Shockingly bad, they even miss out on important main ingredients within your order. Non polite staff, please give it a miss.

We order from Green Chilli regularly and we have been customers for years. Tonight we were told an hour and we waited 2hrs which is pretty much what happens everytime we order as they seem to forget about us. We know this as we ring up to ask where our food is to get it delivered 10/15 mins later but this time something was missing from the order. Tried ringing through and we can't get an answer. Over it now paid 72 quid to wait 2hrs to not have our full order. It's a shame because it's nice food but we won't be ordering again will go to a more reliable Indian.

I ordered a Biriyani and what I got is chicken curry mixed in with rice ! They know what they gave is not a Biriyani! I would not recommend this place or ever return!

Not at all Good Taste, please don't go with this restaurant unless you have recommendation from your friends 1. We ordered Dal tarka which was pure with no masala tadka in it just plain dal and rice quality was not good either 2. Neither the Chilly Garlic Panner curry was good in Taste, Nor the Garlic Naan

Pathetic food , wont even call it Indian food , they are destroying the reputation of Indian food using same curry for all kind of vegetarian dishes , and who the hell puts cabbage in a biryani , salt less food , i had to throw the food in a bin please dont take any food from here

Worst Biriyani in my life ( flavourless + tasteless )I’m still figuring out what is this ? Tandoori plater is tasteless and sweet . Never will recommend this restaurant. You guys spoiled our holiday dinner . I never have such reviews i my life to any restaurant.

Been coming here for takeaway Indian for many years. Had a wonderful meal from here last night. Even better than before! Service is friendly and fast. Food is excellent. The new/old chef is surpassing himself! Would highly recommend this takeaway to locals and visitors alike. You won’t get better than this!

I had a very tasty takeaway from here in February. I had the chicken balti (the chef said he specialised in this dish) which had a good level of spice and flavour. It came with a tasty naan bread as well. The chicken was big chunks and not overcooked. Nothing worse than dry chicken. I also had aloo gobi which was equally tasty. Often when you visit seaside/tourist towns the pricing is higher than other areas of the UK. It was nice to see that the menu was fairly priced. I was even offered poppadom, salad and mint sauce to have with the meal. With this combination of quality and fair pricing this takeaway will be in business for many years and it will be very successful. When I'm in Newquay again I will order a takeaway from here again!

awful!!! waited two hours for our order. the staff led and fobbed me off and said they would re cook the food and send it personally-never happened. they sent the driver to wrong address which they didn't take accountability for. they were supposed to refund me one of the curries due to the lateness and ended up charging me instead of a refund! I had to chase and chase for a resolution and was offered a poxy pointless refund and a little bit of paper claiming £10 off next order. had no name on it, no signature to show verification- nothing. very poor customer service, Cold, stale and late food. 100% never going back there again and will be sharing my experiences on social media. terrible

Usually a fantastic Indian takeaway but this time all the food arrived cold. The butter chicken did not taste as it usually does the onoin bhaji’s were burnt and the nann bread was soggy. Sadly wont be ordering again.

Ordered the curry for my husbands birthday was told an hour wait for the delivery. After 2 hours and calling twice to check where it was it finally turned up and the delivery driver said it hadn’t been paid for even though I was told on the phone the payment went through and when I called twice to check no one mentioned there was an issue with the payment. The driver then wouldn’t pass over the curry which we had waited 2 hours for and said we had to phone the shop to pay. I then called again and the person on the phone just said It’s on its way and didn’t even listen and then couldn’t understand what I was saying about the payment. We then had to hand the curry back and ended up with no dinner. This is so disappointing as we’ve used green chill for years and never had an issue but we will never be using them again in the future.

We always use the green chillie the food is always superb staff are great and very honest we had our order delivered and paid the delivery driver and said thanks 2 minutes later there was a knock at the door it was Dave the delivery driver returning £20 which we had paid him to to much very honest of him which is a rarity in this day and age big thumbs up to the green chillie and Dave keep up the good work can't fault you 👌👍

The food at green chilli is absolutely amazing. Newquay has become a holiday spot for me and my friends and every single time we come we Atleast get food from green chilli twice. The flavours are delicious, the quality is amazing and the customer service is brilliant regardless of how busy they are. My friend is a very picky eater but absolutely LOVES every single dish we get at green chilli. Definitely the best Indian takeaway I have had!!!!

Very bad food. We ordered 2 children biriyabmni and one chicken tikka. What they gave us not a Biriyani, it was rice and chicken mixed with turmeric powder. Worst Biriyani in my life. If their chef don't know how to make food they should stop this business. It's very bad food in my whole life. They are not deserved to operate a restaurant.

Ordered from here recently to be delivered to campsite, we had a large order for 3 families, excellent service, spot on delivery time. Prices per the menu (which not normally the case at home) 3 separate bags, 1 per family which was very helpful so no confusion over who's was who's, not a thing missing which is a rarity! Food piping hot and delicious, all in all would deffo use again as not a single complaint out of 10 people, we did ask for a discount as such a large order and we would have got one at home but they wouldn't budge but did add some free poppadoms and sauce.

Not impressed at all. First the advertised 15% online discount will not work, so went straight to the restaurant, but they will not honour it, insisting it to be done online, which interestingly we managed to do online whilst on the premises. After ordering and paying, we too late realised that the floor in the waiting area was wet and had loose floorboard and what looked like fresh saliva on the floor which was very off putting so we left whilst the food was being prepared. On collection they tried to charge extra for Naan breads we did not order - saying we had telephoned (when we ordered online in the shop), which is unacceptable. When we then got the food home, this turned out terrible. We ordered egg fried rice and got charged extra for this, but received plain rice instead. The various curries were literally mainly sauce each with 4-5 small pieces of meat, which is a rip-off. Flavour was seriously lacking and not one of the meal was enjoyed or completed, with everyone feeling nauseous afterwards. Tried calling Green Chilli Takeaway straight away to report all of this, but couldn't get through. Cannot recommend at all and definitely won't use again.

Had first Take Away from Green Chilli tonight. Delivered on time and a truly delicious meal. So really tasty!! Will certainly be using again.

Good choice if looking for value for money. My order was lamb biryani. Rice was good quality and brilliantly cooked. Lamb tender and that was served with vegetable curry which had all fresh veg in it. Actually it was not an authentic biryani but very tasty. I can recommend this place and the portion was more than enough. I would say all in all above many other take away restaurants.

Getting more hopeless by the order. Have stayed loyal for years but the quality of food is spiralling toward the pits and not worth the money. Delivery time’s absolutely awful. No longer can the Indian restaurant live up to high quality, tasty food and to top it off the service is rubbish. We have now decided we’ll use another Indian restaurant closer to home and hopefully with tasty, less water based sauces.

Very friendly and welcoming staff, super clean waiting area. Food is very nice, but expensive. Almost £20 for a takeaway meal for 1!!! Beware, they do not serve alcohol, 'nor are you allowed to buy from the shop next door and drink on the premises. Otherwise 5*.

Me and my partner have holidayed in Newquay on and off for a number of years now. Each time we visit we always make sure that at least one of our meals is from Green Chilli. The food never disappoints and the prices are much more favourable than some of the other Indian curry places. We’re just back from Newquay now and Saturday evening we placed an order and asked that it be delivered at a later time that night. The food was delivered, on time and piping hot. As always the food was delicious. I can highly recommend Green Chilli and must say, I can’t see us ordering Indian curry from anywhere else in Newquay.

I recently used Green Chilli to cater for my sisters 40th birthday party and the food was perfect. My family have eaten Green chilli takeaway for approximately 22 years and they are always amazing, food had always been consistently good and their service is spot on. My sister loves Green chilli, so I approached Ali to enquire if they would provide Indian snacks and dips for her surprise 40th birthday party with 80 guests. I had no idea where to start, but Ali had some great suggestions and even organised a tasting session on the lead up to the party to make sure that everything was satisfactory! It honestly exceeded that! We arranged for the food to arrive just as the guests were arriving and it was all displayed perfectly and stayed warm. Everyone complimented the food, even our vegan guests were ecstatic that they were able to eat the samosas and bahji’s. The food was eaten so quickly my only regret is we should have got more! We would highly recommend using Green chilli to cater for a party, the price was great, the service was amazing and the food was delicious. I wish I had taken a photo now to post on here. My favourite place for a indian takeaway. Had loads of orders from them over the time (I've tried others but always return to Green Chilli). Only once had a minor issue that was rectified very quickly (ages ago, a missing rice). Very easy to place a order. Food always arrives on time,if not early. Delivery drivers friendly. Food is always hot and delicious. The tandoori chicken is absolutely divine.

I have been coming to cornwall for the last 14 years and we were stuck for food this evening and gave green chilli a go - wow!! Ordering was easy, the food was the best I have tasted from an Indian, lovely flavours, arrived hot (staying in Crantock) delivered with a smile. Absolutely fabulous. Give it a go. You won’t be disappointed

Green Chilli delivers to Padstow & is always really tasty. We've been using the takeaway service for a couple of years & always enjoy the meals. Great that it delivers this far! So appreciate it =)

Horrid! Ordered & collected tonight while on holiday, got back to site and 1 of the 2 currys were the wrong one to what we ordered and the lamb in other was hard, its never seen a lamb khari that!! Was minging. Mint sauce bright green didnt eat! Rice and chips ok but won't use again on our visits. Sent us chicken tikka masala, we ordered chicken dopiaza, got a bright red runny CTM. Ate what we could basically as was late and hungry.

My absolute favourite for takeout or delivery, have used them for around fifteen years and have found them consistently good. Anywhere else feels like a letdown by comparison.

Ordered a takeaway a couple of days ago and I have to say it was superb! We are staying at Piran Meadows and they delivered it straight to our lodge. Food was hot and really tasty. Plenty of it too! The meats were super tender.... Probably one of the nicest Indian takeaways I've had! I would 100% order from here again....

We preordered a large order for our holiday home whilst staying at watergate bay. Communication throughout was brilliant. The curry arrived perfectly on time, was lovely and warm and some of the best dishes we’ve ever had! Couldn’t fault at all. Highly recommend this to anyone in the area… don’t be put off by the other reviews… we had an amazing experience from start to finish.

We were staying at a holiday house for a special birthday so preordered our takeaway ready to be delivered on the required night/time … great communication from start to finish .. the order arrived exactly on time .. it was quite a large order but was all correct and the food was all really hot and lovely .. would highly recommend ..many thanks green chilli !!!

I've used green chilli for a while now they do really good food it's the customer service which let's them down. I've just been informed I'm I'm liar which is always a good start to an order. I was told I've never paid online for delivery takeaway with them but during the lock down I have the bank statement to prove I did even tho told they've never ever taken payment online! WOW and FYI telephone manner is just as important as in person you ignorant man! I work in Newquay for 3 months a year and stay at the same place and use the same takeaways, green chilli is no longer on that list unfortunately! I can't wrong the food at all I feel for the chefs

DON’T BOTHER WITH THIS SO CALLED ‘TAKEWAY’ - ABSOLUTELY AWFUL!!! WOULD SCORE MINUS 10 OUT OF 10!!! There are many other takeaways in the area or nearby. TRY any of them! This ‘takeaway’ does not value or look after locals at all. Phone ringing and ringing with no one answering. Took multiple attempts until we could get through. Shocking customer service and phone manner. Home delivery is a joke!! Seems you need to live in Newquay within 0.5 mile radius of the premise to get a delivery- whats the point in offering it?! A business operating in cornwall needs to be realistic if they offer delivery as its rural round here! Collected in the end BUT never will again. Could cook a better curry at home! WILL NOT BE ORDERING HERE EVER AGAIN !!!!

After using you at least once a month through the year. Really disappointed that once the season started I have now waited 1 hour and 45 mins and my order still hadn’t arrived. Will be using another take away from now on.

Order a takeaway Friday 13th August, told an hour wait, they were asked to call us 5 minutes before arriving onsite , we were stood at the entrance of the campsite for nearly 20 minutes, not once did we see a Toyota car come past. We walked around to the shop were we saw a Toyota car, he was on the phone to somebody, he saw us and said to the person on the phone, "must be this retarded lady walking towards me now", when challenged with, "no need to be so rude" he starting saying, "he'd been sat there over 20 minutes and we'd been dicking him around and he said he rang us 3 times" he didn't like the fact he was challenged for being rude, he drove off with our food. Once returning to were we were staying onsite, he'd only rang our number 2 twice, we decided to ring back Green chilli and speak to the manger, upon request he said "what do you want me to do about it?" We ended the call and we were very disappointed and disgusted with the level of rudeness from this delivery driver and the manager being unbothered about how one of his members of staff spoke to a paying customer, we wouldn't recommend this Indian to anyone.

Absolutely shocking the portions were very small hardly no meet came cold poperdoms were all broke up in bag the sauce all split in the bag definitely not worth the money very disappointed......I think in the future I will stick to maharaja there the best 👌

After being told by Zamans( our usual takeaway) that there's a 2hour lead time for delivery we thought we'd try Green chilli,,, Told it would be an hour, after several calls we received 1hour 45 minutes later just to be disappointed with it, food was below average and merely tepid, as it was very late re-ordering wasn't an option, tasted as it was straight out of an asda stir in sauce jar, rubbery sweaty naan breads even the popadoms were flexible need i go on, avoid wasting your money like i did

I had just wasted £20 for a bowl of ketchup and curry mixture with some pieces of lamb, this place is a complete mess, at first i ordered two portions of lamb curry, naan bread and some salad, they handover one portion of lamb curry which literally iced cold with naans, I called back and inquire about my order that why one portion is missing, instead rectify their mistake, without an apology they said you been charged for one curry only, I said £20 for one lamb curry, they replied naan bread is £2.80 each! I was completely shocked about their service and attitude! Highly disappointed, it’s an absolute waste of money visiting such a place!

Lamb Bombay Curry and Nan Bread with garlic, all was good, tasty and a generous portion. Fast and polite service, will use again next time we are here.

Myself and my partner had a take away from here tonight and it was beautiful! Totally worth the wait for delivery! I enjoyed a Chicken Tikka Masala and my partner had a Chicken Bhuna, both brilliant and full of flavour! Very happy with this.

We ordered on the phone and picked it up as arranged. We had a mixed tandoori starter and then a chicken biriyani between us which proved to be plenty. Good variety in the starter and the biriyani was good with plenty of chicken.

Good value for money, the food was very tasty and if you want more spice just add a chilli pickle pot to your order. I got a green chilli special biryani (I love that they put an omelette with it, egg and biryani is the best. To me, atleast) and vegetable curry. Very big portions I could have had one or the other and have been full. It's not the same as how my mum makes it at home but still decent and worth a try for anyone in the area, who wants good halal food.

Had starters, highly recommend Koshi Fry. Chicken Jalfreizi and dupiaza, with rice, chips, bombay potatoes, naan. All good, very tasty, the right heat and no excessive oil. Lovely....
