Decided to visit the Spice Corner for a meal with friends tonight, booked in for 6.30pm although we didn't need to book really, lovely friendly greeting from the cheerful staff, superb choice of meals on the main menu and a really good set meal Tuesday and Wednesday offer of three courses for £10.95. Went for the main menu as we had not been before and it looked very interesting. Well, the food was superb, from the super warm crisp popodums, the onion bahji starter and the special curry (for me) it was superb, so tasty and piping hot and fresh and..as a bonus huge portions lol. Well done guys we will be back quite soon, I can recommend the Spice Corner whole heartedly.

Don't go expecting tablecloths, fancy décor and soft lighting, this is a 'you get what you see restaurant', although it is nicely presented. If you want to drink alcohol then bring your own, or, there is also a small supermarket across the road to purchase some if you want. The restaurant will happily provide glasses for you.Very pleasant experience with a warm welcome, efficient and non-intrusive staff, relaxing background music and delicious food. One of the few places I've almost cleared my plate of a meal that you just want to go on eating because of the flavours. Plenty of time to eat and there is no pushing you out the door. Will look forward to our next visit.

So for a change we decided to eat here after an evening out. Surprised by his early the restaurant closes (11pm). We booked ahead and it was very quiet for a Saturday night. The restaurant was clean and tidy. Good food and quick service.

Wonderful little restaurant, the staff are so warm and friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. I had the Tawa (spelling?) Lamb and it came sizzling to the table, packed with big chunks of meat, peppers and onion. Generous portion too. The decor is not particularly fancy but don't let that deter you. Wonderful little gem.

Had a pretty Xmas meal here with my Family!Despite my title, I can only report for Indian food there was no oomph in the meal! The shami kebab starter was bland as was the keema nan!The lamb bhuna was ok as we're the other main meals. It was very expensive for a restaurant that does not serve alcohol; nearly £85 for four of us!Won't be rushing back from Swansea very soon and for a Valley's restaurant I found it had City prices!

Lovely meal with really nice staff. Very reasonably priced, especially as you take your own alcohol. The food was absolutely fantastic and all 3 of us enjoyed our different selections.. I will definitely visit again - thank you Spice Corner

We have just finished eating at the Spice Corner and was pleasantly surprised. The food was incredibly tasty and full of fresh indian flavours. Staff we're very respectful, friendly and organised. The food was at a good pricing for the variety available. I would definitely recommend visiting here :)

My partner and I went here for dinner and were pleasantly surprised at the quality of food. The head server was very helpful in talking me through their vegan options and dishes that could be made vegan before I ordered, and he checked up on our meals without being over-bearing! The vegetable biryani was delicious and my partner enjoyed his chicken dish (can’t remember the name!). It’s BYOB so the meal ended up under £25 for us both which was ideal.I had called ahead to let the restaurant know I was vegan, and had to speak to two separate staff member before getting information, but the first staff member was new so forgivable! We will definitely be returning or getting a takeaway in the near future.

Havnt been here for over thirty years when it was called the Gulshan. Food was really tasty and staff friendly, they do not have a license to serve alcohol but we took our own wine. Good selection to choose from will definately return.

It was just a lovely meal in comfort & warmth. It was clean & roomy considering it was a small place. No alcohol but you can take it in there if you wish. The service was friendly & they provided me a reshmi kebab although not on the menu. Lovely evening there. 2 cokes, 4 poppadums,2 starters, 2 mains & sides, chapati & naan came to £41. If there was a down side it was that the tables had no tablecloths & napkins were paper. No need to say any more.

I was a little unsure about this place when it first opened, as I had been going to the Gulshan all my life, and not a big fan of change. However it was worth it. The owners have breathed new life into the place, given it a lick of paint, and provided us with a great Curry house. Could suggest some curries but I'd be here all day, however every visit must always start with some Tandoori chicken! :D Great customer service, the staff are friendly and attentive, and I always love the after dinner chocolate!

Eaten here a few times lately. The restaurant is clean/comfortable. Parking is a few yards away behind Bradley's Coffee Shop. The menu is extensive with each meal tasting different/individual so when the menu describes the meal as hot or fairly hot & spicy it's an honest/accurate description. I really like the fact they don't have an alcohol license (ATM) as you can take your own favorite tipple with wine glasses provided - and no corkage fees. Iv seen other cracking open cans of Stella, no glasses required! The staff are very good in all respects... portions are large, food always piping hot, even when delivered for a takeaway. You gotta eat here....
