults! The flavours are wonderful! Finally found such a great Indian all round. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Have used this takeaway about 6 times already its seems cheaper than all the other Indians in the area. Finally a proper Indian takeaway where you get onion bajhis not just a small one you get 3! I have the vindaloo and to be fair 5 times it has been excellent the other time seemed a tiny bit weak but still nice. Garlic nan could do with more garlic on it but otherwise standard. Mushroom rice superb very tasty. Had a small issue with no mango chutney called them and they delivered within 10 mins even though we had agreed to have it free next time. Poppadoms delicious so overall very very nice my wife is a veggie I refuse to review her food as I won't touch it but she says it's much better than the others around st austell.

First and last try! Love and eat a lot of Indian food and have wanted to try Victoria for a while, it was very disappointing. The papadums were the best bit of the meal, mint sauce was really bland and the saucy onion salad wasn't great. Rice was ok but didn't think much of chicken rezala with bland thin chicken slices and the green chili chicken Tikka was strange, didn't have Tikka taste and was soggy with the chilli mush on it. Very poor compared to other Indians in the St Austell area, shame.

Absolutely banging, really good price plenty of meat in the curries and portion sizes were ideal. Would recommend to everyone best Indian in town! £37 fed the 3 of us with leftovers, spot on

As someone who loves Indian food I was super impressed by this take away. Every dish is unique and delicious! It was a little on the late side but so worth it for the fresh tasting food. Definitely a new favourite.

Amazing curry, freshly cooked on order, don't know what the last customer is on about, don't think he's ever had a curry before, because 8 of us ordered and was brilliant, banging curries, all different flavours, will defo try again

Disappointed, called in to pick up and place smelt of something burnt ,said to guy hope that's not mine and he replied there's always something burning here. Ordered 2 chick madras had about 3mm of oil floating on top of both dishes tasted over cooked had it been fresher it could have been nice . Rice overcooked and had no texture . Nan bread had a funny taste . Veg birhanni over cooked . Side potato dish over cooked . These guys will be Victoria Indian to go down drain if they keep this up.

First time trying, popadams a little dry but main course excellent, requested chicken ticka nagga which they accommodated although not on menu, as we have an Indian takeaway every 5 weeks ish for the last 20 years we will definitely be back as the best we've had for a very long time- thank you

Cannot fault the quality and quantity of the delicious dishes we tried today. This was our first visit and won't ge the last! We have eaten from just about every indian takeaway in St Austell and this place blows them out the water. Try it, you won't be disappointed!

Best Indian takeaway in st Austell, food was super tasty

Terrible Indian meal, we had 5 different meals and every meal was as bad as each other. There was no tikka chicken in the tikka masala. There is no gluten free food. We ordered Nan bread, kimanan and chips, paid for them but they failed to give us these. I’ve eaten many Indian meals from many places, this ranks 1 out of 10 to me. The menu was very limited with lots of dishes and sides not included. The food tasted more warm up meal than fresh cooked.

Tried the majority of other Indian takeaways in St Austell over the years and they all pale in comparison to this place, best curry we've had here with the in laws for years, we all had great food and service was great, waited for a little while on pickup but we were kept updated as other orders came out. The place currently has an older shop front door on it so might be a little nippy in the waiting area on a cold night with draft coming through.

Seen good reviews about this Indian, my partner asked for no onions in starter, it come with onions, the rice tasted like boiled water, the keema naan was disgusting the meat was nasty. I got a chicken tikka masalla the chicken was disgusting the sauce was nice though. Only plus side was it was delivered on time, I wouldn't go back myself

Looking forward to trying this place. Not impressed with any of the Indians in the area. Tandoori chicken starter, chicken madras and chicken dopiaza. Tandoori chicken was smothered in a sickly sweet red sauce with sliced onions. Madras looked lovely, big portion,loads of chicken BUT all I could taste was lemon....shame. The chicken dopiaza was good, big portion like the madras. So 1/3. Will give them another try. Hold the sauce on the tandoori and hold the lemon in the madras. I want this place to work. Love a good "Ruby". So fingers crossed.

Not even worth 1 star but couldn’t give 0. Ordered over the phone at 5.30pm when they opened and was told an hour for delivery. An hour an half later phoned for an update and was told it was just being packed. 2 hours after ordering phoned again and was told it had left 20mins previously. We live within half a mile of the takeaway. 30 mins later still not arrived and phoned again to be told that it was being kept warm and hadn’t left yet- this was at 8pm. Ended up getting a refund- we had a child that was expecting to eat at 6:30pm- and ordering Dominoes which we got in less time than it took to have our order taken at Victoria No Indian To Go

Well.... Trying to find something good to say... Erm..... OK... The lady who took the order was polite......thats the one star..... Can't rate the food as it never arrived... 2&1/2 hours later.... Got a refund...Shame... But there you are.... Domino's got our business.... 🤷

Invited around for a family meal as all wanted to try this new curry house ordered the food at 5.30pm and was told 1hr wait no problem we thought. 1.5hrs later no show so we rang to be told it was being packed for delivery, 2hrs on rang again to be told it is bring kept warm ready for delivery, 2.5 hrs later rang again to fight for a refund which after 10mins of arguing managed to get a refund so disappointed with the overall attitude.

First time trying this establishment delivery service worst I’ve ever experienced 2 & 1/2 hours for delivery when stated 1hour when food arrived missing rice when we phoned about it there response was you can come and collect it not ideal since we ordered delivery as for the food nann bread tiny and food wasn’t the best think I will stay with taj and eastern in future

WOW! They really knocked it out of the park. The competition should be nervous because this place is outstanding! Real, authentic flavours. Great portions. Arrived hot.

3rd takeaway, absolutely delicious. Staff really nice and made keema nan and keema rice which is not on the menu. Very fresh and flavours were just right with a bit of heat. Will be a regular.

Disappointing, We though we would give this new local business a try. However it didn't start well when the website stated it was closed, but I decided to pop down anyway. I was told that there was a 45 minute wait so ordered and went off and returned at the alloted time. Sadly then had wait another 25 minutes for my food. The food was good and bad. much of it wasn't very hot. The onion bhaji was cold and greasy. The chicken in the Korma was very dry and overcooked. On a positive the Lamb Pathia was tasty and tender and the Peshwari Naan was delicious. I am unsure whether I will return for a while

It’s the first meal we have tried here but it won’t be the last. It’s the best Indian meal we have had in the 6 years we have lived in Cornwall. The only little complaint I have is we ordered coconut rice but didn’t receive it. Other than that it was fabulous.

I had a takeaway on Friday, the day it opened. I had a vegetable biryani and my partner and son had chicken tikkas. It was the best Indian I have ever had and I have recommended them to all my friends.

Tried this take away for the first time while we're on holiday, they delivered in good time, I asked if they would do a honey chicken Korma, as they didn't have it on the menu, they made it specially, and asked me to let them know how it was, well is was very nice, one of the best I've had. Well done to you all.

This is a Take Away and not a Restaurant. No doubt the recent change of ownership has enhanced the cooking of the food. The new Menu is also exciting. Had a takeaway meal this evening. The starter: seek kebab, a good portion and very tasty. Plenty of salad & yoghurt to accompany it. Main Course: Chicken Korai - again a generous portion and delicious with well balanced spices. Will definitely visit again.

We ordered a takeaway whilst staying in a cabin at the Meadow Lakes holiday park. We are from Bristol and have very high expectations when it comes to curry! Delivery took a while (over an hour) but was close to the specified time. All of our food was delicious, and we even received a free curry and poppadoms. Being vegan it was very helpful to see all the allergens listed next to each dish. Thank you for a delicious birthday meal :)

We always use spice. And usually it's good. But today was delicious. There was enough to save some for lunch tomorrow. Bonus!

We were really impressed with the quality of the three different curries we ordered - very tasty indeed! The food was also ready really quickly and the service was excellent. Would definitely order from this place again.

It was all over cooked, black and crunchy. Very oily and missed drinks off our order. Took over an hour and a half to get food. Not impressed

Been using spice for years and it's been beautiful everytime, however today I ordered my usual after not having a takeaway for a while and the food tasted awful, the recipe has changed for the worse, upon trying to get a fresh batch another awful batch was sent out along with the wrong rice I previously ordered! New owners or something? Will not be going again unfortunately.

Awful - 40mins after the time stated my order would arrive it still hadn't. So I called them to find out where it was - to be told that they didn't have an order for me!! On my app it was saying that it was already delivered and paid for in cash - it hadn't!!! So I told him to forget it - ordered from the Taj instead, never have a problem there!!

Order was late - said delivered on just eat - so called restaurant they explained they were exceptionally busy and do not control just eat marking it as delivered online. They apologised and included a number of free dishes I was not expecting this really good service and great quality food as usual. Thanks.
