Indiah is such a relaxing and good value place to eat. The staff are always so welcoming and attentive. The food is always served piping hot such delicious authentic Indian cuisine. Would certainly recommend. Another enjoyable visit. Will visit again very soon.

Food and staff very good but the mens toilet let the l.place down,I've never been in such a dirty toilet Come on guys use some of your profits to do a full make over soon as possible let's your premises down big style.

Went tonight while visiting wales for work, the staff are pleasant. The restaurant had an offer on so we took advantage. The food wasnt bad but it wasnt great either. I had a jalfrezi and my friend had a balti with rice etc. The tandori mixed had barely any flavour. The curries were ok but not much of a punch. We wouldnt return although the food is cheap its not enough to attract us back.

We haven't been here for a number of years and were truly surprised with the quality of the food when we recently visited. It seems to have returned to how it used to be pre-pandemic, I'm glad to say! We booked a table for a Saturday evening and was glad we did as the restaurant was heaving when we arrived around 7pm. The food was delicious, and the service was courteous, professional, and friendly. It's good to see a local restaurant prosper...which only happens when great food, great service and a great atmosphere are all present. Let's hope Indiaah maintains this standard. We'll definitely be visiting again.

Excellent food - super reasonable deal sunday-wednesday - poppadom and chutneys, any starter, any rice, any main and any naan for £12.50 takeaway or £14.50 eat in. Great atmosphere. Makhani chicken madras hot was delicious. Good portion sizes too and speedy service.

Absolutely lovely restaurant. We had a lovely welcome and the food was excellent. Brought some home in take-away containers as the portions were very good. Everything was cooked fresh and tasted amazing. Highly recommend an evening out there. Prices were good too. Thank you so much, Jackie

Lovely food as always , Just a pity the waiter was so rude . After we asked him where our wine was slammed the wine on table no glasses. Chowdry would never have treated us like this. The sad part is the food is amazing and one person let us down

I last reviewed Indiaah in Aug 2022. The food was poor, the food hygiene rating was poor and I didn’t order again, until today. A year on, the difference is amazing. I am pleased to say that Indiaah seems to be back to what it once was, delivering excellent, hot Indian food. I placed a telephone order for the ‘Sunday Special’. I was told it would be an hour and 20 minutes as the restaurant was busy…a good sign! Within the advised time, my food arrived. It was excellent! Piping hot, food containers packed full. The poppadoms were crunchy, the mixed starter was tasty and plentiful, the chicken tikka shatkora was packed with chicken and beautifully spiced. The garlic rice was delicious and the keema naan fluffy and filled with lamb. Overall, the meal was excellent. Oh, and the food hygiene rating is back up to 4. Will be ordering again. Well done Indiaah. Back in the game!

We have been enjoying Mr Chowdry 's hospitality since the early 90's. I can honestly say we have never had a bad meal in all that time. We would highly recommend the Indiaah for all occasions, whether it is a quiet meal for two or a large family celebration.

I have been a customer for many years and I have never been disappointed. The decor has changed since Covid and it is lovely to see all the tablecloths and tableware out. The staff are very accommodating and the food is tasty, they have a specials menu Sun-Tues which is very good value and the table service very efficient. The takeaway service is always good too. Lovely to see Mr Chowdhury welcoming his customers as always.

Haven’t been for a sit down meal since before Covid. Had a few takeaways that have been ok but avoided for a while due to low hygiene rating. Decided to try again now that the hygiene rating has improved and we were very impressed! We had the mid week meal deal which is fantastic value! Food was fresh, tasty and hot, couldn’t fault it! Staff were friendly too. Glad to see that it’s back to its original standard! Will definitely be visiting again soon!

The best vindaloo I've had in a while. I have recently moved to llanharry area and my go to takeaway is Indian food. My favourite dish is a classic vindaloo and I must say this ticks all the boxes. It's hot but wow some added flavours and spices too. Delicious. My partner had his favourite also and was superb! Delivery on point and customer service very good and pleasant. Thank you.

My partner and I travelled from Shropshire to take my mum for a belated Xmas treat of supper at Indiaah. She and I have visited many times in the past but not since COVID lockdown. She was so looking forward to it but unfortunately it is not what we were expecting and we were extremely disappointed. We had booked for 6.30pm but were kept waiting until 6.45pm in spite of there being only 3 tables occupied. Gone are the tablecloths and cared for interior. There was no heating except a single portable calor gas heater in the middle of the room. In hindsight I think they kept us waiting so we could have a table nearer the heater when the occupiers left! A little into the meal we had to politely ask if the horrendous rap music coming from a small transistor radio could be changed to something more fitting for a restaurant. The station was changed to another Indian radio channel of mainly talking. The staff were obliging and polite and the food was pleasant. Unfortunately the dishes went cold very quickly as the candle burners were insufficient to combat the low room temperature. Towards the end of the meal we resorted to putting our coats on! The price is fair had the ambience been more acceptable. I do hope Indiahh can survive and regain their stance locally as on leaving I noticed at least two other Indian restaurants within a stone's throw that looked far more inviting., stylish....and warm .....

One of the best food experiences I've had.. super tasty, full of colours and flavours! The presentation and the attention of the detail was delightful. All the staff were impeccable and hospitable. The VEGAN OPTIONS were super even if meant changing something to the ordinary meal to make it vegan for you.. very kind of the chefs and the kitchen! Food over the moon.. best restaurant of the area and a great place to be in company with friends and family 🔝🙌🤩🇮🇹

It was an evening out with a group of friends. When it arrived the food was perfectly ok,, however the table was booked for 6.00pm, They clearly priorities take away over sit in customers we were not served for an hour. Even ordering drinks at the bar a small order of only two drinks I had to wait. One drink was placed on the counter, and a take away customer then took precedence. Unless you want a take away don't bother. Restaurants customers take second place.

Very poor, firstly couldn't get the address right took 3 attempts in the mean time was delivered to another address and then after ringing again still didn't get the address right! Took 2 hours to receive freezing cold food.

The food today was stone cold waited over a hour and a half they tried to deliver to wrong address and when I called them a hour and 20 mins after ordering he then asks for the address again so in the time they delivered to wrong address they left the food sitting to get cold never again will I go to them again

Food wasn't the best shaslik was just chicken and onions, no peppers at all which would be a meal in itself if done properly! The English chicken and chips was frozen chicken bites not even fresh chicken,

I wouldn’t bother… Long wait for food, lemonade was flat. Chicken was dry and the rogan josh was bland. Probably the worst customer service I have had, the waiter was very rude, and clearly didn’t want to be there! Table wasn’t cleaned and nobody asked how food was!!! Had better microwave meals!!

So disappointed. Haven’t been here since before lockdown and can’t believe how downhill it’s become. It’s now a 2 star hygiene rating. Staff not very polite and they got our order wrong. I came home with our takeaway and the wrong rice. The bajis were tasty but the rest of the meal Was bland. Our curries were oily and the rice really bland. Don’t think we will return for another long while which is a shame.

Very, very average. Service was 5/10. Waiter was very disinterested in good customer service. Not rude just distracted which was probably because they had a large group of young men in who were completely drunk and extremely loud. The food was what I would describe as a lazy attempt to produce Asian cousine. Spicy but not very favourable or attractive. It was however extremely cheap so we got what we paid for I suppose. This restaurant certainly would not cut it in my part of the country. Total experience I would say was, did what it said on the can... cheap curry and beer! There are probably better options but you may have to drive a little further.

I would like to start by the cleanliness of your toilets. THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY APPALING. Your toilets are used by a lot of people and should be cleaned every day!!!! If your toilets are like this infront view of the public, what is your kitchen like.??? !!!!!! The condition of the whole place is awful, grubby, dirty and tv units used as coffee tables, it's quite obvious this place is run by men only.!! I thought the staff where very rude and it felt like we where just a nuisance. The menu is very out dated, cheap wine and warm soft drinks for the children. Not good quality food at all, I would never visit again purely based on the toilets. YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES

Food took 2 hours to arrive after we ordered over the phone for delivery. The (rude and unhelpful) gentleman on the phone from the restaurant asked me for a contact number in case the driver had any issues when they arrived, so I provided one. When the driver arrived, they proceeded to call an alternative number which meant we didn't receive the call. 30 minutes later another attempt was made to deliver the food, with 10 minutes of navigation with the driver on the phone (not ideal as this was the first time I've ever been to this area, being from over 100 miles North). Digging into the food, starving at this point; poppadoms were stale, naan was freezing, chips not worth a sod, both curries were still lukewarm but very bland and tasteless, lacking the flavours expected. Really poor and definitely spoilt the first night of our Welsh break. P.S. if the gentleman answering the phone at the restaurant on 25/5/22 reads this review, remember to mute the phone call when you wish to discuss paying customers in a derogatory manner to your colleagues.

Slow service, waited just over 2 hours for food, older man bringing the food out was very rude and blunt, after the 2 hour wait for the food it was probably the blandest tasting curry I’ve ever been for, was not nice tasting at all and the curry cooked with ingredients not normally involved the the curry’s from other places, just not a good experience in general, and missing items from the order but still tried to charge for them. definitely would never go back an

Had a booking of 12 here at 6.30 for a Birthday gathering. The restaurant was reasonably busy for a Tuesday but they do offer a meal deal of a starter, main, rice and naan bread for 12.95, I believe? We were sat at the back of the restaurant which was fine as we were a large table. Unfortunately the service we received was not very good. Missed starter and main for the vegetarian guest, (it was his 71st birthday too) his naan bread was also served on top of a keema naan! We cleared most the table ourselves as empty glasses and side plates were left, leaving no room when the main dishes were being brought out. The staff were pretty rude and and had no knowledge of allergens( we also had a gluten free guest) which made her very uneasy of what to order! Drinks were forgotten and it took us 5 attempts to get a jug of water for the table. This is such a shame as the food served was delicious but we won’t be returning! No tip was left due to the poor service.

Nothing but respect for the people working tonight. My dad went to collect the order (five people’s worth of food) and dropped it all after leaving the restaurant. Fortunately, someone from Indiaah saw this unfold, and subsequently offered to make it all again, which they did without charging us. The food was excellent and cooked in a good amount of time (even the second time around!). I’d personally recommend the chicken pakorah. My thanks to those who were working there tonight, we’ll definitely be back again!

2021 update. Still the best Indian takeaway in Pontyclun. Now with added delivery. I've always been a huge supporter of these guys. The staff are lovely. The food is sublime. It's even better now it gets brought to my door. The meat to sauce ratio is still good. The naans are still melt in your mouth. The badjis are still banging. Will not go anywhere else. Just too awesome.

Best meal ever had from here, never had any complaints but tonight's meals were exceptional. boiling hot, right to the end. Very tasty. And delivered within 45mins. Sorry no photos we were hungry!!

If I could give zero stars I would. Absolutely disgusting tandoori garlic chicken bland no taste at all no salt or seasoning. Chips disgusting cold taste of stale fat. Prawn vindaloo like a bowl of soup in fact soup was probably thicker. No taste in any of the food nothing but bland bland bland. Would definitely NOT recommend from this Indian yuk !!!!

Went to Indiaah last night and it was awful.... Freezing cold in there and when asked to put heating on... They said No... My curry was awful and I had an upset stomach all night.... Shame as never had this experience before
