Just had a breakfast delivered from this place - absolutely lovely - big big portions - cooked to perfection- was surprised how cheap it was given the massive breakfast I received - would highly recommend this place and I will definitely be ordering from them again

On a wet and dreary day popped in for coffee and a spot of lunch. Such a lovely clean bright café, owners were really welcoming I have to say that the coffee was certainly the best I've tasted, my vegetarian lunch was superb really tasty and plentiful. As I live the opposite end of town I am not able to call in on a regular basis. However this is certainly the place I will make for when in the Nantwich road area

Went for lunch with a friend, both had baked potatoes which had tasty fillings and were large portions. Very good value for money. Staff were very friendly and efficient. All areas were very clean.

Great full english breakfast but with healthier and more exotic dishes as well. Clean, bright cafe. Fabulous staff. Within an easy walk of the station, so if you have an hour to kill then Spedali's is worth the trip.

Pro - ambiance, pleasant staff, excellent coffee, black pudding, bacon, complimentary oj Con - on the expensive side, sausage and bread could have been of better quality and egg was a bit disappointing.

While my friends ate the spedalis big breakfast and both agreed it was lovely and couldnt fault it what so ever. I had smashed avocado on sourdough with pefectly cooked poached eggs with the yolk just slightly running out, followed by an amazing energising smoothie. Great little cafe with very well mannered staff. 10/10

What a gem of a cafe. We had the most amazing pancake brunch- light and fluffy and lots of them! Shame we live so far away!

Didn't get served, pretty much ignored, empty plates left on tables. New menu isn't great. Changed quite a lot from previous visit. Not in a good way.

Food not good at all . Will not visit again , had breakfast well over priced and food is not nice . The staff I found to be very rude and not bothered

I've been to this cafe recently and being in the area have come come in again. Last time I had coffee and it was excellent, really good coffee. This time because it was a quicker visit it I just had a can of coke and a piece of cake. And wow!! The cake, Victoria Sponge was very reasonably priced and was absolutely delicious and was a big piece of cake too!! I really recommend this little cafe and you can tell they take pride in their standards.

Will be back! Great portions and good food. The value for money is fantastic. If you haven't tried I would recommend. I have been here a few times

I cycle past every day on my way to work so today I decided to go early & have lunch. Boy am I glad I did! Bright & clean, the staff are amazing, the food is awesome & generous portion size. Even though I don't eat this kind of food very often, I can see me visiting more often. An excellent fjnd💛

Visited for lunch, very clean and covid secure, felt safe eating there. Good range of food on the menu, our coffee was lovely and hot. English breakfasts were really nice with the food cooked very well. Would definitely recommend

Went to get coffee before catching my train, wasn't in a massive rush but didn't want to hang around. I asked for soy milk as I'm vegan and I walked down the street sipping it, thinking it tasted rather odd. After a few sips I realised it was dairy milk! I'm really unhappy about this, I didn't have time to turn around and swap it. I understand it can be an easy mistake but it wasn't busy and I specifically asked the man who made the coffee for soy milk, which he assured me he had. I'm really upset about it to be honest

First class here all the way, excellent service and great food with quality ingredients. They warm the cups and the plates so your food doesn't instantly go cold, great little place.

We were meeting for lunch and the website said they were open. When we got there, by taxi, they were closed. If restaurants have a website they should maintain it!

The food is always freshly made & tasty.The staff are very friendly and make one of the best mochas around!

When I worked next to this place we used to go in at get lunch all the time, the toasties and cakes are lovely and the guy that owns it gives great customer service. Highly recommend , it’s very relaxed and a nice cafe to go for a chill and a bite ☕️

Spedali's is a lovely place for a quick lunch, very fresh breads and salads, all prepared on site. Good basic menu with veggie options. My favourite is the BLT on crusty white bread, plus various coffees and other soft drinks. Spedalis' is quite a small place but there are a couple of tables outside and you can usually find a table.

Excellent quality and taste. Very filling. Friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. My first ever oatcake and I loved it.

i had no previous knowlege of this place but im very glad we went in. i wasnt that hungry so ordered a bacon roll, impressed as some places south of the border dont offer to butter it! this was different, and what a size! it was more like a hoagie! my wife had a chicken wrap and both meals were lovely. the decor is light and spotless and you can tell its a popular destination. will definately be back.

Popped into this cafe last week, as was walking past. The cafe itself is light, bright, clean and welcoming and the staff are very friendly i just had my favourite coffee selection - a flat white. It was hot, of good measure and one of the best I’ve tasted.

Been a few times now, and generally before the football (and a trip to BeerDock), but always more than happy with the service and food. The standard breakfast is good value and well cooked. Its amazing how many people can get an English breakfast so wrong!

Passing through Crewe and searched TripAdvisor for a good Cafe. Have to say we were really blown away with the Full English. All excellent quality. Perfectly cooked. Gorgeous tea. Excellent too. Definitely recommend

Visited with my daughter and grandchildren. Could not have been more welcoming, realised it was 10 minutes before closing but were glad to accommodate us. The food is really fresh with a good selection. Coffee is superb. Highly recommended 😃

A quick look around Crewe high street will reveal little in search of a decent place to eat. Admittedly some places were shut as it was lunchtime but this little cafe stood out.

Wow i have find good italian espresso in Crewe. Sure i came back there 😉. Nice place and good espresso. I m italian and this is my first (genuine) espresso like italian in uk. There so many differents cake to try. Great

Met up with a friend for lunch; friendly helpful staff, good menu choice, we both enjoyed delicious omelettes tailored to our choice - all spotless clean, looking forward to my next visit.

Popped in with my mum for a quick lunch having never been in before. Friendly staff and a great lunch. My omelette was delicious and Mum really enjoyed her oatcakes. How nice to get an individual pot of tea too. I will be visiting again to try their breakfast.

We met up with family the day before Christmas Eve and had a lovely freshly-cooked brunch. We had pre-booked a table which was a good idea as Spedalis is a true favourite in the area and it was very busy. The staff are friendly, the premises immaculate and it is well worth a visit. Serves delicious coffee.

Walked in sat down, Menu at the tables but have to order at the desk, Waited for 10 minutes and had to ask where the order is taken!

Came in for a business meeting with a colleague. It was a chilly day so we started with hot drinks - my hot chocolate was excellent. Then we had lunch: a chicken, bacon and cheese panini for my colleague, which he said was very tasty, and a tuna mayo jacket potato for me which hit the spot. Then more tea for him and some herb tea for me from a very good selection. Spotless cafe, friendly service, good music playing from Absolute Radio (or at least that's what the screen said). Power points and wifi with a strong signal. Prices very reasonable too. Highly recommended.

Called in here for a coffee on a saturday morning. What a treat. Had the best BLT I have had in years. Served on a small wooden board with side salad. Lovely friendly staff. Great value too. We will be back. Highly recommend.

It is always a joy to visit as the premises, staff, food, coffee are always excellent. The fiod is hot and well presented and nothing us too much trouble in ensuring a memorable visit. Spedalis is open Tuesday to Saturday and close at 3.30pm during the week.

A friend and I visited here for lunch and a 'catch up'. This is my second visit and certainly didn't disappoint! It is spotlessly clean,the food is fantastic,the staff are lovely,and the price's are just right!

We met as a family today and had a lovely time with excellent food, coffee and soft drinks, prepared and served by lovely staff in an extremely clean and pleasant environment.

Had a fantastic full English here. Eggs poached to perfection, non greasy bacon and sausage withrice beans and mushrooms. Great tea and toast complete ' the most important meal of the day'. Staff fast and attentive, nice Devore, clean tables could not be better, except if they opened on a Saturday.

Chose as a meeting place with a friend. On arrival staff were really welcoming. My friend had a bacon roll with a pot of tea and I had toasted tea cake with an Americano with an extra shot. Snacks and drinks were really good and the atmosphere was relaxing, background music but we were able to chat easily too.

An idyllic cafe hidden on the high street in Crewe. Quiet, cosy and scrumptious. Friendly, helpful service and very tasty, well presented (and priced) food. Highly recommended for breakfast, a light lunch and the cake is amazing! The coffee was moreish and we loved that the green tea came in a cute little teapot. A lovely way to spend the afternoon with hubby chatting.

Spedali's have recently catered my Sons Birthday Party. The owner was up at 5 in the morning to ensure the Party food was fresh and on time. Food allergies were checked prior to the party and different food options were discussed to ensure everyone was catered for. The quality of the food was amazing and the spread was fantastic! You took a huge weight of my shoulders as I didn't have a thing to worry about Thank you.

I often meet my mum here for lunch each time the cafe is clean and fresh! We order are food and I think the longest we have ever waited is ten minutes which is excellent! The prices are great and the staff are always friendly! The food is lovely and it's all fresh!! And don't get me started on the cakes....yum yum yum!! I would say it's the best cafe in Crewe it's not filled with dole dossers and screaming kids! Shame there not open for tea time to be honest lol

Spedali's is local to us and we often visit as a family and as a couple. The service is impeccable, food is lovely and everything is priced well too!

We have often considered visiting this place & what a "gem" as we were very pleased with the food & cleanliness of the establishment. It is small in space but comfortable & has seating outside. A bit disappointed we had to order from the counter but the service was efficient. It was fairly busy & I noticed people having take-out food. They also do outside catering. The menu was excellent healthy options (often it is hard to find healthy choices) there is a specials board you can choose from. I was extremely pleased to see the food was not overpriced. They do special tea "flower tea" from China which was delicious sadly they had only the "vanilla" left but was very good. It is served in a glass teapot (enough for 2 people) & you wait for the flower to open. You may think it is "a bit of a gimmick" but I can assure you it was really good. It was £3:60p for the pot. There is plenty of choices for both tea & Coffee.The only "down side" it closes at 3:30pm ! but they open @ 9amLook forward to visiting again & to have some further flavours of the flower teas.Well done.

I've been here quite a few times now.. The full English breakfast is really nice and such good value for money!! £4.95, including fruit juice and toast. The cafe is always clean, staff are always friendly, and food is always lovely!!

My boyfriend and I have been a few times for breakfast as a little weekend treat. We are always really impressed. The service is speedy and friendly, the environment clean and relaxing and the food really tasty. I'd definitely recommend visiting here. I came with some friends and had lunch. The coffee was the best tasting coffee I've had. I also had a jacket potato with tuna, came out quickly, and was delicious. Jacket potato was a good size and very fluffy just how I like it! Staff were ever so friendly, and so welcoming. I'd definitely be visiting again. Ps the cake is to die for!

Had breakfast here... Coffee ok... Cappuccino with chocolate sprinkles ... If that's what takes your fancy. My partner had a Spedalis breakfast he was very pleased with it. I had the veggie breakfast ... Gotta say it was a bit bland. Maybe a more flavoursome cheese would could packed more if a punch..? But over all a pleasant visit ...

As a family, we had been to Spedali's on a regular basis as our favourite Coffee Lounge for several years. Their food is always excellent, service fast & friendly and it's brilliant value for money. Their Full English Breakfast on a Saturday morning is legendary!Spedali's have recently branched out into the function and corporate catering sector so last weekend we had no hesitation in asking them to do the buffett for a joint 80th/18th family birthday celebration party for 85 guests. I can't say how happy we were with the whole package. The range of food on offer was just out of this world. All home made, as fresh as could be and absolutely delicious. I wouldn't even bother going to anywhere else for our function catering in the future. Fantastic!

Although we are regular visititors to Spedalis. I decided to order one of various buffet lunches that Spedalis do. I wasn't disappointed! . Plenty of rolls/sandwiches and various fillings in abundance. A good plentiful old fashioned sandwich/roll. with all the extra bits that go to make a great spread.Love eating here the food is presented so well and as I can't say it enough there is plenty of it(great that the produce is local an added bonus).From a coffee or cake to full English the choice is great. Added bonus that the Family run business are people that really do care. Lovely people and very professional. Very clean place and a lovely atmosphere. Elizabeth

It definitely helps to get repeat customer on a more regular basis if your not too expensive. We'd recommend this place without a doubt!

I followed trip advisor's suggestion for being number one so I thought I could give it a go. Well priced for its quality, but the quality was average and definitely not for number one.

As a regular customer of Spedali's I'm surprised it's taken me so long to get around to writing a review. First things first this place is fantastic! Situated on the more independent side of Crewe, Nantwich Road, Spedali's is a cafe/small eatery that caters for your breakfast and lighter lunches. It's always clean, tidy, the chaps behind the counter always offer up a smile and friendly service. The food is all fresh and of a great quality. Coffee is also very good! I would advise anybody to visit if they are along Nantwich Road and fancy a brew or a bite to eat. Recently I used their "outside catering" for a small gathering I was having. I was thrilled at the platter Sarah had made for us, finger buffet style sandwiches, quiches, pork pies etc. All delivered to us in covered trays. The price was great for the amount of food that we received and was welcomed and praised by all those in attendance.Basically if you fancy a brew, a cake, breakfast, lunch or need some catering for a party go to Spedali's

Visited at 9:15 on Friday 27th November.Had the Spedalis Breakfast and a large coffee.Coffee arrived within 5 minutes. Breakfast within 15 minutes.Breakfast consisted of Orange Juice. 3 bacon rashers, 2 sausage, white pudding, black pudding, 2 eggs, mushrooms and plum tomatoes (would have preferred fresh tomatoes). Toast with butter and marmalade. All cooked well and hot.Excellent friendly service. Newspapers available to read whilst waiting for food.Will be back next time I fancy a breakfast treat on a day off work.

This is the best carrot cake I've ever had I even brought a slice home for my hubby, I had it with hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows mm mm will now be my local treat thank you also great friendly staff who helped me out of the wheelchair great job guys .

My husband first visited here with our two boys and came back raving about how great the bacon butties were. Now he and I go regularly for coffee, brunch, lunch or afternoon tea! I love this place. Local, convenient, lovely friendly atmosphere, clean and serves excellent food. The coffee is my favourite. I wont go back to costa now. Loyalty card service available now too.

My husband and I love going here for breakfast, and we have also taken my mum who also loves it. The full English is lush and so are the oatcakes. Great place to have food and have a catch up. Only small place but lovely.

We called into Spedali's yesterday, when shopping in Crewe, having read such good reviews here. Didn't have a lot of time, so we just had a coffee and cake. The cakes were delicious, portions were really generous (I couldn't finish all my cake so brought half home for later) & prices very reasonable. The coffee was good, too - nice & strong. Will definitely call back again & try a breakfast or some lunch, as there was lots of the menu to tempt us back!

Just too tempting to drop int lunch time and enjoy a delicious sandwich, oatcake or toasted sandwich. Lovely friendly staff a haven in such a busy area. Good food great coffee and excellent cake!

Can't believe I've never spotted this place on Nantwich Road before. It's a lovely & friendly little cafe and the food and service is excellent too makes a nice little break on my working from home days

Sandwiches and cakes are delicious, and they serve great drinks too. Lovely little cafe to visit with friends or family, and they also deliver sandwiches for lunch to local businesses, which we have often taken advantage of.
