Spice Hut Express in Ipswich

Had a delivery tonight . Over 1 hour late food came and was tastless. Useless gone down the pan since it was taken over.

Their food is very tasty.. .having said that, 90% of the time they forget something, but they quickly send it round. I personally would never order lamb again from them (have done that twice and it was more like tough mutton, stick to chicken). It IS generally good but their attention to detail is poor, in fairness when they get it right (which does happen sometimes) it's hard to beat in this area. They are also very decent nice people, if they slightly upped their game they would be hard to beat

I’m not keen on lamb or chicken so I can’t comment on those dishes. Best prawn dishes out of the 100 or so I’ve tried over the years. I love a king prawn madras but 99%of restaurants and takeaways don’t clean the prawns properly... always leave a bit of shell, or a leg or 2 and often still parts of head have been left on.... disgusting! I’ve now had 4 or 5 King Prawn madras’s in the last 4 weeks or so and they have been absolutely outstanding, to the point of me wanting one every night. Seriously if you’re a king prawn lover you won’t get better prawns than the Spice Hut.

Our third order from spice hut, excellent, prompt service, very tasty food at an exceptional price, we were recommended by family.

Ate here shortly after renamed from Cinnamon to Spice Hut. First curry visit was excellent. So pleased after Cinnamon went downhill. Three visits after that were awful. Back to Cinnamon brown slop where all the dishes look and taste the same.
